I know that was two weeks ago, but it still feels unreal. @squadleaderchase lol you're fine, everyone does it. game announcers, the one award guy who gave us our pit safety award, and other teams. there's a ton of hawk themed teams in the district and it doesn't help that the CHS Platter keeps purposefully mixing up all of our names haha (they've called us the RoboHawks several times I think). In any case, alll of the above to you also!

I'm a huge newbie to cosplaying, and I was wondering what I should use, first of all to seal makeup and body paint, and second of all to seal glitter or paint into fabric, if there is such a thing. Thanks!

To seal makeup and body paint you can use something called a sealing or fixative spray. You can find some at most places that sell makeup. It's a spray that you mist over your makeup and it puts a protective layer over top to prevent it from rubbing off. Just keep in mind that some body paints (usually creams) need to be set before they can dry / be sealed. This is usually in the form of a powder. For paint on fabric, usually fabric paints or acrylic paint mixed with fabric medium will stay on it's own. You can iron the fabric or put it in the dryer to "heat set" paint and that will help prevent it from washing off in the washing machine. If you are just concerned about the paint rubbing off, it should be fine once it dries. Glitter can be attached to fabric with glue, I suppose you could do another layer of glue over top to get it to stay in place. This might make the fabric stiffer than you want it to be though. I've used this for my don't hug me I'm scared notepad skirt, throwing the glitter on between layers of liquid latex. I want the dress to be stiff so it works.
