I grew this in my garden! I planted it in November, it survived the winter, I moved it in spring and now it’s ready in June! The cloves were a gift from our neighbor. Gardening is COOL! 🧄 🧑🌾

I'm 32 and can't drive and people always ask how I get around. But I live in the UK with decent public transport and walkable neighbourhoods so I'm just like. Walking? The bus? The train?
It's the same reason why I never learnt - lessons are expensive, cars are expensive (and scary). I've driven a few times on private property and I'm terrible at it. I'd rather just walk even if it takes like an hour, or get the bus which is still cheaper than buying a whole car and putting fuel in it.
Why isn't "too scary" a good enough reason to never drive a car

SUPER BOOP: hover over (on PC) or hold (on both PC and mobile app) the boop button until it rotates
EVIL BOOP: the same, but wait till it rotates three times

At 24 my life became worth living, at 26 I actually started to enjoy it. My 30's have been my best and happiest decade by far.
I get to be more free as an adult than I ever did as a child and I think more kids need to know that. as a high schooler part of what made my depression so bad was being told over and over again that it was the most carefree time of my life. while I was trapped in an abusive home + amongst bullies at school + in a body that wasn’t right for me. opportunities to be carefree don’t end when you turn 18. you can be more you than ever as an adult and that’s such a gift. I know ‘it can get better’ is an annoying thing to see over and over when you’re as trapped as I was back then. and I know that if you’re still a kid you deserve to be free right this second. but it can and will get better and this is not where life stops being interesting. promise

Being adhd is literally a joke. "Hello i can only work with clear instructions! But if you try and tell me what to do i will imagine myself as a rabid dog gnawing and shaking and biting you as a toy" that's so silly i feel sick

"wait, but what do I say to describe people who cannot get pregnant?" a guide.
Men cannot get pregnant: INCORRECT. Transgender men are men and many are capable of getting pregnant. Also, excludes the plenty of people who are not men who cannot get pregnant.
Cis men cannot get pregnant: INCORRECT. Intersex men who are technically cis, but have uteruses and ovaries, may be capable of pregnancy, even if it's unlikely. Also, excludes the plenty of people who are not men who cannot get pregnant.
Cis perisex men cannot get pregnant: Correct, but excludes the plenty of people who are not men who cannot get pregnant.
People without uteruses cannot get pregnant: Correct, but excludes infertile and menopausal people with uteruses who also cannot get pregnant.
People who cannot get pregnant: CORRECT. Excludes no one.
To use inclusionary language, you don't need to rip through the reeds in search of wider terminology when you could quite literally say things exactly as they are. Inclusive language isn't "overcomplicated" at all. It's straightforward.
