woke up this morning thinking about de-aged characters and Klee and while I've already de-aged Kaeya once and want to focus, in fic, on Jean and Klee (on the lam) in the Jean de-aging fic, I am right this moment idly enjoying the scenario where Kaeya ends up, like, four. young enough that Klee is the Responsible One. and he's scared of the sky and knights and animals and doesn't speak Mond (fortunately Auntie Gold taught her the one he does!) and wants to go home to his mom and dad :< and this is how Jean and Albedo end up on a frantic dash across Teyvat as Klee helps tiny Kaeya search first Dragonspine, then the Chasm, then the desert for a gate into Khaenri'ah to meet his mom and dad. Alice is working overtime to ensure it's fun and non-deadly, but only for the darling children. <3 she knows her nephew can take care of himself

Aelwyn, for who good is not good enough, caves and asks Gorgug for help. Who finds a way to make her crutches extend, bend and move to support her arms, elbows, shoulders. Makes them connect to her back, her hips, down her legs .

They no longer look much like crutches anymore, it’s a thin, light framework that supports her entire body, that moves her exactly the way she wants, that allows her to stand with her back straight for more than 5 minutes for the first time in two years. The exoskeleton glows with abjurative runes and the outline of a powerfull ward is visible over her body, deflecting blows like steel armor.

New spells rest in her memory, mechanical and precise if nature in a way that the arcane inks in her spelbook can’t articulate. Spare the Dying, Resistance, Cure Wounds, Sanctuary.

Her joints still ache, she tires fast and even after all this time it is still hard to control the venom in her words, still hard to accept help and kindness without it feeling like a wool blanket on freshly flayed skin. But she has found something that is wholly hers, found something to be proud of that isn’t tinged with approval from her parents.

Aelwyn still can’t walk without support, but the frame folding her up is crafted by her own hands. Maybe everything will be allright.

back again with another headcanon list! what are the dudes showering habits/preferred soaps?

p1: uses fruity scented soap, for hair and body wash. i think he'd find the super masculine scents too overwhelming, and unscented soap doesnt make him feel like he 'smells' clean. i imagine he showers a lot because of his paranoia about an illness going around, but doesnt always wash his hair, so it can get pretty gross feeling.

p2: he uses good ol' white bar soap. i dont think hes the type to fuss about how he smells, as long as he cant smell himself he thinks thats good enough. less time at the store too, since he doesnt have to pick anything specific out and can just grab a big pack of the stuff. doesnt use any soap on his hair.

p3: uses that gross over the top manly shit p1 hates, on the rare occasion he DOES shower. you know the kind- '8-in-1' and has the color of tar. probably calls his sweat-stink his 'natural musk'

p4: not very picky. has his prefrences, not liking things that are strongly scented in either direction, but still liking SOME scent. cucumber or pine are his favs probably. tends to just use whatever he has though, which is probably hotel soaps. actually WASHES HIS HAIR though, with shampoo

The FBI finds out about the bribery and tells him, "hey. 20-something young man over there. you don't need to bribe Lestrade anymore, we can come over to you if we find some cases difficult to solve. adiós". Sherlock drags John to every single case he's worked on, despite John complaining because 'I HAVE A THESIS DUE AT 2 AM'.
