I find it a little funny how Laudna 'holding Imogen down' is depressing, while over there's Fearne asking Ashton to "not let her float away" an them saying "got you"
It's like..

I'm trying to avoid getting spoiled so I haven't looked up what's happening in the Jp server's main story, but for my own sanity I need to ask; is the story at a point where we know whether Lilia will get better/survive his almost-empty magic reserves..? Was it a true death flag from the start or only a plot device for malleus' overblot....?
not yet! I do think they're going to get back to it eventually, but -- keeping it as low spoilers as possible -- there's been...let's just say a LOT going on in the meantime.
enjoy 7-6!!! :)
#twisted wonderland#twisted wonderland spoilers#twisted wonderland episode 7 spoilers#twisted wonderland book 7 spoilers#twisted wonderland episode 7 part 6 spoilers#twisted wonderland book 7 part 6 spoilers#i AM going to talk more about spoilers for a minute (i will try to keep it just up to 7-6 stuff though)#but i have. THEORIES.#my current hypothesis (based on absolutely nothing except vibes)#is that they're going to find the princess glow and use it to save lilia#via magic boost or...something. idk it was vaguely-defined enough they can handwave exactly how#because. look. they made a point of introducing this super powerful macguffin gemstone with magical dad-saving powers#and then never solidly established what happened to it#(twst? talk at length about something totally irrelevant that never comes up again? surely not)#but it would tie in very nicely with the rest of the parallels between silver and the knight of dawn#and i like how it would be sorta like...a little bit of meleanor coming back to save lilia#(again) (less violently this time)#my even-more-based-on-nothing theory is that crowley might have the princess glow and this might segue into whatever's going on with him#as always i could be completely wrong but i'm just. y'know. feeling it.#i'm still obsessing over that one line from episode 4 where azul was like 'oh yeah i totally know crowley's big secret'#which was most likely azul bullshitting but i'm still like IT'S GONNA COME BACK AAAAANY DAY NOW#(at this point no one will be more shocked than i) (the validation would be nice though)

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT HATE RALSEI (I'm neutral about him compared to the other members of the cast but do not harbor any negative feelings towards him). THIS IS A CHARACTER EXPLORATION POST.
I'mma be so real, I genuinely GENUINELY love the idea that Kris isn't super comfortable around Ralsei.
Like, from their pov Ralsei's kindness isn't sincere whereas Susie's IS so they gravitate to her more.
ALSO the fact that Ralsei seems to have the same "shove it under the rug" attitude towards especially troubling things like the Dreemurrs could be a factor for why Kris doesn't trust him very much (Kris definitely has some family issues tbh... They are on that emotionally estranged family grindset...)
Meanwhile Susie is very open and in people's faces and I feel like Kris admires and possibly envies her a little for that because like. Something regarding them being nonconfrontational due to feeling so out of place (they just like me frr) I dunno it's 5:30 AM for me rn.
I'm just thinking about it and it's really relatable to me as someone who is in the process of struggling to open up to family members who are completely removed from my childhood trauma but simultaneously is super buddy buddy with people who I met literally weeks ago. I feel like Kris is going through something similar with Susie and Ralsei, Ralsei being too close to family for Kris to trust meanwhile Susie is someone they've officially been friends with for like two days and they are already incredibly close to her.

I was so distracted by the Bentley playing Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy as Crowley raced back to the bookshop this season that it didn't occur to me that we'd been in this position before.
Spat with Aziraphale?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Check.
Threatened by demons?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Check.
Rushing back to the Bookshop with the Bentley playing something overly romantic?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Check and check.
Friends, it is ENTIRELY POSSIBLE that Crowley was having major flashbacks to the bookshop burning and Aziraphale being gone, which is why he was setting new records for the drive through central London. Maybe everyone else already thought about this but I didn't until right now and I am not ok.

Also, not to loose the little moments in the epicness of the show, the moment where Aviendha's spears are broken...... just excellent, excellent acting. That subtle feeling of "Ooohhhh, so you have that going on", the other characters' quiet discomfort watching this happen to her, the way Aviendha who has so far been mostly angry, annoyed, or teasing, is suddenly shown as vulnerable, scared and sad...............
I felt a little seed of love for her bloom right there.

Been thinking about this leaked scene
Tumblr media
I'm 99% sure its 100% a Rayllum scene, there's Stella and Sneezles, adoraburrs which both Rayla and Callum love, flowers (romantic), a boat (Rayllum has an story with boats) and birds (Callum is a bird).
What if it's a little gesture from Rayla to cheer Callum up about the whole Katolis thing? maybe after Rayla gets unghosted she finally shows him the place just like she wanted two years ago and a boat ride is just one of the things you can do at The Silvergrove since it seems there's a lot of rivers in there.
Tumblr media
It could be something made by Callum but considering she doesn't like water and gets seasick I doubt.
It could also definitely be something they both decide to do to have a little fun but I think it would be cute if Rayla planned it.

who's dark!Harry (fanon)? we have dark!Harry at home (in canon)
who people think canon!Harry is: couldn't/wouldn't hurt a fly, only casts Expellarimus actual canon!Harry: actually gives zero fucks if he thinks you deserve it, cast 2 out of the 3 Unforgivables, including Crucio on Amycus Carrow for being disrespectful to McGonagall, literally tortured him to the point of passing out and seemed really pleased about it

Please dont stop with the socrates!reader, its just too good
i was thinking, do you think anaxa would indulge in reader's constant questioning? of course, they'd claim to know nothing, but test anaxa's aswers at every given moment
also, do you think reader would be the type to call him by his full name? have a nice day
anaxa would absolutely indulge in their questioning. he loves having his ideas challenged—he says as much in one of his voicelines—not to mention that his greeting and parting voicelines are legit something like ‘oh, do you have questions? ask away’ and ‘no more questions? ok bye then’. there’s barely a day that goes by without the two of them getting into an intense discussion about the nature of knowledge, reality, morality (epistemology metaphysics and ethics baby)—and most of these probably arise from the most mundane conversations, too, like asking what the other had for breakfast the other day.
i guess the thing about the reader is that it doesn’t matter who they’re talking to when they challenge someone’s ideas; whether it’s a professor or a poor unsuspecting passer-by on the street or a titan, as long as there’s a discussion to be had and assumptions to be challenged, they’ll take it, which is part of what makes them so able and willing to engage with anaxa. he’s also similar in that regard, which he appreciates. moreover, lots of people, including his own students, are put off challenging him because of his reputation, or his attitude, or they’re afraid of making a fool of themselves or saying the wrong thing.
with regards to the full name thing… honestly? i think they would, most of these time. the reader is incisive and direct in their questioning, but they’re not actually disrespectful as a person; they’re pretty polite, and it’s mainly their tendency to question that turns people off rather than their attitude. if anaxa has requested to be called anaxa, they don’t see an overt reason to go out of their way to not call him that. (also, the name isn’t that hard. like. come on. /lh)
but they are also a relatively mischievous person, so they would occasionally call him ‘anaxa’ just to get on his nerves (and give him a little bit of an ego check when he needs it).

Isn't a bit crazy that legit no one was left alive/near/important to Larra Rogare after 135 AC that could have forced her to keep having kids and she kept on them with underage Viserys anyways? 😭 Does no one else think that's a little weird?
#asoiaf#a song of ice and fire#asoiaf fandom#valyrianscrolls#Like am i the only one finding that weird#Father and Uncle died 135 AC from what I remember both like within 1-2 days of each other#Her brothers scattered sorta afterwards and left Westeros soon#She could have stopped after Aegon if the concerns was to 'stable' her Position#Or after Aemon#But she didn't? Like there was no one there that could have forced her to kept on having Kids#“but Viserys” the Dude who didnt even do anything when his wife left him when he turned 17? Like i doubt 15 year old Viserys demanded more#Like especially just weird? Sa definitively imo especially because Viserys is even described as captive#Just because the captivity is nice doesn't mean it isnt captivity#Like imagine Viserys would have been Visenya and 12 year old Visenya would have shown up pregnant with her 19 year old husband?#Puts it a little into perspective#Also 12 year olds aren't even like teenagers too 😭#I think it's a bit weird how the fandom like normalizes or doesn't see anything wrong with this?#Something something parallel to Dany being treated 'well' in her captivity to Drogo something something doesn't mean anything#stockholm syndrome#Viserys#viserys ii targaryen#lot of adult x child people out here#Like adult x Teenager yeah im not surprised here especially with 16 meaning grown but Like dawg#12 is straight up a child a whole ass Kid..#targaryen#Especially Viserys behavior after being left by his Groomer/abuser (willing/unwilling abuser/groomer cuz debatable but..) scream SA victim#especially him seeing nothing wrong marrying Naerys so young off#“i was fine! I married very young and turned out OK!” AHHH mindset#Like that definitively directly influenced his decision

I'm convinced Bobby Nash has to die. Now hear me out!! Cause I don't think he has to stay dead. In fact, it fits better if he doesn't. Here's the thing: Bobby believes he should have died in the fire that killed his family and all those people. It really seems there is absolutely no way for him to feel any closure on that, except, maybe, dying in/as a result of/in the vicinity of a fire after saving his family, aka Athena. A fire that burned down his now-family's home.
In Bobby Begins Again, Bobby is told You want to be punished? Your punishment is that you lived. Now make it worth a damn. And all this 'putting his affairs in order' stuff is kind of him double-checking that he really did make it worth a damn. For other people. Not for himself. He still doesn't believe he deserves any sort of happy ending. So, him dying and then living, just like Buck, would be another perfect little joke from his God, a sort of, You want to die for your sins? Fine. Now you have. Now live and be free of them.
Dying for your sins sound familiar? A little Jesus-y? Yeah, it fits right into all the religious symbolism we got in Step 9, aka the very Bobby-centric episode we just had! @exhuastedpigeon made a really good post about it.
In the previous episode, we saw that Bobby had his addiction practically passed down to him by his father, like an original sin. He wandered the desert, he carried his cross. In this episode, he had his last meal and though he didn't quite literally pray with his family, he did give Eddie a book of catholic prayers...
So if we're following that theme, if Bobby is to get the closure he has been wishing for ever since that fire happened, he might just have to die. But we all know Jesus didn't exactly stay dead either.

oh boy im having thoughts about miquella and malenia again!!!
i don't know if it was intentional or not but like yk seeing malenia's entire character and seeing how the most important thing to her (save for her brother) is her dignity and her pride and her sense of self. after a lifetime of fighting the scarlet rot malenia is someone who still resists it every day no matter how strong it gets because she is someone who will fight to the bitter end to make sure it doesn't overtake her, to make sure that she's still just her and not the vessel for the rot.
(of course, the exception to this is when she bloomed in aeonia and in her fight with us, but I'll call those last-ditch attempts arising out of desperation so)
you get it malenia suffers every day of her life and the rot threatens to consume her but she refuses to let it win and instead completely rejects it and scorns it; she won't let it take away what makes her her.
and contrast it with the dlc where we see her brother miquella do exactly the opposite of what she does. because of his crosses, we see how much of himself miquella has lost how he constantly sheds pieces of himself in his effort to become a god to the point where he even discards his love, his other half st. trina.
he did all this to fulfill his goals, to succeed in what he thought was right; what he thought was a necessary sacrifice that would only bring him closer to his goals of a kind and compassionate world. only the problem is it ended up making him into something he was not; miquella the kind was certainly not like miquella the unalloyed.
i am aware that miquella even in the base game was not the wow sunshine jesusesque figure that did no wrong and was purehearted through and through. even then there were hints to a more complex character, but I think the difference between miquella the kind and miquella the unalloyed is that the miquella of before was someone who cared so so deeply on such a personal level; he was someone who put his heart and soul into helping each and everyone whether it be by crafting prosthetics or needles for his sister to ward away the rot and the meddling of outer gods or whether it was to try to give his brother godwyn a proper death; he was someone who cared very very deeply and in a very personal manner. but afterwards, I think in his quest for godhood miquella became someone very distant, very impersonal in the way a benevolent god who is looking out for everyone and who is "doing the right thing no matter what because ik better and I have the power to fix things" is. he is very removed from that which he once was; he abandoned himself and subsequently abandoned the very ideals he was fighting for.
miquella the kind still wants a world filled with peace and compassion but now, he is a god, now he is someone willing to take the most drastic of measures because now he is no longer the boy that was miquella the unalloyed that believed in an age of compassion with love present. you cannot have compassion without having love which, of course, miquella the kind has abandoned.
i don't know there's just something interesting about these siblings where one has continuously resisted the urge of an outer god who is trying to force her into being something she does not want to be and then there is the one who willingly rips away that which makes him him because he thinks that this will help him become someone he should be; it will help him become the god that will fix this broken world.
