Mini-Review: Mossbadger - Positive!

I’m calling this a mini-review because I didn’t actually order a lolita dress or skirt in this order, but I did get a handful of other things. Mossbadger is an American indie brand that makes lolita clothing, accessories and stationary/paper goods, and they also have some print-on-demand casual items. Elf inspired coord to watch the lord of the rings musical. Despite having near no interest in lord of the rings, I actually really thoroughly enjoyed it. My gf is a huge fan and she liked it too, so that's a good sign!!

Day 10 What are your most used accessories / bags / shoes / filler items?

For shoes it’s a no brainer, my rhs and rhs boots are so versatile and comfortable so they’re always my go to. They go with pretty much everything while still adding so much. I really wish there was a brand that offered my size of rhs with the actual wood finish soles… since Antaina no longer seems to. If anyone knows of anywhere lmk

These three bags are so versatile but give such different vibes! I use them all a lot

With accessories I really tend to zero in and buy ones that very specifically go with dresses so I don’t have many that I reuse and are versatile across the board…

My mossbadger rosette I bought at nightshade a few years back would probably be the choice though. I use it often in and out of lolita!

It might be a cop out to say my gold star clip but what sweet lolita coord doesn’t benefit from a star clip…? I love these things

My Great Lace Report

-rode through some interesting places on the way there like Mt. Horeb, WI with its troll theme

-arrived on Friday night and saw a lot of people already dressed up, I did too

-got to the zine panel late

-thank you to the people behind me that helped my dumb ass follow along

-the problem with going to something like this is it means I won't be the cutest person in the room

-the cutest people in the room btw were the 2 girls wearing the Sleepyland candyheart print and the girl wearing the Meta naughty cat newspaper print

-really everyone was dressed perfect though

-it seemed like everyone came there in groups and I was just kind of awkwardly alone ;-;

-I mean I went with my family but they have zero interest in fashion crap so

-people overuse the phrase "liminal space" but there's no other way to describe the areas that connected the hotel's event rooms

-fashion show was great!

-"gay men have been holding up the aesthetics of the Catholic Church like fucking Atlas" -said by a gothic lolita that I overheard

-my mom told me at some point she went looking for me and got yelled at for trying to walk into the vendor room

-speaking of which everyone had such cute stuff, I felt like an asshole for pausing at a booth and not buying anything

-I did get 2 Mossbadger rosettes and a Kittykaya necklace

-I want the Haenuli Winnie the Pooh print

-and the ETC cats and dandelions print, but it's really hard to choose a favorite colorway

-I think I may have spotted someone with less than wholesome intentions for being there?

-I was so wiped by the evening I missed the last 3 panels

-because it was Chicago and my mom and I know too much about true crime, we got on the subject of John Wayne Gacy, so if anyone on my floor heard someone say "BODIES IN THE CRAWLSPACE" that was me

-could not afford the tea party ticket, so I departed on Sunday

-I had fun and would go again and next time I'd have to try harder to not be such a wallflower

Finally made it to Harajuku Day LA after a long time away. I’m glad I did, because I saw some friends I hadn’t seen in a while. If you’re ever in Little Tokyo on the 3rd Saturday of the month, it’s worth stopping by!
