i’m just imagining james waking up super early, trying to sneak out without waking anyone up, flying around in circles trying to find the best spot and balancing in his broom in a weird position to get ‘the best angle’ while trying not to fall

he’d definitely have this big speech prepared for when he gives it to remus and he’d make a copy to put on a wall in the shrieking shack so that he’ll have it even if he loses the other one
