Girls' Night

[A short blurb based on that girls' night chat post I made.]

"I'm gonna shape your brows," Cirrus says, studying Dew's face intently, licking her lips as she thinks, "other than that, I think maybe some eyeshadow?"

"Do what you gotta do." Dew shrugs, watching Cumulus and Aurora pick through the carefully curated outfits Mist has pulled from her closet in the mirror in front of him, "Not that one."

Aurora makes a disappointed noise and drops the short, demin mini skirt she was holding onto the bed, "But it's cute..."

"No, I agree with Dew," Cumulus hums, picking up a soft looking balloon skirt, "it's cold out, cute or not, we can't have our honeypot freezing his balls off."

"Been there, done that." Dew scoffs, sitting up straight when Cirrus takes hold of his face to start working on his eyebrows, "Tell me about the mark."

"He's the owner of a megachurch," Mist says, pulling a file out from under her pillow, "middle aged, married but looking if you catch my drift. Two kids from his marriage, a son and a daughter, and a couple 'little secrets' he's sending hush money to..."

"Funded by the parishioners?"

"One hundred percent!" Mist chirps amusedly, "The rest you can read yourself when Cirrus is done fixing that ugly mug of yours."

"If I didn't wanna risk losing one of these press ons, I'd get you for that." Dew says, emphasizing his point with a click of his manicured nails, then looks at them appraisingly, "I'm starting to think we should have gone with a nude shade, this red is, like, a lot..."

"That's the point-" Mist starts to say, but a knock at the door has her slipping the file back under her pillow and motioning for the others to stay still, "Who is it?"

"It's Rain."

A pause.

"Is Dew in there with you?"

Mist glances at Dew, who carefully slides out of his seat in front of the vanity and climbs into her wardrobe.

"No??" she does her best to sound offended as she opens her bedroom door, "It's girls' night, he'd stink up the room with his boy germs."

Cumulus, Cirrus, and Aurora wave from their newly assumed positions of the bed, sat around watching a video on Mist's laptop.

"Oh..." Rain pouts, "I haven't seen him all day, I'm worried."

"Aw, missing your boytoy?" Mist coos, pinching his cheek, "Pretty sure Frater Imperator stole him away to go over some documents in the archive room. Poor bastard is probably balls deep in some ancient tome transcribing some disturbed monk's ramblings."

"I do remember Copia muttering about having to redo some transcripts because of how Terzo fucked up the sorting system years ago..." Cumulus adds, and Cirrus nods in agreement.

"We have an archive room??" Aurora blinks, having genuinely not known this information before, "How have I not seen it??"

"Because it's the kind of place where if you so much as breathe wrong, someone jumps on you and accuses you of endangering hundreds of years old books." Mist says, "Only a handful of people have access, and as big of a dumbass as he is, Dew used to do archival photography and preservation work before he came here."

"Yeah, Dew's a big ol' nerd!" Cirrus laughs in the direction of the wardrobe, imagining the middle finger Dew is undoubtedly holding up behind closed doors.

"That would explain why he hasn't answered my texts..." Rain murmurs, taking his phone out of his pocket, "He gets really absorbed in that kind of stuff. Oh, I hope he remembered to eat..."

"Tell you what." Mist pats his shoulder, feeling a little bad on Dew's behalf for having to ghost his boyfriend for the sake of their mission, "If I see your man roaming the halls like a zombie later, I'll send him your way for make up cuddles and snacks."

"Would you?" Rain asks, sounding adorably hopeful, "I appreciate it!"

Another short moments of chitchat later, and Mist's door finally clicks shut, and Dew emerges from the wardrobe looking a little down about the mouth.

"I'll give it a minute and then I'll text him." Dew says, digging into the pocket of his sweatpants for his phone, "I couldn't message him while I was waxing..."

"You should send him a pic along with the text as an apology, like, 'Sorry I was so busy! Make it up to you ;)' and, boom!" Cumulus suggests, wiggling her fingers, but frowns when Dew frowns at his phone, "Aw, gumdrop, it's okay if you wanna dip and go see your boy..."

"No, it's just... I do feel bad, but I want to do this, too, and I just... I feel bad that I can't tell him what's going on." Dew rubs the back of his neck, "...Fuck it."

"Huh?"

Dew picks out a dress from the piles.

"I'm not gonna take a photo... I'm gonna make him an entire fucking album."

"Not in that you're not." Mist tuts, going through her closet again, "You need silk and lace, and a pearl necklace-"

"Mist!" Dew flusters.

"The actual kind, I think it'd pull the look together, plus, fish boy would appreciate the added details..."

"So is the plan to take the photos first and then go catch us a dirty preacher to steal his stolen relics or is this an after kind of deal?" Cirrus asks, "Because if it's an after thing, I can grab my polaroid camera and we can make it extra special for him with some physical photos."

"Can we skip the heist altogether and just take tasteful nudes of Dew? That sounds a lot more fun than robbing some crusty dude..." Aurora wonders aloud.

"No, duty calls as they say." Mist proclaims, hands on her hips, "Work first, play later, ya know."

"Aw."

Nothing screams warm, cozy, and boujee than fur. Whenever I wear mini skirts I LOVE to wear the most prettiest/dolly leggings I can get my hands on. I’m not really into claw clips but the flower hair clips was a little staple piece for me this spring/summer.

Dongsik needs $ to fund his search for Yuyeon and decides to dip his toe into sex work. Juwon, under his father's guidance, is investigating Dongsik for Yuyeon's murder from afar. Kiwan sees this as an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone--get Juwon close to his target (honeypot pillow talk kinda thing) and also deal with the 'issue' of Juwon's persistent virginity.

Other "mini" lines

To get my main crew more Gen 4 and above, I needed to breed other half of a pedigree for some of the previous crew members. First off, was Vunde, a 2nd Gen with fluke eyes. His genetics are for the regular teal. I adopted two new Dalis and bred him a mate, who I named Doria. She doesn't look like much, but she's got an interesting recessive eye color! Pink! Their cutie pie puppy got named Vunderful.

But Vunderful is only 3rd generation! I want to get to 4th at least. Can I breed Vunderful with an unrelated Dal I already have or do I need to breed another mini line for him?

I had an unrelated 3rd gen pup! Honey from Abby. Honey also has fluke eyes and she just carries teal.

So Honey and Vunderful had the sexy little thing Honeypot.

2 spots! 1 selfie ear! Honeypot is delightful! She's 4th gen so I'm definitely keeping her.

But then in my pursuit of a spotless dal, I got to thinking, Denmark is also 4th gen. And he's only got a few spots. Let's see if I can't get a spotless from them!

Unfortunately, Denpot and Honeymark both have about 3 spots. So close! But these means these two are 5th gen. And you know who else is 5th gen? Aly, another spot-lacking dal I have.

So I bred Aly to both.

Esther will perform Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter, Naked in Mahattan by Chappelle Roan, and I Can Do It With A Broken Heart by Taylor Swift.

Vulpe Blanford, piano performance

Vulpe will perform a piano rearrangement of the La La Land soundtrack.

Oh this is fascinating because I was workshoping a post that came to very different conclusions (except for Style. but also i feel like Style could wear mini-skirts).

Like, as much as I love butch Fadel (and boy, do I love butch Fadel) I keep coming back to the idea of that character not wanting to be noticed. And gender non-comformity gets you noticed. But "too much" femininity also does. So I see Fadel as carefully avoiding both, but in a way where you can see she'd like being gnc but doesn't dare? And she'd get more butch by the end?

Bison I would dress pretty much exactly the same unless she's on a honeypot mission (and even then I would go for "cute" rather than "sexy"). That's a character with a strong sense of self and wants, and those could be the outfit of a slightly cheeky tomboy. I feel that it translates well.

I get the idea of a more fem presentation for Kant in theory (he leans into what's expected of him, it would suit that aspect of his character) but in practice it feels wrong to me. I think I imagine her as presenting more fem when she has to, but not being comfortable with it. Cue the captain making pointed remarks about her masculine outfits.

while i joke about them being all masc lesbians now, i Do think gender presentation would def be different if they were all actually written as lesbians. like as much as i love Butch Kant, i do think a more femme presentation would work, same with bison as i think the whole femme fatale/honeypot situations would lend to that. fadel however would be Full Butch to the point most people assume she’s a man at first glance (and thats how she likes it, both for #transmasc reasons and it also means men mostly leave her tf alone). style… honestly dk. feel like she’d be kind of fluid. crop tops are still a staple tho. of course.

The worlds worst impromptu honeypot mission ever !!! Or, well, the moons worst ever impromptu honeypot mission, technically

Hinata has basic honeypot training given to all kunoichi, but no real experience bc she was a) too politically important to pressure into those kinds of missions, and b) just not good at them/built for it. So she's never been given any

Meanwhile Kakashi has no formal academy training for it, but has been on multiple successful honeypots-- both as backup for the bait, and acting as the bait himself

Their biggest obstacle is actually just Toneri's own mini conflicts and freak outs over whether this is allowed or not. They're accidentally playing themselves bc if they both try to act like they're pursuing him at the same time, it only winds him up further

Their best bet is probably trying to get only 1 of them to get him to fully commit to them, but this also doesn't work bc if he's giving only one of them attention then he starts to get in his head ab "neglecting" or "cheating" on the other

AND he's a massive virgin loser who, again, has never experienced sexual attraction before seeing Kakashi and is dealing w it by both pretending very hard that it doesn't exist and also trying to keep Kakashi as close as possible + has some strict moral codes ab the rules of relationships and all that. So, the honeypot can literally only go so far before he's fucking booking it from the room to go have a breakdown somewhere else

Kakashi and Hinata have to put their heads together to try to figure out how to seduce him when he seems to be flipping wildly between moods and reactions to their tactics. They have no fucking idea what is going on in that head of his (it's a 10 car pile up in there) and even when their strategies do shake him, they can't tell bc he retreats before they can see the effects

Again tho, look on the bright side! He is very much thoroughly distracted by this fucking comedy of errors and no longer thinking ab destroying humanity. So. Job well done?

saw your kaguya/sakumo and raise you toneri otsutsuki being in love with kakashi instead of Hinata if only because i think it'd be really, really funny for the team to have to deal with the fact that a sorta god wants their sensei. and also for Hinata. like you go to rescue your sister only for her kidnapper to demand your hokages hand in marriage for her eyes and return. what the fuck do you do.

I do think that objectively, the funniest thing u could do here is start off w the canon of him falling in love with Hinata, kidnapping her, all that-- but then he sees Kakashi and has Thoughts And Feelings(TM) and is now like. Conflicted.

This man does not know what polyamory is (and obviously neither Hinata or Kakashi would be interested either way, probably especially bc the other is involved bc that is weird and uncomfortable) and has never really faced what "love" truly is outside of this little box he has never been challenged ab

So he's like suddenly getting super in his own head ab what is love and if he's "cheating" on Hinata by feeling a certain way ab Kakashi (boy she dont even LIKE you) and he's never experienced sexual attraction before but oh man kakashi is DOIN smthn to him rn and he doesnt know whats happening

Meanwhile Hinata and Kakashi are on the worst impromptu field trip of their LIVES and its made extra awkward bc like.
