What got me into kendrick was my dad making me listen 2 Money Trees, A.D.H.D, and I think m.A.A.d city. Ofc I heard HUMBLE. and LOYALTY on the radio and I hated it at first as a kid. I think I was like 10 at the time. Omg dude that shit was js so amazing... (I was born 2008 and DAMN. came out 2018 had 2 do some math... shit was very popular when it came out.) I used 2 be annoyed by rap bc I had a grudge against my dad at the time. It grew on me as I heard it and now that I'm older I js fucking love it.

It'd like 2 say I am genuinely so fucking insane about kendrick and Mr Moral and The Big Steppers. Crown made my twin cry, and Mother I Sober made me depressed for a WEEK. We Cry Together had me js in shambles the first time i heard it. So many impactful songs that rlly took me back and made me think. Some real shit in there that i think people overlook bc its not a hype beast album.

Like people LITTERALY made fun of the song crown in the reaction vids (i listen 2 music better with people) and i had 2 tuen it off bc it pissed me off. Nobody got the message in the songs or the album as deeply as me and my sibling. They will never get what its like lying down in a bed next 2 someone and js listening 2 an album 2gether. We take pauses in between songs and talk about what it means and how it felt. So much fun dude.

kendricks vulnerability about being stuck in a violent cycle and being that product of how u were raised. Bc tbh it isn't anyone's fault, u js keep living. One day shit makes sense, and you change. U change a lot, and u get better. I love that story. So starting with kendrick I fucking love the DAMN. album 2. His shit is a huge inspiration for how I see yuji and write him in fics or aus. Like he's so fucking amazing with the themes of God in the song. I rlly love how he tackled being weak or wicked. Be cruel or give in. Ouuughhh it's so good bc either way u will die from it. Being 2 weak 2 fight or dying mid battle. It's so good and dark, it tackles some heavy topics and stereotypes in the album and not 2 mention all the songs are fucking BANGERS. all of em are a BOP!! oughhh I especially love DUCKWORTH. Song gives me genuine chills. Same with the song BLOOD. Love it.

GNX is also amazing and super hype, js kendrick talking his shit 2 the industry and like about some personal life shit. I love how he blocks out some info I the songs...WE ARE 1000% GETTING A FUCKIN DELUXE OF IT!!! we have 2. I bet he's js waiting for the perfect time. I think kendrick is always one step ahead of society when he writes songs.

Then ofccc js like be fr Mr Moral and the big steppers... so personal and amazing about his journey of healing and coming 2 terms with trauma. Most people avoid the album or find it boring bc they js don't get it. He gets so human on that album and rlly opens up about some srs shit. Black trauma and the product of a mother who was SAed 2 his daddy issues... js sm more ofc on that album he comes 2 terms with and it js rlly opened my eyes dude. Some beautiful stuff there.

OFC I love tyler 2 death his music and I have a very stable and meaningful connection. Ofc I respect tyler for his craft but I'm not like crazy obsessed with him as I am 2 his music and how it helped me ect.

My favorite albums of his are: BASTARD, CMIYGL (deluxe ver ofc), and CHROMOKOPIA!!

BASTARD meant to sm 2 me bc at the time I listened 2 his music, it was in some tough times. The dark themes and extremely horrific lyrics were a huge comfort for me at the time. I was a disturbed teen, and at the time when Tyler made that album, so was he. It felt like I was growing up in a semi similar time, struggling with him while I climbed 2 becoming a better person. BASTARD was his first mixtape ever made and it shows but it never stopped being amazing 2 me. I still love that album 2 fucking death and litteraly nobody can pry it away from me. When I first got into tyler I heard him through the typical songs. Ofc earfquake and see u again... but also who dat boy which I loved way more than the other 2. When I get into music artists I start with the first album. And his album fuckign called 2 me. So here I am.

CMIYGL. Ohhhh where do I start... it's so summer vibes a braggy asf. It's also so so so medolic at times and very emotional. Shit I litteraly love in music js blended 2gether perfectly into an album. Dude I was so fucking happy 2 listen 2 this album. I listened 2 it after a hurricane I went through. I had a panic attack and finally sat down and listened 2 the whole thing myself and let me tell u. Shit was so fucking beautiful that I cried. It was so amazing and it cleared my mind aswell as like js fuckin changed my brain chemistry for life. After that I was a solid fan and rlly went 2 town and listened 2 all his albums. All his music is amazing for their each different reasons. I have 2 say my favorite tracks are STUNTMAN, CORSO, RISE!, and SORRY NOT SORRY. So fucking phenomenal.

The ofc CHROMAKOPIA. I don't even need 2 say anything. Its perfect. I waited for this album 2 come out and when it did I tweaked tffff outttt!!!! Ohhhh and it's popular asf in FL!!! I was so happy 2 hear him on the radio recently. STICKY is on the rap channels and I'm happy 2 hear that he made it even 2 me. Dude it's js such an amazing and important album with the shit he talks about. He's always so vulnerable in his albums. Cherry Bomb I think is the only one where he tried 2 hide himself and try 2 js experiment. Dude chromokopia... is so good... I hope I hear tyler in concert one day... I need his merch baddddd.
