Water cats can morf and hide their merpet tails when in land

They're the best fishers and also good swimmers

Fun fact: the mith of cats being afraid of water is because they're afraid to drown, but merpets just evade it to continue with their morphosis

Some suuuuuper quick sketches of the Mer Peter AU... now with Tony Stark! 

As I said in the last post, Peter is a merm that was kidnapped and experimented on by Hydra, the Avengers rescue him and he’s nursed back to health by Tony at the compound and they end up forming a bond. 

I do not have the willpower to finish any of these sketches but if anyone wants to take these and color them, by all means feel free. My hand hurts.

i mostly do fanart for comics but i also mess around with doing little merpets like at the bottom and ive recently started experimenting with animating my art but that takes a lot longer to make so i dont post gifs quite as often all my art is tagged under either myart or bluecodedart on my blog :)

I’ve reached the last page of my sketchbook! It took me a little over a year to complete it, but either way, it feels like an achievement!

I decided that since Merpeterick were on the first page, I would end the sketchbook with the two of them on the last page as well. And don’t worry - they’re still very much in love.💕

The prompt for this mermay drawing was "mermaidize a friend" and I am neither talented enough nor patient enough to draw a friend close enough to capture them when I'm trying to catchbup on mermay drawing so I chose myself. Wasnt until my cat jumped up on the table that I realized ibshouldve just done her but I did sneak her in as a lil mercat
