2020 January CassiniDivision 00:02:36 Garage Band Got inspired to visit one of my old works in progress after my birthday party last night ! This one came out surprisingly quick, the original composition wasn't going anywhere, but after some playing around with the original melody, i think i came up with something pretty good ! On the side, i've been studying an electronic piece i really love by reconstructing it entirely by ear as orchestra so that i might try to understand the composition, the complexities behind it, and why i like it so much to improve on my own compositions. I think this piece was definitely a step in the right direction. The structure here is still pretty simple, but i can say im proud that i was able to come up with more complex melodies and accompanying tracks ~ Moving on to the actual details about this piece, I named this one CassiniDivision because of a clip i have in there of a recording of Saturn captured by Cassini . I also think the sound of the piece in general evokes a sense of looming darkness and exploration, which definitely feels like a Saturn thing to me ~ ~ mer [ moonblaze13 / kittimer ] facebook deviantart
