The gardens of Xalphina are some of the prettiest Klavier’s ever seen.

He’d stopped to take a break in a nearby stream, to rest and admire the scenery. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of other merfolk around, but that doesn’t bother him.

orochi stares at the man, on his person carrying a wooden sword. it reminds him of the many wooden swords he saw nearly some of the people who had similarly been lying near the giant, immeasurable hole.  interesting that the world would only give this that much. interesting that they feel the need to remove a basic weapon from those who had trained and honed their skills. 

him, on the other hand, had no need for swords or for weapons. there simply was no need when only a snap of his fingers would cause their souls to bend to his will. 

“ah... how tragic. a swordsman in this world unable to even wield his own sword to protect himself?” his lips twitch slightly, and he chuckles softly. “and i’m sure you’ll agree as well that a wooden sword flatters no appearance?”

Most of the celebration disinterested Squalo, maybe apart from the homemade food and the fishing. Nothing was a better meal than homemade spaghetti alla pescatora and nothing felt more relaxing than sitting on the boat in the middle of a giant lake. He was at neither of those places right now.

As lame as the Chillin’ Villain bar sounded, that was where Squalo currently was. Liquor and the possibility of being around that weren’t afraid to get their hands bloody and led him there. On entering, it seemed to be just another bar filled with a bunch of idiots. 

After giving the building a momentary scan of bodies, Squalo heads to the bar and takes an empty seat and orders a generic drink.
