Ok like fuck man can we talk about this page? Cause it's very obvious that Bill is possessive over Ford (case in point with him literally telling Ford he belongs to him multiple times) but I think what sort of gets played down a bit is that Ford is also extremely possessive of Bill by the end of the time when they were working together, and the implications of that. Like. Bill essentially introduces himself as a god of knowledge. A being of pure energy and knowledge, a being greater than any human, in knowledge, lifespan, and power. And Ford by the end of their relationship, is possessive over essentially a fucking god. Like sure some of that is Ford's own ego and Ford becoming accustomed to Bill the past few years so the shock and awe of him being a 'god' is a bit less shiny, and the page in question also is supposed to heavily imply that their relationship is romantic in nature with their jealousy but also. Fucking hell Ford, possessive over a god.

But like... at the same time, Ford does have a claim over Bill. When Bill and Ford made a deal "until the end of time", it meant for the both of them; not just Ford being tied to, claimed by (owned, as Bill says) by Bill, but Bill also being claimed, owned by Ford; it's a marriage contract between the two of them, and they both are supposed to hold power over each other.

rewatching the final arc of og nart and two things:

1. pakkun and the rest of the hounds didn’t need anything to track sasuke and naruto’s scent which leads me to believe that kakashi has made sure his hounds know his kids’ scents just in case he’s not paranoid or anything no why would you suggest that he’s very normal!!!!!!!! he has no reason to ever be afraid of losing the people closest to him!!! pfft he’s fine it’s just a safety precaution!!! ahem, anyway. yeah i think he has his hounds memorized their scents as soon as kakashi passes them during the bell test.

2. pakkun will never not treat kakashi like his pup. sure, kakashi is the pack leader and they defer to him but that’s pakkun’s baby boy. he pretty much raised kakashi after sakumo died and yes, he listens and he follows pack law but that does not mean kakashi isn’t his pup anymore. not even when kakashi is hokage, he’s always gonna be his stupid little pup with no fur. he doesn’t care if kakashi is in charge of the village he will scold him in front of the townspeople if it’s warranted and kakashi will sit with his metaphorical tail tucked between his legs and his head down to receive his tongue lashing. he’ll even let out a little “stooop pakkun, you’re embarrassing me!”

I was expecting something more thematic regarding Wyll's transformation, especially since there are obvious Beauty and the Beast parallels that are just ripe for the taking.

I genuinely expected this character, a heroic monster hunter so in love with fairy tales and romance, to strengthen the narrative surrounding the Tadfools and their fear of death, metamorphosis, or further transformation. For him to bring a completely new thematic resonance to the Emperor's story. For him to embody the city on the verge of discarding their soul to Gortash, the artistocrats, the vampires, and the (maybe futile?) attempt to save the city once again.

Instead, he is simply punished for his good act, and in a way that isn't close to his vow to kill Karlach on his "one good eye."

I really don't know what they were going for with all of that. *Warlock voice* And her contract doesn't make any fucking sense, as pointed out [here] (eta) and [here].

That's why I personally discard it, but I'm curious about what all of you amazing Wyll fans would have done if Larian gave a shit about him. What would you have done?

It takes her seriously and expands on her story, while also leaving space for the characters to breathe. These can be scattered across issues and runs, even ones where she's not the name on the solo. number four - what are these proportions. wait what did she just say?? oh my god this art is really good actually - wait what did she just do????? WHAT??? WHO APPROVED THIS??? WHO THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA??? (the ooc ones)

number five - cameo appearance probably. super sexy spy but you can never trust her hehe! let's ignore how she acts in canon and how many times she's saved the world because she was a Bad Guy™ once. these ones will probably have a lot of sexualization. number six - Being Underestimated™ (either by the narrative or by the characters in the story itself)

Something about Gortash getting Orin to sign the “don’t stab me contracts” by lying and telling her that Durge also had to sign them- and for just a moment Orin latching onto that belief.

Gortash got to live because they literally couldn’t end him, not because there was some sick sort of affection there. Her bloodkin, stupid as they were, would never sink so low as to actually care about anyone, not to mention Bane’s Chosen of all people.

And then promptly finding out/realizing that Gortash is a liar and probably trying to stab him about it
