Since it’s around the summer time (AKA the time where I was most active in Kirby tumblr last year) I think it’s about time I told you all about a Kirby AU I came up with last year summer that I never told you all

The idea wasn’t THAT original, it was about Kirby being this ancient, all seeing powerful eldritch abomination that was feared by the cosmos before one day, where he went “this is boring ngl and it’s getting pretty lonely” so he changed his form into something smaller, restricted his powers and landed onto Popstar through a spring breeze without telling anyone, so most people who knew the eldritch being just assumed he disappeared one day

Yeah, back then, I haven’t really thought of any ideas to expand that AU in a interesting way (beyond the Dark Matter group being pissed off that a fellow eldritch being is now all nice and cutesy so that makes them more of a looming threat and maybe Void Termina actually being his past self somehow?) plus I seen it done way better in this fandom (including Something In The World amazing “Your Eldritch Pal Kirby” AU) so I decided not to talk about it back then and I kinda recycled it into a separate Mr. Star AU (cause funny)

But still, if I manage it come up with a interesting and unique idea for this AU, then I might come back to it!

Dedede is such a turd for this whole thing honestly like its not just abt him shooting a random guy out of the sky anymore it's like. Kirby and Mr. Star TOLD him that Mr. Star split into several pieces after being shot n needs his final piece back (Dedede has it), and Dedede said NO! He was NOT gonna give them that star piece without fighting for it!! He coulda ruined Mr. Star's life cuz he felt like being stubborn lmao???? That's Dedede for you, I guess.

I think thsi is the last time Kirby and Mr. Star see each other tbh-- they're friends but Mr. Star travels across space and never stays in one place very long, I think he just drops by planets to observe them (and this time was only different cuz Dedede shot him like a BITCH LOL). Though, I imagine after all of this has passed he still thinks of Kirby, Rick, Kine, and Coo as he travels through space years later.
