It's a Connect 4 Bingo Challenge!

Pick one or more of the four themed StrickPage Bingo cards, and try to create four pieces that connect in any direction. Each card has sixteen spaces, with fifteen prompts and one free space for a wild card.

The WrestleDream card offers softer, more tentative new relationship prompts for a fluffier side or AUs.

The Full Gear card is your classic StrickPage horny violence with lots of vampire undertones.

When i joined tumblr i was mainly trying to post content like it was YouTube or Tiktok, but then i started meeting moots and eventually, i realized why i was still posting, because of them, i thought tumblr as something unique and how everyone communicated here was more special than anywhere else, this place has changed me to who i am today

Eventually no matter how much i did, this place lost its spark, very close moots of mine already moved on with their lives and lived on to a new chapter.

this place slowly turned into something different. A place i don’t call home anymore.

I mean, I dont really use gacha life/gacha club anymore so i dont have much recognization anymore, now most of my friends i made on tumblr either dont talk to me anymore, or just left tumblr for good. But i am not blaming them for anything as i felt like it was my fault for not being active as much as i used to.

Ive also been feeling unmotivated lately and all the promises i made before will most likely be scrapped or forgotten so its best if i cancel it all before living off lies for several months

It’s been 2 years and I really thought i would remain here longer i seriously did. But Like everyone else, its time to start a new chapter in life.

I will draw the starter drawing, blur it, and send it along to the first artist in line! Then, when they are finished, they will send the drawing back to me so I can blur it and send it to the next artist. Who will then send it back to me and so on and so forth.

How will we send you the drawing?

Since the quality in Tumblr dm's is, quite frankly, ass, the drawings will be sent to me via either Discord or email. Depending on your preferences please ask me for my @ or email address via DM.

Remember, each artist has two weeks! But you are welcome to send it to me early if you finish before the two weeks are up!

Some quick rules

The minimum required for your drawing is a lined and coloured piece. NO sketches and NO black and white. Fully rendered pieces are very much appreciated, but lined and flat colour is perfectly fine.

Digital art is preferred however if you intend to do traditional art PLEASE make sure that when you send me the picture of your work that it is scanned and not a simple photograph for maximum clarity.

I will be using a canvas size of 3000 x 3500 for the initial drawing, please keep a similar ratio so that they will all fit nicely on the final graphic!

when it is your turn, I will send you a dm on Tumblr or whichever communication method you prefer. If I receive no response/indication that you have seen the message after one week, your turn will be skipped. Sending updates on your progress isn't obligatory but it is appreciated!

My Dm's are always open for questions of any kind! Or even if you just want to stop by and chat!

I really cannot thank all of you enough. You all make the community a little better with every piece of art you post.

This project comes at a very difficult time for me. As well as having some personal issues, my family in Lebanon barely managed to escape the war with their lives, they got out but their neighbourhood is gone and the fate of many family friends remains uncertain. Our family in Venezuela is also severely struggling during this time of unrest, and we are not always able to contact them. I decided to host this project now because Hetalia has always been a deep comfort of mine and has helped me through many personal issues in the past. I longed for a sense of community and wanted to interact with more of you all. I could not have imagined so many of you would be interested in my small passion project, especially so many artists and creators who I have looked up to for years.

In addition to this, I wanted to thank all of you who hold Lebanon, Palestine, and Venezuela in your hearts during this time. It warms my heart whenever I see people in the Hetalia community (many of whom are participating here with us!) uplifting fundraisers, charities, and honest discussion about these events.

Perhaps you don't really care about this small message, but it was important to me to say it.

okay phew. I'm kinda burnt out today but I appreciate all of the support and kind words about my writing. for someone who posts so much I sure don't like it!!! lmao. it means a lot to me that people do, though, I hope I get to write here forever (on that note I am SO SORRY to people who follow this blog for writing, I barely ever post that) because I've had so much fun and I'm genuinely really grateful that I've gotten to know a community that I feel comfortable with. I don't have many followers here, but within the first few months of running this blog I've met people who are now like my favorite mutuals and friends. I'm looking forward to the future, hopefully one where I have more time to write. and organize this blog bc it's a chronic mess LOL

as for pomdove, I think I've decided it's time to move on. it's been causing me so much stress since decemberish and I wasn't kidding when I said it's like I'm in an abusive relationship with that blog because my cortisol hasn't been so high since 2021. some result of the unrepentant hate I get, not being able to write what I want to write, having to do my customer service voice (antithetical to my melancholic personality), guilt about not writing requests and answering asks/dms fast enough, comparing myself to other writers, my dwindling interest in the main cast, and, of course, oh my god I am not a content creator or a company Stop That

Some GX Remaster thoughts, as memed shared over on the NAC Discord the other night...

but tl;dr me seeing all the hype they did at these Japan events to promote the remaster, only to see what feels like little love being given to it as they make it another cropjob, only not even giving it a "20th Remaster" logo like with DM's:

From all the work they did advertising it as the "GX 20th Remaster," to not even bother updating this bit in the OP to include the logo like they did for the DM Remaster openings, I'm...

Still not fully sure how much of this is from whoever encoded the video (a "JibaRaws" release) because wHAT is this filter they added to whooshy scenes??? (Judai running in the city isn't even that whooshy??) wild sepia tone appeared

RIP, even less Yugi--but at least they seem to have thoughtfully cropped this shot since the same amount of his face is there

They didn't try to fix the error with the one orange "face-down card" Big Shield Guardna's duelist had that I fixed here, lol.

I thought they would have at least fixed this one like I did, but the error with Misawa's LP dropping from 3000 as Ring of Destruction resolves is still there... They did get better about fixing those rare errors by Season 3, but I wonder if they don't have access to the original project files with the LP counters as their own layers that they could fix (though I guess if they did they'd redo the counters as they crop the shots, since DM's counters would be cut off slightly here/there too in its remaster iirc).

Random whooshy-scene sepiaesque filtering again, but also love how you can barely see Featherman's card [though with it being a zoom-out shot, it was probably a bit tricky to crop well]

No "20th Remaster" even on the cropped eyecatches, shame 😔

Well, I guess one upside to this whole thing--aside from the Limited Packs coming out with 10 previously anime-only cards finally being printed like Linear Magnum, Titan's Matadors, and Asuka's Prima Light (and hopefully a chance at a long-awaited Sound Duel 3 for the remaining unreleased OST)--is a bit of a better shot of grabbing the Heroes' anime artworks from the Battle on the Edge/Genkai Battle ED [a proper 1080p upload would be niftier for this, I'm sure]

Kinda bugs me they didn't crop this to put the title in the center [unless they maybe did it this way to account for two-liner titles in the future]

It is cute they brought back this "tune in next time" card from the TV airings too

Would've been a nice touch to retroactively do "Today's Best Card" bits for Season 1, but then I guess most of the key cards became Best Cards later in the show anyway [also too much effort to expect given the effort already shown here]

Sooo, overall, it's a bit of a mixed-bag remaster there--mostly a cropjob as I was expecting since we saw the logo drop at its announcement event being a crop of the logo shot from OP1 (though I'm curious to see how much the "remastering" for GX in ARC-V's 777 OP or in those Duel Select re-airings [where they re-aired a handful of fan-fave episodes like Judai vs Kaibaman or Fubuki vs Asuka] stack up to this), and things like not even bothering to give it the "20th Remaster" logo they used in promos in the OP/eyecatches or even trying to fix art/animation errors mostly sours it for me, but if it finally gets us more anime cards and a new Sound Duel of unreleased music as mentioned, I guess I'll embrace it. also Fire Dragon pls Also, not sure how much of it is my GX brainrot because of all my time fansubbing it (check out my finalized episode 1 subs, ft the aforementioned animation error fixes, here if curious!), but it's so awkward seeing it so cropped and zoomed in, lol.

...also, apparently these aren't airing with closed-captioning either??? which, welp, there goes the other benefit I was hoping for with this lol. I'm curious how Japanese fans are seeing this, though the couple of Twitter comments I've seen are also picking at the cropjob aspect.

Though I am kinda glad they didn't try to mess with the OP/EN like they did with DM's--but then, you can't mess with perfection, after all 💁🏽‍♂️

I hate to crosspost this to tumblr so soon, but I need help.

I've been working so hard to save for tuition this fall for my second (and final) year of my diploma, but with rising rent costs, it's just not enough. I'm an international student (Belizean-American) attending college in Canada to live with my partner, so student loans are not an option for me, though I am still exploring other loaning options for the second semester. I need to complete this diploma if I have any hopes of remaining in the country longer-term.

hi everyone. i wasn't sure i was going to ever actually open commissions again but desperate times call for desperate measures. those who know me know my whole deal but for those who don't - hi! my name's seren. i'm a two-spirit mixed indigenous transmasc living in florida with my boyfriend and our three cats. my boyfriend was recently in a pretty nasty car accident that totaled our beloved and dearly missed car. thankfully and very luckily he's okay, but now we are without transportation and he's no longer able to get to his job an hour away. i will probably be able to get him a job with me, but either way we simply do not have the funds to pay for the upcoming expenses of getting a new car, hospital bills, court fees, and whatever else may crop up out of this whole ordeal.

despite it being the height of the season at my full-time retail job, my hours have been cut and we have explicitly been denied overtime despite being allowed to for the last three years. therefore, i am opening up emergency commissions in hopes of bringing in some extra money to help keep us afloat as i am finding it increasingly hard to pay rent on top of everything we're going to have to pay for now.

About Me

Hello! I'm Jinx (he/they), and I've been on and off writeblr for years now. Please don't mind the mess as I very slowly start to organize and clean up my blog! I live in a place with a lot of mountains, with my two cats who regularly commit tax fraud, among other crimes. By day, I do regular maintenance work on cars, by every-spare-moment, I scribble out nonsense scenarios for the little guys living in my head.

Alongside writing, I enjoy video games and overanalyzing my favorite media in my friends' DMs. I also, on very rare occasions, dabble in making art.

I do use my likes on my blog as a bookmark system, to keep track of posts I want to look at more in depth later or to reblog later when I'm off of mobile. If I've liked it, it'll go into the queue soon, I promise!

About My Writing

My favorite things to write are sci-fi and high fantasy, and sometimes I consider really convoluted projects that combine the two. I love some extensive world-building, and I regularly think about conlangs I would love to create. I stick with writing NA and general adult stuff, mostly novels with the occasional short story.

What I Follow

I do tend to be pretty selective with what I follow. I'm here more for making friends than I am anything else, friends who share my interest with writing. Ask games, tag games, what-have-you, I want to engage with them all! I'm always willing to give my discord out to mutuals, and my Tumblr inbox is always open for chatting!

Same as my writing, I tend to prefer sci-fi and fantasy in what I want to read and follow from fellow writeblrs. If you've got some good hefty worldbuilding, I want to see it. I'm always open to looking at other genres, of course, those are just my favorite.

I'm looking to ensure my writeblr remains focused on writing and art, and I won't be following any blogs that regularly post outside of that. Good evening! 

While I hate to make such a large announcement and “kill the vibe” for the weekend, I really do need to set something straight. The world outside of roleplay is tumultuous and full of horrors, ailments, and struggles unique to each day. Writing is a hobby for many of us, I assume, and a reprieve from the chaos that hounds us. However, I cannot speak for anyone else; these are my words, and my feelings. 

I made this blog as a means to connect with others and write! Roleplay, to me, is what I have always enthusiastically described as collaborative storytelling. Not only that, but it is one of the easiest and most accessible and enjoyable means of relief for me. I get on my silly little blog to write and goof off. To step away from everything else around me. Sure, occasionally I let my own feelings for the day seep into my writing - but who doesn’t use their muse as a means to an end when things have been a little rough? In the end, I am here to have fun!

Like anyone else, however, I am unfortunately and fatally…human. I have feelings such as doubt, anger, frustration, anxiety, joy, compassion, etc.. There will be times where I may have the desire or need to let these feelings be known in an OOC post. It is my blog, and that is my right! That is every individual’s right; your blog should always be your safe space, and that is exactly what mine is: A safe space. That being said, I work hard to keep my blog safe not only for myself, but for my mutuals or anyone who might come across it. I tag anything and everything I should or can, when I remember to do so and as I see fit. What I will NOT engage in however, is drama, venting, or negative specific vague-posting. And I refuse to consistently let it be a constant presence any longer. 

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? 

My blog will remain a safe space for anyone seeking comfort, reprieve, or looking for advice provided we are mutuals. You may always approach me with any questions or concerns, especially if it is in regards to my/our writing or content on my blog. I encourage any discussions to be held in privacy between us either through tumblr IM or Discord (available upon request or when I occasionally offer it on the dash). 

I will NOT unfollow anyone for the occasional vent post. OOC venting and feelings are FINE! I make those too! My blog will have a LOT of OOC postings throughout the week and even peppered between replies and activity. My DMs are ALWAYS open if you are having a particularly hard time, and need someone to talk to (albeit, I may be delayed). 

What I WILL UNFOLLOW FOR includes but is not limited to: harassment of any kind, bullying, constant negativity, constant trauma dumping, constant acknowledgement of anonymous hate-mail, constant complaints of lack of interaction (ONLY if I have knowledge that I have reached out multiple times or reason to assume others have done so too), negative or derogatory vague posting of other users. Also, please keep in mind that I have other responsibilities outside of tumblr. While I may not immediately receive your message, see it, or response to it, it does not mean it will go ignored! Though it is no one's business, I have my own chronic conditions and experience varying degrees of social burn-out. I love chatting but can become easily overwhelmed! Give me time!

IN REGARDS TO BLOCKING - I do not block anyone without reason. So far, I have only ever blocked spam or porn bots. However, if I grow uncomfortable or have reason to doubt the safety of my space, I will not hesitate to hard block. You will not be given a warning, because again, I do not do this often / at all thus far. And for me to take this sort of action, it simply means I am unwilling to communicate my discomfort and for what I believe to be, good reason. I do not immediately block people I unfollow because on most occasions, if I unfollow someone it is either A) an accident or B) just that I don't vibe or see us interacting anytime soon or in the future. This does not inherently mean this won't change! Maybe later on I have expanded my abilities or have newfound interest / new perspectives! Neat! But unfollowing does not warrant an immediate block from me. Blocking is a SOLID and DEFINITE sentence. I do not do it lightly.

Please understand that I still wish to be a positive presence and will continue to do my best to provide this! But even I have my limits, my own external struggles, and I am weary… So very, very tired. 

If you have any GENUINE questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me! I value communication and compassion above all things, and will happily engage in a civilized conversation about anything you might find unclear.

hey y'all! my name is harley (he/they) and i present you with moon sikyung, our snake canon. he's (one of) onyang's resident morticians, and the moons have been at it for a long while. i'm still working on my profile details, but sikyung's bio is up here! under the cut i'll be putting a bulletpoint of most of the important stuff. if you wanna reach out to plot or dm here or on discord feel free to! my handle on discord is radkxng. without further ado, here's some basics!

sikyung may be a mortician, but he does his best to be approachable. he has a rather kind smile, and deals gently wherever he can. in conversations, sikyung prefers to ask questions rather than answer them.

it's not meekness, though; sikyung carries himself with confidence, and while he doesn't try to attract attention (especially not negative attention), he does admittedly thrive in it a bit when he's the center of it.

the morgue has been in his family for generations. inheriting it wasn't one of sikyung's big dreams or whatever, but he decided not to dread it. he uses it to his advantage as much as he can, keeping general tabs on the population and, in his mind, help keep them safe. as someone who struggles to deeply connect with people, sikyung also likes the sympathy it gives him.

sikyung tries to at least establish a hello with most of the people in their small town -- after all, he knows one day most of the people in their small town will end up on his table.

he's rather kind, and appears to be rather open, but a lot of that openness is...not fake, per se, but a bit of an illusion or a tool. sikyung very rarely gets close enough to people to divulge his true thoughts and feelings (especially with regards to the folklore of the town) but he tries to present enough "surface level depth" (as he calls it) to maintain his friendships while remaining possibly all too cautious.

his father died of a heart attack a couple of years ago, and shortly after his mother retired - too tired, hands aching from so much detail work over the years. now, sikyung more or less runs it on his own.
