Which, I should say it since people not in our group chat have no idea who he is. Avarice Gallagher is a humanized version of Outlander! He acts similarly, but not exactly like, his demon origin, and was originally designed for the fate series. There is a possibility that he could become his own thing, though…

20) What hobbies does your OC have?

Avarice usually dedicates himself to his mage studies, which leaves him with little time for hobbies. He is a very hard worker and he’s proud of that. Why would he be concerned with trivial enjoyments?

…But I think he’d like baking for fun. He’d think of it as a less-magical alchemy experiment, but that wouldn’t make it any less fun.

21) Any embarrassing secrets your OC demands you take to the grave but you will share anyway?

Ooh, yeah, I have a couple! You gotta promise me that you won’t tell Avarice I said this, though <3

First of all: Avarice cries really easily, especially when he’s angry or frustrated. Unfortunately for him, it’s hard to hide that since he wears mascara.

And secondly, he practiced his laugh in front of a mirror for years in order to make it sound more intimidating. Avarice very proud of his evil cackle and would be verrrry embarrassed if everyone knew it was fake!

Ahhhh who am I kidding. The Games are on the mind, so I’m going to talk about my Games cast: Doodle, Avarice, and Medea. I’ll answer with whatever questions are the most juicy but aren’t super big spoilers ;)

How does your OC deal with loneliness? Have they ever been completely alone before? How do they act when there's no one around to see them?

This is going to be the first time that Doodle is completely alone for long periods of time. Doodle usually distracts themself with their thoughts to avoid the ache that loneliness brings… but in avoiding one fear, they’ll have to grapple with the fact that they are in a death match with little chance of surviving. Keeping themself together and alive will be hard, to say the least…

What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?

All Avarice wants is to be recognized as a great mage. He’s been training his whole life to be placed in a death match to prove himself… and, well, maybe this death match wasn’t the one he was expecting, but he’s still going to prove himself, and the whole world shall know that! Avarice truly doesn’t care how dirty his hands will have to be to win. He’d rather die than seem like less than he is, and he is fully prepared to die.

Or so he thinks.

Medea, meanwhile, doesn’t exactly want to gain recognition. Instead, he wants to shed his connection to Doodle. Everything about Doodle is lesser and pathetic. Medea hates the fact that they made from Doodle, much less associated with them. Medea is fine with letting people know that, but the methods they take to get what they want will remain a secret to all but Medea.

What's the worst possible future for your OC? Are they taking steps to avoid that outcome? Are they even aware it's a possibility?

None of them are aware of their fates, but their worst possible future for all three of them would be (as vaguely as possible):

Surviving (for Avarice)

Having foresight (for Doodle)

And never changing (for Medea)

Who or what haunts your OC? What happened? How do they live with their ghosts?

Doodle is haunted… but they’re not sure by what. What hounds them seems to be a force that they can never see or perceive.

Avarice is haunted by his legacy. A couple centuries ago, a woman by the name of Nora Gallagher made a fateful decision that affects Avarice to the present day.

And Medea is haunted by their former selves, Doodle and Jinx. If only Medea could rip themself away from their origins.

What is your OC guilty about? How do they handle their? Do they try to avoid guilt, or do they accept it?

Medea has nothing to feel guilty about… but the actions of Doodle and Jinx make them feel uneasy and regretful in ways they can’t quite pin. It’s a stupid feeling, they know- why should they feel guilty about something they couldn’t control?!

…Medea suspects this way of thinking comes from Doodle. It’s just like them to pin the blame on themself for things they couldn’t solve. They hate it.

What does your OC hide? Why do they hide it?

As best as he can, Avarice hides his legacy from anyone he meets. He flinches whenever someone else says his last name. Gallagher. It means outsider, y’know. There’s an odd sense of irony to it…

What keeps your OC up at night? Do they have nightmares? Fears? Anxieties? What do they do in the small hours of the morning when they should be sleeping?

There’s a lot of worries that Doodle has to keep them awake at night. The fear of dying in the games… what if they starve? What if their death is super painful? What if their death is super lame and boring? They have no idea which would be worse…

Plus, there are other things to worry about. Why are they in the Games in the first place? Why them? Why is Avarice here as well? Does he understand the depth of what’s going on? And… what about the swirling pit of dread at the back of their brain?

They try their best not to cry in the nights, even though their anxieties overwhelm their emotions. They’ll do all they can to distract themself… perhaps by drawing or singing to themself.

Is your OC monstrous in any way? Is there something that makes them monstrous? Are they aware of their own monstrosity? Do they accept it or reject it?

Doodle refuses to be monstrous. They’re supposed to be kind and helpful… not monstrous :(

Avarice will never be monstrous.

Medea, however? Of course she’s a monster. She has… mixed feelings on it, but there is a certain sense of pride that comes with being a monster.

What does your OC have nightmares about? How do they deal with their nightmares? Do they tell people, or keep it to themself?

Doodle often has nightmares that are Alien-esque scenes of something bursting out of their stomach. But that likely means nothing.

Avarice is often a pretty lucid dreamer, and his nightmares will often include massive monsters with wings. He’ll fight them off as best as he can, but his nightmares end up with him being swallowed and eaten more often than not.

Medea’s worst nightmares often consist of having a calm conversation with Doodle.

What's the worst pain your OC has ever felt? Do they have a high pain tolerance?

Doodle has a very, very low pain tolerance. The worst pains they’ve ever felt are all emotional, since they’ve been very careful to never break a bone or hurt themself drastically.

What's one secret your OC never wants anyone to know about them?

Avarice bullies people for watching My Little Pony because he knows that if he watched it, he’d really like it.

How comfortable is your OC in their skin? Do they grapple with anything that lives inside them—a beast, a curse, a failure, a monster? How do they face the smallest, weakest, most horrible version of themself? Are they able to acknowledge it at all?

Medea? Comfortable in her own skin? What a joke.

Medea will never be able to escape the fact that her body was never really hers. It was Doodle’s. And they will always look like Doodle- same proportions, same face shape, same voice- and loathe the fact that they cannot shapeshift.

It’s the worst feeling. If Medea must exist, can’t it be in a body of their own?! How repulsive.

How does your OC handle being wounded? Are their wounds mostly physical? Mental? Emotional? What's the worst wound your OC has ever experienced?

As mentioned, Doodle’s low pain tolerance will be no help to them if they ever get seriously wounded. Not only will it be agonizing physically, but it will serve as a blow to their pride as well, something that’s already incredibly fragile. They are in for a horrible time in the Games :)

Avarice can handle physical wounds just fine- he knows several spells to heal or speed up healing. No magic can truly prepare mental wounds, and the scab that his family name is keeps getting picked open.

…Medea has (less-than-kindly) asked me not to disclose information regarding them in this question. I suppose they have a point… I think I’ve said enough about them in this ask. She’s wishing me dead even more than usual.

Too bad I can’t die, sucker. Comes with not having a character arc. B)

Well, how about gossiping and talking shit? That’s also a no?!

I guess Medea doesn’t have any clear hobbies. They have a dislike of certain activities- such as anything creative, like drawing or writing- but nothing that excites them personally.

Oh yeah! He’s embarrassed by the fact that, as one of my sonas, he’s the same height as me. AND she can’t even do anything about it, because she HATES wearing heels or platforms.
