Thad's perspective on the time between his introduction and Mercury Falling.

The subject smiles. Thad imitates it. He knows without checking that he’s gotten it wrong. He pauses the video on Impulse’s face and lowers his heels to the ground. Thad stares at the line of his jaw and the curve of his nose and the bright yellow of his eyes and tries again to make their expressions as identical as their features. He smiles again, and the muscles in his cheeks pull uncomfortably. His eyebrows furrow. He knows that’s wrong too. He advances the footage. Pauses on another frame. Impulse smiling again. Thad doesn’t understand what there was for him to even smile about. He doesn’t care. The point was that this was a different smile. Thad keeps his lips together and tilts his head a little along with the uneven curve of his mouth. It’s still not right on his face. He runs his fingers through his hair again and plays the footage a few more times.

Sting's career was great, so he had to achieve a bad album rule at one point. Still, Mercury Falling wasn't really a stumble many made that to be, though the record does suffer in comparison to the luxurious predecessor. You see, the platter shows Sting trying to be relaxed, yet he ended up thinking about the latter instead of actually doing this. Therefore, the LP sounds strained at some moment, but Sting does have a lot of qualities, which make up for this. We must remember what Allmusic said – he's great with melody and lyrics, so you can't really say he went through the motions here, his expertise continues to be presented. Nonetheless, he also seems to be heavily dependent on something else, but what that is?

Anyway, if Mercury Falling took place while Bart was in his "shaves my head every day" phase I firmly believe Thad would just b like. Lolz guys my hair grew back overnight, and also I'm tired of shaving it.

Cause thads hair took like five million years to grow what Bart can in five days.
