Jayvik Modern AUs are hilarious to me because my boy Jayce is NOT playing any sports. He is NOT a jock. He is a gymbro nerd who tries to get his rich sister to play DnD with him, spends his days at the chemistry lab, plays chess and one day he suddenly needs to help the football team covering for someone because people think he must like sports. He doesn't even get along with everyone. He tries, of course, but he isn't the golden boy until the extremely rich and popular girl, president of the student-council, goes all "Popular! You're gonna be popular!" Glinda on him until he becomes popular thinking he's doing something good for the school when he isn't and he's getting carried away by fame and parties when all he truly wants is being with his lab partner Viktor. At the end of the day, Arcane truly was just like High School tbh.

"the reason adrien is just instantly good at everything he tries is because he is programmed to be that way as a senti" aside from the fact that i don't think that's how it works (and also while he was decent at everything he tried with marinette he wasn't instantly good at all of them, and what marinette actually said to him was that he could improve in anything with practice but it was a great first attempt) did we all collectively forget about how adrien actually canonically isn't the best singer?

Just saw a post on Instagram about how it's a good thing most YouTubers that are popular aren't villains and that gave me ideas so here's what I've got

Hero group:

Milo Rossi - debunker and government hater,

Pirate software - military hacker and group leader,

Brian David Gilbert - collector of knowledge and spell caster/vampire

Main antagonistic villain group:

Name: the Paradox Association

PBS space time - violates physical laws,

stand up maths - violates mathematical laws,

Veritasium - spell caster and leader of the group,

3b1b - actually a sentient computer program,

Vsauce - joker of the group,

Hank green - lex Luthor of the group

Villains of the week:

Usually summoned by the Paradox association

McNally - rouge thief marksman,

Nilered - mad chemist,

Rainbolt - assassin who stalks social medias,

Jerma - riddler or some form of lizard person,

Combo class - mathematically perfect arsonist,

Alan becker - has electrokinesis and stick figure minions,

Wintergatan - musical mad man and inventor of clockwork beings,

Action lab - bombs,

Anyways, yes!! I already know that but honestly idk how to feel lol. On one hand, I am excited and elated but on the other hand I don't know if I'm ready to suffer again 🙏🙏 Regardless I'm really looking forward to see the flags in hoshikawa's artstyle esp the interactions and the death scene ehehe (i hope if they show everyone, their death is gonna be how i imagined they died (?) but honestly I'll take anything)

so the continuation of snowgrave is interesting

noelle says the night before kris visited her and kiiiind of but not really? apologized for the snowgrave route. at least we can assume kris is remorseful for that because when we resume control and reassert our dominance over her they fuck up a trash can in a rage

noelle is also excited that kriss old deadpan voice was back. meaning that kris never used to emote and any enthusiasm that we make them exhibit is not their true reaction. even the nice friendly pacifist things though thats not too new information

i didnt talk to catti yet but in a pacifist route she resents kris for becoming friends with susie which. is a pretty extreme reaction. in fact everyone has a pretty extreme reaction to her that doesnt seem. entirely justified. catti also puts a hex on kris (jockington neutralizes kt with the power of SPORTS) and mentions their past of studying the occult together

we also know that kris has like. monster dysphoria. they wanted to be like their adopted momster family even having a horn headband like we see in tennas flashback. its possible since humans couldnt do magic as well as monsters kris studied it with catti to try and find a way to cast magic as a human

i wonder if the human soul we play as isnt like. a demonic possession they conjured. but i also wonder if kris wasnt born without a soul. the idea of a deadpan voice aligns with how we usually depict a "soulless" person

at the same time kris ALWAYS returns the soul to their body which means that kris NEEDS it to some extent. whether thats that they cant survive without a soul for extended periods of time or because they need us the player to do their bidding and play into their plans

maybe kris needs a bustling dark castletown to achieve their goals. maybe this time playing the pacifist is playing into the goals of the villain
