Do you have a favorite character type?⠀

The majority of my comfort characters tend to have some affinity with Death.⠀

⠀

With Nesta, I started off not really liking her in ACOTAR but by the end of book 1 I was intrigued. The Bone Carver is another character I came to adore. There are aspects of Nesta's personality and backstory I don't necessarily connect or agree with, however she is a more layered individual. I could relate to her anger stemming from trauma.⠀

In that respect, Kylo Ren intrigued me as well. He caught my eye the second he was introduced in The Force Awakens, which remains my favorite film of that trilogy. ⠀

Tyki/Joyd from D.Gray-Man and Undertaker from Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji) further explore the duality of humanity through their characters and actions. I love seeing them interact with the protagonists in their respective manga series.⠀

And this, everyone, is our obligatory mascot! A name hasn’t been yet decided but I (theholychesse) am voting for Meowmageddon. This little cutie is a Koi Kat and belongs to Hunk! And it’s drawn by the wonderful friend @neithersnownorrain !!! Like they are too good and too pure and made a too good and too pure baby. We love this fish baby.

Fortunately we have plenty in common, just not related to my rights as a human being I guess, lol. But yeah it's awesome here, I really hope we can somehow work something out someday because it would be THE BEST BACHELOR PAD EVER. We'd somehow have to get both our giant plushie collections in there. YOU ARE INVITED IF WE DO IT.

I think it's mostly that they're cis folks who don't understand that it's more than being a tomboy who likes to be called by a different name. Some of them still call me "miss" or "girl" even when I've repeatedly corrected them. But yeah, I don't much care for it when people refuse to respect someone's preference based only on the fact that they have not or don't plan to have a certain operation or treatment. It's just not for everybody! (I can't really grasp not wanting HRT, but I can respect that some make that choice, and there can be a LOT of reasons.)
