Every single night, I cry. I don't know why I do.

Maybe it's the yelling, it's my mom's fault. She shouldn't have made it all my problem that she's mentally unstable...

..no. no, it's not. It can't be her fault. She's my mother. She'd never do that.

Maybe it's the fact the 'cuts' always fade from my skin no matter what blade I use. Maybe I need someone to just see how much I've suffered. Like art at a museum. But surely, there's someone who has it worse. I should be happy I get it so easily compared to some others.

Maybe it's the fact that no matter how many meals I skip, I'll never be able to be happy with my body. I'd only be happy if I sexualize my curves. But once again, someone out there has it worse. I shouldn't feel like this.

Maybe it's the constant yelling and slamming of doors done by my parents. The screams on false claims being thrown into each other like two angry neighbors. Maybe it's the fact they won't break up? No..no parents argue all the time. It's normal. I'm just over exaggerating it.

Maybe it's the past experiences. The abuse. He'd never do that. At least, not now. I shouldn't worry about stuff that happened so long ago.. it's not like it's something I care about now.

Maybe, just maybe, it's the void I feel in my stomach. The constant swinging of emotions. Like two sides fighting to burst out of my stomach like they're trapped. The thing that causes me so much pain, simply because I can't express them. But that's my problem. It's my fault for not expressing myself for often. It's my fault for not getting the help I've needed. If I ask for help again, I'll just annoy someone. That's not what I want.

So then why? Why do I cry so much at night? When nobody's around, and I'm in bed? Is it because nobody will come and save me? Am I afraid of being weak? Maybe I'm so used to being this happy, colourful, extroverted shell of myself in front of other people, that I've just forgotten what I'm supposed to do with nobody around. Like my happiness is something I can't get from myself unless I make a fool of myself.

Maybe this is my fault. I don't deserve this happiness. I should be thankful that people wanna talk to me. It's just my fault for covering up my emotions.

Maybe that pill bottle was the answer after all. I should go crawling back to it, as I do with most things I tell myself I'll never see again.
