So, that's what I'll be doing next. Not sure exactly when I'll get started in writing this fic... whether it be later this month or sometime next month, but yeah! This will be my next fanfiction.

Nice choice to win the poll! I've been wanting to write about my interpretation of Marx's and Magolor's friendship into actual fanfic.

And yes, "A Tale Of Two Traitors" will be the fanfiction's title whenever I begin uploading it to AO3 (account name is Redd_ddd on there).

My silly little Magolor AU

It’s kind of a “what-if” au where the Master Crown is defeated but Magolor remains in his Phase 2 form

(I probably shouldn’t call it a Neutral ending au but who cares :>)

Magolor Epilogue could still work, with Magolor also learning the attacks of his Phase 2 boss fight, but he gets teleported to Dream Land rather than the Dream Kingdom

He can’t speak, so he tries to use non-verbal ways of communication!

Marxolor/Magomarx could still thrive if you’re delusional enough <3

He’s a bit socially awkward since he might scare off potential friends, but that rarely happens

According to my observations, Phase 2 Magolor doesn’t mainly use the wings on his design, and Magolor (both regular and Traitor Magolor) can hover easily, so I made him hide the crown wrappings with the wings instead :3

I’m not sure if he can fit through the door of Lor Starcutter anymore

The pupil of his eye-mouth was inspired by that one part of a chapter of a Kirby manga showing Magolor actually controlling his new form (translation by @kirby-manga-translated !!!)

The inevitable fusion of the platonic soulmates Marx and Magolor of my au

The Magic/Mind Dimension Entity fragment in Marx's mind gives him the potential ability to absorb souls to become stronger. He's already accidentally partially absorbed Magolor's, giving Magolor the shared telepathic link, power boost, and immortality. At some point in the future, he ends up absorbing Magolor's soul completely, combining their minds and personalities and powers. They compromise on this form, and Hatrick gets a make over. They call themselves Magomarx.

I imagine he/they would be even more of a menace than both of them separately. Not only is he silly crazy, but he's also DRAMATIC.

With Magolor being a burrowing animal and Marx having super strength, A new mischief is unlocked: digging massive holes in people's yards. Right in front of their doors.

Does he ever add more souls to his collective? Maybe, maybe not. How he is, without a fully functioning mind dimension based entity to act as a core, is definitely not how its supposed to work, so that would make things more complicated.

I'm glad after seeing that post lots of people here are appreciating Riki Fuhrmann and his Kirby work now. If you wanna see his art TOTALLY go look him up, he has a blog where he posts stuff. Like I don't know much about this guy other than a list of his contributions to the games but his art is all really unique and nice and he just seems like a cool guy
