No wonder Chat Noire didn’t stop Crawford from volunteering as bait. Dark Venus’ powers don’t work on him. “Hold still and let me shoot you!” More arrows went flying towards Crawford in an angry barrage. The few that manage to hit him had no effect. Seeing Crawford so unfazed from her powers must be getting to Dark Venus as her aim got sloppier. With every arrow she released, her attacks got easier for Crawford to dodge. “You want me to love you that badly? I feel so special,” Crawford sarcastically said as he continued to run in the middle of the street. Ten wasted arrows later, and Dark Venus screeched. “WHY DON’T MY ARROWS WORK ON YOU?!” “Aww, don’t be mad. It’s not you, it’s me.~” “Maybe it is.” The sheer ice in her voice was enough to make Crawford freeze up. Dark Venus took this chance to shower him with arrows but like all her past attempts, they had no effect other than increasing her frustration. “Maybe the magazines were right after all. You’re just a heartless womanizer who would dump a girl once she bores you. You’re no better than Leo!” Every word was burning with rage, by the time she made her accusation, she hit her boiling point. “... You know that’s not true,” Crawford weakly denied, covered in arrows that were slowly fading away. It would’ve been a gruesome sight had the arrows been purely solid and he wasn’t immune. “Then why were you never there for me when I need you?!”

So I was drawing the corners of my OC's own love square when a thought sprung up: the beta couple has something like that but with akumasonas. It helps their akuma forms have interracted with their love interest's normal form. Here, we got Darklake! Blake x Natalia's akuma form, Dark Venus. Anyone this akuma shoots with her arrows would love her! Except it doesn't seem to change anything with Blake. Little does she know, he already loves her but he sucks at showing it. He's didn't do anything bad... He's just not doing anything at all! He got worse when she announced she has a boyfriend and he's been avoiding her since. But then, come Valentine's Day, her boyfriend dumped her horrendously in public. And Natalia had the crash out of her life.

Yup. This is BTaL's beta couple. They're somehow doing worse than the main pair with their secret identity shennanigans.

Next up, gonna do Natalia x Volpino in a few days. I'm not sure if they'll have an excerpt cause I haven't gotten to writing that part yet.

A continuation from this post, here’s more grandparents! Specifically for Such a Noble Sacrifice, you say?

First up are Audrey’s parents!

Unlike Audrey, Madeleine and Henri are surprisingly normal. They enjoy semi comfortable jobs and are content with life. Madeleine has golden hair and brown eyes, with Henri grey (once brown) hair and blue eyes.

They were present meeting Andre, Audrey’s wedding and Chloe’s birth, but after that contact reduced until it stopped as Audrey became busy. They don’t find out about the crash until Chloe turns 15 (it happened when Chloe was 10) Madeleine is furious no one contacted them after. Madeleine’s temper gets the better of her which leads her to argue a lot with Edward and especially Bernard.

Henri gets along with Sabine and Tom due to baking. Henri’s job is where Audrey got her craving for sweet things from. Madeleine and Alice get along due to liking gardening.

When they come back, they spend their time trying to calm Audrey and Andre down, looking after Chloe. Though Madeleine does get an uncomfortable feeling around Gabriel. She’s known the Agreste’s since Audrey and Gabriel were in school, and always thought Gabriel was spoilt. But now Gabriel’s an adult with power to throw around (and the magic driving him/Nathalie mad) he’s acting oddly. Considering it’s around their child and son in law, it makes them worry about their safety. So when the truth does come out of Hawkmoth, Madeleine flies into another rage and is within a hairs inch murdering Gabriel/Nathalie.

Next are Andre’s parents!

Jacqueline surprisingly still has her black hair and amber eyes. Eugene had brown hair and deep blue eyes. He also loved music and taught Andre how to play the piano and started to teach him a bit of violin.

When Andre was 7, Eugene died on his way to pick him up from school. Jacqueline blamed Andre for this, saying that if he didn’t exist Eugene wouldn’t have died. Combined with her job, she heavily neglected Andre. Only truly being there for holidays and school events. This lead to Andre looking after himself or she’d leave him with his physically abusive parental grandfather Maurice, who turned to alcohol after Eugene’s death. Maurice hates Andre, partially because of how much Andre looks like Eugene.

Andre only started to communicate with people once Emilie joined his class. She was placed next to him and they slowly became friends. By the time Emilie dragged him away for uni the main parental figure in his life was Edward. From there he met Audrey in uni, got married and had Chloe etc.

Both his mother and grandfather do come back into his life. Maurice comes back after finding out he’s mayor, just so he can take money. Though he does die, because Gabriel enables his alcohol use until he dies by alcohol poisoning. Jacqueline only comes back to give him Eugene’s violin and tell him his father would be proud of him. Before she leaves again, telling him she understands if he never wants her in his life again.

Kim Tae-Yong (김 태용), originally from Seoul in South Korea. Came to Paris with her parents at the end of S3. Kind of obsessed with superheroes, followed all kinds of blogs about them back in Korea. She's probably going to end up with a miraculous, I'm just not sure which one, and she loves indie horror movies and trashy romance books. Uhhhh, a bio for her is coming soon, but that's all I have for now.

I will draw her soon, I swear, I just kind of ended up making her on picrew, oops. Anyways, it's called Rkane Picrew, and I don't currently have the link. I have other ocs in the works, don't worry.

Taking a break from requests cause I miss my OCs, sorry. Here's my future gen oc's take on Marichat: it's closer to Ladrien than Marichat with the guy having a crush on his hero partner. But the hero partner? It's a little ambiguous on her part. At the very least, he caught her attention, if only cause she thinks he's a funny little goober with quirky pajamas and the craziest leaps in logic she's ever seen. She's also amazed at his stalking- er, keeping track of akumas. It's a more comprehensive chart than even Monsieur Ladyblogger's of course it would be, he's there on ground zero every time not even that blogger has this perfect of an attendance record. So much so that she once tried to recruit him to be something like an informant to her.
