Current Location: my dining table - my work is hybrid, so this (suprisingly uncomfortable setup) is my desk twice a week.

Favourite picrew: I never really wore my space buns this high, maybe a bit lower… also the jewelry is a Chain Mickey homage obviously.

What's one thing you want in a picrew? I love a creative background and good sweater options. If left to my own devices, I’d be in a hoodie all the time, but it’s nice to spice things up!

Favourite thing you’ve created (or seen created) for the fandom? Hard to choose! it's a tie between some @galladrabbles and these @gallacrafts.

Why is it your favourite? I’ve been knitting since I was a kid but never really got beyond the scarf phase lol - and Season 1 Not-a-booty-call/“Whatever, see ya” Mickey wore that green scarf and I knew I had to recreate it. The t-shirt is me attempting to draw for the tomato theme and I just think it would be so funny if Ian actually wore this outside.

Did it come easily or was it hard to create? For the scarf, it was all about finding the right yarn and also that cute patch that just appeared out of nowhere at the craft store. Drawing is hard because i don't know how 😆

Last ao3 fic you commented on? It was either on Shame-proof written by @ms-moonlight-inn and @notherenewjersey or A Song Only You Can Hear by @suzy-queued - both so good!

Biggest WIP heartache you’ve ever experienced? I’m usually OK with WIPs taking a while, truly… but oh man, I’ll copy @jrooc's answer and say Things Beyond Mistake by grayola. What a STUNNING work and we’re left just aching for what happens for those two. My second is Elevator Music by gallavichsecurity- another beautifully written one that I hope will continue one day. 

Favourite trope or head cannon you like included in a fanfic? I love enemies to lovers, the slower the burn the better 🫠🔥 . I’ve yelled about loving road trip plots a lot, so I loved Highway of Hedonism  by @roryonic (w/ beautiful art by @gallapiech).

Least favourite? I’ve never gravitated to mpreg   

Secret or surprising kink or trope? Never even knew A/B/O was a thing until i got here - hello! Same goes for Whump - once it clicked that it was an actual genre, it was like oh wow, i think i’ve been into this my whole life lol.

Describe how you feel after you’ve created something new? Er, shocked quite honestly. When I see that I actually have multiple things posted on AO3 I do wonder who that person is??

ok so. the church is held in the YMCA he worked at, so they have special permission to have church there . soda sings & is worship leader, pony helps plan events (he seems like such a perfectionist who literally could plan everything on his own . like let him make a yearbook or smth and it is gonna eat) johnny comes w them and helps runs errands (i am CONVINCED he can drive . i think he’d have a license, js not a car) . the curtis gang doesnt rlly come over like,, monday or tuesday nights (i havent decided) for bible study cause none of them could sit still enough for that bsfr

johnny will be gone for like. half the service and he just shows up w coffee and snacks because they’ll all be there a while

mind u . my uncle is the pastor at my church and i think he gets here from 7:30 - 8 am?? and church starts at 10:30 am. so they’re there for a while

i think johnny skips school twice a week (tuesdays and thursdays) . i think he’d find a way (get pony to help him manipulate staff) so he can wake up later and do his work at home or smth . so he’d help w the chirch some (alot)

Happy 70th Anniversary Muppets!!!

It's time to play the music! It's time to light the lights! It's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight!

Today, May 9th, marks the 70th Anniversary of the lovable Muppets first appearing on tv. Muppet Studio is still celebrating all year long with special events and highlighting different Muppets every week, but I thought it would be nice to focus on an attraction close to my heart, Muppet Vision 3-D!

Muppet Vision 3-D first opened at Disney's MGM Studios, now Hollywood Studios, on May 16th 1991 in what is now called Grand Ave. This show featured Kermit, Fozzie, Ms. Piggy, Gonzo, and a few other fan favorite Muppets in a 15 minute video that was suppose to showcase their "new" 3-D Muppet technology. During the show, Kermit would lead the guests through the studio with the help of the Swedish Chef running the projector. Throughout the tour, you get an inside look at Muppet Labs where they create the first "3-D Muppet," Waldo. Of course this causes a little chaos leading to the lab being sucked up by a large vacuum. We later see Ms. Piggy singing a lovely number with brief interruptions by Bean Bunny. Feeling like no body wants his help, Bean decides to run away with Waldo. This sparks a search party with Sweetums the Monster going out into the audience to look for him with the others still on screen. Once Bean is found, Sam Eagle uses Bean and Waldo to help with his finale "A Salute to All Nations, but mostly America." Of course the finale gets a little out of hand with fireworks landing in the penguin orchestra. This causes them to fire a "cannon" at the Swedish Chef. Thinking it was Waldo, Swedish Chef tries to fire a warning shots at the creature. When those didn't work, he decides to use a cannon causeing the theatre to "explode" into chunks. Kermit checks on everyone for a final good bye wishing for guests to come and see them again next time. As the curtain closes, Waldo makes a final appearance changing into Mickey Mouse telling the audience no one will recognize him now. It was going well until the vacuum came and sucked him away.

This amazing show was later opened in Disney's California Adventure on February, 8th 2001 with it's final showing on November 1st, 2014. The old building is currently being used California's version of Mickey's Philharmagic. A big reason a lot of people love Muppet Vision 3-D is because it was the last project Jim Henson completed right before his passing, and it was the last time Jim Henson voiced Kermit the Frog. During it's time at Hollywood Studios, Muppet Vison 3-D would also receive a dedicated store as well as Pizzeria Rizzo quick service restaurant opening across the courtyard featuring many gags and easter eggs hidden through out. They have also recently added a Muppet themed gondola to their sky liner system.

Unfortunately, Muppet Vision will be having it's final show on June, 7th 2025. So far, there are plans to record a show to preserve it digitally, and the Muppets will be taking over Rocking Rollercoaster in the near future. However, there currently isn't a set opening date, and I will be talking about my feeling on this in a later post.

A ray of sunlight ripples across his pillow and as soon as Mickey opens his eyes into wakefulness, he tries desperately to hold onto his dream, already fading so quickly and leaving him only with random flashes of red and green in his inner gaze.   One Hundred and Forty Seven Steps

Juggling a box of Fruit Rounds and a box of Froot Loops, trying to decide if getting the cheaper version will justify buying an extra box of snacks, Ian feels a tingling up his spine, and inexplicably his dick twitches in his boxers. The Divining Rod

Apparently catching on, the redhead below him grips his hips tightly. “Actually, this is my first time here. It’s a Friday afternoon, the day before their fifth wedding anniversary. Ian and Mickey are standing in the middle of the liquor store, quibbling over which vodka to buy, with Mickey throwing in gentle jabs about Ian’s low tolerance for alcohol. A Slice of Life

Conclusion: I definitely have a preference for writing in present tense! I'm working on it though. I also seem to lead with canon dialogue where I can. I also love to start everything with Mickey.

Conclusions: I write from Mickey's POV much more often than Ian's (which is interesting, because I think I tend to prefer reading fics from Ian's POV). I also open with narrative more often than dialogue. ALSO, I need to write more. 🙃

i saw some other people in other fandoms doing this and i thought it was fun and hadn't seen anyone from this one do it yet so ignoring the fact it's a monday where i am,,,,,

Colin has Ryan over and they’re playing a racing game on the stolen PlayStation 2. Mickey wants to hang out with them, wants to talk to Ryan and show him the bug he found outside but Colin keeps telling him to get lost and that babies don’t get to play games like this. Mickey’s not a baby, he’s seven years old.

It makes Mickey want to kick him so he does and then Colin is throwing down the controller and standing up. Mickey runs and he can hear Ryan’s laughter as Mickey lets out a yelp when Colin grabs him around the waist and picks him up. Mickey wriggles in his grip but then Colin plops him on the couch in between him and Ryan and he shuts up. 

Ryan has reddish hair and when he catches Mickey staring, he sticks his tongue out at him and laughs.

Current Location: living room couch in my new apartment. the upgrade from my last apartment is actually insane. i'm quite pleased.

Favourite picrew: any one in which i am channelling my lord and saviour, mickey milkovich. par exemple:

Favourite thing you’ve created (or seen created) for the fandom? as cringe as it is now several years removed, i was at one time one half of a very elaborate long-form mickey/ian rp on instagram that we regularly maintained throughout most of the "dark years" (2017-2019) when we thought s07e11 was the last time we'd ever see gallavich on screen. i feel like it brought a wide swath of the fandom together at that time, and it was a lot of fun.

less cringe, i like these two embroideries lol.

Why is it your favourite? gallavich embroidery got me through the pandemic lockdowns tbh. i taught myself stitches watching youtube videos and would work on pieces while binge watching different shows. (remember tiger king and squid games? lol. wild. feels like a lifetime ago.) made me feel at least semi-productive. also i love skeletons, so obvi that one is dear to me lol.

Did it come easily or was it hard to create? i am straight garbage at doing the lettering. i also rip out and restitch sections a lot.

Last ao3 fic you commented on? definitely left an unhinged comment on @suzy-queued's A Song Only You Can Hear fairly recently.

Biggest WIP heartache you’ve ever experienced? Grayola's Things Beyond Mistake was a punch to the tit, i won't lie. and i walked into anomalously's Promised Land with eyes wide open, knowing it was abandoned, and yet... 🥲i'm still subscribed to about 20 others i am still holding out hope for... 🥲🥲

Favourite trope or head cannon you like included in a fanfic? it would probably be easier to name the tropes i don't like lol. love a good soulmate fic. and got to love "only one bed" hehe. slow burn and friends to lovers/mutual pinning too. just inject that straight into my veins.

Least favourite? i wouldn't say it's a trope, but i strongly dislike fics where they sleep with other people. don't care for mpreg either. or mcd (unless its something supernatural wherein they are only dead temporarily -- then i love it).

Secret or surprising kink or trope? most surprising would be abo (minus the mpreg), since i had never even heard of it until about a year after i started reading fic. thank god for that comprehensive abo primer on a03 lol.

Describe how you feel after you’ve created something new? "i'm deleting this 30 seconds after i post unless someone likes it"

Top hype man you have that always helps you get across the finish line: i'm a lone wolf these days.
