2. vibes

i like writing vibes based stories with the barest skeleton of a plot. these are from the dictionary of obscure sorrows. you can send me anything from this website but below are some that stood out to me

irrition - n. regret at having cracked the code of something, which leaves you wishing you could forget the pattern

ecstatic shock - n. a surge of energy upon catching a glance from someone you like, which scrambles your ungrounded circuits and tempts you to chase after that feeling with a kite and a key

zverism - n. the wish that people could suspend their civility and indulge the physical side of each other first—sniffing each other’s hair like dogs, staring unabashedly at interesting faces, reveling in a beautiful voice like a song on the radio

fawtle - n. a weird little flaw built into your partner that somehow only endears them more to you, in the way that impurities dissolved in water are what allow it to conduct electricity—if all the imperfections were removed, there would be no spark

foreclearing- n. the act of deliberately refusing to learn the scientific explanations of things out of fear that it’ll ruin the magic—turning flower petals into tacky billboards, decoding birdsong into trash talk, defracting a rainbow back inside its tiny prism.

on tenderhooks - adj. feeling the primal satisfaction of being needed by someone, which makes you feel that much more rooted to the world, even if the roots belong to someone else.

rivener - n. a chilling hint of distance that creeps slowly into a relationship

Went on a huge rant to a friend last night about, of all things, how the Persona 5 protag gets characterised by some people.

I blame the anime adaptation for all the boring quiet meek wet cardboard characterisations I've seen. In my mind, the guy is an immensely kind but extremely flamboyant bitch who's good at manipulating people and only seems quiet and meek because he's analysing you while letting you underestimate him and, if you're his enemy, quietly plotting how he's going to fuck you up later!!!

Hello everyone! Yesterday, I came across a new fan creation bingo account called The Butcher. It is a Horror/dark/speculative inspiration with a nice food/restaurant theme. I just got my card a few hours ago and wanted to share since it looks amazing.

I honestly love the concept and how creative the team is with the lingo. It’s like I stepped into this strange and mysterious restaurant in a hidden haunted mansion in the woods. I’m so inspired in fact that I do want to write about such a dining place like the Butcher for my Free Space. As for the rest of the spaces, it’s nice to brainstorm and see where to take with it.

Some people would call gothamites petty, but given that most of the USA population treated them as scum, they believed that their behavior was justified.

They didn't like tourists, to put it mildly. Therefore, after learning that in their city were people on a field trip from Amity Park who could not leave Gotham for several days due to weekly escape from Arkham, the news channel immediately decided that a short interview from the guests would definitely amuse the locals. The reaction of outsiders never ceases to be ridiculous.
