Nicktoons Unite Zine Interest Check

(Note: there is now a blog!! @unitezine !!)

Next year, the year of 2025, the original Nicktoons Unite video game will be TWENTY years old !!! So, in celebration, I was thinking about hosting a nicktoons themed zine!!

It would be nicktoons in general, allowing pretty much any nicktoon! My idea is that, to go along with the games, it'd be a focus on Crossover relationships- but no romantic shipping (unless canon).

As of right now, I'm thinking about it being a free pdf zine! I don't know if I'll do anything physical, merch or otherwise- it all depends on timeframe and if I get any help, ahah. IF we go that route, any and all profit will go to charity :)

So, below I've placed the Google form for the interest check! I'll probably keep it open for a few weeks to see how it goes !!

Wow, in this day and age we have acronyms for everything that title is gibberish...

Anyway, I felt pretty proud of this drawing before, but now I'm not so sure, because I've just seen so much awesome and beautiful art on this platform where everyone's found their specific artsyle.

Speaking of specific artstyle, I tried my best to match the show, even if I barely watched a wink of it!

His full name is Sterling Chester Clark, everyone calls him Clark. He's a fifteen year-old male in the tenth grade, he likes computer science, math, english, but above all else he loves musical theatre. He's old-fashioned, oblivious, and has OCD.

I've got a few more OCs brewing in my mind soup so I'll be sure to draw those when I decide to stop bedrotting 🥲

Powerpuff Girls (2000-2003) :: this is on a lot of lists huh? Baby’s first steps on the internet and first look at fandom, made lots of OCs, jumpstarted my love for drawing and for cartoons

Sonic the Hedgehog (2003-2005) :: taught me to draw a little better since I could only draw like. PPG. again many OCs, loved to do art trades with other fans on deviantART

Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends (2004-2006) :: I used to RP a lot on oekaki boards with friends. ALSO made ten million OCs and had a ton of lore for them

Chowder / The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack (summer 2008) :: they go hand in hand but Flapjack especially introduced me to a lot of people, some I still talk to today. we spent a whole summer online together and it was my first big fandom experience I’d say

Adventure Time (spring 2010) :: early AT days only!! a lot of my Flapjack friends were still there and again we had such a wild time on iScribble when that was a thing. I met @mishacakes during this time!

Phineas and Ferb (summer 2010) :: this one like…launched my fame on deviantART lmao. I don’t know why. I guess the previous two fandoms helped but people went wild for my anime-esque PnF art lmao

Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil (summer 2010-late 2012) :: uhh yea obviously this is the biggest one. met my best friend @agithahime and a bunch of others. Yes it’s a very small fandom at all times but I got to be a big name fan and honestly that was fun as hell. this show literally kept me alive in a bad time I will love it and the experiences that came with it for the rest of eternity

Invader ZIM (2001-2002, then 2005, then 2019 and on and off until 2022-2024 where it got the most intense LOL) :: welp the space bug has been with me a long fucking time. but it wasn’t influential (except for some early drawing inspo as a kid) until 2022 when I started interacting with the fandom for real. I’ve made a lot of friends and I love them all dearly and I hope we stay friends even when I wander off to other fandoms 💜💜💜

After finishing the watch-through of MLaaTR, I’ve started to watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood for the first time, and just got to the chimera ep. I already knew the twist but honestly with how much the fandom put on it I expected it to happen over the course of an ep or two. Still despite knowing about it it hurts to watch and yeah, I get the memes a lot more now
