First, let's talk about the Oleander/Nerium/Dogsbane

Meaning: desire, destiny, and caution Why this flower was chosen: Oleander, Nerium or Dogsbane is a very common garden shrub, with pretty flowers and year round leaves. Theyre very hardy plants and can withstand most temperatures and gardening mistake, and can grow pretty big if maintained properly. heres the thing though: every part of the plant is poisonous. behind that attractive profile is a lethal toxin that sets in pretty quickly depending on how its administered. It's responsible for many a pet poisoning from dogs to cats and plenty of uninformed kids get hurt by it too Description: It represents [character] pretty well not only in name but by her behavior. she could be considered pretty and she's very short for her age, coming off as pretty harmless at first glance, letting your guard down, and she can easily slip into the background if you dont know what youre looking for. but she craves attention and is very adaptable to most situations, and if she wants something she'll resort to most means to get that something. almost everyone she has met has been "poisoned" by her in some way

Now, let's talk about the geranium

Meaning: It has multiple meanings ranging from friendship to childishness and foolishness Description: Before her entrance into the canon timeline, she was transported to a multidimensional hub where she met many different versions of herself, and of other characters in the show. At first, she wanted nothing more than to get back to her best friend, but as she made new friends and discovered dark truths about her past, she decided this new place was her home and she was there to stay. However, she became upset with all the chaos and violence around her. All she wanted was to make friends and help those around her. Things got serious when her friend was killed by another universe’s version of herself. She’s been through so much. She’s turned into a monster and back to normal again but with scars from the experience. She’s been to Area 51. She had to face an illusion of her evil self and the only way out was by completely defeating the illusion…by “killing” her, and she never recovered from that because she doesn’t like using violence. She keeps a garden because it reminds her of home and it’s a fun hobby. She loves flowers and flower symbolism. She used to wear flowers in her hair all the time. One time she ate a chocolate bar off the ground without breaking eye contact with the person she was with even though the chocolate bar was all muddy and gross. She does NOT know how to make Mac and cheese. She’s my own personal blorbo and I’m love her

The gifts for 2024 are 100 ml fragrance sprays. These are not perfumes, they are more like room sprays. According to Yana, they worked with professional perfumers and the fragrances were formulated with each character's "image" in mind! These each come with a unique bottle label, plus a ribbon and a little wooden charm with a matching character motif on it. You can soak the wooden charm with the fragrance and use it to diffuse the smell through a room.

Preorders are open until 10 March 2024.

(Warning: in the case that these contain alcohol, it will not be possible to send the fragrances overseas due to shipping regulations against flammable materials. The paper goods—the 2024 Valentine Gift messages—will still be able to be sent out.)

Each character has their own unique scent. The following are summaries of what each spray smells like overall (according to official posts), but each also has its own more detailed descriptions of the top, middle, and base notes on their individual website postings.

Apparently, fatty aldehydes smell like fresh citrus but I believe the literally translated term is “fatty aldehyde”; not sure why it was worded like this. There are many forms of aldehyde and each smells different. For example, one form smells closer to a rose. Another supposedly smells like rancid butter 💀

LUCIFER

WHO IS HE?

In Demonic culture, Lucifer is often described as a fallen angel who was cast out of heaven, he is also described as the ruler of Hell, and the Prince of the demons. He is often seen as a symbol of the light bringer, the keeper of secrets and knowledge, and the ruler of the underworld. His followers are often referred to as "Luciferians" or "Luciferians," a term that has been used to describe a wide variety of secret societies and mystery cults. Lucifer is seen as a powerful and dominant entity, and he is associated with mischief, rebellion, and chaos.

BASIC INFO:

Appearance: Lucifer is described in many different ways in Demonic culture. The specific characteristics and appearance of Lucifer can vary greatly, depending on the source and cultural context. Some descriptions of Lucifer depict him as a beautiful and angelic being, while others describe him as a terrifying and demonic entity.

In many Western traditions, Lucifer is seen as a fallen angel, though his appearance in these representations can vary greatly. Some common portrayals of him include that of a winged figure, with red horns and a tail, or as a very beautiful and angelic-looking character.

Personality: Lucifer is nothing if not charming. He’s a protector first and foremost - one that always works to help you better yourself, but a protector nonetheless. He feels like a protective older brother taking care of you while your parents are away. He is a very complex entity, deeply wise and eloquent. He is more serious than one might expect for a demon given their popular depictions in our culture as chaotic forces of evil, but Lucifer is full of courage and love. I often feel him with me even when I’m not doing things related to him. He is proud of his follower’s accomplishments and congratulates them on a job well done, though he also reminds them that the job is never truly over. Growth is constant, Lucifer is the epitome of growth, blunt and gentle at the same time, telling you what you need to do and giving you space to figure out how to do it. 

Lucifer values resilience, the pursuit of self-betterment, intellectualism, courage, open-mindedness and responsibility in individuals and wants to see his followers develop these qualities. He is constantly rooting for you to reach your full potential. He won’t hold your hand the entire way, but he will help you take steps in the right direction. Lucifer, like all deities, is different for everyone and will adjust his approach depending on your needs.

HOW TO INVOKE LUCIFER:

To work with Lucifer, you should make an offering and then speak to him with reverence and respect. Make your offering and tell him you are asking for his guidance and aid. Then, sit silently and listen for his response. He may not have a physical body, but he has an energetic presence that can guide you. If you cannot sense his presence, it is okay. You should also meditate on your goals and wishes, and ask for his help in achieving them. Be open to the possibility that Lucifer may have his own plans or may want you to embrace a different path than the one you expected.

My Current WIP: The Echoes of Eden Hollow:

“A land of deepest shade/ unpierc’d by human thought/ the dreary regions of the dead/ where all things are forgot!” – Charles Wesley, 1763

Basics: part murder and medical mystery, part historical-gothic fiction, part family drama, The Echoes of Eden Hollow is currently in the planning and drafting stage. For now, it is a trilogy set in third person limited (though I am experimenting with first-person for 1921). 

The Echoes of Eden Hollow is a multi-generational story that chronicles the creation, pinnacle, collapse, and aftermath of a fictionalized, unsanctioned branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows: the Sovereign Spiritualist Odd Fellows of Iowa Lodge, the oldest Lodge west of the Alleghanies. Though indistinguishable from other Lodges at its inception, a collection of close-knit families usurped the Lodge’s purpose and influence following the discovery of one woman’s medium-like abilities. Each part has its own main character, distinct cast, and different plots, but all are interconnected in various ways.

Like Vinny, Joker would smell like Wooin (Dior savage) I don’t see him buying cologne since he works to take care of his brothers but I feel Wooin refuses to go around with him smelling like sweat from fights or just like their shampoo and body wash so he would let him use his cologne. But boxers use baby powder for their gloves so he’d smell like that.

Captain Mukherjee sat at her desk, staring at the chart of evidence. Her mind was elsewhere.

Had she made the right move? The Global Defence Force were well resourced and had a worldwide jurisdiction, so she would never again have to stop chasing a villain because they’d crossed a county border. She’d joined the GDF hoping she would get to make a real difference, but it hadn’t worked out that way.

So far she’d used all her evidence gathering skills finding a mystery character called ‘General X’. Nobody knew who they were, why they used the name or where they hid. None of that bothered Mukherjee since seeking out villains was her job. 

What bothered her was General X didn’t seem to have done anything. Their biggest crime reported to date was they were connected to stealing a large box of Yorkshire Tea. Even then the evidence wasn’t conclusive.

In her old job she'd recovered the Blue Diamond. She'd hoped in this new one she could finish the task and apprehend Feathers McGraw, but it wasn't looking likely.

The people were strange too. Gromit had kindly given her a plant from his garden when she'd started the job. Something to give her office a more homely feel. But the plant had gone back home when one of her colleagues had asked her what the plant's name was, and whether the plant would be friends with Gladys. She didn't know who Gladys was, but apparently this man couldn't be without her. Hopefully Gladys was aware of this affection.

One of the most adorable and effortlessly charming Cinderellas I've ever seen. She met the prince before the ball, but he told her he was a gardener. They fell in love as a Gardener and a Servant Girl, and he invited her to the masked ball to trick his dad into letting him marry her. They made plans to both wear geraniums to recognize each other, but then the king gave everyone a geranium as a door prize, and they were both looking for a poor working class person instead of a fancy royal, so they didn't recognize each other. The king was the one who started trying to find the Mysterious Princess, but the Prince was low-key sabotaging it and Cinderella tried to avoid being found, because they both wanted to marry the person they fell in love with in the garden - so the search lasted for months. Finally, the truth was revealed, and they were ecstatic to have found each other. The whole special is less than an hour long, available for free on YouTube, and the best part is? This is a Muppet production! In fact, it's actually the *first collaboration* between Jim Henson and future Sesame Street crewmembers Joe Raposo and Jon Stone. Additionally, Hey Cinderella also boasts the very first appearance of Kermit *The Frog,* with the iconic green pointed collar and flippers, as opposed to just the vague lizard-like character he had been in previous appearances. There are a couple of mildly problematic jokes common to the time in which it was filmed, and the recording quality was really bad so you can't understand everything some of the Muppet characters say (Kermit is the only recurring Muppet, all the others were only in this special) but it's still a really cute, charming, funny little film, and seriously this version of Cinderella is one of the most adorable Cinderellas around.

First, let's talk about the Geranium

Meaning: It has multiple meanings ranging from friendship to childishness and foolishness Description: Before her entrance into the canon timeline, she was transported to a multidimensional hub where she met many different versions of herself, and of other characters in the show. At first, she wanted nothing more than to get back to her best friend, but as she made new friends and discovered dark truths about her past, she decided this new place was her home and she was there to stay. However, she became upset with all the chaos and violence around her. All she wanted was to make friends and help those around her. Things got serious when her friend was killed by another universe’s version of herself. She’s been through so much. She’s turned into a monster and back to normal again but with scars from the experience. She’s been to Area 51. She had to face an illusion of her evil self and the only way out was by completely defeating the illusion…by “killing” her, and she never recovered from that because she doesn’t like using violence. She keeps a garden because it reminds her of home and it’s a fun hobby. She loves flowers and flower symbolism. She used to wear flowers in her hair all the time. Rebirth fits since she’s practically going through a Groundhog Day loop that always ends up with her dying and then being “rebirthed” into another timeline. Big things happening…. Many big things happen to her. Many. Her whole life is big event after big event. Description: Quiet, but caring. Deep love and compassion for her friends, to her own detriment.
