MEET MY PARTY!

PJO Ocs Edition

So I had the silly idea of introducing the main characters of Immortal Legacy, the PJO based rp campaing I've been playing with my friends since 2019! After so many years, we've done a lot of adventures together and this story has a very special place in my heart <3

Godly parent: Hades

Pronouns: she/ her

Age: 15 at the beggining of rp, 16 now

Fatal flaw: trustfullness

Weapon: styxian sword

Powers: shadow travel and necromancy (good control), geokinesis, osteokinesis, umbrakinesis... (medium control), ferrokinesis (little control), cryokinesis (no control, only fueled by strong negative emotions).

Personality: really shy at first. Stubborn, sarcastic and impulsive, but also loyal and caring for her friends.

When her mortal mother passed away, Hades took custody of her. Silver left to live in the underworld without saying anything, leaving her mortal little brother behind. In the years that Silver spent in the Underworld, she was being trained by Achilles' ghost and met her best friend Lea, a boy who was being tutored by Medea!

After so many years missing in the Underworld, no authorities were able to find her, so she was presumed dead. Her goal is to find her mortal brother, who is somewhere in NY, but the fates may have other plans...

Powers: very lots of magic. Not only control over the Mist, but real witchy levels of magic. Very skilled in the majority of it, he's considered one of the most powerfull descendants of Hekate.

Personality: friendly, funny and always supportive, but also highly competitive. Can be ruthless and proud sometimes, but that's not something you should worry about as long as you're on his side.

Hekate took Lea with her to the Underworld when the Fates announced a great future for him, even tho he was still a baby. Since then, Lea has been studying magic from different tutors. First from Pasiphaë, then from Medea. When he was 14 he traveled to Eea, as Circe's new apprentice. There he met the only person who was able to match his magic: Millicent, a daugther of Bacchus and his most hated academical rival. After graduating at Circe's Lea returned to New York, looking for Chi.

Age: 19 at the beggining of rp, 20 now

Fatal flaw: loyalty

Weapon: katana

Powers: Energy balance: when in disadvantage, his stats can boost to match his opponent. The boost increases if the source of his reason is vengance.

Personality: sincere, responsible, friendly and protective! Definitely the big brother anyone would want.

Moved out from Japan with his father to New York, where he lived a no-so-lethal childhood. Started to attend Camp Half-Blood at the age of 11 every summer and, eventually, moved there all year round. He's actually captain of cabin 16 and the sword teacher of younger demigods.

These three have a siblings dinamic that makes me so emotional, found family has and always be my favorite trope. THIS is my GOLDEN TRIO. Seriously, I can't spend a day without thinking about them 😭😭😭 Feel free to ask anything about them! If you ask vía question box in my profile I'll happily answer with some doodles :3

i have two takes on utmv which are called "legacy" and "angel". legacy is sans-centric, angel is just me reassigning sanses as other utdr characters that make more sense to me and generally reimagining stuff. i do adore legacy and similar interpretations but i also find studying the mischaracterization of it all really fun...!! it's really interesting to me to try and puzzle out what would have to happen in the bounds of canon to end up with an AT like dusttale for an example ..! i don't find the sans-centrism "inferior" by any means, im just havin my fun :o] i wanted to clear that up before anyone got the wrong idea ;;

the love and compassion and silliness at the heart of undertale is very important to me so all of my takes on utmv stuff are like. really lighthearted. i don't avoid delving into the terrors (my favorites Are the Bad Snasnes™ so like,) but the way i portray these freaks when compared to canon is interesting. i hope this is obvious. it’s an avenger and a ruler. demonstrates the fact that they’re polar opposites but still good as a ship.

reference to how they work really well together in defeating wyverns in fate/grand order. may include kojiro if i find some siegfried/kojiro art i like.

i like these two, especially in the salem chapter. the ship name is reference to their roles: one is a thief, one is an executioner. i was also thinking of giving them a title like “the new fruk” cause that’s basically what they are lol.

Anadolu hikâyelerinde kadın karakterlerin ürkek hâllerine alışkınız; fakat Medine herkese kafa tutan, güçlü bir kadın… Siz hangi aşamada Medine olmaya karar verdiniz? Senaryoyu okur okumaz! Hem senaryonun kendisi, edebi gücü, hem de Medine karakteri çarptı beni. Okur okumaz çok etkilendim, çünkü böyle kadın karakterler çok fazla yazılmıyor… Bir erkek karaktere bağımlı olmayan, bütün köye meydan okuyabilecek kadar güçlü bir kadın Medine. Bu anlamda, daha önce yine çok severek oynadığım Cemal Şan’ın Dilber’ini hatırlatıyor. Ama Medine biraz daha deli. Dilber daha çok duygularıyla hareket eden bir kadındı; Medine ise daha mantıklı ve kurnazca hareket ediyor. Aslında ben anne rollerinden hâlâ biraz uzak durmaya çalışıyorum ama bu rolde hiç tereddüt etmedim.

Karakterin hedefi oğluna bir sünnet düğünü yapabilmek ve bu düğünün görkemiyle statü atlamayı istiyor. Siz bu tür statülere çok da prim tanımayan bir dünya görüşünün içinden geliyorsunuz. Durduğunuz noktadan Medine’ye bakmak zor olmadı mı? Ben bu filmi bir maske düşürme hikâyesi olarak görüyorum. Köyün en fakir ailesinin hanımı Medine, 27 yaşında bir kadın, iki çocuğu var… Beş yaşındaki oğluna sünnet düğünü yapmak ve “en fakir aile” sıfatından kurtularak statü atlamak, saygınlık kazanmak istiyor. Bunlar hiçbirimize yabancı duygular değil. İstersen dağın tepesinde yaşa, istersen bir metropolde, herkes saygı görmek ister. Medine de bu hedefe ulaşmak için sezgileriyle hareket ediyor. Onun ruh hâlini çok iyi anlayabiliyorum.

Kutluğ Ataman ile siyasî duruşunuz Gezi olayları döneminde çok keskin bir şekilde ayrıldı. Siz aktif bir şekilde direnişe destek olurken, Kutluğ Ataman karşıt bir noktada durdu. Bu aranızda bir sorun yaratmadı mı? Senaryoyu okuduğum, filme başladığımız esnada henüz Gezi olayları yaşanmamıştı ve ben doğal olarak Kutluğ’un o sırada nasıl bir tavır içinde olacağını bilmiyordum. Kendisini Twitter’dan takip ediyordum, bütün filmlerini, video çalışmalarını biliyordum ama politik anlamda benden bu kadar uzak bir noktada durabileceğini hayal etmemiştim. Bu anlamda film çekildikten sonra tereddüt ettiğim oldu ama şu açıdan vicdanım çok rahat: Kuzu çok güzel bir film, Medine mükemmel yazılmış bir karakter ve Kutluğ’un politik fikirleriyle ortaya çıkan filmi birbirinden ayrı ayrı değerlendirebiliyorum. Benim düşüncelerim beni, bir başkasının düşünceleri de kendisini ilgilendirir ve bu açıdan ikimiz için de çok profesyonel, aynı zamanda medeni bir süreç oldu. Bizim zaten en önemli toplumsal sorunlarımızdan biri, bu kutuplaşmış ortamda farklı şeyler düşündüklerimizle yan yana gelebileceğimiz zemini kaybetmiş olmamız. Ben, karşımdakiyle aynı doğrultuda düşünmesem de onunla aynı projede ve yer alabileceğim bir alanı yaratma çabasının değerli olduğuna inanıyorum. Ayrıca filmin bütün bunlarla hiçbir ilgisi yok. Mesela Medine karakteri muhafazakârların kolayca alıp bağırlarına basabileceği bir karakter değil; hattâ onların hiç hoşlanmayacakları bir kadın.

Buna rağmen Kuzu’ya Kutluğ Ataman sebebiyle önyargıyla yaklaşacak bir kesim muhakkak olacaktır. Bu kaygı Antalya’da vardı, filmin bu açıdan nasıl karşılanacağı merak ediliyordu. Ama hem seyirci hem de jüri filme büyük bir sıcakkanlılıkla yaklaştı. Bu sene jüri çok farklı kesimden insanlardan oluşuyordu ve yine de Kuzu’ya En İyi Film ödülü verildi. Bu da filmin iyi ve hikâyenin güzel olmasının göz ardı edilmediğini gösteriyor. Film kendi ayakları üzerinde duruyor ve söylemesi gerekeni söylüyor; insanlar da Kuzu’nun değerini bunlara bakarak değerlendiriyor. Önemli olan da bu.

Ekrandaki projelerde bazı karakterlerin karikatürize edilmesinden rahatsız olduğunuzu biliyorum. Herhangi bir dizide, mesela sahici bir lezbiyen kadın izleyebilecek miyiz sizce? Keşke buna dair umutlu bir şey söyleyebilsem ama Türkiye bu anlamda giderek daha tutucu bir yer oluyor. Atıf Yılmaz’ın kadın karakterlerini hatırlayın mesela. Bugün artık böyle kadın rolleri yazılmıyor sinemada. Geçen gün Ahmet Hakan bir köşe yazısında Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu’nu eleştiriyordu. Biliyorsunuz, “Erkek gibi konuş, çık erkek gibi anlat!” benzeri cümleleri pek sık duyarız politikacıların ağzından. Ana muhalefet partisinin başkanı da böyle bir cümle kurunca, “Bari sen yapma Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu” diyordu Ahmet Hakan yazısında. Özetle, bu kadar ataerkil, bu kadar homofobik bir ülkede farklı cinsel yönelimlere ne derece kucak açılır, bilemiyorum. Bırakın televizyonu, sinemada bile karikatürize edilmeden ne kadar değiniliyor ki? Keşke “Evet yapılabilecek, biz bu sorunlarla yüzleşiyoruz, demokratlaşıyoruz, ifade özgürlüğü gittikçe yerleşiyor” diyebilsem…

Sizin de dâhil olduğunuz bir grup oyuncunun canlandırdıkları rol için Kürtçe öğrenmeleri de konuşuldu geçenlerde; hattâ Vildan Atasever “Aborijin dili öğrensem bu kadar tuhaf karşılanmazdı!” dedi. Bu meselenin haber değerinin olması çok tuhaf değil mi? Bu da bir tabuydu çok yakın zamana kadar. Çok eleştirdiğimiz iktidar bu tabunun yıkılmasında büyük bir rol oynadı aslında; aldı ve bir noktaya kadar getirdi. Barış süreci nasıl yürüyecek, nasıl sonlanacak, bunu henüz öngöremiyoruz ama şu an geldiğimiz nokta çok kıymetli. Hiçbir gencin Türk-Kürt çatışmasında ölmediği bir Anadolu her şeyden daha önemli. Sürecin bu noktada olması tamamen iktidarın başarısı değil elbette, Kürt halkının inadı çok önemliydi. Mesela Erol Mintaş, Annemin Şarkısı’nı baştan sona Kürtçe çekerek bu inadın sinemadaki bir temsilini sundu bize. Vildan’ın söylediğine de katılıyorum ve bu anlamda Gezi’nin ciddi bir kırılma noktası olduğunu düşünüyorum. Biz medyanın ne kadar içi boş ve yalan üreten bir makine olduğunu gördük ve Batı’dakiler ilk defa, “Biz burada ölüyorken bunlar penguenlerle ilgili haber yapıyorsa, demek ki 30 yıldır Doğu’da neler olup bitti de neler seyrettirdiler bize” dediler nihayet.

Kuzu yakında vizyona giriyor ve Şubat’ta da Son Mektup. Sizin için yakın gelecekte daha çok sinema mı var, yoksa ekrana dönüş söz konusu mu? İstediğim daha çok sinema tabiî ki. Ben senede ortalama iki film yapan bir oyuncuyum. Eğer senede iki-üç film yapabilecek durumda olursam herhalde televizyonu çok aramam. Ama Türkiye şartlarında televizyona otomatikman hayır demek de pek mümkün değil. Projenin beni heyecanlandırması çok önemli. Mesela Ağır Roman: Yeni Dünya bugüne kadar bittiğine üzüldüğüm tek projedir, çünkü Kara Leyla beni çok çarpan, çok emek verdiğim bir karakterdi. Ben her zaman senaryoya, kahramana ve kendimi orada görüp göremeyeceğime bakıyorum. Bunun dışındaki meseleler çok da önemli değil.
