Cocktail Calamity
It was quiet with Rylee and River. As quiet as relaxing on the couch watching tv together can get in any case. The two weren't cuddling, though they were in each others company. The only one missing from the polycule is their octoling, Hex. Fortunately for the two, the missing spot would soon be filled as they both hear the door open.
"Hey Hex." River says first, shuffling on the couch to look behind them. That's when she notices the two large bags the octoling has in each hand. They were about to ask what is in the bags but Rylee-
"What's in the bags Hex?"
Beat them to it. Regardless of who asked the question River sees a smile form on her face as she holds up a bag. "Head over to the kitchen and I'll show you."
Hex walks towards the kitchen, disappearing around the corner leading to it as she does. The two inklings look at each other before getting up off the couch and making their way there as well. Upon entry they see Hex place the bags on the counter before pulling out what River recognizes as a cocktail shaker. "I didn't know you drank."
Hex snorts as she pulls out the bottles of alcohol from the bags. "Used to be a bartender back underground. It wasn't the best since there were heavy restrictions on drinking. 'Have to be vigilant for the inkling menace' they said. No offense."
Rylee chuckles a little while River rolls her eyes. Though it was in a 'none taken' sort of way. Now with more bottles out in addition to some fruit the octo continues her words. "In any case the stuff down there was low quality and nothing like what it is up here. Had to work with what we had and all but now?" She gestures to the array of alcohols and fruit. "Now I can get back into doing that. Mostly. Turns out Octarian liquor licenses aren't 100% valid up here so I can't get a job yet. But that doesn't mean I can't share the fruits of my labour with my two lovely partners."
Now River is bashful at the compliment, now letting out a chuckle. Composing themself River pulls up a chair and sits by the counter. "Well alright then miss bartender, make me a cocktail. Surprise me."
"Will do." As Hex is about to get to work she looks at Rylee. "Would you like one? Or do you not…"
River watches Rylee pierce her lips at this. It reminded them of the time when during collage that River would actively stop her from drinking or doing anything that could affect her size. Now in hindsight it just meant that they unintentionally contributed to the anxiety that the inkling feels, even if it was done with good intentions. She perks up once they see Rylee take a seat beside them, eyeing the fruits.
"Um… Normally I don't, was just something that River had me not do before. So…" Rylee looks at Hex and smiles at her, "I'll try one. But could you maybe make it more fruity so that I don't taste it as much if you can? That would be nice."
Hex pauses before blinking at the request. "Hey sure I can give it my best shot. One extra fruity cocktail coming right up. Give me a bit and I will serve it up."
The two inklings nod and simply let the octoling do her thing. Hex meanwhile cracks her hands and gets to work. Been awhile but she remembers how to make cocktails, and because of that she will start on River's first. From the bars she went to there was one called a Gold Rush, so she will start with that, first putting in the ice into the shaker before tossing in the 2 ounces of bourbon, lemon juice, and honey syrup. Honey wasn't something that she would think to put in a cocktail but she the drinks she served were underground and restricted. So most cocktails weren't available and mostly consisted of cheap beers. Nonetheless with all the ingredients inside, Hex closes the shaker and starts to well, shake it. After a good 5-7 seconds Hex stops, grabbing a glass, and ice before pouring it in and sliding it over to River.
"Enjoy." Hex says with a smile.
Looking at the glass River grabs it and gives it a small swirl before taking a sip. The alcohol makes their face scrunch up but the honey manages to get the worst of it before they swallow the rest. Needless to say despite the slight kick from the bourbon, it was… Really good.
"You did great with the drink Hex." River said as they slide the glass back to the octoling. "The honey was a good touch. Hid most of the alcohol taste."
Hex smiles in amusement at this, taking the glass back and pulling another empty one out. "Glad that you enjoyed it. Now I have one that should fit the criteria of 'extra fruity' so give me a bit ok Rylee? And remember, you are free to back out if you want."
She places her hand over the other inklings', gently carassing it as she does so, "Just want to make sure that this is something you absolutely want to do."
"Don't worry about me Hex." Rylee says as she holds the octolings' hand. "I am pretty sure I have enough self control to stop myself if I feel like stopping."
Despite feeling apprehensive Hex nods and puts her trust into Rylee. "Want me to surprise you with a drink as well?"
Rylee nods and Hex takes her hand off of hers. "In that case I know what to make. Just be patient."
With a smile from her girlfriend Hex gets right to work. First she puts more ice into the cocktail shaker so that it chills the thing. Afterwards she looks over the drinks and sees what her options are. Then, after remembering the orange and cranberry juice each still partly empty in the fridge, Hex gets an idea. The reaction alone would be worth it so with a snort Hex starts mixing. Since Rylee wants it more fruity, she pours in more of each juice to hopefully drown out the alcohol that will go in later. With the juice in the shaker Hex puts the juices back into the fridge and pulls out an orange.
"Rylee could you be a dear and peel this? I'd really appreciate it." Hex asks before lightly tossing the orange to the inkling.
She lets out a short chuckle as Rylee juggles the orange in her hands, clearly not expecting the sudden fruit. "I can do that sure."
River meanwhile gives the octo a knowing look as they take another sip of their drink. She knows what Hex is about to make. With amusement in their eyes and Rylee peeling an orange Hex carefully measures out the peach schnapps, vodka, and very small teaspoon of de cassis. Just enough to enhance the drink before putting it all into the shaker. Normally she would just shake it and be on her way but given what she made and how Rylee is going to react Hex figures she can have a little bit of fun with it. As she starts to shake it Hex gives a wink to Rylee, who has just finished peeling the orange and attempted to sneak a small slice. She blushes at this and it means Hex has her full attention. And so she decides to do a few shakes before doing a spin. Even this simple action was able to put a smile on Rylee's face and thus Hex keeps going and tosses the shaker into the air, doing a few spins before catching it. River rolls their eyes at the display but doesn't say anything as they take another small sip. Now with confidence (and feeling a smidge bit cocky) Hex does two more tosses into the air and does the final string of shakes before slamming the shaker onto the counter, pulls out a glass with some ice cubes, and then pours the cocktail into it.
"And served." Hex smirks as she slides the glass towards Rylee. Taking the orange from the inkling Hex pulls off a slice before sticking it in the drink to solidify the garnish the orange was meant to be. "Hope you enjoy it Rylee. I put my hardest into it."
The inkling giggles. "You certainly did that. So uh…" Taking the glass into her hand, the inklings' face scrunches up at the smell of the alcohol in the glass. Looking up from it Hex gives her a supportive look, and she sees River give the same look. With reassurance from her two partners Rylee prepares to take her first sip.
Hex chuckles as Rylee winced at the taste of the alcohol in it. "That's about what I expected. Did the juice water it down at the very least?"
The inkling hums as she takes another sip of the drink. "Yeah the juice helped a bit. So why this one in particular? Outside of the fruit of course."
"Well that's simple. See I have learned that surface people like to name their cocktails for whatever reason, more-so then back down there." Hex eyes the drink slowly being drank by her partner before continuing, "And this one was because of the name that I wanted to give it to you."
"What's the name?"
Hex gives Rylee a big grin as River lets out a soft chuckle, already caught on but wanted to see how it would play out.
"Sex on the Beach."
The inkling starts to choke on her drink before River gently pats her back. "What did you just say?"
"I told you. A Sex. On." The octoling leans close to her face, her face stretched even more, "The Beach."
She doesn't say any words as Rylee blushes a deep blue as a result of being told what the drink was called. You could almost see steam rise from her face, though River was keeping the inkling steady just in case she decided to lean back. After a few quick giggles from River does Rylee finally speak.
"Um… Yeah… T-Thank you Hex." Rylee says nervously.
"Not a problem Rylee." Hex leans back, grabbing another bottle and sliding it closer to her. "You don't have to but I'll be making more drinks throughout the night. So if you want to keep going I just want to make sure it's alright with you first. Ok?"
Rylee lets out a quiet hum and frowns for a moment. Knowing that she will need some time to think about it Hex faces River. "So want me to make you another one or are you good with that one for now?"
River laughs, downing the rest of their glass. "I can handle a few more. Give me a Bee's Knees. Use up that honey syrup you made."
"Can do. One of those coming right up."
With the order in Hex gets to work. She grabs the bottle of Gin, lemon juice, ice, and the remainder of the honey syrup before tossing it all into the shaker. There was a bit of extra Gin since she figured to make herself a glass as well before closing up the shaker and going ham with it. With Hex vigorously shaking it River grabs some glasses, one for themself, and another for any future drinks in case the inkling wants more drinks.
After 30 seconds of vigorous shaking Hex uncorks the shaker and strains the drink into the two glasses and peels a lemon to add the peel to the drink as garnish. The octoling smiles as she slides the glass to River before taking her own glass.
"Enjoy then. Has a little bit of extra honey. Because you're so sweet."
River giggles at the attempt at flirting, gesturing to the glass that Hex has. "Made one for yourself I see?"
"Yep. Figured if I'm gonna make cocktails may as well have a glass or two as well." Picking up her glass Hex brings it over to River, "To drinking?"
"Heh." River lifts up her own, clinking with the octos glass, "To date night."
Hex rolls her eyes before taking a gulp of her drink along with River. Once done with that they both put their glass down and the two laugh a little. "Even with the honey it was still a bit on the strong side."
River nods in agreement but doesn't stop from taking another sip, "Least you tried. I can certainly taste the honey and lemon in this. But then again we have all night if you wish to keep going."
Hex chuckles in amusement at this. She never would've thought that River of all people would be like this. Just as she was about to take one more big gulp from her glass she sees Rylee with one of the previously empty ones, pushing it closer to the octo. This action made the room fall silent, neither able to respond right away. Then, Rylee speaks.
"Um…" She mumbles, "I'd like a glass if you don't mind…"
Hex glances over at River, seeing their reaction to this. The inkling glances back, and then gives her a nod. Hex has been given permission. Checking what's left in the shaker Hex pours the remainder into the glass that Rylee pushed out before pushing it back to the shy inkling.
"Here ya go then." Hex says carefully. "No shame in not liking it. I won't get offended. Sometimes people just don't like alcohol."
Rylee hums at this as she takes the glass in both hands. The two wait in anticipation before Rylee starts to gulp the whole thing down before either one could stop her.
"Hey woah Rylee!"
"You didn't need to do that 'Lee!"
Regardless of the two's concern in almost no time flat the entire glass was emptied and the glass slammed down onto the counter. And almost immediately Rylee lets out a 'bleh' sound from drinking the cocktail. "Man you'd think it would be better the second time around but no…"
"Rylee, we typically don't drink the whole thing like you did. We do it slowly, to be classy." River says as they go back to taking a sip of theirs while Hex takes the glass away from Rylee. "What did you think of it at the very least? Tried my best to make it sweet and-"
That was when something clicked in her mind. The glass that she was given, that one contained the Sex on the Beach. And it was given to the octoling empty. That means either one of two things. Either A, took it elsewhere to pour it out after she took a sip but didn't want to be rude interrupting her work. Or B. Rylee actually drank it without issue or again, Hex didn't notice and Rylee felt confident in having another. The only way to know of course was to ask. "Hey Rylee?"
"Yeah?"
"Your other drink, the one I gave you." Hex says, pointing to the empty glass near Rylee, "Did you drink all of it and neither of us notice or did you slink away and dump it because you didn't want to be rude? I don't mind if you did, I was pretty busy with River and whatnot."
"N-No I drank it." Rylee blushes as Hex assumes it's from the name of the drink. Or being called out. "It was strong, wasn't used to it. But it was good! You make good drinks Hex."
Hearing Rylee say that made the octoling give her a gentle smile before pulling over another bottle. "Well like I said to River, I'll be making drinks throughout the night. If you want more I will gladly try my best to make them the way you like it. So what'll it be?"
"Anything you want." Rylee says, "I wanna see the best you can do."
Hex's smile turns into a confident smirk. "Oh you want my best? I'll give you my best little inkling. Watch, drink, and have fun."
The two inklings laugh as Hex gets to work making more shaken cocktails for her two partners. This night will be worth every moment to her, especially now that both of her partners are enjoying themselves.
------
It was a half hour in not counting the time before but Hex was having fun. Finally being able to make cocktails after not being able to for so long. She ended up making drink after drink, and everyone including herself drank them all up. Well. Almost everyone.
Hex looks over at Rylee, now visibly flushed in the face with her fourth glass empty beside her hand. She didn't expect for the inkling to have such a low tolerance and as a result she cut her off sooner. Though she wouldn't be surprised if River gave her a few sips of theirs. Glancing over at River she sees that they are laughing away at something, she wasn't sure what. Though as an observation Hex did notice that River when tipsy was an enabler. So as a result there might've been a few sips that River gave to Rylee when she wasn't looking. Once she found out she nipped it in the bud and sobered up enough to realize what they were doing before apologizing. Hex wasn't offended of course but she was amused at the normally 'uptight' inkling being more free with Rylee.
Speaking of the sizeshifter in question Hex was fortunate that she hasn't done anything like that yet. But there was that worry of Rylee eventually doing that. So digging into the pantry she pulls out some crackers and sweet bread, putting them in front of the inkling.
"Whaz this?" Rylee asks.
"Crackers and sweet bread." Hex responds, tapping the slice of bread, "Those should help you sober up a bit. Get some proper food that isn't just orange slices and alcohol. Sound good Rylee?"
Rylee stares silently at the crackers and bread. She then lets out a few giggles and starts shrinking down, keeping eyes on the food in front of her. This alarms the other two at the speed at which the inkling is shrinking down, amplified by how at around 3 feet tall Rylee decides to climb on the table.
"Hey what are you doing Rylee?" River asks in alarm as they see the inkling continue to shrink. The flushed girl giggles in response and points to the food that is growing bigger compared to the inkling.
"Hexy said that these will help me be sober." She says as she takes a stumbled step towards the plate of food much to her partners shared concern. "And I want to be sober!"
Shrinking down further Rylee reaches about 8 inches tall, but still some distance away from the plate. However due to her clouded mind she doesn't end up walking in the direction she wished to go, heading in the opposite direction of the plate. "Wherez the food? I want crackers!"
Swaying from side to side Hex and River watch as Rylee stumbles and looks for the plate, seeing that she has now shrunken down to 4 before finally stopping at 3 inches. River leans towards Hex, worry on her face. "We need to get a handle on Rylee before she hurts herself." They whisper to the octoling.
"You are right on that." Hex says, glancing over at the inkling who has now turned in a different direction. Still the wrong one but slightly better than before. "What do you propose we do?"
River scrunches their face in thought, the alcohol still slightly clouding her mind. "Maybe just grab her? Keep her in our hands for a bit until she settles down? Maybe that could work…"
It could. Though given that Rylee can still in fact sizeshift was a problem. If she could shrink willingly despite being intoxicated then her being able to grow is a much greater concern. However given the state of the inkling there is a chance that she could just pass right out in their hands because of the amount of energy tiny Rylee would give off. The two continue to think of ideas of how to keep their tiny squid safe, all while said tiny squid was giggling in the background still trying to find the right direction to the food. Though when River looks back at Rylee, it would seem that the tiny inkling is now doing a spin.
"Oh Rylee don't do that," River frets, "you'll make yourself sick if you do that." The inkling doesn't listen however, too busy spinning around and having fun. It wasn't long before Rylee stops, because as River predicted, it made her sick.
"Head hurty…" Rylee mumbles, stumbling towards the ledge, the spinning unknowingly bringing the inkling closer to the now sheer drop of the floor below. Both River and Hex look on in horror as Rylee starts to tip over the ledge. Her body was halfway over when River, in all of their tipsiness, manages to hyper focus on saving the tiny inkling from falling any further, bringing the inkling close to their chest.
"Don't ever do that again 'Lee!" River says as they keep a hold on Rylee, "You could have gotten seriously hurt if I wasn't here!" Bringing her up to their lips River starts bombarding the tiny in pecks much to the flustered tinys annoyance. Nonetheless River keeps smooching Rylee while Hex looks at the two in both amusement and a very small bit of envy.
"Ugh… Might be the alcohol talking, but-" Hex hops off the chair she was on and steps towards the two inklings. "Come on River, you need to share."
Hearing Hex say that River cups their hands and gives the octoling a not really harsh glare. "No. My Rylee. My tiny."
They give Rylee another quick smooch on the side as Hex rolls her eyes. "I know you like small Rylee but you know what else would be nice for you to have?"
Hex closes the distance and gives River a sultry expression before caressing the inklings cheek, "Me~ So how about it? Willing to share now?"
River thinks it over, placing a hand on Hex's face and looks up at her before releasinga hand that was holding Rylee to cup the octolings' waist, still keeping the tiny level with her own cheek, "You know… Maybe I can share for a little bit." The two prepare to close the gap between their lips when the tiny Rylee squirms in the hold.
"Neeeeeh! I want out! River!" The two chuckle, leaving Rylee to her devices as the two lock lips. The combination of River loosening their hand and the kiss occupying the couple's attention, Rylee uses this as an opportunity for escape. As in, she in all if her drunken wisdom, grows out of their hand. Due to the haziness of Rylee's mind she doesn't realize how fast she is growing and as a result her shoulder very quickly clonks River in the jaw, causing the couple to stumble back, Hex being one of surprise at being pushed back by the growing inkling, River being one of pain because getting clocked in the jaw by a rapidly growing inkling isn't the greatest feeling one can have.
"Thhhhh… Ow. Almost got my tongue there…" River seethes, rubbing their jaw. River and Hex were about to tell Rylee off when they actually look at her. Or rather, the slightly exposed chubby belly of the inkling. And how instead of a normally 5'8 inkling they were fact to tummy with a 8'9 inkling that is still very much tipsy and flustered. River blushes at this, clearly was not expecting the exposure of their partners tummy right in front of them.
"Ooooh hmm…" River mumbles. Hex knows about their like of Rylee's tummy and has asked if River was into more chubby girls. River denied it but Hex knew and snickered in response to the denial. She herself was more neutral towards it but could at least appreciate it every now and then. Right now however? A large intoxicated inkling was not what the octo wants to deal with. While River was staring longingly at the squishy belly in front of them Hex carefully looks up at the now taller Rylee.
"Heeeey…" Hex slowly starts, "Are you ok Rylee? You seem to be a bit um, bigger than your usual. Something going on or…"
Rylee doesn't respond back at first which worries Hex a little. Then the tall inkling glances down at the two and smiles. "I am big. Right?" Hex slowly nods, wondering where Rylee was going with this. "Then because I am big that I can put more in me. We can go out and get even more drinks! I'll drink so much it'll be fun!"
Hex's eyes widen at this absolutely terrible idea from the taller inkling, not helped that Rylee quickly grabs her cocktail shaker, having some Gin and Vodka for another drink she was going to be for her and River. "Rylee don't-" Due to the height difference Hex couldn't reach for the shaker in time as Rylee unscrews the cap, and downs the contents of the shaker, ice and all. Hex looks in horror as Rylee chews on the ice inside like it was nothing. The ice gets crunched inside her mouth quickly before Rylee swallows it all, letting out a small burp that Hex can see the cold icy air of as a result of how cold the contents of the shaker were.
Seeing that makes Hex feel almost impressed at the amount that Rylee drank in that shaker, while also being weirdly into the large inkling letting out the icy belch after the fact. She chalks it up to her current alcoholic state before looking at the now 8'9 inkling in front of her and properly processing what she said. "Um I don't think going out is such a good idea."
Rylee scoffs and gives Hex a cheeky smile. "Oh come on Hexy." She gestures over to the door, making hand waves towards it. "I wanna party! I wanna hangout with my pretty partners in public! I wanna- I wanna-" She slows down as she lists off the things she wants to do before taking a step towards the door. "We're going out to get more drinks! Pretty ladies, lets go!"
Hex looks on as Rylee makes her way towards the door, her longer legs closing the gap between the door and herself. River, now out of their enamored stupor at seeing exposed chubby belly, reaches for Rylee's arm and grabs it. "No 'Lee, you are *staying here! Hex help me out!"
Hex rushes in to help her partner by grabbing the other arm of the inkling before wrapping her leg around Rylee's in hopes of putting some weight on it. With both of them now grabbing onto the 8'9 inkling the two try to pull her back to make her stay in the house.
"Hrrrn" They both grunt as they shuffle back away from the door, making very slow progress as they made Rylee take two steps away from the door. As the two feel proud of their brief success Rylee looks down at the two with a faint glare. "You two are being rude. Let-"
"Go!"
With newfound strength, not to mention a height increase, the now 12 foot tall Rylee is freed of her partners. Looking down at the two she sticks her tongue out at them. "Neeh! Good night you two! Enjoy your night and don't stop me!" The two look on in horror as Rylee rips the door off its hinges from her newfound strength before leaving the house. Though not before gingerly putting the door back in place.
As Rylee walks away from the house as seen through the sides of the now off door, River grunts as they push themself off the floor. "Ooooww… I should've expected that but still…" Now off the floor River helps Hex up before looking at the broken door with concern. "We have to get Rylee back here. I don't want people to see her and be scared."
Hex rolls her shoulders to loosen them up after taking the tumble to the floor. "Easier said than done. We couldn't hold her back and now Rylee's 12 feet tall with a good chance of growing larger. She's too strong for either of us to hold back."
As much as River hated to admit it, Hex was right. Rylee was strong when her size increased and there was no possible way they were going to drag a 12 foot inkling back home. "What do you suggest then?"
Not responding at first Hex goes over to the broken and cracked door and moves it out of the way. "We follow her and lead Rylee around. She is not exactly reasonable like this so the most we can do is do damage control. If she drinks then she drinks, but after she's done we lead her back home, or at least somewhere out of sight if the worst happens."
"What about the lights?" River asked as they leave the house.
Hex moves the door back into place and takes off with River following closely beside the octo. "At her size she might take out a few powerlines. The darkness should be able to cover her then if that does take out the power, even just for a few blocks." Seeing Rylee ahead of the two they do their best to close the gap, tricky due to the longer legs of the 12 foot inkling. "It's not the best plan I know, but its all I got. All that matters is keeping our lovable idiot safe."
River gives their partner a small side smile at this. "Heh. Let's do that then. We'll take her around the city and tire her out with drinks and maybe even some food if she's hungry. Keep out lovable idiot safe and entertained."
The inkling smiles at words Hex said before facing towards the back of Rylee's legs (though there was a brief moment where Hex saw the eyes drift upwards to her butt) before the two catch up beside the 12 foot inkling. Rylee notices the two and tries to play it off, drunk as she was. "Oh look who came crawling b-back! Are you going to shtop me again?"
From Hex's view it seemed that the stuff Rylee drank back at the house is starting to take a greater effect in addition to the rest of the drinks she took beforehand. Though given the low tolerance the inkling seemingly had in the first place that was hard to say. Seeing that the tall girl wanted an answer Hex decides to play it cool. "Well we're here to apologize of course. We were being a bit well, rude as you said. We only did it out of concern for you but then we realized that hey, you're a big girl who can make big girl decisions. So River and I-" Hex wraps an arm around Rylee's leg, while gesturing her partner to do something similar, "Have decided to accompany you! We know good locations for you to go right Rivi?"
"Y-Yeah that's right!" They stumble over their words as she gives a playful light punch to the thigh. "You don't really know where to go for drinks do you?"
Hex can see Rylee trying to refute the claim but fortunately for the both of them, the sizeshifter is too fuzzy minded to piece together anyplace specific. "Doh… You right Rivi, I don't know where anything is right now. Not with my head the way it is…" Rylee looks down at her partners before making a grab for each of their hands, her massive ones clasping the smaller hands. Even if said hands are almost about a quarter of their arms in size. "Then we go then! A date, just the three of us and drinking! Lllllead the way then!" Lead got slurred but now that the two of them have Rylee's trust and attention they start making their way through Inkopolis.
As they do so it was rather fortunate that Rylee would follow the two quite literally everywhere. River and Hex took advantage of this by leading the 12 foot girl through the alleyways of the city to avoid the people still milling about under the pretext of 'taking a shortcut to the nearest bar.' Granted that's what they were doing, even if it was a roundabout way of achieving that due to Rylee's bigger than normal size. Ducking and weaving through the dark alleys paid off for the two still kind of sober partners as they approach a small open lot with backdoors to various buildings nearby.
"Ok," Hex says pointing at one of the doors, "I've been around the front of this area so I know which place it is. Now this is a dumb, stupid idea but our options are slim."
"What are you going to do?" Rover asks.
Rylee speaks up first before the octo could say anything, "Hexy is going to steal from the bar yahoo! Go girl, steal me drinks!"
River smacks Rylee's leg, which was enough to lower the 12 foot inkling so that she can cover up the mini-giants' mouth. "No she is not going to steal the drinks! Isn't that right Hex?"
Hex doesn't say anything at first. Which worries River. "You aren't going to steal anything, right?"
"Not technically?" Hex hesitantly says. "The plan is for me to go in through the back, pretend that I am working there, and then take one of the big kegs, smaller one if I have to, and then piss off before they even know I'm gone."
"Hex!" River hisses, "That is a terrible idea! Rylee being out here is already bad enough but you stealing? I do not want to pay for your bail and have to cover for Rylee if you get caught!"
"That's why I intend to be quick about it." The octoling says, starting her approach to the door. "You two just hide around the corner or something, and let me work my magic. I'll be in and out in no time and Rylee can have her beer. Win-win for everyone."
River lets out a groan at the plan laid out in front of them. Hex knows that they are strictly against this but also know that unless either of them can convince Rylee to shrink down, they don't exactly have a whole lot of options outside of outright buying a keg. "Fine. Fine! Go do a crime. But if you get caught you're on your own alright?"
"Deal." Hex hops towards River before giving them a kiss on the cheek. "I'll be careful. Promise."
The inkling rubs their cheek for a second, the faintest blush appearing on their cheeks. "Just be quick about it."
Hex gives River a thumbs up before approaching the backdoor of the bar. Giving it a quick jiggle she finds that it is unlocked, looks to the two inklings with an 'ok' sign before carefully opening the door to let herself inside. With her hands still on the handle Hex closes the door without much noise being made and takes a glance around. Given the time of night right now she was slightly surprised that the place was still open but shakes off the feeling and walks forward. While the surface has buildings with a different layout, the core principle of storing alcohol should be the same; In a room with moderate temperature so that it doesn't go bad.
As Hex was stealthing around the back of the bar she hears someone coming. She ducks into a side room and waits it out beside the door frame. Once she is certain that whoever was walking had disappeared Hex lets out some air. Before she could continue with her goal though someone clears their throat beside the octoling.
"Can I help you miss?"
Hex freezes up at the sound of the voice. She turns her head to see an inkling with odd looking hair raising an eyebrow at her. Internally Hex is racking her brain as the person is waiting for a response. Then, she gets one. "Oh me? I'm the uh new hire. I was told to come here this late at night by the big man himself. I came in late sorry hehe…" Hex doesn't like playing the ditz, it goes against everything she is. But its how she might get herself out of this situation so this octoling alas has to play along until she gets the keg out of here and to Rylee.
The strange-tentacled inkling narrows his eyes at the response, analyzing her. He then blinks and lets out a sigh. "Alright I guess. I would've been told about a new hire but I just never know what goes through that old mans' head…" He backs off from Hex and gestures to a door, "In that case you can do inventory here. I'll check back on you in a few minutes ok?"
Hex nods, straining a smile, "Oh sure absolutely! I can certainly do that. It will be done in no time!" The guy lets out some air before walking off. Once he was properly out of sight Hex lets out some air herself. "Oh Cods I hated that…" She looks to the door that the guy gestured towards, opening it up to see all sorts of alcohol within. From wines, to hard liquors, and even a few kegs. "On the bright side however…"
Hex smiles as she looks over all of the drinks in stock. She knows she can't take too many, don't have the space to carry them, so she opts to look at the kegs instead. As she expected the sizes were what she was used to back home, though there were a few other sizes that were much bigger than what there was back home. "Jeez do people really need to make this much?"
She shakes the thought off and goes back to looking at kegs. Eventually she finds one of the smaller ones, and upon a quick lift felt that it was only about 18 pounds. Hex smiles at this, since that roughly meant about 20-21 drinks in total. With that out of the way Hex lifts up the keg and heads towards the door. She stops after a few steps and remembers something else with these kegs.
"Shit…" Hex grumbles, "Gonna need a barrel tap… Can't exactly just feed metal to Rylee…" From her look-through of the cabinet there wasn't a barrel tap in the room. Because why would there be. Taking a deep breath Hex moves the keg beside the door so that she can quickly grab it once she finds the tap. Opening the door a crack Hex looks around to see if anyone is approaching, to which thankfully there wasn't. Stepping out and quietly closing the door Hex makes her way towards the front end of the building, towards the bar itself. The person she saw before wasn't there so that made her feel more at ease. Sneaking up to the counter she kneels and starts her search for a barrel tap, carefully moving things around as to not draw any attention.
It was not long before Hex found it, letting out a small 'yes' as she does so. Grabbing it she stands up and is about to go get that keg she set aside, when she sees someone else down the hall. And it wasn't the person she saw earlier either. From where she was standing the man was short, though not by much. Any further details she can't make out at the moment but she does have a guess as to who this could be.
'Probably that boss the guy mentioned…' Hex stuffs the barrel tap behind her back, tucking it in the shirt and walks forward. She can only hope that they don't pay too much attention to her as she goes back to do 'inventory' in the room. That was when the person looked at her, and Hex could see that the man was older. Not DJ Octavio old, but still fairly old in comparison. With a smile he approaches Hex, and despite being an old man Hex felt a fight or flight response, primarily leaning towards the 'flight' side of things. Before she knew it he was standing in front of her, tilting his head up at the octoling.
"Hmm?" He hummed, "And who are you exactly? Don't think I've seen you before."
Hex felt like she was sweating bullets but she couldn't let him know that. "I'm a new hire. Your um, employee brought me on for training. He told me to do inventory in that room you're standing in front of."
"Did he now?" He asked, smiling up at her. "Well then I better not get in your way now should I?" He chuckles and walks past Hex. Though not before he puts a hand on her leg and drifts it by and Hex's instincts kick in, jutting her body away from him.
"Hey!"
Hex turns her head to glare at the old man, who has the audacity to laugh at this. "I am very sorry Miss. It has been awhile since I've seen an octoling with a rump quite like that one."
Too embarrassed to come up with a response at this and not paying too much attention to why he did that Hex flips him the finger. "I think after this I'll just head home. Seems like this job isn't for me."
The old inkling nods before taking a step back. "I do not blame you for that. I wouldn't want to work with someone who did that either. Carry on then with your inventory." He turns around and walks down the building. Once he was a fair distance away Hex huffs and enters the cabinet once again.
"Stupid old men." She grumbles, "Grabbing my ass like that…" Letting out one more grumble she takes a look at the keg she is about to steal, picking it up with one arm. With the pump still attached to her back Hex opens the door, seeing no one was around before making her escape out the same door she came in.
Upon exiting she sees River and Rylee sitting together outside, though at some point it would seem that River grew a bit as well, around 7 and a half feet tall by her guess. Hex lets out a chuckle and approaches the two inklings, "Hey come on you two, gonna leave me out of the height stuff before I even got the drinks?"
They both turn to look at Hex, River with relief and Rylee with a drunken smile. "Yaaaaay! More drinks!"
River gives a shush to the 12 foot inkling and rubs their neck. "Sorry Hex. I tried keeping her busy but one thing lead to another and she held onto me and made me grow by a bit before I finally could get out of her vice grip." They look down at the keg that Hex is holding in her hand before furrowing their brows. "I see you got the keg. Joy. What kind did you get?"
Hex hums as she places the keg down on the ground and kneels. She sees the shipping tag still attached to it and reads it out loud. "Hmm. Seems to be a Honey Brown. Lager. Has a bit of a honey flavour and a sweet finish. Good enough our purposes."
River lets out a huff before down at Hex. "We can manage. And I take you also got a way for us to you know, get the stuff out?"
The octo nods, pulling out the beer pump from behind her back. "Now all we really need to do is find a place where we can go hide out. We clearly can't drink it out here."
"Right…"
River grumbles at this before going into thought. They look up at Rylee, who is staring up at the night sky, not paying attention to anything at all. They think of all of the places where they could go, with the requirements being secluded, and unlikely to have people around. There weren't exactly a lot of places that fit the criteria really.
Their thinking was interrupted by Rylee mumbling something. "Not now 'Lee. We're trying to figure out where we can go to hide you."
Rylee didn't appreciate being ignored however so she nudges River over with an arm. "Snappy snappy Rivi… Make you smaaaaall if you do that again."
Just as River was about to snap back at the drunken threat Hex stops them, grabbing their wrist and getting them to look down at her. "What is it Hex? Right now I am this close to telling her off, drunken state or not."
"I get that." Hex said, "But its thanks to Rylee that I figured out where we can go." River's expression changes from annoyance to mild curiosity at this. "Snapper Canal. It's not in rotation anymore, so we can just go there and let Rylee drink to her hearts content. And in case if she gets any bigger then at least she has the space to do so. I know we can't exactly do that but ideally we can try." Hex points up to Rylee, who is chuckling at the 'threat' she gave out to River, "What do you say? Sound like a plan?"
The inkling looks between the shorter octoling on the ground and the taller inkling giggling beside them. Realizing that there's not exactly many places they can hide a 12 foot inkling effectively they let out a sharp breath of air. "Fine. We'll go to Snapper Canal. Does that sound good Rylee? Going to the canal? You'll get your drinks there~"
Rylee perks up at this, standing up to her full 12 foot height, "Then letz go! Party time with my ladies near water!" Her expression changes, looking a bit sad. "What if one of us trips and falls into the water though? Then we'll be all wet…"
Hex reassures the concerned inkling by tapping her leg. "No one is going to be going into the canal. I can assure that."
Even if the words were weak it made Rylee happy enough to believe her. "Ok… W-We go now then?"
"Yes Rylee," Hex says with a smile, hoisting up the keg, "We go now." She looks at River and holds the comparatively small keg tap to them. "It's only fair that you carry this. I'm the one having to lug a 18 pound keg around for who knows how long until we get to the canal. So you can keep the one keg tap we need in order to use this thing safe."
River frowns before taking the tap from Hex. Satisfied with this the octo gestures River to lead the way, to which they do while she gestures Rylee to follow them. Much like the way to the bar it was mostly hiding behind alleyways and avoiding eye contact with anyone still awake. They both wince when the 12 foot inkling knocks a motorcycle down with her foot, giving it a massive scrape on it and quickly move her out of sight before anyone notices. River did their best to keep Rylee occupied despite the now dwindling height increase of theirs before returning to their normal 5'10 height. Hex was secretly glad that they weren't taller than her anymore though she knows that as long as Rylee is around that could change fast. Shaking it off they keep moving, still holding the heavy keg.
------
It took awhile to get there, not helping by all of the stumbling Rylee is doing and being distracted by the little things, but the three finally make it to the top of Snapper Canal. Hex's arms were feeling sore from having to lug around an 18 pound keg around for ages and she was happy to finally have a place to rest. Just as she is about to put down the keg, River steps down onto the lower path and keeps going, gesturing Rylee to come closer. Letting out a sigh Hex lifts up the keg and follows suit, though unlike the trip getting to the Canal it was significantly easier to get down into the now abandoned stage. The three go down the slopes of the canal until they reach the very middle, there the old water hazards are now gated off.
"Guess they're planning to seal these off?" Hex says with a grunt, putting the keg down beside the middle platform.
"Doubtful." River says as they watch Rylee make herself comfortable. "This place has been under construction for over 20 years, I doubt they're going to do any meaningful work now."
While Hex did vaguely remember something about the construction, the idea of an unfinished 20 year project made her feel irritated at how lazy the surface can get sometimes before shaking it off. "If you say so Rivi…"
River hands the keg tap to the octoling, who proceeds to set it up by first placing the tap onto the keg and locking it into place. Hex checks it for a moment before smiling and looking up at Rylee, "We're in business. Get yourself ready and I'll pour it into your mouth."
Rylee squees at this, finally no longer denied her drink. She trips on the step to go up before laying down on the ground and drunkenly looks to Hex and River, "Give me sustenance!" Before opening her mouth.
Not willing to argue that alcohol is in fact, not sustenance, Hex drags the keg closer to the 12 foot inkling and gives the tap a few pumps before holding it over Rylee's big mouth. "You sure you're ready for this?" River asks, placing a hand on her belly.
Rylee nods, brushing off River's concern and Hex takes a breath before activating the nozzle, the copper colouration of the beer pouring into the giants' mouth. It fills up the inside of the large mouth and as the nozzle lost pressure there was worry that this keg might not be enough for Rylee given her increased size. She gives it a few pump again and keeps going, the pool in her mouth growing deeper. Once the tap loses pressure again does Rylee close her mouth and swallow the liquid, licking her lips as she does so.
"Shanks Hexie." Rylee slurs, "Keep it going I-I'm not, not done yet." Hex furrows her brows, giving the keg a quick jostle. Feeling lighter than before Hex looks to Rylee, then at River, who gives her a reassuring nod. With permission granted Hex adds more pressure to the tap, allowing the beer to spray into the inklings maw. With more of the drink pouring into Rylee, they watch as once again her mouth fills with the copper drink, while smelling faintly of honey. It wasn't long before the inkling swallows again, letting out a small hiccup as she did so.
As Rylee giggles at having downed the majority of the keg Hex gives it one last shake, confirming that yes the inkling did drink that much on her own from the keg, and will finish it off by the next big gulp. She tightens her lips and glances at River, who looks equally as worried. Despite this however they also kow that Rylee is likely unable to be stopped, least she does something she may regret. And while it was only a drunken threat, the idea of being shrunken down by an inkling with no perceivable limit of what is 'small' for her is not something neither of them want to chance.
Hex clears her throat and looks to the flushed giant inkling. "Ok Rylee this is the last little bit. This keg didn't have much in it so you will be finishing it off. Are you sure you want to keep going?"
The two knew that Rylee wouldn't say no, not in her state. That doesn't mean there was even just the slimmest of chances that the 12 foot inkling would have a moment of drunken clarity and stop drinking. Alas those hopes were dashed once Rylee giggles and brushes a large finger against Hex's cheek.
"Heheh, you're funny Hexie." She says with amusement, "H-Hit me up girl! F-Finish the kig! Pour it in!"
Letting out air through her nose Hex removes Rylee's finger and starts pumping the keg tap once more. "Ok then, open wide. This will be the final stream."
Rylee smiles and opens her mouth, allowing Hex to pour the last remains of the keg into Rylee's mouth. After a few more pumps she noticed that she must've did it a bit too much, as it was foaming up inside her mouth. This didn't seem to bother the giant inkling however, chugging it down like there was no tomorrow despite the foam slightly overflowing down her cheek. It was with the final stream that it died down and even after pumping it more nothing came out. Hex pulls the nozzle away and 'congratulates' the inkling.
"Good job Rylee." Hex dryly says as she picks up the now empty keg and jostled it, little sound being heard from it. "You alone chugged down a keg meant for small gatherings. I hope you're proud of yourself."
The inkling however didn't get the memo, nor Hex's dry tone, instead looking happy at the octo. "It'z greeeeaat right? I- I out drank all of you! Go meeeeeeee…"
Rylee giggles at her perceived victory over her partners. River steps beside her and gestures to the middle platform. She nods and the two look at the drunk 12 foot inkling before going around the corner. River lets out a puff of air and pinches their temples. "We need to deal with this."
"Yep." Hex said, "Trust me, I know. I am open to ideas though." She looks and sees Rylee, face now scrunched up before facing River again. "I just hope that Rylee is alright with going home now. She had her fun."
"Easier said than done." River says as they take a look now, seeing that Rylee is now shorter than before. Still taller than Hex but isn't 12 feet tall anymore. "Keep an eye on her, Rylee's shrinking at the moment. What do you propose we do? Just tell her that it's time to go home?"
"Yeah pretty much." Hex takes a chance to look at Rylee again, who is sitting cross-legged. Unlike what River said prior instead of Rylee being shorter than 12 feet, now she's reaching 16. "Seems her drunken mind is trying to decide between being tall or small. And yes I do think that we should just ask if we can go home now. She's trusted us so far."
"That's part of the issue Hex." Another peek at the drunk inkling. Now Rylee is 4 feet tall. Better but still a concern given the circumstances. "It was a fight just trying to keep her in the house. How do you propose we get her home now?"
Hex feels her face tense up. River has her there. They lost trying to keep Rylee inside and now that they're outside it'll be even harder to do so. "I… I don't know ok? I'm lost on what to do."
She rubs her face, fingers pressing into her eyes. "I shouldn't have made those cocktails. Of I didn't then-"
"Shhhhh." River places a finger on her lips, "Don't blame yourself for this. Neither of us were expecting Rylee to drink as much as she did, nor that she has a comically low tolerance of alcohol. The best we can do now is damage control."
The words said by River made Hex feel a bit better. She gives them a quick hug before pulling away. "Heh look at me being sappy. Guess the buzz is still got me in a hold. Not as bad Rylee though."
She looks at the spot where Rylee should have been and immediately feels fear at this. "River? Where did she go?"
"Um-"
Suddenly Hex feels hands grab her butt, giving each cheek a small squeeze. Hex flushes at the action, and looks behind her to see the missing inkling in question, now about 3 feet tall with her equally small hands pressing against her butt.
"Soft…" Rylee mumbles as she kneads the two cheeks. "Soft bwutt. My butt."
Hex hears River giggle at the display, turning her head to give them a small flustered glare. Not that it makes the sight any less funny. She turns her head to look at Rylee again, feeling the inklings' cheek pressed against her own as the short girl attempts to hug her lower half. "Why doth they have to be behind shorts? They should be free…"
Seeing that Rylee is 'upset' about this Hex gives Rylee a few pats on the head. "There there… It's ok? Maybe one day you'll see them being free?"
It was weak and both of them knew it. It made Rylee happy at the very least and for now that means she stays within vicinity of the two. Rylee takes her cheek off and uses her hands again to knead the shorts covered ass. That was when Hex heard something being crumpled in her pocket. It felt uncomfortable now that she actually noticed that something was in her pocket in the first place. With Rylee touching and hugging her butt though she couldn't exactly check for what it was in the first place.
Annoyed by the crumpling of whatever is in her pocket but unable to do anything about it Hex keeps the drunk short inkling close to her butt, giving her a few pats on the head to reassure her. After a few agonizing minutes for Hex does Rylee finally let go of her butt and stumbled a few steps back all while there is a goofy smile on her face. Hex is relieved at this, if only for the heat on her face can finally die down. She readjusts her shorts and makes the crumpled thing in her pocket just a little bit more manageable as River holds out a phone.
"This'll be something funny to look back at in the future." River says with mirth. Hex however does not appreciate having what is likely a picture of Rylee hugging her ass on their partners' phone, making a swipe at it. River nimbly moves her hand out of the way and does it two more times when Hex made attempts at the phone. "Oh come on Hexie it's not that bad is it? I thought it was cute having Rylee hug you like that. You snrt certainly got the cushion for it!"
Hex glares at the inkling, making another swipe for the phone to no avail. River goes to move the phone out of the way again when they nice something, slowing their arm down. Using this opportunity Hex makes a grab for the device and succeeds. Hex started fiddling with the phone trying to figure out the password when she heard a gong sound behind her, causing to turn around.
"Oh no."
Hex sees in front of her a grown, 35 foot tall inkling rubbing her head before stumbling out from under the bridge. "Ouchie…"
River responds first, snatching the phone from out of Hex's hands as they run past her and hops up the ledge. "Rylee! What are you doing?!" Hex follows suit, not even annoyed about the phone being taken away from her and is more concerned about the 35 foot inkling that judging by her shoe pushing outwards is still making herself grow.
"I-" Rylee hiccups as she continues to grow in size, "I'm getting big! I wanna tower over this bridge!" The drunk inkling goes through another spurt of growth, making her 40 feet in size. "Big girl is what I am!"
River winces at the volume Rylee is talking and does her best to make the growing giant more quiet. "Shhhhhh! Rylee you're being too loud! You can't be talking at the volume you're at, people will hear you!"
"D-Don't worry about it Rivi" Rylee stumbles over, foot catching onto one of the platforms. Despite her condition she managed to stay upright given the layout of the canal. "I'll be fine. T-Trusht me." As she says this the now 45 foot inkling faces the ledge of the canal and takes a large step towards it. She surges another 5 feet, making her 50 feet total once she steps out of the canal. "See? T- hiccup Told you I be fine."
The two still down at the center of the canal however don't agree with the drunken inkling. They look at each other, nod, switch to their respective swim forms and super jump out of the canal, landing on Rylee's big shoe. Hex slides off faster and looks up to Rylee. "Rylee this needs to stop, now. I'm serious girl."
Rylee blinks and looks down at the octoling talking to her. River follows suit and points a finger at her, "Hex is right Rylee. It's time to slow down and stop. Lets just go home and sleep this off. We can do some drunken cuddles or whatever. Just please Rylee. Listen to us."
The 50 foot giant looks down at the two by her foot. Then the two watch as her face slowly shifts to annoyance. "No."
"No?!" They both exclaim.
"No." Rylee asserts, crossing her arms. "You don't tell me what to do. I'm big. And I can get even bigger." And to demonstrate that she could the inkling surges with more growth, her foot shoving the two aside as a result. They look up as she gets larger before stopping. "There! 60 feet now so take that you tinies. Can't tell me what to do…"
Content with her newfound (and slightly spiteful) size Rylee takes a step forward, shaking the ground beneath the two as the giant leaves the two shaking from the footsteps. The two watch as with every step Rylee gets further and further away from them, knowing that on foot they would be unable to catch up. Not with the inkling as she is now anyway. Nonetheless they both know they have to try, mustering the will to start running after her even if she does keep getting farther with each step. They run easily three blocks and yet Rylee is no closer to them despite their best efforts.
Hex groans as she stops to catch her breath, River stopping to do the same. "Ugh… We're never going to catch up to her. She's just too big, each step she takes makes more distance between us. At this rate-" Hex rubs her face in frustration as she breathes. "I'd be happy for ideas right about now…"
She doesn't hear anything from River for a moment, leaving her to assume that they are trying to think of something either of them can do. When Hex looks up however she finds that the inkling is not right beside her. "Wha- Where did they-"
Hex looks before hearing a small hum from nearby. Though when she turns to look it wasn't from River humming beside her as they thought of a plan. It was the electric hum of an electric scooter that the inkling is currently riding, with another one being carried alongside. River gives her a smile as they place the scooter beside the octo. "Let's get going then. Don't know how much power these things have but hopefully there's enough juice to make it to Rylee."
"Here's hoping." Hex hops on the scooter, leaving the helmet attached untouched. She notes that River, normally a stickler for that sort of thing, isn't wearing hers either. She doesn't say anything about it however, as it would be pointless. There are more concerning things then whether or not a helmet is being worn. Looking at each other they give their partner a nod before driving the scooter towards the giant inkling. While they weren't terribly fast, the speed is enough to at least help bridge the gap between themselves and the drunken giant up ahead.
"Hey Riv?" Hex asks, narrowing her eyes towards something up ahead, seeing that Rylee is stumbling towards it.
"Yeah what is it?"
"Isn't that-" The octo points to a building up ahead, with large structures and a fence with barbed wire around the top of it, "Isn't that one of the power generators to the city?"
"Uhhh-" River looks over to where Hex is looking, seeing the same area she is. Their eyes widen in realization, head snapping over to the 60 foot inkling. Who has not noticed the building ahead of her in anyway whatsoever. "Yep that's the power to the city alright! Come on we need to catch up to Rylee, fast."
Hex nods, revving up the little scooter more to make it go faster. Or at least attempt to anyway. She looks around the neighbourhood, grumbling at not seeing any visible shortcuts. "Nowhere else to go! We have to stay on course!" Her partner nods and follows suit, trying to make it to the power building as fast as possible before Rylee does.
Despite their vigilance on staying on the road the footsteps of the giant were too much for the two to feasibility catch up to her. As they approach the power plant they see Rylee, still unable to process what is in front of her, stop just close enough to the barbed fence. At first they both hoped that Rylee was cognitive enough to at the very least step around the power plant but those hopes were quickly dashed as the 60 foot giant moves to take another step, her foot catches on the fence. They both look in horror as they hear Rylee utter an 'urp' before the loud sound of metal being crushed echoes out in the night. And instantly the two watch as the streetlights closest blink out instantly and the ones going further and further away blink out as well. The neighbourhood falls into darkness, and the two look at the power plant where they still see the large form of Rylee.
"Lets check her out." River says, shaking the feeling of dread of technically being apart of all this unintentional destruction, "I can't imagine all that electricity is good for her."
Hex slowly nods, driving the scooter closer to the plant. As they get closer they see to both to their relief and to their concern that Rylee is not only fine, but also getting her footing back. Hex's eyes, now adjusted to the darkness, sees that on Rylee's knee was the broken remains of the power generators scattered onto them. Due to the dark she wasn't able to tell if there was any bleeding, much less any puncture in the clothing though judging by Rylee's near nonchalance of them it makes her wonder if at that size Rylee's skin is thick enough to take it. Or if she's too drunk to register the pain.
As they are less than a block away from the plant they see Rylee stand back up to her full height and looks down at the damage. "Ehhhssstupid building. Who plazes buildings here? I'm-" Rylee holds something back in her throat before continuing, "I'm walking here!"
And with that Rylee, out of perceived spite towards an inanimate object doing its job, she stomps on another few generators before continuing her walk. This time they see Rylee walking towards the direction of Inkopolis Plaza. "Das it. I'll put on a lil' show for everyone. T-Tower you will be mine." She lets out a giggle as she takes a few steps towards the city. Hex watches Rylee stumble off as she turns and sees River trying to rip her tentacles out in frustration. The octoling does her best to reassure her partner by patting them on the back.
"Look on the bright side," Hex tries to say, "Least I don't think she'll go any further than that." The question of what Rylee meant by 'show' was another thing to tuck away for Hex for the next few minutes until it becomes relevant in the near future. The reassurance seemed to work at the very least, River nodding their head.
"Let's go bring our idiot back to reality."
With the two coming together for their shared goal they rev up their scooters and follow the giant towards the city. They see the damages of the drunken steps of the giant inkling, from crushed bike racks with bikes turned into contorted bent pieces of metal, tipped over power poles with barely any power going through them, and even a crushed car or two, damaged to the point where the alarm wasn't able to go off due to how flattened they were. They go through the city, avoiding the powerlines that have fallen to the ground in case they were still active, still seeing further damage as they follow Rylee closer and closer to the area River recognizes as Inkopolis Plaza.
"Oooooooh…" River says, seeing the tower in the distance. "I think I know what she's going for."
"You do?" Hex questions, swerving out of the way of a crumpled bike in the middle of the road.
"Yeah." River points over to the tower. "I think Rylee is going to attempt to drunkenly pull out the tower out from the foundation."
Hex blinks at this. "Rip it out. As if the mega structure that holds the lobby and 90% of the records for turf players in addition to being a tourist destination. That tower."
River narrows her eyes and gives the octoling a judging look, "Yeah it could happen!"
"River you're tipsy not blackout drunk. That can't happen." Hex said as they approach closer to the Plaza. "I think she wants to be an idol and pretend she is doing the Splatcast news."
The other inkling stares dumbfounded at this. "That sounds stupid. She has no interest in being an idol."
Hex lifts up a finger to stop her partner there, "But what about drunk Rylee? Would she like to be an idol? Able to be loved and not feared for her sizeshifting?"
Despite opening their mouth to retort to this idea River finds themself unable to really counter the idea. Has Rylee thought about being an idol before? Because Hex does have a point, being an idol would help a lot in that department. "I- I don't know. Rylee never talked about being an idol before so."
"We can ask her when she's sober again. For now-" Hex revs the little scooter and pushes ahead a bit, "We have things to do."
River nods, getting their bearings back as they approach the giant, who they see is standing in the center of the Plaza, looking up at the tower. Because of the lack of lights they weren't able to see what expression was present on Rylee's face but they imagine it to be one of drunken excitement. Since the giant was simply looking at the tower the two were less than a block away from the Plaza and slow down their scooters a little as to not provoke their drunk girlfriend. Right as they approach however Rylee takes a step forward towards the tower, arms outstretched towards it.
Unable to stop her without drawing attention to both themselves and to the city they watch as Rylee grabs the tower, to which River looks at Hex smugly at how their theory would be proven correct. However that smug expression fades as instead of attempting to pull out the tower, or attempt to cosplay as an idol, they see Rylee climb the roughly 150 foot structure, reaching the middle part in almost no time flat. This concerned the two but they kept watching, waiting to see what Rylee would do next.
Once the giant was able to reach the very tip of the tower with a hand she starts swinging around, giggling as she does so. "TowER TOwer tOWErrrr, you are m-I-N-e~ Look at meee gooooooooooo. WhEEEEEeeeeeeee!"
The two down on the ground stare at the giant in befuddlement as Rylee swings and sings on the tower. Hex thinks its impressive that the tower is able to withstand the motions while River was worried about Rylee's hand slipping off and crashing into the city. One thing was clear to them however, and that was just how off-key the singing was. Like it was just awful. They cover their ears with each high-pitched word that she shouted to the city. They both wince at the noise still pounding through their hands from how loud she was being, with Hex turning to face River with a tight grimace.
"I take back what I said about her being an idol!" Hex shouts to River, "She is a terrible singer!"
"InkopolIS, witneeeeesssss my shOOOOWWW! COME- And- See- Me perfoooooooooorm~!" That note in particular was very loud, cracking some of the shop windows down below. Both of them can feel their bodies vibrate at the sound of her voice, looking up to see Rylee doing another loop around the tower making grandiose gestures as she does so. They both carefully uncover their ears before looking around the Plaza, really worried about the potential cops and news choppers that might come up as a result of the giants' loud off-note singing and general destruction leading up to the tower.
"Ugh…" River mumbles, "We have to get Rylee out of the city somehow." They glance over to Hex, who is recovering from the vibrating feeling in her body. "Any ideas?"
Getting her bearings the octo tilts her head up to look at the drunk swinging giant, who thankfully is no longer singing but rather humming and doing spins around the tower. She notes that the amount of spins she is doing is decreasing, likely from how much said spins are really affecting her head. This is a good thing, might make it easier to convince the girl to get out of the city. With Rylee being as stubborn as she is right now though it could just make her want to rebel against them even more. Hex grumbles as ideas come and go, both due to the buzz in her brain but also how how they can reasonably get a 60 foot giant out of the city at this rate.
"Woaugh!"
The two look up when Rylee shouts that, both of their eyes widening when they saw the large form of the Great Zapfish hovering nearby. Because of the darkness they all see electricity crackling throughout its body, the two curly whiskers glowing faintly in the night. And because of that faint bit of light River and Hex see what they think is intrigue on the creatures' face.
"Woah…" River says amazed at the sight. "Not often that you see the Great Zapfish out and about huh."
The sight was mesmerizing for the octoling as well. Like the majority of the octolings in Inkopolis she came up from underground. So her only experience with both the Great Zapfish and its smaller equivalents was back when she was an active soldier. And even then while she does feel regret about taking the little guys she did not feel guilty about taking them from the inklings. It was a necessary thing at the time. However looking at the floating zapfish up there and how big it is compared to Rylee Hex does chuckle a little.
"They're nearly the same size, ain't that funny." Hex said. With the light from the whiskers the octoling can see traces of wonder from the giant inklings' face. And that wonder soon formed a smile as Rylee hopped off the tower, landing with a massive boom heard throughout the cityscape. The two managed to keep upright and look up to see the Great Zapfish lower its body slightly towards the giant, smile still present on her face. They hear her giggle and her fingers twitch.
"Greeeaat Zappy!" Rylee excitedly says, "D-Did you enjoy me sooooong? A-As my biggest fan you deserve a great prize!"
Hex feels some spit lodge in her throat as she realizes what the giant inkling was about to do. River hasn't caught on yet but she has a feeling they will in about five seconds. They watch as Rylee smacks her hands against the zapfish's cheeks, immediately alerting the creature and making River more aware of what is going to happen next.
"She isn't-"
River's words die mid sentence as Rylee closes the gap between her lips and that of the Great Zapfish's. Before the giant envelopes the creatures own. The zapfish stiffened at the action, while down on the street Hex is laughing at the events happening in front of her.
"Oh this is priceless!" Hex excitedly laughs, "Hold on I need to-" Through stifled laughter she pulls out her phone, places it in record, and starts filming the sight. "Oh this beats out any of the drunken shit I saw back underground!" Now recording the kiss between zapfish and giant Hex chuckles to herself, nudging River a little. "You have to admit it is pretty funny that this is how our night is going."
River doesn't know what to say to that as Rylee kisses the equally massive lips of the zapfish. And that was when they noticed that said zapfish was not having it. Its body starts to crackle with electricity, making River's eyes widen.
"Rylee pull back-"
The inkling was too late to warn their partner. In the middle of their shout the creature electrocutes the giant inkling with unfathomable amounts of electricity. If inklings had bones there would be a comical image of hers flashing from the amount of volts going into her body. It lasted for only about five, ten seconds at most, but that was enough for Rylee to pull away from the Great Zapfish, now dazed from the amount of electricity she was just subjected to. There was a visible jitter every now and then from her, making River realize something else.
"Ooooh nnnooooo…" There was pity in their voice, one that Hex notes and puts her phone away.
"What is it?" Hex asks, concern now lacing her voice. It was one thing to laugh at and record someone kissing a fish. It was another to be zapped by however much electricity those things produce.
"Its her sweater." River pierced her lips, looking at the dazed giant. "Because of how much she was zapped with her sweater is now a walking conduit of little micro zaps. And those have probably fried her brain to a degree, resulting in her current state."
Hex looks up at the dazed giant, seeing the occasional jolts jitter her body. Glancing over at the Great Zapfish she watches as it pulls away before coiling its body around the tower. Hex narrows her eyes at this before feeling her ears twitch shortly afterwards as she hears a muffled groan. Looking to River they nod as well, hearing the same sound. They both look up at Rylee, seeing a tired, if still dazed, expression.
"I wanna go home now…" The giant mumbles. Rylee tries to support herself by attempting to lean on one of the buildings but due to her body and sweater being electrified the way it is, it gives her a nasty shock. "Owie…"
The two on the ground look at each other before River pulls out her phone and turns on the flashlight. While they did that Hex gets one of the scooters ready to move, debating their options.
'The forest would be ideal… But-' They look at the giant inkling, who is blinking at River's flashlight being shined into her eyes, with the smaller inkling making some noise and gesturing Rylee to follow. 'The amount of volts Rylee took was not healthy for her. So as much as I don't want to, we'll have to hide somewhere close. Where though…'
She sees River get onto her own scooter before looking up at Rylee. "We'll be slow for you ok girl? Just follow us and the light alright?"
Rylee mumbles and River looks to their scooter mate beside them. "What's the plan? Where are we taking Rylee?"
Hex sucks in her lips before letting out a groan at the idea. "Wahoo World boardwalk." Letting out some air she looks up at Rylee. "I would like the forests near the mountains but with how many volts she just took-"
"It wouldn't be good for her to go too far."
She feels a tug on her lips, nodding at River's observation. Now on the same page she looks up at the dazed giant before she takes one final look around the Plaza before giving the Great Zapfish the middle finger. She hears the inkling chuckle a little at the display before they shine their phone flashlight up at Rylee.
"Come on girl." River shouts up at Rylee before lowering their voice, "It's time to get going. We have to leave now ok?"
Rylee mumbles a quiet 'k' and takes a step towards the inkling with the phone shining in her face. Starting up the scooters they both start moving down the street, with Rylee following a few steps away. It was a slow process, what with the giant being still dazed from the shock and the amount of streetlamps giving her a quick jolt every few seconds due to how charged her entire body was but the normal-sized pair make do. It took a bit but after a few close calls with some cars passing by in the dark and after a few unfortunate accidents of Rylee knocking down traffic lights and crushing a motorcycle underfoot the pair finally managed to lead Rylee down to the beach, and about two blocks away, Wahoo World's boardwalk.
"Finally." Hex states, relieved that they made it to the location as she stops on the walkway. "How are you doing River, phone still decent enough?"
River drives up beside her, keeping an eye on Rylee who is still close behind. "Still got power if that's what your asking. Flashlight functions don't drain the battery needlessly despite what shows and horror films tell you. Rylee on the other hand I think is doing a little bit better."
She gestures to the approaching giant, now a little bit less dazed than before, though there was still visible tiredness in her body language. "Think being near all the buildings took most of the static off her body so she's mostly alright. I'm not that kind of doctor, but she still needs rest to heal and most importantly, get some fucking sleep."
Hex snorts at the last few words River said. They're not the type to swear too often but given how the night has gone the use of vulgarity was warranted. As Rylee sluggishly steps closer to them Hex hops off the scooter and walks towards the stairs. "Lets get going then. We have to get Rylee under the boardwalk and hopefully shrunken down a little bit more so that she can actually fit under there."
River hums and hops off the scooter as well, looking up at the giant who's foot is just a few feet away from them. She cups her hands over their mouth, making sure that Rylee can hear the message. "I need you to watch your step! We're walking onto the beach ok?"
"Beach?" Rylee mumbles, seemingly only hearing that part of the conversation. She looks down at her shoes and blinks. "Ok… Watch step…"
River feels a smile tug on their face as Rylee steps over the two, and with a large step onto the sand it sinks about half a foot down into the loose ground. It sinks a little bit deeper as the leg is supporting her full weight as she brings her other foot onto the sand before staying in place. By the time the giant placed both feet onto the sand Hex and River at the bottom of the stairs and walking past the inkling.
"We're almost to the boardwalk." River gently says to Rylee. "Do you think you're able to shrink down a little bit or not yet?"
Rylee mumbles, shaking her head. "Not yet…"
The inkling nods and gestures the giant to follow them with Hex walking ahead. Fortunately for all of them the boardwalk itself wasn't too far away for any of them. Even Rylee took it easy, shuffling sand behind the two before making it to the Wahoo World boardwalk with Hex taking a step underneath first and inspects the underside.
"It's… Not perfect." Hex bluntly states. "But with a little bit more comfort under here it should be a decent enough place to crash, at least until morning." She turns around and looks at River. "I'll go get the blankets and pillows from back home. Do you think you can keep Rylee company while I grab those? Maybe help her shrink down if she can?"
"Yes I can do that." Before Hex turns to walk back over to the scooters River grabs Hex's wrist, and when the octo turns to look at them again River closes the gap with a quick kiss. "Be safe ok?"
The octolings' mouth is agape at the sudden kiss before giving the inkling a warm smile. "I will. I will see you in a few."
They release the wrist, allowing Hex to start walking away from the two and back to the scooter. They could still see the octoling move in the distance but now their attention was up towards the still standing giant. Wondering how she was going to get Rylee to sit down that was quickly answered by the giant sitting down onto the sand of her own volition, though her large hand needed to grip the boardwalk which splintered from the sudden action before letting go of it.
They were glad that they didn't have to fight with her to sit down but now upon closer inspection of her face they see tiredness present all over. Even the obvious intoxication wasn't really there anymore. Mostly just… Tired.
"Rylee?" River asks as she walks up to her side, "Are you doing alright? Hex is just getting you a blanket and a pillow to sleep here tonight. It'll be like camping."
'Or looking like homeless bums under the boardwalk.' River didn't want to admit it out loud but given that they smell of alcohol and are likely ragged from the chase with Rylee there was no better word for what the three would look like to other people. They lean against a pillar as they both just manage to finally settle down, even for just a moment. River watches Rylee cross a leg towards them, and then blink as the giant removes her sock and shoe before doing the same with the other foot.
"What's up Rylee? Why'd you take your shoes off?" They quickly got their answer as Rylee extends her legs to their full length, extending her toes before giving them a quick wiggle.
"…Shoes weird on sand." Rylee mutters. "Beaches are for bare feet or flops…"
River snorts at the answer. It certainly was one Rylee would give even if she was sober. Looking down at their own feet with their basic runners River thinks before bending down to take them off as well, feeling the sand between her toes. Even if it was a small gesture at least it gave them something to do while still waiting for Hex. Looking up at Rylee they see that her lower back is pressed against the railing of the boardwalk. Letting some air out their nose River steps towards the giant and tries to get her attention.
"Rylee? How are you feeling? Is your back ok do you need to lay down?" Rylee glances down at the inkling talking to her and mumbles.
"Itz fine for now…"
While they didn't believe her there was not much they could do to convince her otherwise. Letting a sharp breath of air River decides to grab on Rylee's pant leg, hoisting themself up before climbing onto the giant's lap. "Well… Just let me know if you need anything ok? I'm here for you."
There wasn't any answer from the giant, not that there needed to be one. River balances themself on the leg as they step towards the belly. As much as they would like to sit near the belly, extending a hand over to the sweater gives them a static shock, the garment still charged with electricity. 'Damn.' They think, 'Rylee isn't going to be able to relax at this rate of its still charged like that.'
Looking up the sweater they see the zipper higher up, not all the way but still a good distance up. They assume that it was unzipped a little back when her and them were waiting for Hex to come back from stealing that keg and they didn't notice. Feeling their face frown they grab a handful of the sweater, feeling the static course through them. If its off then Rylee might be able to recover a little better and be able to shrink down once it wasn't prickling her anymore. So they start their climb up the sweater, feeling static build up between Rylee's sweater and River's own clothing.
The only plus side was that the zipper itself wasn't too too high up, though considering the amount of static that was being formed it made them wonder if it was worth even touching the actual zipper itself. Shock from that would not feel good but they need to get Rylee out of this static sweater. River looks up to see their destination not that far away. Just another step up and then they reached the zipper. At the same time they saw Rylee's eyes bore into them, which made it all the more concerning that there was a faint semblance of a grin in there, tired as it looked. Rylee shifts her body, forcing River to hold on for dear life so that they don't have to redo their climb all over again. Then they hear the sound of the zipper going down, prompting the shorter inkling to look at the now descending zipper.
"T-Thanks girl." River nervously says as the sweater comes apart as the zipper reaches the bottom. "Now could you take off the sweater. She wasn't sure on what the giant was planning to do. Dazed she was but she was also still very much drunk. Their thoughts are interrupted as they feel a hand gently clasp around their body and pulls them away from the sweater. Not really able to fight back River simply doesn't fight back and releases from their hold on the clothing before watching the giant inkling slide an arm out of one sleeve before using her other hand to grab them by the cuff of their shirt. "Ack! Be a little more careful would you?"
Rylee didn't seem to hear that as she fully takes off her static ridden sweater and tosses it beside her socks and shoes as she still holds the inkling in her grasp. River was concerned at this given that the grin was still present on Rylee's face. Then the giant started bringing River closer to her massive lips, and at that point the concern ebbed away.
'Ah.' They thought with relief, 'She just wanted a kiss. I can do that. Kissed her plenty of times while she was big.' But never while Rylee was intoxicated. Was the remainder of the thought that was tucked in their head. Because it was true, this has never happened before, not until this very night anyway. So while the idea of a kiss was welcome as the last sense of familiarity they placed their arms in front of them to create distance between them and the lips in front. Rylee seemed to vaguely notice this before pulling back to look at the inkling in her hand.
"Sorry Rylee. I would totally kiss you, but right now…" River thinks of the words to say next, to see if they can let the giant down gently. "You're a bit… Not you right now. Maybe tomorrow?"
Immediately they felt regret as Rylee puts on the saddest face possible at not getting a smooch. Despite the desire to wipe that sad look off her face, River sticks to their guns and refuses to give the giant inkling a smooch. "Tomorrow Rylee. You smell of booze."
"Noooo I don-"
Rylee tries to counter by saying that she doesn't, when the biggest blech erupts from her mouth, covering River in the gas and echoes through the beach. As what the inkling expected, it smelled heavily of beer from that keg Rylee guzzled down. Their face crinkles at the smell before their partner closes their mouth, oblivious to the onslaught that she subjected the inkling in her hand to. "I don't smell like beer. And-"
Rylee scrunches her upset face before softening it into a pout. "If you don't smooch me I'll be very upset. And- And-" River watches her attempt to think of something despite the clouds covering her brain. "I'll- I'll eat you out! Yeah you'd like that wouldn't you? M-Maybe even toss you down my shirt and squish my boobs together. I've seen the way you look at me with your pretty eyes. You're jealous aren't you?"
Rylee giggles as if she discovered some grand secret of River's, pulling her collar open a little. "Wh-What would you like Rivi? Eaten or bras? Willing to provide either~"
The inkling in her hand however is just not feeling it. They are exhausted from the drinking, having to chase Rylee around and deal with her mood swings, her awful singing at the tower, and now the giant wants a kiss after all that? Fat chance. Not tonight at least. "No means no Rylee." They cross their arms with a firm look at the giant. "You should know better than anyone what that means."
Rylee was taken aback at this before letting out another pout. "Just wanted a smooch…"
"And I don't want to kiss you right now. So you have to respect that."
Rylee sulks before nodding her head. Got the message through her thick head so that was something. River keeps their eyes on Rylee before letting out some air through their nose. "Is it ok if you can shrink down at least? I won't kiss you but I don't mind cuddles."
Saying that seemed to take the giant girl out of her funk, even if only a little bit. She gently puts River back onto the sand and nods her head. "Will try… Head hurts."
They hum at this. To be expected given the amount of drinks she had. If anything they're more surprised that Rylee hasn't passed out from the amount of drinks she had. Then again Rylee might not be that kind of drunk. Spontaneous and moody is more accurate to what kind of drunk she is. They hear a groan above, prompting River to look up at the giant placing a hand on her forehead.
"Head hurts…" She mumbled.
River pierced their lips before walking up to her hand, giving it a gentle rub. "Shhhh. It'll be ok. Just take your time."
They think to themselves for a moment, before glancing at the ocean. "Try taking a scoop of water and splash it on your face. The cold should help out. Just don't drink it though. Salty."
Rylee lets out the smallest of chuckles before shuffling over to the ocean, dipping her hand into the water and letting it pool up as much as it would allow. Once there was a small puddle in her hand River watches her splash it against her face and doing that about two more times before spitting out the water that dripped onto her lips. River watches her hesitate for another moment before cupping both of her hands and filling them with more water, splashing her face with even more water before sliding back beside River. There was a bit of water still dripping from her face, and the giant seemed to notice this, spraying a little bit of it in their direction.
"Helped a little." Rylee says with a faint smile on her face.
Letting out a small snort at this they wipe the water from their face and approaches the giant's side, giving her hand a small rub. "You think you can shrink down now? Doesn't have to be all the way just enough for you to fit underneath the boardwalk better."
Nodding at River's words the giant inkling begins to shrink herself. River can see that it is a bit of a struggle for her but they see her size slowly go down, from 60 feet down to 50 after a bit, and further still down to 36 before she stops. River doesn't say anything about it, they know that she isn't having an easy time of it. They stayed supportive of the inkling however, keeping their hand on hers. It wasn't long before River saw Rylee shrink down more, feeling the hand shrink smaller and smaller while still being much larger than their whole body. They see her start slowing down in size again at around 24 feet before stopping at 20.
"Oughhhh. Head hurts…" She looks down at River with an sore expression. "Can't go any further…"
"Shhhh don't push yourself 'Lee." They gently say caressing her hand. "20 feet is good enough. I won't ask you to push yourself anymore then. Hex should be here soon with the blankets and pillows." In the distance she hears the sound of the scooter approach and looks in the direction where they hear it. The angle makes it hard to see exactly where the octoling is but soon enough they see someone with a large pack of things on their back approach the boardwalk. It wasn't long before River recognized the shape of their partner approaching them.
"Hey you two." Hex says as she adjusts the bag on her back. "Miss me?"
"Heeexyyyy!" Rylee sings offkey as she moves towards the octoling. Hex however quickly sidesteps the giant inkling and she lands chest first in the sand. Despite missing her intended target Rylee laughs it off as she pushes herself up and leans back against the boardwalk.
"Hello Hex." River closes the gap and gives Hex a quick peck on the cheek, much to the disbelief of the giant behind them. "They get a smooch and I don't… Not fair…"
The two ignore Rylee when she mutters that. River looks to the backpack Hex is carrying and there is a lot more than what they would expect. Not that it was unwarranted however given that Rylee is still 20 feet and they still need something to sleep under. "I see you got everything we could need?"
"Yep." She answers, "The foam mattress was the hardest part because I had to tie it to the pack. I was tempted to just wrap it around the handle bars but even though they are made of foam there is still a bit of weight to them. And that's not even getting into the blankets. In fact-"
Hex takes the backpack off and hands it off to River before running back towards the scooter. Though it was dark they could see Hex carry three bags, one of them looking more heavy-duty then the others and one with three large pillows sticking out of it. She puts down the heavier of the three bags onto the sand before handing the other two bags to River.
"As you can see one has three large pillows from home stuffed in it. And this one-" Digging into the other bag she pulls out a pair of sleeping pants from it. "Has all of our sleepwear. Now, you can decide whether or not you want to change into it, doesn't matter to me."
She looks towards Rylee before digging into the final bag, pulling out a 12-pack of water bottles from it. "These are for us and Rylee. Though I guess Rylee is getting more water than us it seems like."
River lets out a tired breath of air at this. "She's smaller than before now but her headache got worse by the time she reached 20 feet so we had to stop."
The octo nods at this, looking at the inkling currently spacing out. And the lack of shoes that aren't on either of their feet. She shrugs at this before kneeling down to rip open the pack of water bottles. Digging her claw into the plastic it opens with ease, pulling out a bottle and holding it out to River.
"Thanks."
River takes the bottle, twists the cap and looks up to Rylee. They wag their finger for the inkling to come closer, to which she does. "Open up. You need water."
Rylee opens her mouth without resistance, allowing them to pour the little bottle of water into it. It wasn't much which is why River takes another bottle and opens that one up before pouring it into her mouth before patting the cheek. "Swallow it. Should feel better after a bit."
She nods, closing her mouth and swallowing the water pooled in her mouth. "Thank you…"
Humming in response to this River pulls out a bottle of their own before drinking it as well. "Thanks for the water. Might make the hangover in the morning a little bit more bearable."
"For us maybe." Hex takes a bottle of her own and drinks it, gesturing towards the giant inkling. "For her? Gonna be killer once morning comes. And frankly, I would not mind if she never wants to drink again after the fact."
Snorting at this River takes another sip. "I wouldn't blame her either. Could you-?"
She gives them another bottle, pouring it into Rylee's mouth before letting her swallow again. "Thanks. But then again, I did get a good video of her being glued to your butt so I guess she wins in a sense."
There was deep blush that formed onto the octolings' face when they brought that back up. "Shut up. You better not show her that when she's sober again. I will end you if you do."
They wave it off, knowing that Hex won't actually do anything to them. "Naaah I don't any any intent to. If I did then Rylee would never be able to look at you the same ever again. We know that for sure."
Hex pauses. Then she lets out a sigh. "Yeah you aren't wrong there. I'm just glad that she didn't make me any bigger. Sure she has to grow herself before doing that but still. Girl was unpredictable like that. Thankfully we don't have to worry much about that anymore."
"Yeah." River says as they drink from their bottle, giving Rylee another one. "Now all we have to worry about is the moaning and groaning as a result. Least we'll be there to take care of her for the next few hours when that happens."
She hums in agreement at this. It was a bit of her fault after all, getting the keg from the bar. And making the cocktails. Really anything involving alcohol is on her. Nonetheless… "We did have fun at the very least didn't we? Chasing aside I mean. Ain't that right Rivi?"
"'Fun' is debatable. But-" They take another sip, "I did have a good time at the very least. How about you Rylee? Despite the shock did you have fun?"
No answer from the giant. "Rylee?" They turn to look for the inkling, only to see her large form laying down underneath the boardwalk. "'Lee?" Closing the distance they wonder if Rylee is not feeling the greatest and is trying to hide it, only for them to hear soft snoring from the girl. "Heh. She's asleep now. Guess all that fun and alcohol finally took its toll on the girl."
"Seems so." Hex responds as she stands beside them. "I guess we should get to sleep ourselves. This hangover won't wait for no one. Quicker to get it over and done with now rather than try and power through it while still awake."
River didn't really want to argue with that. While they weren't quite there yet, the desire to just pass out until morning was an appealing one. "Hex, I'm gonna get changed. Keep an eye out for anyone coming this way. I doubt anyone will but just to be sure."
"O-Oh. Sure?" Hex was taken aback by the sudden decision from River before thinking longer about it. With Rylee asleep there's not much reason for either of them to say up longer then they should, and it wasn't like she was in the mood to do anything else. "I can keep an eye out yeah."
"Thanks. Oh and Hex?"
River gives her a quick wink and a smirk, "No peeking."
A bit of heat was felt on the octo's face when they said that before River walks away from her. As they walked away she rubs her face in an attempt to get the blush off her face. "I'm too tipsy for this…" She lets out a snort afterwards and looks to where River walked off to. "I'll take a peek another night. Preferably when we're both sober."
'Maybe I can rope Rylee into it as well.' Hex muses to herself. 'It'd be a long shot but I can imagine it being entertaining at the very least seeing her all flustered in such a situation.'
Knowing River it likely won't take long for then to change. But that still means no place for them to sleep, not yet anyway. So taking one last look in the inklings' direction she gets to work on setting up their shared sleeping space. Looking at where to put it Hex decides to unroll it a few feet away from Rylee, mainly in case she decides to roll over. As soft as Rylee's belly is that is still about 20 feets worth of inkling rolling onto both her and River. Not exactly light at that size. Regardless Hex pulls out the blankets from the backpack, laying them down onto the foam before doing the same with the pillows. Fortunately the sand wasn't very disturbed underneath the boardwalk so she managed to even it out so that her and River would at the very least be comfortable.
"Hey Hex."
The octo flinches at the voice behind her before turning to see River standing there, now dressed in sleepwear. "Jeez Riv. Startled me there. You look nice."
"Thanks." They respond. "See you got the bed ready for the both of us. Was the sand an issue or not really?"
"Nah it was pretty flat. Good for us I mean, less work trying to make it flat." Hex pushes her hand into the foam to make sure it was still ok. "I just hope that the foam is good enough to prevent back problems." She's sure that it'll be fine but who knows. Sleeping on sand was never really something she thought she would be doing on the surface.
"Don't stress about it Hex." River gently says as they kneel down onto the foam, "I'm sure it'll be comfortable enough. It's the hangover in the morning that'll be the issue."
She snorts at this before standing up. "Not wrong there. I'm gonna get changed as well. You get yourself comfortable, I shouldn't be long."
"Oh?" River raises a brow, "You, getting dressed for sleep? That doesn't tend to be the case often." They think about it for a moment before looking up at the octo. "It's the sand isn't it."
Hex hums, confirming their guess much to their amusement. River watches her take some clothes out of the backpack and moves away from the mattress to go change. River eyes the octolings' butt as she walks away before prying their eyes away from there. "I'm too drunk for this right now…"
River brushes the sand off their feet as best they can before going under the blanket. As they lay there they tilt their head to where Rylee was, her back facing them. They keep their eye on the sleeping giant before looking upwards towards the boards of the boardwalk above. It was quiet, the sound of the waves gently flowing onto the sand being the only thing being heard at here. It was nice to River. They hear a groan nearby, turning their head to see Hex walking over, stretching her body.
"Tired?"
"Like you wouldn't believe." Hex groans before letting her body sag. "Now that neither of us are chasing Rylee around anymore, not drinking, whatever, I feel that tiredness creeping up. The drinks aren't helping much either…"
River hums in agreement. Combined with the running around and in the octos' case, literal crimes of course she would be tired. They open up the blanket, gesturing her so slide in. She gives them a small smile before sliding in beside them, huddling close to the inkling.
"Heh, we're so close to each other." River says as they look Hex in the eyes.
Hex rolls her eyes in response to this. "Rivi there's barely any room here of course we would be close to each other." She gives the inkling a small peck on the forehead, brushing her clawed finger across their chin. "Though it doesn't tend to happen often that much we can agree on."
Their face flushes from the contact before gently moving the finger away, "Y-Yeah. We can flirt later, right now I just wanna sleep. And I'm sure you do as well."
A puff of air comes out of Hex's nose before she retracts her hand back to her side. "Not wrong there. I feel like I should be allowed a little tease though after all we've been through tonight."
The inkling wanted to disagree with that, wanting to say that they can flirt tomorrow and to hold off for the night. But then they remembered what happened earlier tonight with Rylee and Hex, prompting an idea for them. "Meeeh I don't know… I just want to sleep… But as long as you're offering-"
River moves their hands under the blanket, one moving underneath Hex's waist, the other over top. She feels the octo shudder for a moment, allowing them to go for their real goal: The octolings' large ass, giving it a quick squeeze. They grin as their partner flinches at the sudden motion before glaring at her. "Really? You too?"
They snort in response to her tone. "Hey Rylee shouldn't be the only one who gets to hug and grab all that. I have feelings too you know."
Hex gives River a quick flick to the head, them chuckling as they let go of her butt. "Good night." River quietly laughs at this as they pull their arms away from the large posterior of the octoling. Though that doesn't really stop River from whispering into Hex's ear.
"Good night to you as well. Sleep tight."
Hex lets out a breath at this, not expecting River to whisper in her ear like that though she composes herself as she feels River sink into the foam mattress beside her. She takes one last look at the inkling before closing her eyes as well. Can only hope that the hangover that comes in the morning isn't as bad as she hopes it'll be.
------
Morning arrives for the two on the mattress and out of the two currently sleeping only Hex starts to wake up first. Her eyes flutter open, seeing the ocean ahead and dawn is coming over the horizon. She also sees Rylee currently tossing and turning in the sand. Having a feeling that the still enlarged girl will be waking up soon she lets out a tired breath of air and shuffles her body to face River. "River… Hey…"
The inkling doesn't hear her, prompting the octo to lightly tap their face. "Wake up." They let out a groan, but still not budging. Hex frowns and uses both her hands to tap their cheeks. Only then did River wake up, very reluctantly when they finally open their eyes. There was no secret that they were very grumpy at being woken up this way.
"I'd apologize- yawn- but I'm not going to." Hex lifts an arm out of the blanket and points over to the giant tossing and turning. "Think sleeping beauty over there is about to suffer the consequences of her actions. And guess who has to make sure she's ok after the fact?"
River lets out a groan as they know what Hex is saying. "It'll be us… Just give me a minute would you?"
Hex hums at this and lets herself out from the blanket, feeling everything stiff as a result. Turns out even with a shitty foam mattress it doesn't really help with how sand is overall. Popping her back made it help just a little bit but not by much. Walking over to Rylee she nudges the giant to get her attention if she is able to. "Wake up girl." Hex yawns out, "Time for the headache of the century as a result of last night."
"Can the headache come later?" Rylee groans to Hex's amusement. "I feel like death right now."
"Sorry 'Lee. The headache is not optional." Hex rubs her shoulder to give her some semblance of comfort. "Welcome to the world of hangovers. That's what happens when you drink heavily as you did last night."
Another groan is let out as Rylee turns her body to face her partner. "What did I even do last night? Why does my brain feel like a million volts went through it?"
Hex debates whether or not she should tell Rylee what happened before opting to just say it to her. If anything it'll be really funny to her reaction to it. "Well after you swung around on Inkopolis Tower, the Great Zapfish came along and you my dear kissed the giant thing full on the lips. After which it shocked you and then we took you out to the boardwalk because there wasn't anywhere else to go really."
As expected Rylee lets out a monstrous groan at being told that she kissed the zapfish on the lips. "That explains it…" She rubs her eyes of the (hopefully not literal) sand that's in them as she groggily looks at the octoling in front of her. "Did I shrink you in my sleep as well?"
Seeing that Rylee is slowly starting to wake up more Hex shakes her head at the question. "No that's just you at 20 feet. You were 60 before but River managed to talk you down to 20 when we got over here."
Hearing this Rylee moans and turns onto her back, rubbing her face in tired horror. "60 feet… Cooooood… I don't remember anything from last night huh?"
Hex continues to comfort the distressed inkling and thankfully River came in to save her, taking over for a moment with their doctor knowledge. And a few bottles of water for the likely thirsty giant. River uncaps the water and wastes no time in hovering the bottle over Rylee's mouth. "Drink up. It'll help with the headache. And will likely help for what's coming."
"W-What do you mean? What's coming-"
Rylee stops as they feel something build up in her throat. Both River and Hex knew what was coming but that doesn't stop them from feeling sympathetic towards the inkling. Rylee pushes herself up a little, now on all fours as she looks down at the sand. "I-I'm gonna shrink down. That might help out."
"Woah woah wait-"
Both of them were too late to stop the mini-giant from proceeding with that course of action as Rylee starts to shrink down in size. They watch her immediately stop shrinking herself after going down only a foot and a half from her 20 foot height, face turning more pale. Rylee scrambles away from the two on all fours as she darts towards the ocean before hearing an awful retching sound from the inkling.
"Yep." River quietly says as they fully stand up. "Got motion sickness from shrinking down. I'm not surprised that this happened, I just wasn't expecting her to go for shrinking immediately you know?"
"Yeah." Hex said as she watches Rylee empty out her stomach into the ocean. "I would've expected her to wait a few minutes, try and hold it back a little before giving up. But nope, straight to her own hubris." River hums and nods their head as they look way from the mini-giant. Hex eyes the stuff all still on the sand and looks to Rylee once more. "How about I get the stuff packed? You try and comfort our big idiot over there and I'll get everything here brushed off and ready for us to go. Unless they were left there overnight, I wouldn't be surprised if someone nicked the scooters."
River nods, knowing the implication of what Hex is saying. With a hum she lifts the package of water bottles and makes her way towards the upset inkling. While River was putting their knowledge to work Hex looks at the stuff all laying in the sand. From her and River's clothes placed in the backpack to avoid sand to the blanket and pillows resting on top of the foam. Figuring she can be quick Hex pulls out her shorts from the bag and changes into them. Once on and all snug against her butt she feels that same crumpled feeling from last night irritate her again.
"Fucking- What now?" Her headache flares up for a moment as she digs into her back pocket. Hex feels something there before pulling out a crumpled up note. That irritation soon turns into confusion as she holds the note in hand. When at any point did this appear in her pocket? Feeling the note in her hands she folds open the note to see what it says.
'To whom receives this note, specifically the one who likely stole a keg from me, greetings!'
Hex narrows her eyes at the starting portions of this note. She wonders who could have possibly had the time to slip this into her back pocket before she resumes reading it.
'As I can likely have surmised you are confused at who gave you this note. Well you sneaky little octopus, that would be the owner of the bar you likely ran into at some point. Do you recall an older inkling man? About yeh high, likely bought whatever lie you told him?'
That was when Hex's eyes widened and recognized who the writer was. "That fucking old man! The same one who-" Hex does her best to calm herself. Now that she's sober she thinks back to that hazy moment. The moment where he placed a hand on her ass. It wasn't because he was meaning to grab it, it was because he placing blackmail in her pocket! This realization was starting to flare up her headache again but she keeps reading the note regardless.
'As I can likely guess, you recognized who I am. So now I will cut to the chase. I want you to pay for that keg you stole. And I am willing to be generous, because I noticed something about that keg you took. It was a Honey Brown Lager. That one is one of the more higher quality ones, at least as far as the building is concerned. So you seem to know your beers quite well.'
The sudden compliment took Hex off guard for a moment but was uneasy otherwise. She keeps reading.
'So instead of calling it in for theft of property, I am willing to work something out.'
"There it is." Hex mumbled to herself. "The blackmail part…"
'I will be straight with you, I am offering you a job as an employee at my bar. You work for me, and you pay off a bit of your, well lets call it your tab so to speak. A little bit of it will go towards the keg of course but the rest can go towards yourself. We can discuss more back at my building if you wish. But please, decide soon.
'Until we meet again.'
She feels her eye twitch at the final stretch of the note before scrunching it into a ball and threw it as hard as she could into the sand. "That old man thinks he can blackmail me? 'Talk it out otherwise I report a theft?' Fucking-"
Hex lets out a long, deep sigh. She takes a breath in, then out again. "Not in the morning. Not right now." Looking down at the note she picks it back up again and reads the part about offering her a job. "What is even the play here…?" She turns to look over at the two inklings, one still large and the other doing their best to comfort her. Rubbing her fingers over the note she lets out a sigh, this time not in frustration, but rather a resigned one. "I'll hear him out. A job is a job after all."
Hex folds up the note and tucks it in her front pocket this time and packs the rest of the things away as best she could. Once a good amount was back in the bag Hex lifts it up and walks towards her partners. The job 'offer' can hold off for now. Right now, she has a giant idiot that she loves to nurse and help get better.

The Desire to Be A "Good Man"
Sei continues to affirm that Hagiwara is a "good man".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's really what Hagiwara strives to be. You can tell by his expression, but also in his actions that he WANTS to be a good man.
Tumblr media
We see it in the way he takes care of his coworkers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We see it in the way he respects Kaori's boundaries. He doesn't LIKE those boundaries, but he backs off immediately when she throws the walls up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We see it in the way that he is constantly apologizing to Sei and others in case he made them feel uncomfortable or went too far with his questions. I'm not taking screenshots - the man apologizes a lot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But that made this whole conversation interesting to me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because hasn't he been talking about his sex life with Sei this whole time? But it's actually consistent. He DIDN'T talk in detail about the actual sex. He evaded.
Tumblr media
Even though he admitted he wasn't getting laid, he never blamed Kaori. He blamed himself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And even in his breaking moment, he didn't blame her or say exactly what she had done. He just explained how HE felt.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hagiwara WANTS to be a good man, but he feels his desires prevent him from being one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which is why when Sei reassures him that his desire isn't dirty, it isn't bad, it doesn't prevent him from being good - he sheds a tear.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But maybe it's not really about being a "good" man. Maybe the bigger deal is that Sei actually sees him AS a man at all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And after so long of not being seen in that way, Hagiwara can't pretend it didn't happen. He doesn't want to.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's refusing to go back into a room made of glass.
Tumblr media
Although as @respectthepetty said in this post about Sei, I may be mentally stuck in that room until next week.

Okay.... but like, consider merman/siren (Not the bird kind of siren.) Scara sinking our ship and eating our crew. But we're a woman disguised as a man because they used to not let women on ships. He only eats men so when he notices we're different he takes an interest in our body, mainly our boobs? I don't know- just a random thought I had while trying to concentrate during biology. Can be read as a drabble/brainrot or a request. Whichever you'd prefer to read it as<3
This is a very interesting concept ngl 😮 also this was not as great as I'd hoped it would come out..
✧・゚:* ->Siren! Scaramouche x Fem! Reader
✧・゚:* ->¡Warnings!: (sort of) NSFW, Just him being entranced by your chest, Nipple sucking, Making out!
✧・゚:* ->Smut written by a minor!
Tumblr media
You had just begun to feel like everything was going according to plan until your ship was attacked and your crew disappearing beneath the water, only to resurface as mangled corpses. The water around you was a horrible mix of blood and guts as you clung desperately to a floating piece of board that passed by.
You couldn't see anything beneath you, it was just water that went deeper for miles. Suddenly, a webbed hand shot up behind you and covered your mouth. A shape emerged alongside it and you felt a firm, wet chest against your back. Another arm wrapped around your upper torso as a raspy voice whispered into your ear,"Looks like I missed one.."
You thought this was the end, and didn't even bother to struggle since you knew it was futile. This creature was going to turn you into one of the dismembered bodies that were still somewhere nearby. However, you didn't feel yourself pulled underwater. The hand on your chest suddenly moved, slowly tracing the curve of your breasts through your clothes. You couldn't help but feel embarrassed as the creature you assumed to be male straight up groped you.
Suddenly, you felt sharp nails dig into your shoulders as the webbed hands spun you around, giving you a clear view of your 'attacker'. Slit pupils bore holes into your chest as he studied you with a furrowed expression. There were fins in place of his ears and his indigo hair seemed to flow around him despite being dripping wet. His eyes then darted up to your face, his glare piercing you.
"You...you're not a man." He said in a flat tone. You slowly nodded your head,"You're right, I'm a woman... Aren't you going to eat me?" "Eat you? Don't be an idiot, I don't eat female humans," he scoffed as if it were the most obvious thing in the world,"...especially not such lovely specimens such as yourself..." his voice suddenly dropped an octave and a dark expression came over his face. He leaned in a bit, his nose almost touching yours,"You know that you're trespassing by sailing here, right? That's why I killed your crew as a punishment for disturbing my peace. But I won't kill you, though. I already have an idea of what I'll do to you..." His eyes flickered downwards for a split moment and you blushed in embarrassment as you caught onto his meaning,"O-Oh... Well I suppose I am in the wrong... Punish me as you see fit."
Your top was tugged open, even torn in some places due to the enthusiasm of his claws. His scaly tail curled around your lower body beneath the water to hold you still as he lowered his head down till it was level with those soft mounds now covered in droplets of water. Moans keened from your throat as he hungrily began to suck on your left nipple, pointy teeth grazing the already erect bud, eliciting a soft yelp from you.
Your hands weaved their way into the damp hair on the back of his head, tugging him closer,"Mmm...you're so eager, aren't you my little captain?" He teased with a smirk as he released your nipple with a pop and pulled back a bit. Your hands came down to grasp his shoulders as his hands moved up to toy with your breasts, squeezing and kneading them between his webbed hands. The sensation was strange yet pleasurable at the same time and it left you breathless and flushed in the face.
The siren seemed to notice how you seemed to writhe even more when he occasionally gave your nipples a light pinch,"These are so sensitive... Yet they taste delicious. I want to taste more of you." With that, he dove in and captured your lips in an intense kiss. His hands brought you closer, one holding the back of your head to ensure you didn't pull away. You moaned as you felt his tongue snake its way into your warm mouth. It was so sleek and long, practically choking you with how deep it reached, yet it felt so amazing, you didn't want to pull back.
However, the kiss inevitably ended when you needed to breathe. He licked his lips as he watched you catch your breath, appreciating the sight of your exposed chest heaving with every inhale,"Your mouth tasted even better than I imagined. I bet there's other places that would feel absolutely divine on my tongue...but for now I'm satisfied. But don't think that means I won't be coming back for you." He suddenly scoops you up in his arms and makes his way to the beach nearest to the mainland.
As expected of a siren, you arrive there in a matter of minutes. Once you get close enough, you decide to part ways and swim the rest of the way, but before you go he says,"The name's Scaramouche by the way. Remember it for our future encounters." After that final goodbye, he disappears beneath the water and you vaguely make out a dark shape heading back out to deeper waters. As you sit on the beach, attempting to cover up your torso so it looks somewhat decent, you can't help but think that you'll be venturing to that part of the ocean a bit more often now, but on purpose this time.

The RAD School Play
Imagine a school play at RAD. Complete with auditions drama, handmade sets and a whole lot of the regular brand of Devildom shenanigans.
MC’s participation in a play staring two, main leads - which share a romantic kiss at the end, no less - seems to have been really bad for auditions. Diavolo had thought advertising you as one of the main leads would encourage some healthy competition and draw in more sign-ups, so he initially gave you the role.
But then Lucifer had shown up to the next student council meeting with twenty pages instead of the one sign-up sheet the Prince had put up on RAD’s bulletin board. On the sheets collectively, was a sign-up from every student at RAD.
So now, you’re the director and the judge for auditions instead! Diavolo is very proud of this new plan because it solves the problem of getting a more reasonable number of actors, whilst also firing up the auditions. No one wants to look foolish in front of MC after all.
The MC.
The Master of the Avatars of Sin.
Demons figured that one ruling over the Avatar of Greed alone must have demanding taste; let alone one ruling all seven brothers. So you watch everyone give it their all, pulling out all the stops, tricks and twirls in hopes that they can catch your eye.
… Little do they know, you’ve already made up your mind about who’s playing the leads. You pull out the profile of one of your demon friends from your Seductive Speechcraft class - then the profile of her current crush, whom she’s been gushing to you about ever since his seat was moved next to hers. They have good chemistry, had done great auditions, and most importantly…
… You’ve been shipping them for so, so long now. Some would call this an abuse of power but, eh.
You’re the MC.
(this was a little inspired by high school musical - i may turn this into a larger fic with stuff from all the characters if it gets popular enough :D we need more of mc being a harmless menace, like abusing their popularity to play matchmaker at rad lol)

So today in a monthly meeting, I was giving what I might (slightly egotistically) think of as a St. Crispin's Day speech about a project I'm working on. How we're all coming together and driving the business forward; as Colleague #1 and Colleague #2 said, we might be concerned about different standards and laws, sure, but we're moving toward a common goal; reaching for something more holistic---
---only for Colleague #2 to interrupt me and say, sheepishly, "I think your mic switched off."
I'm very pleased with how I reacted, which was not to pitch a fit, but to make a joke about how they could imagine the rest of my speech, and I would imagine them standing up and wildly applauding. Everybody laughed and joked, the meeting moved on.
Then later, without even thinking, I responded to New Boss' comments about a different project with a delighted, "You must be reading my mind! You're so right, we already thought about that, and xyz is how we're tackling it---"
And even later, I was talking to another coworker---when I'm in the office, I like checking in with the people I work with---and she said with a hint of astonishment, "You're so nice." It was obviously intended to be a compliment; I think she was reacting to the fact that I always check in with the team's legal assistant, as much as the lawyers or paralegals. (Why shouldn't I? She sits right there, it seems only fair to ask if we have any business to attend to.)
But it lingers, that "nice" comment.
On one hand, yes I am. I worked very hard to be nice. It was something I had to actively learn; I have a very embarrassing adolescence to point to, as evidence for why I needed this particular education. Also just in general, I think being kind is important; I do sincerely think that open-heartedness, respect, and taking people as they are, are valuable qualities to cultivate.
On the other...how much of this was/is the realization that I was going to be A Fat Woman for the rest of my life, and there are only two ways to play that.

Svsss writing notes: (little reminders for characterization and how to write them) {meant for Moon but if others find it useful, glad it helps!}
Shen Yuan/Qingqiu: beast lover, not big into plants, obsessed with Airplane (like down bad, really bad), cares for his students, thinks himself lazy but is just understimulated give the boy something to do!, don't trust with money (rich kid, doesn't have good examples of good prices), but do trust with quality (has a good eye in this), both in and out of the closet (oblivious to queer feelings, but not embarrassed enough to not act on them most of the time), please don't forget the dick jokes
Shen Jiu/Qingqiu: Snape. But like the irredeemable side of Snape. (Most of the time) Abused and continuing the cycle. Puts in effort into his cultivation, but is so jaded he keeps running into roadblocks. Doesn't trust men, doesn't trust people to believe his side of the story. Doesn't like the fact that his students are doing better than him at learning cultivation (nevermind that they are at the easier earlier stages and he is far more advanced than them). Plays 3d chess with Qinghua with the spy occasionally making it 4 or 5d chess instead. (Note, 3d chess isn't played thinking SQH is a spy. Played because An Ding is a landmine of 'lost' papers and getting the things he wants can be a challenge. Shang-shidi also just fun to mess with.)
Og SQH: (mostly a blank slate, has the most freedom in writing) sneaky, very good at his jobs, never gets caught being a spy, killed for becoming 'useless' after the destruction of Cang Qiong (possibly before) so distant from Mbj (reasons up in the air), sweet but distant
Airplane: Man of many faces. Prim and proper peak lord. Whiny clingy servant. Snarky and distant. Playing 5d chess with time travel almost at all times. Does care for his creations, just mentally distances himself for sanity's sake. Loves lotuses and snow. Mbj's his favorite character. Quiet and deadly, but doesn't fight often. (Sect members do not expect him to fight, sends him out of the way if they can) Good at his jobs, and doesn't get caught until SQQ's death. Plays his role to a t unless told to otherwise. An eginma and a regular person all in one. Flirts without much thought with friends (of which he has few)
Will add others in time...

when im bored asf at school i start rotating leon in my mind
i bet leon still has and uses the same pokemon world equivalent of an ipod hes had since he was like 13. champion sized rock he's been under was big enough to where he doesnt giveafuck about figuring out what streaming is. raihan gasp. but also i think leon just gives the vibe that hes mostly off grid. the league runs his social media and all that
ALSO i think its fascinating leon doesnt have a rotom phone and has a regular degular cellphone. i bet his phone screen is cracked (his training sessions are eccentric). and he forgets it a lot when hes going out. i think that makes rose's shrug with the "where tf is leon" for the match in twilight wings kinda like 'i tried to track him down. u know how he is'. also explains why leon is just Out There Stranded in the wild area and couldnt call for a corviknight cab himself.
ALSO i think bro is just simply reverent about some things. a part of the theatrical side of his personality. i think its so cute how he was excited to hand deliver the invitations for the star tournament himself. he probably appreciates talking on the phone more than texting too
back to the ipod thing. even funnier if it was a gift from raihan. like circa 2012. raihan got the position as gym leader and wanted to flex his new pokedollars and gifted leon an ipod. the disbelief and fascination to see leon still using it

Cosmic Treats
When it came to baking, Pepper was pretty good at it. Especially given her size and the amount of proportions she makes at a time alone. But even she has creative slumps. It probably doesn't help that Pepper has been baking for a few days now, since she was hired as a freelance baker for a festival coming up in a few days. But even with all of her cookies, cakes, and all that ready to go Pepper didn't feel like it was enough to stand out amongst the others there. As the giant sheep rests on the couch, half eaten meal in front of her, she looks at a tiny potion bottle sitting beside the plate. The colour inside was purple, though it was interesting in that spots of varying colours would also show up. It mesmerized her.
When Pepper was out looking for inspiration she came across a little shop that sold potions. While using potions isn't generally something she does (as it messes with the composition of whatever she is baking at times) she needed something to at least help her sleep what with all the baking she's done. Fortunately it didn't seem to be busy so she could take her time trying to squeeze through the door. After looking around the person at the front recommended the pink potion, saying that it will help make sure she is well rested. While rest was what Pepper wanted and considered buying it the person stopped, and properly looked at her. They then placed a different potion on the counter and offered it instead. When asked why they said;
"You look like you need something stronger. And I recognize you, mostly from around the festival. It can get tiring, so I will offer you this one for half."
While Pepper was touched at this in hindsight the sheep wonders if she was swindled because she was too mentally exhausted to catch the cues.
With it being nightfall and much more to do tomorrow Pepper hopes that the potion she bought wasn't a dud. Picking the tiny bottle up she uncorks it and downs the whole thing. The drink doesn't take effect right away, not that Pepper expected it to. Being as big as she is most potions are aren't medical based tend to have a delayed effect. Nonetheless she makes herself comfortable on the couch before reaching a hand to her right, picking up a book that was managed to be sized to her. Moving the plate of half eaten food onto her lap she takes a small bite as she flips to the part the sheep was at before. As Pepper munches on her remaining food and flipping a page every now and then her body starts to feel sluggish, barely able to turn to the next page before she feels everything go dark.
Morning comes and Pepper grunts as she feels her body wake up. Grunting at this she looks down at her body, seeing the plate still on her lap, though the book has fallen to the floor, the page not marked.
"Man…" Pepper sighs, "Now I need to remember what page I'm on and mark it."
Moving the plate to the coffee table she starts to stand up, feeling her whole body react to this, her bones popping at the joints.
"Oof, couch bed did not agree with my body this time…" Letting out more air Pepper looks over at her kitchen before shaking her head. "Eat out today. Don't want to be in the kitchen right now."
Giving her body a stretch Pepper sees that she was still in the clothes she wore yesterday. Despite it not being in good form the sheep could care less at the moment. She needs to eat. Exiting her carriage Pepper takes the steps down and heads towards the town of Afigato and does her best to look for a place that's open at this time. As she is walking through however she found the town… Strangely lacking in people somehow. Especially considering how there's supposed to be a festival coming up that she's apart of.
"Something isn't right…" She thinks to herself. Her stomach growls before she could do much more, forcing the thought of what happened to the people for later. When she approaches a diner and looks in it she is confused at how there are no people inside it. What she does smell however, are pancakes inside the diner. A massive stack no less, easily around 30 pancakes in total just sitting there waiting to be eaten. Even though no one is around Pepper felt guilty at the idea of eating them before her stomach grumbles.
"Ahhh… You know what," Pepper says, "I'm sure they wouldn't mind. I'll pay for them and they get a bit of money. Sure that my payment from being in the festival should cover the debt…"
Looking around to see if anyone was around Pepper squeezes herself into the diner and shuffles her way towards the delicious stacks of pancakes. Since the stacks were just sitting on the counter it wasn't long before Pepper reached them, and the sheep can feel her mouth salivate as she sees that they're decorated with fruit and syrup, basically nearly everything Pepper would put on her stacks if she were gorging that day. Nonetheless makes it to the counter and gets herself seated. On the floor anyway, she would just utterly destroy the actual seats if she sat on them. Nonetheless picking up the fork and knife that were there as well, Pepper starts digging into the many pancakes that she is having for breakfast.
What she doesn't notice is that with each pancake stack eaten her size balloons outwards little by little. She grows a bit taller, her butt expands outwards, her belly grows just a little bit larger, and her chest strains against the shirt for the briefest moment before seemingly resizing itself to conform to Pepper's new size and height. This moment continues unbeknownst to the sheep girl, who is just happily munching on pancakes as this is happening. It wasn't long before the pancakes ran out, and so the growth stopped as a result as she pats her belly.
"That hit the spot! They sure do know how to make good pancakes." Shuffling on the floor Pepper digs into her clothes to find a bag of coins to pay for it, only to come up dry. "…Maybe they won't notice…"
Though the idea of a dine and dash appalled her she didn't really have much of a choice given how much of a ghost town the diner was. So Pepper shuffles around to face the double doors getting stuck on her way out oddly before popping out.
"Swear that it wasn't that tight before…" Rubbing her side Pepper looks out in front of her, only for her attention to be immediately grabbed by the crowd of people suddenly outside. Many of which were getting flowers ready for the festival in addition to the banners. Pepper was confused since it was a ghost town before but puts it in the back of her mind, regarding it as woke up before the morning rush and was too preoccupied eating pancakes.
In any case with the crowds moving Pepper figures to take another look around town and see how things are going. As she strolls down the road two people are carrying a planter filled with flowers gets placed in a spot, the two wiping their brows. Wanting to see the flowers better Pepper approaches the flower bed and smells them. After said smell the flowers react to this, spraying pollen all over her face.
"Gah! Pleh!" Pepper stumbles back and wipes her face of the pollen while the two people laugh.
"Sorry 'bout that missy!" One of them says, "The sneezing flowers must've just just ripe enough to cough it out! It won't do any harm to you but it is rather annoying!"
They continue to laugh as Pepper tries to wipe the pollen off her face, unaware that she is growing again as a result of the spores. Once the sheep finally wipes the pollen off her face she walks off, not taking another chance with those flowers.
"Ugh think I got some of it in my mouth…" She grumbles as she wipes her lips. When she got as much as she could out Pepper continues her walk, staying away from the flower beds as she does so. Soon she reaches a road with little stands set up for the festival. Which seems to be under way much to Pepper's surprise. She thought it wasn't for another day or two. As much as she wants to go back to her carriage, bring it into town and set up the sheep figures that it can wait for a moment. Eying the stands to see which one she should check out first Pepper's eye catches a stand with a little globe spinning around on a stand. Interested in what that little stand has to offer Pepper approaches it, where it is manned by a lightly robed figure who saw her coming.
"Ah hello there! Interesting in the globe of mystery?"
While Pepper is certain that this is just the fake seller voice but plays along since it seems to be festival time. "Yeah what's the deal with the globe?"
If Pepper could see their face it would be one of amusement, "Well the globe is whatever you want it to be. And since the festival just started I'll let you have first go for free."
Pepper smiles at this, allowing the figure to explain the globe, "First, place your hand on the globe like so." She places her hand on the sphere as they continue, "Now empty your mind and allow the mystery to show you inspiration. Fair warning, it may also show a future event yet to come, but do not be alarmed! It cannot hurt you. Focus, and let it consume you…"
The sheep closes her eyes and allows her mind to empty. In the void of her mind she stands on a slightly bumpy surface. In the void Pepper opens her eyes, seeing blackness and twinkles all around her. The surface now that she has gotten a good look at it is a solid yellow. While the ground was interesting she didn't have the time to process it as Pepper is thrown off her feet, landing as the surface she stands on moves towards a vast hole in the black sky.
"Woah wait wait wait!"
The void gets closer and closer, and before the darkness of the void could consume her Pepper snaps out of it, the light of the sun shining into her eyes. "Ugh… What?"
The figure chuckles at this and leans forward, "Well then, it seems that you dear, will have an out of this world experience and inspiration. May the vision guide you to better prospects."
"Um. Sure. I guess?"
Pepper walks away though not before the figure calls out from behind. "Oh and by the way miss. You may want to watch your step. It seems that big things are in store for you. Hehehe…"
She frowns as she hears this before noticing that her strides are a lot longer then they usually are. When Pepper looks down does she finally notice the ground being much further then usual. "Woah! How did- When did-"
If she weren't in a big crowd of people the sheep could run her hands over her curves, since despite seemingly being scaled to her height as well they were so much bigger then they were before. Piercing her lips Pepper hopes that she stops growing, though given that no one else really seems to be noticing her new height maybe it might be fine?
"Well… May as well make the most of it I guess?" She asks herself. "Maybe I can help out more around the festival. Yeah perfect, I'll do that."
Despite this idea in mind Pepper looks around and sees that the festival itself was going at aa moderate pace when it comes to set up. And the sheep sadly has noticed that she is still growing. If she were to take a guess she is now approaching 40 feet tall and may still be growing. So that wasn't great. Nonetheless Pepper is at a festival, and she may as well do her best to enjoy it. That's when another event caught her eye, one involving a stage and a magician with a comically large box on it. Asumed at this Pepper walks up, making sure to watch where she steps as most of the ground is obscured by her assets.
Once she stands at the very back of the crowd, and only seeing it get smaller due to her still growing body, the person up front is doing a callout according to her point of view. While she couldn't hear what they were saying eventually a green light shined on her chest, small due to her size. "And how about you tall sheep? Ready to go into the Wonder Box?"
Pepper for the lack of a better word was not really up for being on the stage, not since her hoof alone could probably crush that stage. But at the same time with all eyes on her the sheep felt like she doesn't have much of a choice. Taking slow deliberate steps towards the stage Pepper stands beside it instead of breaking the stage itself. The announcer seems to get the gist of it and doesn't seem to care that there is a near 43 foot tall and still growing sheep girl standing beside the stage as they gesture to her. "You there tall one! Would you like to see something beyond your wildest dreams? An experience you could never get otherwise? Then the Wonder Box is the right thing for you? It can do just about anything, change shape, transform, anything you can think of, it can do! And thanks to our volunteer she will be the first to go in! Are you ready miss?"
"Um-" Seeing all the eyes on her does not help her at all but before Pepper could respond, she starts to be enveloped by the comically large box. "No wait I didn't agree to this!"
"Now then," The magician laughs, "let us see what the box desires today!"
From inside the box Pepper is unsure of what is happening outside. While she can hear everything it's becoming more and more faint as she grows ever larger. The box however does not seem to agree with this, keeping her massive form contained even as her head bumps against it. She lets out a 'hggh' sound as her form is compressing against the box, preventing her from hearing what's going on outside. When the crowd simmers down after the last bit of applause Pepper heard the voice again.
"It seems that the box wants to send our resident sheep on an adventure of cosmic proportions!" They shout as the box reacts to this, rumbling as Pepper was being squeezed more into the box. Her chest, belly, butt, and her wool were filling up the box, pressing against the walls as she grows larger and larger. Due to the box surrounding her she was not able to see how much she has grown, not that the box was comfy in any way what-so-ever what with her entire body starting to be suffocating due to all the wool.
"Ngh… Come on-" Pepper struggles more and more as the box continues to tighten around her. When she feels the box finally strain against her girth the sheep is happy about this, pushing against the box as hard as she can. "Free me already you stupid box!"
With one final surge of growth Pepper breaks out of the box, feeling so much better from not being confined in that thing anymore. She lets out a sigh at not being confined anymore, though when she looks down she freezes up at how she is now floating in the middle of nowhere, looking left and seeing what appears to be the moon beside her and an even larger globe floating nearby. And judging by the landmasses present on said larger globe, that was Pepper's planet, her home.
"Ooooh noooo…" Pepper quietly says as she stares at her home in disbelief as it floats in front of her. As the moon moves further away from her and she floats there in silence does the sheep girl laugh, as if something in her mind finally clicked for her.
"This is a dream. Isn't it?" Pepper asks herself. "I mean it has to be. No one has been able to even actually make it up to the stars yet, if such a thing is even possible. We have telescopes that show us that there's more out there but no possible way of getting to them." She lets out a small 'heh' at this realization before laughing a bit louder. "And here I was getting worried over nothing! Well that's a lie, I was pretty worried… But now that I know its all fake…"
Pepper feels something build up in her throat before it comes out as another chuckle. "Well then I have nothing to worry about. I can breathe out here after all. But…" The sheep looks around her surroundings, making note of the blackness with distant stars twinkling in the void. "What now?"
As Pepper floats in place something drifts by her, almost unnoticeable at first. But as it comes back around Pepper sees that it is a gumball. A large yellow gumball orbiting around her, about the size. The sheep chuckles at the coincidence of it, given that the colour was the same as the one from her vision back when she was small. "Guess when you're 'mortal' most things are like planets to regular sized people. Speaking of which…" Pepper plucks the ball from its orbit, holding it in between her hooves, eyeing the gumball before smirking and popping it into her mouth.
"Oooo lemon flavoured." The moon-sized sheep said as she chews on it, "I like it."
As Pepper chews on it it softens in her mouth. The consistency of it made her realize this isn't one of those fancy breath freshener gums either, it was a bonafide bubble gum gumball. Now more giddy at this Pepper starts to chew it a little bit faster to get it enough to stretch the gum over her tongue. Once able to do that she starts blowing herself a bubble, figuring to make it as big as possible.
'Heh. Able to blow bubbles out here huh.' She thinks to herself in amusement. 'Lets see how big I can blow it. Been awhile since I've chewed gum so I might be rusty.'
Taking a deep breath Pepper starts blowing a bubble and getting to be a decent size. However due to the reality of this likely being a dream she keeps going with the bubble, making it as large as her head before blowing to make it even bigger. As the bubble kept growing bigger and bigger with every breath of air Pepper grew only more amused with her bubble blowing skills with a small bit of concern with how big it is getting.
'Hmm… It should pop by now right?' Pepper thinks to herself as she keeps up the effort of blowing the bubble. It started to grow to the size of her body, and despite the original moon coming towards her to complete its orbit. The moon had to have popped it once it connects right? Despite this thought however once the moon of her home collided with the large bubble it didn't pop the bubble. Instead once it made contact it got sucked into it instead like a hard slime when you stick your finger in it. And whether because the gum was deceptively durable on the inside or if it was because of Pepper's own mass but the moon inside the bubble ceased to move any longer.
'That's… Not good I think.'
Regardless of this thought Pepper kept on blowing the bubble, making contact with the planet as it still grew. While Pepper knew that this was all likely a dream in the end now it still doesn't make her feel good to potentially destroy it. And yet the sheep was also curious just how far she could go with it. Her question was soon answered however, as the bubble started to shake. At first Pepper was thinking that it was about to pop.
Instead what happened was the giant bubble imploded on itself, all of the 'air' that was blown into the bubble sucks back into Pepper's body, resulting in very rapid growth while the planet and moon that were absorbed inside the bubble were sealed inside, trapping all air inside and much to Pepper's shock doesn't move the moon closer to the planet in any way. Not like the sheep is able to see it as due to the bubble imploding her growth skyrocketed, her breasts knocking the gum sealed planet out of sight. Thankfully it doesn't hit the sun but that's not helpful given that her entire growing body is knocking countless planets out of alignment due to her growth.
"How big am I going to get?!" She yells as her body continues to grow, knocking more and more planets out of the way. Even the sun her belly bumped into only hurt as much as a ball could if it was on fire. Which to say not very much. Pepper despite it knowing it might be a bad idea plucks the sun from where it was, watching it shrink in her hold. The sheep then decides to open her mouth, and toss the flaming ball into her mouth. There was spice to it as she chewed it, but overall? Surprisingly not bad.
"Huh… Well that is something." Pepper says as she continues to grow. As everything continues to shrink smaller and smaller Pepper plucks more and more of the dwindling planets around her and tosses them into her mouth. They were crunchy, but with a nice hot center in each of them. Even the ones where they were mostly cloudy still had a unique taste to them though the ones that were liquid not so much. The liquids evaporate when touching the hot spicy core so all she tasted was the center, which isn't very fun.
As Pepper consumes more planets despite their dwindling size her growth only gets faster. When it becomes clear that even the 'biggest' of these things is gets destroyed by her very presence whether by being bumped into by her body or otherwise she lets out some air. "Well now what?"
Her answer comes in the form of a beautiful sight soon afterwards; Bright clouds of dust show up around her, the sight utterly mesmerizing. "Woah…" The galactic swirls around her spin slowly in place, the sight of which causes a spark in the mind of the sheep. "That's it. That's what I've been missing. This colourful dust out here in this black void by all means should not look as good as it does. And yet-"
Pepper feels a smile form on her face. Her inspiration was coming back, the ideas from this sight alone is enough to make dozens of sweets for her to make. She gets internally giddy before it becomes outward joy. "It just does. I can bake again and I have that odd potion person to thank. Could've been better about it but no rest for the wicked I guess."
As ideas for new treat designs and creations flow into Pepper's head, the body of the sheep rumbles and before she knows it her growth spikes once more, turning the beautiful cosmic dust into nothing as it is leveled and ruined by her massive chest. As bummed as Pepper was about this the spike in growth was just as concerning, turning countess arrays of colourful dust into actual dust. Even if Pepper can't feel them the dust was collecting in her wool, getting smaller and smaller. Just when Pepper was wondering when it might end her head bumps into something. Something invisible but still there. She struggles to make room, destroying countless things in her efforts to give herself space.
Before the cosmic sheep could attempt to do anything else, she heard a loud noise, indecipherable, but present. If there was a comparison Pepper could compare it to, it would be a very loud pop. Like a… Balloon? A bunch of them?
Pepper's eyes shot open once she hears balloons popping from outside her carriage, the suddenness of the event surprising the sheep as she lands on the floor with a loud thud. "Ow… What a way to wake up huh…"
Pushing herself off she looks outside her window, seeing balloons floating around and up. Walking closer to the window Pepper sees large balloons being popped outside, and judging by how some of them are trying to fill them with air magic they're doing it too fast. Taking the quick and lazy way according to Pepper. Nonetheless now that she knows what was the cause of her abrupt awakening she thinks back to her dream and how beautiful the sights were.
That is when Pepper remembers what happened. How the sights gave her inspiration, how the planets in the black void had that spicy center. It all came back to her. And thus she heads over to her kitchen to see what she has ingredient wise in order to make something that recaptured that sensation from her dream. Looking at everything she has Pepper feels excited, because she can make something that would be similar to the experience she had in her dream. "Let's get to work then."
Cracking her bones to wake up Pepper starts doing two things: Firstly, make herself something to eat. Baking on empty stomachs suck. Secondly, get started on making ideas for what the core could be. From her dream they were very hot, so some cinnamon might do the trick. Some won't have it if they want a more cool flavour so mint will do as an option. Next was the outer shell. Should she make it a cake or should she go with hard candy? After some deliberation Pepper ultimately decides on hard candy. She already has made cookies and cake for the festival so something different will be good.
Tough as it was Pepper got to work making the hard candy along with her breakfast. Fortunately she was making things simple by having some waffles so that she can spend more time getting the hard candy right. Doing designs was not out of the question for the sheep but its typically not something she does often. This however is a good challenge and thus she will go all out in order to achieve the look of the planets.
Hours pass by and Pepper wipes the sweet off her brow. "Finally…" She says with exhaustion, yet a bit if satisfaction, "The hard candy is done."
When Pepper looks at the finished product she is proud of herself. The detail on the planets is excellent to her, some of the ones sporting clouds like the planets she ate in the dream, others look like if someone didn't tell you that if they were made of candy they could pass as part of a solar array in a museum.
Needless to say Pepper was patting herself on the back for the job well done. And she deserved it as well. Even if the method getting there was questionable given the shady person and potion, Pepper was glad that she was able to reinvigorate her creativity again. Looking at one of the small spare ones, one that Pepper dressed up like their moon, she chuckles.
"Just like in the dream huh. Have to taste it anyway so." Picking up the moon coloured hard candy Pepper inspects it before tossing it in her mouth. She sucks on it for a bit, feeling the flavouring melt in her mouth before eventually she reaches the minty center.
"Hm!" Pepper exclaims as she sucks on it, "This worked out brilliantly!"
With the mint now melting in her mouth Pepper looks at the others. There wasn't many but she figures that she can pass them off as a specialty candy. Not for the hardest part: Naming the things.
Pepper hums as she looks at all of the hard candies, arranged all neatly. Remembering her dream an idea starts to form.
"Cosmic Wonders. That's what I'll call them." Content with the name Pepper carefully starts moving them to the side so that they don't get damaged in any way. She smiles as she does so and looks in the direction of her pantry.
"Maybe some pudding this time. Replicate the stars and the void they were shining in." The sheep feels excited, another idea formed once again and takes a deep breath. "Seems that I'll be going above and beyond for my work."
She walks to her pantry, throwing the door open as she looks inside for pudding ingredients, "And I wouldn't have it any other way."

Tumblr media
Your boyfriend was away on a business trip that was supposed to last a few weeks and while you didn't object at first, after the first week or so you had to admit that his absence was making you lonely.
That also meant you had to rely on yourself for pleasure but no amount of toys or your fingers could make yourself climax like he did. Hell, you couldn't even orgasm in the first place. By the end of the second week you were extremely pent up and frustrated. You missed everything about him, his face, his fingers, his voice, his cock...
It didn't take long for you to finally open his contact and press call. He answered almost instantaneously and you felt your heart flutter when you heard his soft voice through the device next to your ear.
"Hello?" "Scara, I miss you so much...you've been gone for so long!" He smiled at your longing tone full of indignation before replying, his voice holding a teasing lilt to it,"I miss you too, baby, even though it's only been two weeks—" "Two weeks is a very, very long time for you to be away!" You couldn't help but cut him off, scoffing as he merely laughed in amusement at your annoyance, finding it cute how badly you wanted him to be by your side again. "Alright alright, just hold on a little longer, I'll be home before you know it. In the meantime, tell me about your day."
And so he patiently listened to you ramble on about the things that happened while he was gone, occasionally throwing in a snide comment here and there. You took a deep breath as you finished, asking him about how things were on his end. As you listened to your boyfriend talk, you couldn't help but let your mind wander. Soon you completely lost track of the things he was saying, focusing on how smooth and sexy his voice sounded. The low rasp in his tone only made more blood rush to your cheeks as all the pent up feelings you surpressed made their way to the surface.
You bit your lip, rubbing your thighs together as arousal pooled between them. Your mind became clouded as you imagined him whispering the filthiest things right next to your ear in that same tone. One of your hands kept holding the phone as the other made it's way down your body, teasing the waistband of your pants before slipping in. You shuddered as your fingers made contact with your soaked pussy. When did you get so turned on...?
Carefully, you circled your thumb around your clit as your middle and ring finger prodded your leaking hole. Your teeth dug into your lower lip even harder as you slowly pushed them past your folds, resisting the urge clamp your thighs around your hand. Your hand that was holding your phone trembled as you struggled to hold back your moans. The sound of his voice only made you wetter as you pumped your digits in and out of yourself at a steady pace.
You were so caught up in your pleasure, that you didn't even realize Scaramouche had stopped talking. It wasn't until you heard him inquiring about your state that you snapped out of your blissed out state,"[Name]? Are you still there?" "O-oh! I'm fine, just...keep talking, please..." Needless to say, your boyfriend was a bit baffled by your request, but he complied anyway. The more he spoke, the closer you felt to finally reaching orgasm for the first time in weeks. Your fingers' pace quickened as you found it increasingly difficult to stay quiet.
Even moving the phone away from your ear a bit did not stop him from hearing the heavy pants and muffled whimpers in the background, which caused some suspicions to raise. "Are you sure everything's alright, [Name]?" "I-I told you, I'm fine! Keep talking...I'm almost there..." He wasn't stupid and that sentence told him everything he needed to know. A smug smile graced his features as he put and two together.
"I see how it is..." "Wh—" "I can here your slutty moans clearly. I didn't realize that my pretty little girlfriend was such a desperate whore, that she'd resort to fucking herself on her fingers to the sound of my voice. You really missed me that much, huh?" "..I did..." You could barely answer between your moans. God, hearing talk like that to you was so hot. You could feel yourself clenching tightly around your fingers. You were getting close... "It's okay. I bet you've missed my cock too, you wish I was there to fill your needy pussy with my cum, hm?" He continues to praise and degrade you over the phone in that sultry tone you love so much.
"I'm sure you haven't been able to make yourself cum once since I left. It's so adorable to see how you need merely the sound of my voice to get yourself off. You'd literally be hopeless without me. Now keep thrusting those fingers into that pretty pussy, I want you to cum hard around them," And so you did, sweet cries sounding from the speaker of his phone as you quicken your pace, eyes rolling back into your head from the pleasure. The way your moans' pitch heightened told him that you were teetering on the edge of orgasm, so he continued to coax you,"Just like that, gush all over those dainty fingers for me."
You didn't need to be told twice. Your moan of ecstasy echoed through the dark room as your juices coated your fingers, soaking through your clothes and dripping onto the sheets below. You rode out your high until your breathing evened out slightly and you pulled your soaked digits out of your tight cunt, making you miss the feeling of being stuffed. Your pussy clenched around nothing as you heard his low laugh on the other end of the line,"Oh, how I wish I was there to see your face contort into that whorish expression I love so much. I bet you still want more, right? My slut wants me to be there, fucking her dumb on my cock?" You nod your head enthusiastically as you answer even though he isn't even there to see, but you're just that eager.
"Of course a slutty bitch like you wants my cock, if I was there with you, I'd make you get on your knees and make you worship it all night while making you finger yourself so that I can watch for my own amusement." The image makes your head spin and you swear that your inner thighs became even more messy with slick. "You're so wet now, aren't you? Want me to grab your hair and use your throat like my personal fucktoy?"
Your only responses are either longing whines or quiet 'yes's as he dirty talks to you over the phone, making promises of fucking you nice and hard when he gets back to make up for his absence which only makes you even more impatient for his return. Eventually, he has to go so you reluctantly hang up the phone before getting up to clean up. After that, you curl up on the bed, hugging the pillow he always sleeps on as you drift off to sleep.

Your OC as a flower
thank you so much the tag, @jynxeddraca! This one was especially nice for me because, like you with your tav, I have a strong flower association with Thyneron, so this is a nice opportunity to get into that!
Larkspur - Delphinium Occidentale
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Due to the larkspur's tendency to bloom in the late spring and early summer, just as school is ending for the year, the cheerful flowers encourage us to lean into the sense of wonder and excitement that children experience when looking forward to a summer filled with swimming, time with friends, and new adventures. They are associated with dignity, protection, love, lightheartedness, and an open heart.
But more importantly, and especially relevantly to Thyneron, they are poisonous. When touched, the leaves and seeds can cause irritation, rash, blisters, and swelling. When consumed, symptoms include nervousness, vomiting, muscle twitching, and paralysis, all of which can lead to death.
Tumblr media
I really wanted to convey that Thyneron is an unwitting danger, to both himself and the rest of the party. On the surface, he's polite, affable, and well-spoken, but beneath it all he's a boiling mess that damn near consumes every single person he comes into contact with. Much like the pretty and unassuming exterior of the larkspur, many are unaware of the danger until it's too late.
All of the sorcerers in his family line begin weaving their own staves when their powers begin to manifest. He's been meticulously cultivating his since the age of eight, with larkspurs that he picked from his mother's garden. His mother, the sorcerer that preceded him, favors a staff made from foxgloves, that she picked from her mother's garden, and so on and so forth, leading all the way back to his ancestor, a green dragon.
as always with no pressure, I am tagging: @arcandoria, @themumblingmouse, @starlightweave, @gilraina, @the-weeping-dawn, and @oryndoll
