(Whispers happily) I went to the pool and it was clean and wonderful and I floated for hours and the disgusting horrid heat could not touch me, for I was floating up to my neck in cool water, I was at peace

Also I found some sunglasses today with Daredevil colored lenses so I was rocking my BEST life, DD tattoo on display, red and black sunglasses.

I am happy.

#a lot of people debated pool and river with me and made some VERY good points #and what pushed it over was having it pointed out that i could still have some beach days #even if i went pool pass #and on top of that i'd be able to *consistently* access to pool with a pass #as opposed to being contigent on whether it's rained in the past 3 days #and the pool was surprisingly clean and well maintained so i was delighted #and holy hell was it nice not to be in the heat #so anyway yeah if you see a white af lady in daredevil sunglasses with a DD tattoo floating in the pool #like a little seal #then that's me hello #don't look directly at me though #it was a long winter and i'm so gd white i could signal a plane in an emergency
