song im listening to gets me thinking of a vampire-anthro au with my ocs snail & king with snail being a vampire hunter tracking down king, who very clearly resembles a vampire (fangs, aesthetics, snail swears he saw him turn into a bat once)

only for king to tell him "oh im not a vampire hehe :)"

now snail's disappointed, not because he wasted all that time tracking him down but he really wanted King to drink his blood

the song is Very Obviously about that so im not coming up with anything super unique. Only twist being is there's no vampire. Just some guy

HOWEVER, I think they would be repressing so much stress during veilguard that stepping on a snail in that moment would become kind of the last straw. not talking from personal experience at all

anyway, i think Zea normally wouldn't like. cry about accidentally killing a little creature like a snail. Like, they would be sad, but you know, cest la vie, the mere fact of existing brings with it many small accidental deaths that we just have to come to terms with, if we notice them at all.
