Noah had never thought about being a woman or really wanted to be one but now that he had a female body....hell, it was kind of fun. It definitely felt weird and very different but since it was only temporary, he decided he was going to enjoy the shit out of it. He was a damn beautiful woman, too, if he did say so himself and there were definitely things he wanted to try as a woman since this seemed like a golden opportunity. Who better to try them with than Manny? Maybe something weird had happened to him but hopefully it would just make it more fun. He also loved that the collar was off, of course, because that meant he actually got to feed properly and was there ever a lot to feed on. Just walking around he could suck up all the different energies coming off everyone else. It was fucking great.
Finding Manny at one of the guard stations, he grinned. "Check me out! Recognize me, babe? Give you three guesses."

This time, Adrasia found it much easier to follow Manny's pace, thoroughly relaxing once they'd done a full lap without wobbling. It was a welcome moment of peace, of gentle focus as they skated side by side and the sounds of the other festival goers hummed around them. For a little while, the celestial could almost pretend they were somewhere else entirely. The feeling was just as melancholy as it was welcome. After a while, he lightly touched Manny's arm, inclining his head back out towards the benches where they'd changed. "Let's go. I believe I owe you something to eat for that cocoa."
Manny met Adrasia's grin with one of his own, green eyes bright underneath the string lights shining down on the manmade ice rink. "And you're a quick learner," he complimented back. He pushed forward again, casually drifting down the ice in line with the rest of the crowd circling around. "How 'bout a few more laps and then we can check out the rest of the village, yeah?" he suggested, glancing over at Adrasia again.

Manny was truly saying the most sensible thing and Adrasia nodded at the sentiment that they should keep trying even as he felt a strange pang at hearing it. Was it disappointment he felt? The celestial had no clue. Confusion with himself, at least, was easy to identify. "I shall try my best." When it came down to it, the shifter was a good model of proper form. Adrasia found the cadence of his shifting weight again, slowly but surely building up a bit of speed on the ice. With some of his reflexes granted back to him, he found the act not so intimidating once he'd mastered his nerves over potentially ramming into another skater. He and Manny had survived it, after all.
Determined to show what he'd learned, Adrasia made sure to finish the lap before he... cheated somewhat, less stopping than letting his inertia simply run out before he turned to look back to Manny properly. "I think I have it," He said with a small grin, "You're a very intuitive teacher."
The illusion shattered soon as they separated, time and reality resuming around them. Manny's face burned full red now as he quickly ducked his head in an attempt to hide the color or, well, convincingly blame it on the cold. Curiouser that he noted a similar reaction in different forms from Adrasia, watching the celestial out of the corner of his eye a moment until he lifted his head. The cold at least soothed the heat under his skin. He held no expectations for a repeat of what happened between them during heat week, though that didn't diminish any desires to if Adrasia felt the same. It was difficult to say if the older man did or didn't, not without asking anyway. And even as the berserker's lips parted, those weren't the words that came out.
"It's all right," he reassured Adrasia with a warm smile. He cleared his throat. "Even if you had injured me I heal pretty quick. And you wouldn't be my first ice skating-related injury. We should keep moving." The younger of the two gestured with a tilt of his chin towards the rest of the folks on the ice and how they'd stopped in the way of traffic. "Think you can give it a go on your own?" he asked, pushing off his foot and moving forward slow enough for Adrasia to keep up.

The trouble, Adrasia was realizing, with making exceptions for extraordinary situations was that even once the situation passed, the memories lingered. His lips had found Manny's only once before in the midst of the shifter's heat and it had been easy enough to explain away his own interest through the offering of aid. But the fact remained that the celestial knew what it felt like to kiss the other man and he shocked himself in that moment, with Manny flushed and close, by thinking of it again. His smile grew a little nervous, a little amused still. "We will not get very far if this is what I have to resort to every time we stop," Adrasia replied, scolding only playfully. He straightened on his wobbly skates and made himself let Manny go, trying to play off the strange bashfulness he felt as he pushed his hair back behind his ears. "I should not have done that, really. If I'd actually fallen you would have been doomed with me. I would hate to injure you in an attempt to teach me something new."
Manny immediately saw the disaster the second he heard the click of jagged blade points against the ice and saw Adrasia's balance shift. He reached out for the celestial at the same time in... well, he wasn't really sure what he was doing except trying to keep the older man from falling. It was only when they stopped, both still impressively on their feet, did he realize he'd grabbed onto Adrasia's waist and now the two of them were very, very close. Pink colored his cheeks from a rush of heat against the bitter cold. "Yes, actually," he laughed in response, still holding onto Adrasia despite the two of them clearly sturdy on their feet. His gaze flickered over the other's features, Manny dragging his bottom lip between his teeth as a grin spread over his face. "I mean, no one fell. I don't think you could have done it any better than that."

Adrasia had been so fully enjoying the movement itself, he hadn't even considered the logistics of stopping. He copied Manny's movements: toes out, knees bent, eyes narrowed in concentration only for a tiny bump in the ice to jar his skate just the celestial attempted to shift his weight. Too far back, and Adrasia hastily overcorrected, dropping Manny's hand to grab instinctively at the shifter's shoulder and just as quickly realizing they were both in trouble now. They did stop - after an eternity's worth of wobbling in the span of a second, Adrasia's skates scraping against the ice as he half-turned, bumping his hip into the other man with a soft yelp. Then all was still and the celestial realized a beat later he was still clinging, laughing sheepishly as his muscles unfroze themselves. "There we are. Perfectly executed, yes?"
"I have full faith we will survive it," Manny agreed. He felt Adrasia had it down enough that they could relinquish each other's hands but the younger of the two rather liked it for more than just support. "Well, now that you've got the movement down, think it's a good time to figure out how to stop without falling. Easiest way to go about it is just turn your toes out just a little bit, bend your knees slightly, and just kinda..." He did as he explained to show Adrasia. "Lean back on it."

Cold as it was, the wind on Adrasia's face felt heavenly. He felt an intense pang of gladness in that moment to be able to enjoy it at all, out of the bowels of the Undercroft, underneath the pale grey sky promising more snow for the festival-goers at any moment. The glide of the skates made pressing forward feel effortless. "Different." He smiled, feet wavering only slightly as a sideways breeze plucked at the celestial's scarf, "But good." Manny kept him upright until the movements felt natural and he could lift his eyes properly again, holding the shifter's hand more for the pleasure of it than needing the support anymore. "I daresay we will survive this."
"We've become pretty clever," Manny replied, grinning crookedly. Well, he wasn't technically human but he had once been mortal like them. Not the point anyway. He kept a hold on Adrasia's hand as they skated side by side, Manny's confidence and bravery growing by the time they finished their first lap around. He picked his feet up in sweeps to push himself forward, still leveling the amount of strength behind to stay slow with the other man. "See, I feel like you're getting it down, yeah? It's not as hard as it seems, it's just different than walking."

Adrasia was watching the skaters already at home on the ice, taking note of how they carried themselves and placed their feet. His eyes roamed back to Manny just in time for them both to step out, smiling slightly at the look of intense focus on the shifter's face. The initial change was not so bad. "Slow is good." The celestial could feel different muscles engaging than those used in the simple act of walking, but they were still in the service of carrying him. He kept a careful grip on Manny's hand, letting the other's momentum carry him forward with no input at first, a noise escaping him until Adrasia centered his weight again and tested a sweep of his feet. He had to be careful not to jar Manny's skates with his own when they were so close, but the movement seemed intuitive once he got a hold of the pace. "Such remarkable things humans devise," Adrasia remarked, still tracking the gestures of Manny's feet and doing his best to mimic him.
"It's similar in the sense of added height and the shift in balance, but your foot is still more flat in skates than heels," Manny explained. He led Adrasia carefully to the ice, walking slow and taking normal steps as if he were just wearing a heavy pair of boots. He stepped onto the ice first and paused to take a second or two to adjust. It'd been a long while since he'd done this himself and he needed to remember how not to fall on his ass. His feet never left the ground as he did what he'd said and glided, keeping the blades on the slippery surface. He was no graceful skater by any means but whatever he did kept him vertical. "We can go slow," he said. "Just kind of slide one foot and then the other."

"Fair enough!" Adrasia snickered, expression shifting to trepidation just as quickly as he threw his arms out to steady himself again. It wasn't so bad then, his reflexes seeming to kick in and find his center once more. He gave Manny a grateful look at the offered hand, holding it tightly just in case as they navigated to the entry onto the ice. "I have never walked in heels, no," Adrasia said after a moment's thought, "Not in the manner of this age, at least." He felt very sorry for the women of the current day if they were all wearing Finn's footgear, though he doubted those shoes could be deemed average in height. "Glide, I can do. I will follow your lead."
"Then neither of us will have any room to judge the other," Manny said with a breath of laughter as he laced up the skates he'd been handed. It took him a moment to remember how to do it from the many childhood birthday parties at the ice rink. Once they were on nice and tight (but not too tight) he stood up, smirking a little. He could see Adrasia's uncertainty already before they even hit the ice. "Here, I can help you," he offered, walking over towards the older man with his hand out to assist with his balance and possibly even onto the ice. "It's like... I don't suppose you've ever walked on high heels before, have you? It's not too far off until we get to the ice. Then we just glide."

Having been shopping with Roland so recently meant Adrasia actually did have a few numbers floating around his head, enough to size up the right pair of skates and join Manny on one of the low benches to lace up. "And what if neither of us can stay on our feet?" He asked ruefully, though it was hard not to smile at those already out and struggling on the ice. He tried to get himself started on reasoning his new center of gravity, wobbling on the hard mat while Manny finished his ties.
"For my brother and I, yes, our parents were both in sales sort of positions," Manny said. He nodded at Adrasia's assumption, already leading the celestial over towards the skate rental shack set up. "It is balance. Don't worry, I haven't been on a pair of skates since I was a kid, so you might get a good laugh out of it," he chuckled. "What shoe size do you wear?"

Adrasia indeed had not a clue as to what that might mean until the shifter explained, a slow smile growing across his face. "You're an artist," The angel said warmly, "That makes a great deal of sense." Manny had the temperament for it it, patient and perceptive. Adrasia had never felt such impulses to create, but he had a great deal of admiration for those who did. "You make that industry sound like your family's calling."
He finally looked away from the shifter at Manny's prompting, eyes roving over the busy ice. Like the rest of the village adorned for the holiday, it was a disarmingly charming sight. "I haven't, but it cannot be so difficult... it's all balance, no?"
"I was a graphic designer, actually," Manny replied. He paused, not sure if Adrasia might know what that fully meant based on his technological knowledge nor did he want to come off as condescending. "So, like, digital art... creating posters, brochures, web banners, and presentations, that sort of stuff. I long came to terms I wasn't great at science or math and wouldn't follow the same path as my brother. Lo and behold," he said with a short breath of laughter. "I wound up in the healthcare industry too."
And speaking of paths, they were approaching the frozen lake where people were already ice skating. They could continue conversing while hitting the ice as an option. "You ever go skating before?" he asked.

"That's wonderful," Adrasia said sincerely, keeping his eyes on Manny's profile as they walked, "He'll do much good for others in such a position." With his altered collar and his reflexes returned, the celestial was unconcerned with focusing on where they were headed. The shifter seemed a much more important focal point. Adrasia paused, thinking of Finn's suggestion to ask Manny directly about the more painful aspects of his background. Was this the right time, or horribly wrong, when the other was simply wanting to enjoy his holiday. "What about you?" Adrasia asked gently, "What did you want to do, before this place?"
"Oh, that... that makes sense then," Manny replied, ducking his head as he bit his bottom lip against another smile. "I'm honored to be part of your celebration this year." He lifted his chin and looked at Adrasia briefly before straight ahead again as they walked. His features warmed under fondness. "I am, yeah. I mean, we all are in my family, obviously. He's put in a lot of hard work to get where he is so it's a big fucking deal. Sometimes I forget just how smart he is until he starts talking about medical and health things."

"Oh, it certainly can be!" Adrasia was quick to reassure Manny of that, looking up from his own drink. "It's only... well, it seems right to do so in the company of others. Many years I was alone, on other missions. I was not taught Christmas in the heavens." He was a little amused by the idea. "But now I'm celebrating with you." The celestial gave Manny a smile of his own in return, laughing brightly at the sudden display of athleticism. "Well done."
Manny's answer wasn't what he'd expected. "You're the younger one? Really?" He looked at the shifter in pleasant surprise, "I would not have guessed that. You must be very proud of him."
"Really?" Manny blinked, sounding surprised at Adrasia's admission over his lack of traditions. "I know Christmas can celebrated by anyone of any faith or culture. The joy of the holiday belongs to everyone, not just mortals... or at least that's what I think." He offered the older male a lopsided grin at that.
He cleared off the last of the whipped cream from his hot chocolate and glanced around, finding a trash can that he skillfully tossed his spoon into from the short distance. He mentally praised himself for the successful shot. "I'm the younger brother," he answered. "His name's Will, he's two years older than I am. He's the soon-to-be doctor of the family."

Noah laughed a little breathlessly as Manny agreed and pulled out, feeling vaguely giddy in the afterglow. Still, he was happy to have Manny stay next to him and set a hand over his arm, glancing over at him when he answered the question. "That better be the answer." He listened to him describe the blood with interest. "Maybe that's why the vamps are so crazy for it. Must be addictive or somethin'. And I'm gonna keep makin' you feel good. Gimme a couple minutes and I'll let you bite me again..." With the collar turned off his natural healing was in full swing, not to mention sex just made him that much stronger. He turned and grabbed Manny's face for another kiss. Needless to say, they didn't leave the room for a long time.
END
"Hell yeah it was," Manny agreed. He exhaled slowly once more as he pulled himself out of Noah and flopped down on the bed beside him. One arm draped over the other's middle while he held him close and enjoyed the heat radiating from his soft skin. His chin rested on Noah's shoulder and he pressed a gentle kiss to the side of the slave's neck, humming in thought. "I always think you taste good," he chuckled. He licked off some of the leftover blood still on his lips to properly judge. "It's weird, this blood shit. Like it tastes like the usual metallic but there's flavor in there I can't describe. Like... sweet but rich. I dunno, all I know is it makes me feel real good right now."

Adrasia's eyes widened at the mention of a sibling, certain that Manny had not mentioned one before. "In the past I suppose I've celebrated in whichever manner those who were around me chose to," He said with an amiable shrug, "I have no traditions of my own; it is a thoroughly mortal holiday, after all, albeit a cheerful one." The celestial had always trended more secular than perhaps would be expected of one of his kind. Adrasia knew other angels who bonded firmly with certain faiths, but he had chosen to see kernels of truth within them all. Christmas, at the very least, seemed to be drifting more towards secular itself with each passing year. "That sounds like a wonderful way to spend the holiday." His eyes softened, melancholy at the thought of Manny's family thinking of the shifter even as the two of them strolled down the bustling street, "I didn't know you had a brother! Are you the youngest or eldest?" Privately, Adrasia suspected the latter.
"Perhaps a wise decision," Manny chuckled with a nod. He'd gladly keep the mood light on that subject like he believed Adrasia was doing and Christmas was a time of joy anyway. He walked along with the other man while scooping another spoonful of whipped cream into his mouth. "Nah, back home I'd be with my family, my parents and brother Will. We'd wake up early and unwrap presents, have some breakfast, and then spend the day together at home until dinner. We'd all pass out one by one in our respective armchairs or couches watching It's a Wonderful Life." He smiled fondly at the memory, much preferring those moments than Christmas in Krovs even though he had no complaints about some of the company he kept here. "What about you? How would you celebrate Christmas outside here?"

"Why?" Noah pouted, figuring it would have a better effect with the fuller lips he had in this body. He never was particularly patient and he wanted to be fed on, dammit. But it was easy enough to get distracted with the kisses and the insistent rock of Manny's hips. He wrapped his legs around Manny's hips, gasping and moaning, especially when Manny slowed so he could feel all of him. He buried his fingers in Manny's hair, scratching down his back with the other hand as the pace picked up and they got more frenzied, Noah's hips rocking just as hard. Just when he thought Manny had forgotten about biting him, those fangs sank into his neck at the same time Manny's cock throbbed inside him and Noah cried out in pleasure, clenching hard around his cock as the euphoric wave washed over him. He clung hard to Manny as he rode it out, holding his head to his neck, eyes closed and head titled to give him as much room as possible. Noah rode out their practically simultaneous orgasm. "Don't stop, don't fuckin' stop..." He gasped, the pull of Manny taking his blood just prolonging the pleasure for him and making him feel hazy in the best way.
"Patience," Manny murmured against Noah's lips as he returned each and every kiss. He hadn't been a vampire before but he'd fucked enough around here to know that apparently feeding was better when done at the height of climax during sex. He never understood that but he supposed he'd find out soon enough. The berserker-now-aswang fell quiet save for breathy grunts and moans as he found his rhythm fucking Noah, occasionally slowing himself down so that the cambion could feel every inch driving into him. He could feel that pressure building and building in his lower belly and strangely so did the hunger that burned in his throat. This blood thirst oddly wasn't too different from Manny's usual need for his sin's energy, the symptoms similar, and instinctively his canines shifted into sharp fangs ready to strike. "Fuck, Noah," was all the warning he could give before his orgasm hit him and he sank his teeth into the other's neck.

Noah made a small sound as Manny pulled his fingers out, smiling as he watched him lick them clean. That was fucking hot. What was even better was Manny giving him what he wanted and he made a strange gasping sound as he slid into him. It was so different, not like having a cock in his ass, but it still felt fucking good even if it was weird. There was a little pain but Noah was more than used to dealing with that. Being filled was familiar, too, just not exactly like this. He panted as Manny bottomed out, wrapping his arms around him and holding him there, rocking his hips with him as he moved. "Fuck that's so perfect." Noah gasped. The more he moved down on him the better it felt so he kept rocking his hips, pulling Manny's head down and kissing him hard. "I want your fangs in me too, babe." He muttered the words, biting roughly at Manny's lip, shivering and clenching around him just at the thought.
With one orgasm out of the way, Manny immediately withdrew his lips and fingers so he could comply with the next request. After all, he couldn't deny how much he wanted that same thing, cock buried inside of Noah's dripping sex. He sat up, holding the cambion's gaze while he licked his fingers clean. "As you wish," he murmured softly. Fortunately there was no need for lube considering Noah was wet enough so he lined his erection up between those lovely spread legs and slowly pushed inside, groaning out loud as the tight heat engulfed him till he bottomed out. Manny gave them a second to both adjust before rocking his hips gently to test the waters and gradually picking up rhythm.
