#what mods are needed for this
I’m glad you asked! Here’s several ones, I hope I got them all listed:
Horn pack
Lineage 2 Legendary Arms and Armors
NWN2 Facelift Pack
United Colors
Full Voicesets (Including SoU/HotU)
Dire Flail
MP Hairstyles
my vague-ass instructions:
The armor was custom-made in toolset. Go into the nwn2 tutorial module on toolset, then to Items tab in toolset (next to creatures), right click inside the list and hit “Create Blueprint” and choose Campaign. It then shows up at the bottom of the list as Item1, where you will right click and edit item properties in a new window. its default item type is ‘Short Sword’. Change that to Armor, exit item properties, then go back into the item properties to refresh it. Then at the veeeery last tab at the top of that item properties window, labelled Armor Set, you should be able to customize as you like.
Name the custom item and its item tag something easy for you to remember to give to yourself in DebugMode, or drop them inside of the module’s starting area for you to pick up... which is probably easier.
As for adding a tail - If you have Leto 1.69 and go into advanced editor and find ‘Tail’ in the list, you can give him number 8 for Male Tiefling Tail. Where it says Tintable in the advanced editor, for all 3 subcategories you give them all of the same values as the 3 subcategories for Tint_Head. Make sure you right click and save INSIDE the advanced editor after you’re done editing.
If you don’t have Leto, you can use a GFF Editor. I am less familiar with this, but there are some instructions in this video here. (!!!video is NSFW, has nudity in the form of characters’ revealing armors.!!!)
It is easier to create the character and then choose the character’s matching name file in the localvault folder in the documents directory version of Neverwinter Nights 2. (ex. I named him Valen Shadowbreath, so to me, his file is valenshadowbreath.bic). Edit the values from there and save, and start a new game with your edited character. If done right, he should have a tail that more or less matches his skin that moves synced up with his characters’ idle standing animation. (If it looks off, you probably gave him the female tiefling tail model instead.)
If anyone has me on discord and has already downloaded and set up all the required mods, I can send you Valen’s .bic file as a shortcut instead.

That moment when you bring a “BIG” game company to its KNEES and afterwords they finally get it!
Tumblr media
How hard was it to consider that the GAME DOES NOT USE RENDER BASED LOADING SYSTEMS BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT A THING YET WHEN IT WAS MADE!!!!!
While on that note what DUMBASS loser told Beamdog Nevewinter Nights had one and was released in 2010 when a basic SEARCH into the original title by BioWare reveals it was actually on the market on 2002 that’s a very big discrepancy there.
Also why tell them neverwinters graphics were the peak of NWN’s? they were a thing based off NWN2 this game was released during the renaissance of game coding before Graphics engines were first imposed in games. The ENTIRE HEART of the game is the Toolset! you at least want that working if nothing else.

Auri’s Neverwinter Nights Mods
Outside of DA and TES, I’ve also modded the Neverwinter Nights series of games. I don’t have many mods for them, though, and they are largely unsupported, as I rarely play these games anymore.
Neverwinter Nights
Gods of Toril
Tumblr media
https://www.nexusmods.com/neverwinter/mods/902
This is a simple modder's resource module for NWN:EE that includes custom creature blueprints for the 30 major gods of Toril as they are described in the 3e sourcebook, Faiths and Pantheons: Azuth, Bane, Chauntea, Cyric, Eilistraee, Gond, Helm, Ilmater, Kelemvor, Kossuth, Lathander, Lolth, Malar, Mask, Mielikki, Mystra, Oghma, Selûne, Shar, Shaundakul, Silvanus, Sune, Talos, Tempus, Torm, Tymora, Tyr, Umberlee, Uthgar, and Waukeen. The only area in the module is just there for the purpose of getting to the templates in the toolset. There's nothing in it. The deity blueprints are in the Creatures palette on the Custom -> Special tab and grouped by alignment in the Custom 1, 2, and 3 categories. Originally, I had planned to make this a small quest module where the player would have to go through a gantlet of the gods from weakest to strongest before reaching the end. A good chunk of the last year was spent creating and then pitting these gods against each other in order to get that ranking (some fights taking up to 45 minutes to complete - I thought they'd never end). Unfortunately, by the time I was ready for the quest creation part, I lost motivation, and so I decided to upload what I had as a modder's resource, instead. If you're interested in the test results, they're at the end of the mod description on the Nexus mod page, along with extensive notes about the gods' NPC AI. Ultimately, you are free to use these blueprints in your own modules/creations so long as you give me credit for the extensive work I put into making them. Please don't upload this module as it is to any other website, however.
Neverwinter Nights 2
Judge of the Damned
Tumblr media
https://www.nexusmods.com/neverwinter2/mods/236/?
This mod gives the Lord of the Dead a new look - sharper and more lore-friendly, with a couple of bug fixes. I love Mask of the Betrayer. It is among my most favorite games of all time. But the end is lacking a little punch for our illustrious narrator. I'm the kind of player who likes to repeat the original campaigns, and I got a little tired of Kelemvor's bland and buggy look. This mod aims to provide a better, more lore-friendly texture for him...and fix a few problems with his body model, should you follow the included tutorial.
True Fatal Touch
Tumblr media
https://www.nexusmods.com/neverwinter2/mods/1171
Years ago, I fixed Kelemvor's outfit, and nine years later I'm fixing his sword, lol. Well. His sword doesn't actually show up in-game (unfortunately), but reference to it does appear in the Doomguide PrC added by Storm of Zehir. But even though the developers did an admirable job at transferring the pen-and-paper features of the Doomguide to NWN2's engine, they missed one huge error in the recreation - in the feat description of the Bond of Fatal Touch, they refer to Kelemvor's weapon as a scythe, when it is, in fact, a bastard sword. Indeed, it is correct everywhere else in the game BUT the Doomguide's signature power description, which perhaps makes the mistake even more frustrating to a loremonger like myself. XD Thus, this mod corrects the errors in the description of the Bond of Fatal Touch special ability, including a typo, the lack of italicization of the weapon's name, and the non lore-friendly icon (see the images for before and after pics). I also fixed the missing colon in the class description that was hidden by the severe slant of the italics in Fatal Touch's name. Now there are no more references to scythes where they don't belong or other small annoyances. :) Unfortunately, in order to make these corrections, I had to edit the dialog.tlk file, which means you will have to overwrite any modded dialog.tlk with the one included in this download or merge it yourself to have both. PLEASE BACK UP YOUR ORIGINAL DIALOG.TLK in your My Documents -> Neverwinter Nights 2 folder (if you have one there) BEFORE INSTALLING THIS MOD IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG. If you don't have one there, you're good to go. To fix the icon, you'll need to drop the included altered feat.2da in the My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/override folder. Naturally, this mod is incompatible with any other mod that alters the dialog.tlk or the feat.2da file. Also, in order to use this mod, you will need to have Storm of Zehir installed.
Auri’s NWN2 Music Edits
Tumblr media
https://www.nexusmods.com/neverwinter2/mods/1179
I love video game soundtracks... so much so that I think it is my favorite genre of music outside of film scores. And just like with films, music can make or break a video game publication. Neverwinter Nights 2's OST, especially that of Mask of the Betrayer, is one that I think most certainly makes the game. However, there were a few tracks that bothered me, and after finally figuring out the basics of audio-editing software, I set out to make adjustments to the tracks that irked me the most. This mod features three edited tracks that you can download separately and can easily install/uninstall any time you like. For each edited track, I've included which expansion is required to use them; if you have the GOG version of NWN2, you should already have all the expansions available, but if you're still using an installation from the original disks, please take note of which track is for which expansion before downloading. Here are each of the tracks that have been edited and how they've been altered. Also, spoilers galore, just so you know (do note that previews are available on the NexusMods page).
Storm of Zehir - Main Menu Theme
As good as the SoZ theme is, I tired very quickly of hearing the blaring horns every time I started up the game, and I found myself feeling nostalgic for the far darker theme from Mask of the Betrayer (which was actually the only expansion I had for a very long time). For me, the MotB theme was the theme for NWN2, and I wanted to switch back to it. Not only that, but I also wanted the theme to sound even darker. So I made a few adjustments to pitch and tempo and created an alternate variation that is lower, slower, and even more ominous than the original.
Mask of the Betrayer - Fugue Plane Combat
This track plays after the initial fight outside the gates of the City of Judgment and features in most of the CoJ's districts. Whether you side for or against the Crusade, this should be a track that tells the player "you shouldn't be here", and while the original track is good, I felt it could also be darker. So, similarly to the main theme, I made the track slower and lower in pitch, making the background "ambient" sounds also a little less harsh on the ears. Additionally, I feel the slower tempo fits the combat pacing of the whole area better.
Mask of the Betrayer - Dreamscape Music
Interestingly enough, this track only plays in one dreamscape that I remember, despite the sheer number of them the player encounters. In fact, I believe this track is far more memorable from its feature in the final area of the game, after the player travels to the location of their soul in the CoJ. Indeed, it's basically the backing track to Kelemvor's conversations with the player, and as such, I felt it should support his presence just a bit better. Thus, this one has been the most heavily edited, with the stranger segments cut out in favor of the mellower ones that have been slowed, lowered in pitch, and looped.
Just unzip the archive and drop the existing folders into your My Documents -> Neverwinter Nights 2 folder. If you already have soundtrack replacements for those specific tracks, you might want to back them up, just in case you want to revert for any reason. To uninstall, just delete the .bmu files.

Also check out Lilura1′s  Neverwinter Nights 2 Best Mods Modules Guide.
*May replace/clash with/not get along with other mods. It won’t wreck anything, but some mods may not work as intended mixed together. I have yet to find a way to make them mesh.
Anything italicized is something I haven’t used, myself.
Some of the clothings and armors will have to be created in NWN2 toolset, and/or uploaded into module haks. The haks will have to be installed in each module’s haks list in order for it to look the same in each one. Otherwise it won’t be recognized and it will look like you’re wearing colorful default pajamas.
Tumblr media
Open module
Tumblr media
on the mid-to-bottom right there is a bunch of icons, one of them for item blueprints that exist in the module (at least in mine). Right click, create blueprint.
Tumblr media
Highlight Item1 and right click, select Properties (New Window). It will generate a list of properties; first change Base Item from Short Sword to Armor. (in the item properties window you can also rename the item, give it an inventory icon, and edit Item Properties to make it overpowered af)
Tumblr media
Exit the properties window. Re-open properties window. On the top of the properties window there are several tabs, and Armor Set will give you options to edit armor appearance and color.
Tumblr media
Play around with the dropdown boxes in each category of Main type and Main variation. You should see some of your custom armor choices in there. Don’t forget to check the little boxes for hat/gloves/belt/cloak/boots if you want to add them to your custom armor’s looks.
