like yes! this is true, astrakhan i am pretty sure has largest non ethnic russian population of russian oblast, russian only make up 57% of population here. but like yes while we are least russian oblast we aren’t anywhere near least russian like area. republic of tuva is only 10% russian. ingushetia is only 0.7% russian. my own adopted motherland of the great republic of tatarstan is only 40% russian.

astrakhan is not outlier and yes probably most non russian oblast the idea that non russian are a majority is just silly. also most of these guy want astrakhan to join kazakhstan and, if you will, a demonstration

Indigo whistled as she walked around the inside of the warehouse she'd just emptied of goons. It was a Black Mask property (the fuckwit) and she'd had her eyes on it for a while. This just gave her the perfect excuse to finally be rid of the thing so she could move onto the next one.

As she walked, she poured out petrol from one of the cannisters Cali had let her take, making sure to cover the papers and money left behind by the goons. She'd already pocketed anything she thought was important, after all. Hopefully, the fire would also take out whatever the fuck he'd been manafacturing in here.

Indigo'd already robbed three houses, set fire to the house of that asshole who hit danny with a car a few weeks back and found that fucker who stabbed her back in the beginning of her stay in Gotham. What could she say? She worked quickly.

It was as she was pouring the last of this petrol can out that she heard the warehouse door open. She took her (well, Eden's - he'd taken her knife so she'd been stuck with the) gun out, pointing it towards the noise, fully expecting a particularly bold goon to have returned.

HOLY! There it is!

I promised that it'd be released in May and I delivered!

So this album is five tracks, and then five more tracks. Ten total! The first five are melodic ambient stuffs, and the following five are reimagined-versions in a more droney noisy aspect! Sampled my own material and then turned them into more... ethereal and creepy tracks. My reasoning for this is wholly that I believe art is this weird differential between sadness and desire. We ache to create something meaningful, and in essence often drift toward more sad tones. I consider this a rise and fall.

Anyway, my favourite track is number four, but they're all my favourite too... if you like weird ambient noisy stuff, this might be up your street and I'd really like you to listen. I poured a lot of love and time into this. It's also on Spotify, and wherever else you can want it.

If you download it from bandcamp (completely free), you get a bunch of goodies, including full scale versions of the front and back cover art, and the booklet of poems, featuring a bunch of photos I've taken.

You may be asking, "back cover art??" and yes! Back cover! This will have a CD release very soon once the manafacturers start helping print them! With this, I will also be giving out 6x4 postcard sized matte-prints of the photography (and journey) that are signed, dated and talk about the photo or something relevant to it on the back. Anybody who "buys" a CD will receive one until they're all gone. There are also a few limited copies of physical glossy prints of the booklet, also signed.

I put "buy" in quotes because the album is free, but if you're not local to me I need to charge you shipping (sorry!) but if you do want to donate any money toward it, it will go toward charity! :)

If you want to know more about the album.. there's a lot of lore, such as how the tracks were mastered, in what speeds, the meanings of certain samples or noises and how they can be deciphered and translated to English...

Yue’s mother was mistreated from childhood to adulthood until Yue’s father first caught sight of her. But she was already weak, especially while living in the cold climate. Yue’s birth took a lot out of her and weakened her immune system. While Yue’s father provided her with the best of doctors, he did strain her a bit too by constantly demanding for affection while she should’ve rested. A horrible fever that swept through the clan took her out.

Unfortunately, Macaque’s presence couldn’t save her in this AU. But he at least knew her before she passed.
