The Keilens are Fostering
Per Michael's latest IG post, she and Brandon are now foster parents to two boys.
The way they have written about the experience makes me believe that they are being very mindful of the trauma and baggage these kids have. I don't think these boys are going to be social media props. It looks like the Keilens are providing a loving home for these kids, whether that's for a week or months or forever.
(Obviously we don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but. . . IDK. This tiny glimpse isn't setting off any alarm bells for me.)
IDK y'all. I don't have any snark here--I'm genuinely happy for Michael + Brandon. Fostering is a huge decision that not everyone is cut out for. Good for them for taking that step.

Brandon and Michaela QnA
It was mostly boring as fuck!
Which of your younger siblings looks most like you?
Michaela says Addie for her. Michaela says Christy for Brandon.
Who expressed interests first?
It was love at first sight for Michaela and it took 5 more years before they started talking. She had just turned 19. She did not express interest first but she had it first. She carried pictures of him in her Bible and on her wall.
Brandon actually expressed interest first.
How do you know if he's the one?
Michaela says this question is hard but she first noticed Brandon's heart for the Lord. It was a long time after they started talking, but once they did they agreed on all the major things. Her parents and friends' support assured her as well.
Brandon says the book "Getting to Know Who You're Going to Marry" helped him. It asked questions he would never think to ask.
Can you give BTS info on the filming of BUB?
Michaela had to get used to filming. It took her a while to be comfortable. A normal week would vary during each season of life. It usually was 2-3 days a week of filming at the big house. Production layed out activities or vacations they would take that they would not have been able to do otherwise. There would be 2-3 days of interview every few weeks.
Do you argue? How do you resolve conflict?
Michaela says they don't argue due to their personalities and don't have much to argue about. Brandon says that is not true. Michaela then corrects herself and says they discuss things basically.
Brandon sometimes likes to take a walk to process things. Michaela is more of an external processer.
Brandon says they don't believe in screaming and yelling when arguing.
Someone said they are praying for them to have a baby.
Michaela said this means the world to them that people care about this.
How is it possible for Michaela to balance time between siblings?
Michaela said this is not possible for her (I'm assuming because she has so many). She tries to be available to all her sisters. There are different sisters who are more or less busy. Kolter got his tonsils out and a couple weeks ago and spent every day with the Smith family. Right now, she sees Alyssa and Erin the least because they live in Florida. I don't know why she answered this as only a sisters question because the original ask was about siblings in general.

Parental Hell at The Overlook Film Festival
When I think of how the horrors of parenting are usually represented in genre cinema, I picture cruel, demonic children. In most horrors & thrillers that prompt you to think twice about having kids, the prompt is a warning that the kids themselves can be absolute nightmares, typified by titles like The Bad Seed, The Omen, Orphan, and We Need to Talk About Kevin. I was treated to an entirely…

All proceeds from the event benefit the charity Give Kids the World, a nonprofit aiming to provide kids with critical illnesses a weeklong theme park resort experience free of charge, all in service of their happiness.
The event is co-hosted by Sunnyland Productions, Let Me Explain Studios and Mann of 1000 Thoughts, in cooperation with the wonderful folks of Mollycord. You can expect Q&As with our guests, games, premieres of fan projects and more. It's going to be a really fun event and I invite you all to join.

Note
I wonder who Lawson is talking about when he says two babies born in October maybe three maybe Michaela & Brandon are adopting.
Yeah, I think we are all wondering what he was talking about. Michaella and Brandon adopting crossed my mind also. Makes more sense to me then any of the others being pregnant. But I don't think we will hear anything about it until they actually have an adopted baby. So I think we just have to wait and see
