while this may not seem all that bad, it is absolutely cataclysmic to me. i put all of my spare time into writing. it was my escape, it picked me up when i was down, it freed me when i felt trapped, it calmed me when i felt stressed. i can’t afford to get my phone fixed, and i can’t for the life of me figure out how to fix it myself.

i won’t be able to write as freely anymore, as i can’t get any other apps (like docs) on my phone. i will be rewriting all the requests i had started/nearly finished.

on the bright side, i get a chance to write those requests in a new fashion, maybe with a different perspective.

im genuinely not opposed to changing the layout or whatever, even if i so very very genuinely loathe the mobile-ification of literally fucking EVERYTHING, but this just looks wrong. squashed

the reason why this fuckass layout works over on the other hellsite is that its elements are comparatively larger. that menus options are way too small for comfortable touchscreen access AND just looks SO off. it belongs a couple nothces further to the left, make the middle column larger so it doesnt look like its being throttled by the side-elements.

not that itll look good or help with user retention in the long run, its an eyesore to end all eyesores. but the elements already look weird on my small as all hell laptop, i dont want to imagine that on something smaller, or something MUCH larger.
