so from this veryyyy previous post, I wanted to draw ENA (from secret song Uncanny Valley) cause she and Nikku from FNF Hotline 024 are very famous. So here's a sneak peak.

Apparently if the results don't go out too well, it doesn't matter much. I'm still working on it. These days I'm too lazy and tired to draw sth, but I'm trying my best to complete.

if you like aono-kun then in the horror genre (tw for body horror, gore, and themes about death) my other faves are: night beyond the tricornered window (by the same mangaka as ikoku nikki!) and hikaru ga shinda natsu (really gorgeous art and still ongoing)

aandd for slice of life, sukirofa and ikokunikki are my absolute faves but with similar vibes are: hirayasumi, bl metamorphosis, umi ga hashiru end roll (only a few chapters are translated but it's amazing so far!), and natsume yuujinchou (maybe a bit more fantastical setting and more episodic, it might start a bit slow but i absolutely adore it). tomoko yamashita's other works are also good even though i haven't gotten to read all of them :D

Danish drummer/composer Stefan Pasborg grew up in a household of ballet dancers, allowing him to have an intimate relationship with their lifestyle and performances. One of his first formative musical experiences was witnessing a performance of Igor Stravinsky’s legendary ballet, The Rite of Spring, by The Danish Royal Ballet. The experience embedded a love for Stravinsky’s work that has manifested in Pasborg’s new recording, Ritual Dances. Even though his compositions were seen as dangerously revolutionary when they premiered, Igor Stravinsky’s music has inspired listeners for generations. His many works have become part of the canon for many philharmonic orchestras but are still presented in more challenging programs. You slowly arose from your slumber, rubbing your eyes and smelling something... good.

All you remember last night was that you immediately passed out when you hit your bed. Work has been a pain in the ass recently, so you've seemed to be getting home later and later by the day.. how did you get into your pajamas, then? Whatever, it didn't matter. The source of the smell was more important to you.

You got from your bed, stretched until it hurt, and dragged yourself to the kitchen. Down the stairs you went, you peered around the corner to see what was making the smell.

Nikku was staring at her phone quite intensely, as if she was reading something. She was holding a bottle of syrup in one hand and a plate of pancakes in the other. Her staring was so intense that she almost didn't notice you standing in the doorway. "Mornin'."

You were a bit surprised to see Nikku making breakfast, considering she didn't usually eat or cook in the morning. The sight of her in nothing but an oversized shirt, an apron, and some socks was nice to see; she looked quite pretty. You walked over to her, and she handed you the plate of pancakes. "You made breakfast?" She nodded and turned to put everything away. "You seemed tired last night, and you're always doin' stuff for me, soo.."

A goofy smile couldn't help but find its way onto your face. You set your plate down and hugged Nikku from the back. She flinched rather hard from the sudden touch but seemed to relax after remembering it was just you. She turned her head around and gave your temple a kiss with her mouth. You giggled.

"Where'd you learn to cook, anyways?" You asked. Nikku grabbed her phone from the counter and held it up. "Found some random recipe online. Seemed pretty good to use." You smiled at her and went to go set your plate of food down to eat. On your way to the dining table, you caught a glimpse of the sink. It seemed a lot more empty than it did last night. You could've sworn there was more to wash.

Eh, whatever. You were hungry; time to eat!

You sighed as you finished eating, realizing that you still had things to get done. You groaned and stood up, heading to the bedroom to find the clothes hamper and load them into the washing machine.

Just as you were about to grab the hamper, you realized all the clothes inside it were missing.

Okay, now you had to ask about it.

"Niikkuu!" You called out, finding her on the couch watching cat videos. She shifted her head to look up at you. You held up the hamper to show the lack of dirty clothes. "Have you.. been doing the chores?"

She shrugged. "Like I said, you seemed tired last night." She replied, all nonchalant. You could feel your heart melt at how sweet she was. You set the hamper down and went over to snuggle her. She held out welcoming arms as you flopped down onto her. You decided to repay her by smothering her in affection; kisses, hugs, words of affirmation, you name it.

"You're such a sweetie. Thank you, Nikky." You said in between kisses.

Even if Nikku seemed a bit distant, she was the sweetest person you've ever met. And you were lucky enough to experience that first hand.

OH MY GOSH THANKS Uhhh sorry if I get verbose

1.) So last year I separated from my ex-husband. I was in a bad state and talking with an old friend and about how I was going out with other friends and they just straight up told me they’d been into me since like, 2010. And that I’d occupied their thoughts since then but at the time I was taken. We carried on until they kinda disappeared for a couple of months, but then we got back to talking again and my heart went doki doki when I told them “I’m glad I have you back in my life” and they responded with “It’s like you never left mine; you’re an addiction. One hit and I’m back in.” 💖💖I FUCKIN LOST IT MATES💖💖. And recently we’ve been talking on discord voice chat for hours on end and I’m really iffy about “love” right now, but I think it may be happening. I implicitly trust them. We talked early this morning and they tried to talk me through making a kind of pasta and I kept throwing them off course gikefjekdjsks i could go on and on about them, but I’m happy. They make me happy, and make me happy to be me. I’ll call them Auggie, I adore them.

2.) I’ve recently taken up some basic yoga! I’ve always been a flexible person (i was in gymnastics as a wee lass and it stuck) and despite my curvier size it’s been just super calming, I love being flexible. It’s fun! Reminds me of the term I thought up during the Yoga sessions we had at group IOP therapy: “In it for the Shavasana”.

3.) I’m starting to cook more. Currently I live with my parents; when I left my ex, I left the apartment we shared and moved back into my old bedroom. It has… bad memories, but it’s still my room. I’ve since rearranged and decorated it to my liking once again, but I was listless for a loooong while. However, I’ve offered to start cooking once a week since my mom works 4 out of 5 weekdays as a college professor and my dad works 12 hour days sometimes. I’m really good at Japanese dishes for some reason (my staples are okonomiyaki (osaka style) and nikku udon), and I’m making chicken and shrimp yakisoba tomorrow. Auggie is an AMAZING cook so I’m kind of getting competitive, but I’ll need to find some veggie recipies to impress them huh.

4.) My parents’ dog!!!! His name is Ceez, short for Caesar, and this boy LEARNED to open doors in this house so he could visit me whenever. I ask him for a kiss, he gives me tender puppy kisses. I love my dog too, my son, Kai, but he’s with his dad right now. I rarely see him. But Ceez makes that easier, because he’s a goddamn disaster of a doggo. Barely knows where to put his feet. If you guys want a picture I’ll be glad to provide one. (He’s a whippet/italian greyhound mix we adopted, he cute)

5.) I’m starting to love myself more. There are so many things about myself I could hate, but that takes too much energy. I’m tired of self-loathing. I’m tired of that burden. It’s a slow process but it’s happening.
