Yep it's a Steven universe x Good omens AU. I wanna give it a unique name but haven't thought of anything yet, if youve got suggestions id be delighted to read them. Scroll if you wanna read a massive info dump about this.

I made Aziraphale a Lodelite because 1) I felt like it lines up well with Aziraphale role as a guardian and 2) Lodelite is also known as Garden quartz, which I thought was too perfect. Also in this AU she only is called Lodelite, she never changes it or anything.

Right now her story goes as follows: Lodelite was one of many Quartz soldiers sent to Earth to stop the rebellion, but for one reason or another Lodelite was poofed during the Diamond attack, and so reformed on an Earth almost completely barren of other uncorrupted Gems (I beleive in SU this is what happened to Lapis).

At some point she gives away a home world issued flaming sword to some humans (?), but she can also summon a normal sword as well.

Believing that someone will come rescue her, Lodelite stands post at the now empty and destroyed ship she arrived on, sending daily messages out that she hopes will get back to home world. (They never come, of course, but it takes awhile for Lodelite to loose hope).

Eventually she decides to collect Gen artifacts from the war while she waits, mostly to give herself some sense of purpose.

Fun fact: I put Lodelite gem on her back as a little way to signify how she avoids confronting her growing disloyalty to home world. Crowley has her gem on her chest for the opposite reason (also that's just where Zircon gems have always been in SU)

Crowley (previously Zircon) is there too but I'm probably gonna info dump about her in another post.

so i highly believe that aaron hotchner and rafael barba WOULD naturally get along well because they're both traumatised in the same extent, perform well at a dysfunctional level, have the same sarcastic wit, take no bullshit from people, and are both two """"stoic"""" men but yet they get SOOOO WATERY EYED when the cases hit hard (which has happened SEVERAL TIMES, as compared to other characters in their respective shows)

BUT i am also now thinking about aaron hotchner who became an fbi profiler because he wanted to stop cases before it happened after being a prosecutor for years AND cop turned ADA dominick carisi jr because he wanted to serve justice in the courtroom after spending so much time being a detective and seeing the accused walk away free ....

like profiler!hotch meeting ada!sonny would get along decently well..... but MEANWHILE the dynamic changes when it's DECTECTIVE!sonny meeting profiler!hotch and finding out that he used to be a prosecutor. sonny being so damn enthusiastic and eager around him, hotch being like 😐🤨 and lowkey irritated because of it but eventually he warms up to him. realises the potential sonny has and sees admirable drive in him.. oughfhjhhhghh
