So I have seen a lot of people saying that the first years shouldn’t have joined the plf war but I feel like people are forgetting that they are absolute chaos children and have already been involved in so many villain attacks that they probably would have gone even if the pros said no. Like they already disobeyed that direct order during the Kamino fight. They have their provisional licenses now so it’s no longer illegal for them to fight and you guys expect them to sit in the dorms and do nothing? These feral children are not going to just sit back and wait! if you watch the pros put most of them on evacuating civilians and the rest were either at the very edge of the forest as far away as the pros could probably put them with out the students felling like it wasn’t enough or a handful of them that were needed because of their incredibly specific quirks who were then immediately evacuated by fatgum when they had handled their part. The only reason any of the kids were involved in the fight was either because they decided to defy direct orders and confront the villains themselves or because shigaraki pulled a bull**** move and came back from the dead to wake up gigantomachia and the pros hadn’t planned for him waking up. Long story short the pros hadn’t planned the choice of involving the students and trying to keep them as safe and far away as possible or not involving the students and the students joining anyway and probably somehow ending up right in the middle of the fight because their luck is just that bad.

Look at this kid he kept fighting with his arms broken and you expect him to do nothing when he’s perfectly healthy? you crazy? (same if you expect his class to let him fight alone)

Hi, so I just found out this is a crossover when reading a fic, and this is like my childhood and the anime obsession I have. Anyhow what bugs me is how they never make Danny's quirk make sense.

Like duh it's not a quirk, but he's smart he can bullshit his way out of it with science stuff. So here's the most logical way I could think about:

Danny got his quirk in a Lab accident. It converted his blood to ectoplasm slowly changing his overall scientific structure. Because of this he is literally an artificial entity, he doesn't have organs and is technically a blob of good. The 'ecto blasts' and "ice' are literally part of him, which is why it tires him out.

His ghostly wail is basically using the ectoplasm to amplify sound waves and exhausts him because he needs to move it in an exact motion, and that level of precision exhausts him.

He can control the plasma to scatter so thinly that he is intangible/invisible, the flight is the fact the plasma is lighter than actual human material and gravity doesn't affect him, or that he's not solid enough for it to weight him down.

Yeah I know there are other abilities, but same basic idea, that fits the idea of a 'single' quirk. He would stand out due to his ability to use it in so many ways, it shows how inventive he is, but not with the actual quirk. Because honestly before DP, I never thought of ghosts having blasts, or wails, or ice. So ya know it works?

I've never seen a crossover fic with this type of classification for his quirk, and I feel like that's a missed opportunity. Cause it makes sense? Also feel free to take the idea if you want it. Love to know what ya though of it too,

i need you guys to understand i can get behind pretty much any ship as long as i can justify it. and i can justify a lot of things. i’m really good at that. i am not restrictive about the things i ship. and when i “ship” something i need you to know that (unlike the majority of humankind apparently) i am not thinking about sex. and without sex, the spectrum of romantic and platonic gets so incredibly gray that i personally do not feel like it’s worth distinguishing. in other words, when i say i “ship” something, i mean i believe these people have a very intimate bond that i think is worth exploring across a variety of contexts.

let me make this clear: labels are irrelevant to me. i am not distinguishing platonic ships vs romantic ships because without sex the difference is negligible to me. i am a big fan of casual (non-sexual) intimacy in relationships across the board ok.

so when i say “i love poly class A” i need you to understand that it is an incredibly complex web of dynamics that i cannot explain in simple words. i will have to write a million fics for you to understand it. but it allows me to explore multiple ships without having to distinguish universes or previous relationships, ok. it’s easier and a whole lot of fun.

i also have contradictory ships sometimes! endhawks and dabihawks, for example. those cannot exist simultaneously, but i do find them both compelling for different reasons (endhawks is more hawks and dabihawks is more keigo. it makes sense). cases like this do depend heavily on universe + characterization (aka how events preceding the ship have affected its existence) and i like to explore that. it’s interesting.

in short: i am very casual about shipping and i like lots of things! i am also not a sex-focused person or writer, so that has very little bearing on what i ship!! it’s about the emotional complexity and vulnerability and intimacy! those are the important things!!
