Meet the Factionless

John Fall

A sweet and gentle man. He is in charge of most housekeeping, like cleaning, cooking, sewing, etc. Unfortunately, he got amnesia since his 14 years-old after an airplane crash which he survived along with other 20 people by miracle.

The amnesia didn't come alone, he developed a severe trauma for loud sounds, small firecrackers can already trigger a panic attack if close enough.

He seems to love movies and books, people have said that one of the actress in the movies that he sees looks fairly similar to John, yet he shrugs it off as coincidence.

Bill Gordon

A literature teacher, librarian and sort of editor, loves every type of book, specially the ones who break logic and reality. Best friend of Matt Stubley since their childhood and an enthusiast of Lancelot's stories.

He also adores the festivities and is often seen either in the music room, art room or festive room. With Matt, of course.

He is severely calm and loves to avoid conflict, he joined the Followers but then left because he wanted to avoid the Factions fights and disliked being separated from his best friend. He is in good terms with most of them, specially Jack.

Matt Stubley

A literature writer, specializing in fantasy. Best friend of Bill and also, an entusiast of Lancelot's stories. He admires Jack and can be often seen with either him, Bill, Lancelot or the three at the same time.

He may present calm and collected but can turn temperamental if pissed off enough or if someone harms people dear to him (like harming Bill for example). He joined the Saboteurs but left because he didn't like the Factions fight and he disliked risking his life a lot. He is in good terms with Alice and Jack though.

Puppeteer:

She visits John's room during the night once every two days and leaves riddles for him to solve.

John Fall:

He enjoys music, it gives him good memories and when stressed, he visits the Music Room to hear some recordings or make some music himself.

James & Jack Firewood:

James adores his younger brother, however, there are times when he does get annoyed, and in those times he never calls his brother by name or by just 'brother', he says in a rather sarcastic tone "Dear younger brother".

Jack's first word was 'Jim' when he was barely less than 2 years, so only him has the privilege of calling his older brother 'Jim'.

Funnily, when Jack is annoyed too with his older brother or wants to convince him of not doing something, he tells him 'Your Jim privileges has been revoked. Now you are James', which inmediatly backtracks his brother.

They care for each other deeply but they still have disagreements at times like any other sibling. They, contrary to most, decide to breathe in for a day and then talk calmly, they never stay angry at each other for more than 24 hrs.

Alice Green:

She engulges herself in mysteries, she loves them so much that the sole reason why she isn't like Jack in terms of 'knowing the nature of the Puppeteer' is because she dislikes being imprisioned and limited on her work.

Isami Nakamura:

Even though she comes from a Japanese family, she despises her family and culture due to her past. She, however, enjoys Egyptian and Western culture.

Bill Gordon:

Stays mostly in the library because a lot of books in there were either edited or commented without edition, so he loves to see what other editors considered special or what perspective they had on things that they didn't agree.

Matt Stubley:

Bill mostly critiques his work, so he also enjoys the library to see other viewpoints. There are times when he asks Jack's perspective on the matter, specially psychological advice when he needs a special character.

Nataly Thompson:

As cold as James, she never lets anyone except Lancelot to call her 'Nat'.

Lancelot Donovan:

Enjoys Oriental culture and respects them a lot. He is a great mediator between the spiritual world and the living world, knowing how much it influences the living.

I love playing Panic Room in Autumn mainly due to the fact that it really gets you in the mood. It's bleak, miserable and has a sense of foreboding. Excited/dreading the Halloween questline because I hate Matt.

Most definitely either between Halloween or Christmas. Probably because they’re my favourite holidays irl? XD It might also have to do with the fact that around this time of year is when I really get into the game. More than usual. It’s dark, cold, and dreary: perfectly sets the mood for the story as well.

That being said it’s all sunshine and butterflies in seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 is just… fuuuuuuuuuuck. Especially the Halloween questline. T^T
