17. Describe your day today? Today I woke up at seven, had breakfast, and came on tumblr to organise my queue while listening to a podcast. Later I’ll prepare some food for tomorrow, because we are having guests, and maybe catch up on the songs from last night’s Sanremo show.

39. What’s the last thing you watched on Netflix? Last night I watched the first part of James Acaster’s Repertoire.

50. What would you do if you won the lottery? I’d probably help my mum and dad, get a house for myself, get a car, travel a lot and everywhere, then I’d get a real good job, give the surplus of money to a good institution and live my life fairly well and content, with a pet.

Supanova breakdown + panel :)

(heads up, this is a kinda long post) So basically @maoshield and I arrived at Supanova and we went to look for Liz straight away. Much to our disappointment, she wasn't there...It was getting close to her panel time and so we decided to just go straight to the hall. We went in to the panel prior to her session and sat about half way back from the stage. When that panel had finished, we rushed forward to about the fifth row away from the stage and at this point I would say we were just out of our seats (literally) and we just couldn't believe we were actually going to be meeting her. Every second felt like forever. Wen she walked out I was just like screaming internally.... it was surreal seeing her in person and so close. It's like one of those moments where you're like realising that she's someone who is on the TV and you just met them aka I basically freaked out.

Here’s some of the things that she said at the panel : (although because in Australia, technically aos isn’t up to date, so she couldn’t say a lot about the current season which sucked a bit but it was still really good) • the finale of this season is really emotional and it was one of her favourites to film (she said a lot on how it’s really really emotional and it was hard to film) • her favourite episode was filming the wedding in the 100th (her second favourite is 1x02) • Liz is allergic to cats • all of the cast is mean to Jeff Ward coz it just happened • One of their pranks was they put snow on Iain’s car all the way up to the windows • she kept crying when she had to film with iain in s2 (when he had cerebral hypoxia) • If she was in the framework her regret would probably be being with Will, but on the other hand maybe in the framework she would just sleep with a bunch of different guys • She ships philinda and thinks Ming na is the sexiest woman alive • If she could play any other mcu character or have them join the show, she would want Groot (she kinda went on a spiel on him)

Straight after the panel we went to the photo op. My friend and I were wearing fandom t-shirt. When it was finally our turn to get a photo taken, we were really nervous. But Liz, being the wonderful and amazingly kind elizabeth, just went hey and smiled and I was blown to bits. She straight away complimented on our T-shirts and that's probably a moment I'll never forget. And here comes the semi awkward/happy moment: we had to take three shots because my glasses were reflecting the light.... but I mean I enjoyed the additionally time with her so... hahah.

The next bit was the autograph - while we were waiting for the admin to approve our ticket, Liz just went ahead and said hello to us. She then asked whether the photo turned out ok. (and internally I thought SHE REMEMBERED!!!) I then asked her how she thought Melbourne was and whether she was enjoying herself (this is while she is signing). She loved it and then I added Melbourne can be quite temperamental…. I then blabbed a bit more on this and then gave her the present my friend and I prepared (which included vegemite, caramello koalas, m&m flavoured lamintons…, a aussie slang book and two letters). She thanked us and then my friend told her that we had an English SAC (basically a school assessed test that counts towards your final mark in high school) the day after and she wished us luck for it (so basically we can’t screw that up) and wished us well for the rest of the day. We went away feeling really really happy. 😊

Next thing that was pretty cool was when we were walking around the stalls, we saw Zach! (her boyfriend) I was really tempted to go up to him and just say whether it was him and take a photo but of course I chickened out and now I regret it sadly…. :((((( We basically followed him around a bit debating whether to go up to him or not…. So our day at supanova was pretty damn good (except I didn’t get to see Peter Capaldi which I’m pretty bummed out about…, coz that’s the other reason why I went to supanova :((( )

Soooo I’ve hit a big follower milestone so I wanted to make an appreciation post!

Blue Bows and Old Woes

A fitzsimmons academy au meet-cute. What happens when a love of Disney, a Halloween party, and a grumpy attitude combine? You get a bunch of near misses, accidental couples costumes, and the start of an incredible dynamic duo. 

For maoshield for the Less than 5k Fitzsimmons exchange. The prompt was ‘Disney’ and I don’t really know how we ended up here. Read on AO3.

“Don’t you think the bow is sitting weird?” Jemma fussed, trying –to little avail –to see the back of her head in the mirror.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Jem. It looks like a bow.” Quinn replied.

“I’m telling you, it’s crooked. And the ends are falling flat.” Jemma did a small semi-circle around the mirror, head craned over her shoulder.

“Of course it looks weird. You’re circling that mirror like a dog looking to sit down. You look fine Jemma. We’ve been getting ready for two hours, let’s just go already.”

Jemma examined herself in the mirror, smoothing the front of her powder blue dress and white apron. “I know, but being Belle is one of those special costumes. The reader, dreaming of a bigger world than her own, finding her own way –that’s why we joined the SHIELD academy in the first place, isn’t it? To find adventure in the great wide somewhere?” She spun to face her friend, grinning, “Don’t you want so much more than this provincial life?”
