listen, i am so indecisive whenever i want to watch something. it's fine if it's just me, but with ennoshita? i am the reason he will get gray hairs early. sorry love! it's our tradition to have some sort of movie night every weekend, in honor of ennoshita's love for films and shows (and my need to have hyperfixations and fandoms). anyway, i claim to trust his judgment when it comes to suggestions but uhhh, see "argument" below. (also is it just me who "procrastinates" watching a show sometimes even if i wanna watch it?)

kenma is canonically a dry texter LMAOOO! i panic and overthink during our series of first texts, but then i eventually get used to his style. i don't expect him to majorly change how he does things, and he tries to meet me in the middle anyway. at the start, it's like proper grammar and everything, but he starts using: emojis for expressiveness, lowercase, no periods unless it's to break up sentences in a chat, tone markers/clarifications. he understands my needs well enough too (straightforward reassurance, listen first before offering solutions, etc.)

sometimes after purchasing the subscription its like you need a subscription for these features, dont click restore purchase click on the .99¢ one again (or whatever tier you bought) and it will redo your subscription (will not charge you a second time)

Emi held up a sign with three names, waiting patiently. She’d kept up with each men on Twitter, so she knew when they would arrive at the Okinawan Airport. Bouncing on her toes, she gasped when she saw them all come out of the terminal.

She held her sign up higher, waving them over.

“Oh, my god,” she said to herself. “They’re here.”

Her attempts to hide her excitement were futile. Though, she was more than excited. After all, one of the men standing before her was her father. Emi’s eyes darted from each of them.

Isagi Yoichi held a gentleman-like nature around him. Based on her mother’s journal, he was her first love. Their fleeting summer romance ended with him leaving her to continue pursuing his football career. As he walked over, suitcase in tow, she couldn’t help but wonder what her life would’ve been like had he stayed with her mother. If he were her father, of course.

Nagi Seishiro stood tall among them, yet he walked the slowest to Emi. From what Emi read, he was a lazy person, but her mom had convinced him to grow a little spontaneous. Although their time together was short, Nagi was shown a life outside of the big city. Emi watched him loiter, getting distracted by an Okinawan souvenir shop.

Michael Kaiser walked with confidence, being far ahead in the trio. He likely didn’t even see the two behind him, focused only on walking over to Emi. From her mother’s journal, Emi could tell he was a man full of charisma, and seeing him in person seemed to prove that. Emi inwardly praised her mom for being able to score with these men.

“Hi,” she breathed out.

Kaiser took one of Emi’s hands into a firm handshake. “Hello. You must be the bride.”

“I am.”

Isagi and Nagi walked next to each other, coming behind Kaiser.

Isagi gasped, “You look just like your mother!” He turned his head to Nagi and Kaiser. “And I didn’t know you knew these two!”

Nagi waved to Emi. “It’s nice to meet you.”

“It’s nice to meet you all, too. I’m Emi!” She put the sign down, only just now realizing she’d still been holding it up the whole time. “I’ll be driving you guys to the hotel, you can, um, see my mom then.”

Kaiser had a sour look on his face as he looked Isagi up and down. Isagi ignored the looks he was getting, instead focusing on following Emi out of the airport. Nagi quietly accompanied behind the group.

Once everyone put their things into the trunk and situated themselves into the car, Emi spoke. “So, I have to be honest with you guys.” She drew in a breath, gripping the steering wheel as she looked at the rear view mirror to see the men packed into the back of her van. “My mom doesn’t know you guys are here,” she squealed.

Their mouths collectively dropped, and Isagi even let out a groan.

“Listen, before you guys say anything! My mom has done so much for me, and she’s always talking about you guys. I just, I had to throw an amazing surprise for her. And what’s better than having you all attend my wedding...” Emi’s voice died down as she looked at the faces of each of the men. They did not seem as excited as her.

Isagi was the first to talk. “Emi, I shouldn’t be here. Things ended bad with your mother; I don’t think she’d like to see me again.”

“That was years ago! Please, it would mean sooo much to me,” she retorted.

“Why?” Isagi’s brows furrow.

Kaiser joined the conversation. “I’ve got to agree with, ugh, Isagi on this. I can book the next flight home and be out of your mother’s hair before she even knows it.”

“Too much of a hassle,” Nagi finally speaks. “Can we just go the hotel so I can take a nap?”

Emi smiles, “Agreed!”

“No!”

She frowns, drawing her eyes down. “When I sent the invites, it was along shot that you’d even reply. Yet you guys came all this way for a wedding, of a girl you don’t even know. Whose mom you knew twenty years ago.” She peeked her eyes back to the rear view mirror. “There must be some special reason you guys flew out all this way.”

The three men laughed.

“You’re just like your mother,” Isagi sighed. “Fine,” he suddenly said, “I’ll stay. I’m curious what Y/N’s been up to.”

“Me too,” Nagi said, leaning further into his seat and closing his eyes.

Kaiser made a noise before saying, “Well, if they’re staying, so am I!”

Emi smiled. She couldn’t believe how easy it was to convince them. She started her car and gave one more glance to the mirror. “You guys won’t regret it, really!”

★ reo and hyoma used to visit okinawa every year, but work’s kept them busy in the more recent years

★ nagi was more interested in staying in okinawa than he let on lol

★ during the car ride, emi asked the men about their time with her mom. she got to find out a lot about the men and learned about things her mom never told her about herself

★ she got isagi, nagi, and kaiser’s phone numbers during the ride at a car ride
