i love the continuity of this joke. liebgott telling webster that malarkey's being promoted to lieutenant, web telling jones what lieb told him. then, when jones congratulates malarkey for his promotion, you can see the men snickering in the background. malarkey being confused for a second, but looks back at lieb, chuck, and the others when he realizes they were the ones behind this. and we have web looking back at liebgott when he realized lieb was just making fun of him
