obsessed with the idea that we see mark scout as "main" mark, aka the one that reintegrates mark s into his original consciousness, whereas we see helly as the "main" helena and root for helly to absorb helena into her consciousness. technically, in the case of reintegrating, helena would absorb helly and she (helly) would theoretically cease to exist which invokes a visceral feeling of denial because it feels wrong! which I think is likely based on a lot of sympathy of deserving and supposed righteousness and feelings about how this is the better version of helena, one that is a good person and therefore should be the focus in the reintegration and I think it's fascinating.

Looker is a silly man. While I don't see him as a gambler, it's funny to think that he is not immune to the Game Corner. Which sure, it can be a sign that he's playing adult slots... So, the current 338 projection has the NDP falling to 6 seats, and I didn't think much given that like I do think the NDP has major problems, but I saw the BC projection of only one seat, and it's only showing as lean, and I'm getting suspicious. So I looked back and the last time the NDP got less than 10% of the vote (the current national projection) was the 2000 election, in that election the NDP got 8.51% of the popular vote and 13 seats, including 3 in B.C.

Now obviously a lot has changed since 2000, for example that was when there were two conservative parties before they were united. There's also a very different electoral map. But I think there's more than one seat in the lower mainland that are comfortably NDP with well-liked MPs.

I'm bringing this up because people are thinking about strategic voting, but the assumption is a vote for the Liberals is a vote to keep the tories out, this isn't always true, and the 338 projection for seats, from what I understand is only estimating based on the regional and national trends, they don't have specific polling by district. So for example, a district like Vancouver Kingsway, which has Don Davies, who is as far as I know well-liked, he won with significant margins in every election he's been re-elected in. 338 projects it as Liberal likely.

My guess is that people in tighter races are the ones changing most, and extrapolating that evenly accross B.C. or even the lower mainland is warping the view of these comfortable NDP seats.
