Prompt 75: “That’s just adorable.”

    “-and he was telling me just the other day that-”

    “What do you see in him?” Bim interrupted, not glancing up from his phone. He lounged on the couch, feet stretched out and draped over Yan’s lap.

    Yan, however, did look up, her thumbs still moving rapidly across her phone’s digital keyboard. It wasn’t hard to guess who she was texting, or what she was texting about; there was a new boy at her school, who she was absolutely infatuated with. Bing doubted it would last a week. “He’s so creepy,” she said, making a face, “and he doesn’t talk to anybody, just himself.”

    “He talks to me,” Bing argued, setting down his Switch. He’d died anyway, defeated by a Goomba. “If you guys gave him a chance-”

    “I get that all the time.” Bim waved a hand. “‘Just give him a chance! You’ll like him once you get to know him!’ Like a nice personality will make him any prettier.”

    “Does he bleed on you when you kiss him?” Yan asked, eyes widening.

    “What?” Bing wrinkled his nose. “No, of course he doesn’t. That’s what the bandages are for.”

    “Have you ever seen him without them?”

    “I-”

    “We’re getting off topic.” Bim straightened his glasses, fixing Bing with a stare. “What do you even see in him? Why the hell are you dating *the Host* of all people?”

    “Well,” Bing considered this, tilting his head. “He’s really thoughtful, and a good listener-”

    “That’s what they all say.”

    “And he’s got a smile that’s adorable as shit.” Bing grinned at the thought. 

    “You’ve seen him smile?” Yan sat straight up, dislodging Bim’s legs. The show host gave an indignant “hey!” of protest, which went ignored. “No one has ever seen him smile!”

    “I have,” Bing said proudly, “in fact, I-”

    “Bing?” A shadow darkened the doorway to his room. All heads turned to see the Host, hovering just beyond the threshold. “The Host was wondering-”

    He paused, seeming to register that there was more than just Bing occupying the room. He frowned. “Perhaps the Host should come back later.”

    “Nah, dude.” Bing went over to him, draping an arm over his shoulders and giving him a peck on the cheek, unbothered by Bim’s grimace or Yan’s mock gagging noises. “You were wondering?”

    “If Bing would like to have dinner later tonight,” the Host finished, the words tumbling from his mouth like they were in a hurry to get out. 

    Bing’s grin seemed to light up the room. “I’d love to, dude.” 

    The Host smiled, a faint ghost of a thing that flickered across his lips quickly before disappearing from view. He dipped his head before separating himself from the android’s clutches. “The Host will see Bing tonight, then.”

    He left without another word, and Bim and Yan gaped openly as Bing came back over, plopping himself back into his bean bag and retrieving his Switch.    “What?” He asked innocently, as they continued to stare. “It’s not like it’s hard.”

Why that pubby (actor) such a nasty

(…..bcuz i’m dumb i’m not sure what the question is here, i’ll give you two answers)

serious answer: because he’s still very much the narcissistic, vain, self-absorbed bastard that we know he is. he’s still the same Actor that we know would claw his way out of hell with the hands of others if he could, all the while saying that ‘the hero doesn’t deserve such a tragic ending like this’.

if anything, being a ‘pedigree black shuck’ or ‘pedigree hound’ makes it worse. worse in that, not only does he thinks the world owes him something for simply existing, but because he feels he deserve something for existing in a world that doesn’t trust him (a creature very much associated with being a bad omen). 

he’s ‘nasty’ because he’d rather watch you suffocate on the black smoke that pours out of his body and out of his mouth in order to get something, all the while saying ‘it’s not my fault you got in my way’ as you choke. he’s ‘nasty’ in that he’ll tear out your throat with his teeth in order to get what he wants, wiping his mouth as if having eaten dinner afterwards.

silly answer: because he’s Literally made of gas/smoke and sometimes smells like sulfur and rotten eggs

it isnt too late to submit an anti version,right? Mine is directly connected to jack, an incarnation of all the bad emotions and fears that are thrown aside for the sake of videos. He was to be a natural enemy to most egos,being a ball of negativity,but he also craves that attention which leads him to start to hate what he was made to be.There are no strings on me,he kinda tries to separate himself from his creator,being different to get the positive attention that he truly craves.
