I use to be non sharing but I realize how lonely it can be when there's no one I can yap to about my beloveds and gush over my son's small achievements and our family pets' proud messes haha - So now I'm open !!!

Sorry to anyone who likes reader fics here! But:

Folks, I Do. Not. Understand. Reader characters. I do not get it. Not one little bit. Maybe it's the Old in me talking, maybe it's the fact that it's almost totally limited to smut fic, maybe it's the fact I first encountered it in a fandom where I was firmly convinced the main character was aroace (Din Djarin, looking at you!) and so the idea of reading him in smut with "me" at the helm was just a visceral hell no for me. I don't know. I like smut fine! I've written plenty of it! I have a (sadly now defunct) blog called @smuttyfoolishness ! But if you write that "MY" tits are doing something my reaction is OH HELL NO THEY AREN'T. I have blocked every single permutation of reader this, reader that that I can think of and they still keep appearing somehow. I don't understand "reader" having a romance or fling with my blorbo, because I am not supposed to be in that situation at all. I am supposed to be holding my blorbo like a dolly and mashing them together with another dolly and hollering "NOW KISS." I am not In the Situation, I make the Situation. It just makes me recoil to think otherwise. I have no problem with people enjoying it since it clearly somehow (again I do not understand how??) makes many people happy, but I scroll away instantly, blacklist tags, block or unfollow when it pops up.

Now as to writing original characters, I've written many NaNoWriMos and wrote my first novella-length story when I was 13. Will I forever love my first real OC Philocia Trenn, no matter how cringey she was back in 1997? Of course I will and I do, she is a smol precious polyglot bean. I also love writing for any of my Shepards, Wardens, Hawkes and Inquisitors, though that's a bit different -- we're all starting from a similar jumping off point with our characters as a feature of the game, not a bug, and then branching out to differentiate them. It's always felt different to me than coming up with an OC in a TV-based fandom, and I've had little interest in writing about a Star Wars, Severance, Steven Universe, etc. OC. I do appreciate people who do them well with complex backstories and the like, I just have no draw to them myself.

Okay. My Sole Survivor Dollie romances Danse, but very much almost wound up with Curie. They’re both very sweet and Curie would help Dolls keep some of that sweetness in the Wasteland. They end up very close friends. Dollie and Deacon could have had a super toxic romance. I could also see Dolls and Preston being a really good pairing, keeping each other afloat. I think she’d be really interesting with a post personal quest Cait. Dollie could show Cait so much love and caring!!

My Inquisitor Atticus romanced Dorian. If not for Dorian he may have had a fling with Iron Bull, but really Dorian’s the one for him. May have ended up in a kind of Platonic Partnership with Josephine honestly, they are very close friends and it would be good for both of their families if they married each other.

If my Warden Tabris didn’t end up with Alistair she may have ended up with Zevran. They have a lot of common ground on the lives they led and what it’s like being an elf in the city. They flirt a bit regardless, and probably could have had a pretty compatible partnership if not for Ali’s goofy easy-going disposition and those puppy dog eyes that won Asleatia over. My Commander Shepard would love to smooch Tali if only lesbians were allowed to exist in video games. Ideally, Shep/Garrus/Tali is what I’d want. They’ve all got two hands ya know.

My V is super into her favorite Ripper Doc but of course he’s unromanceable so I definitely dated both River and Judy. Honestly, she and Panam would be an unstoppable couple and I am so sad that Panam wasn’t a bi option come on. 😭

+Born 3rd out of 10 kids in a military family  she has always had a serious and very disciplined mentality. Since she was 4 she had been training to be an admiral  like her father. Thought that never stopped her form becoming close and childhood friends with Julian. Once in her adult years she  joined military, becoming a officer then quickly moving to Admeral. Her country be allies of Vesuvia, she has met Lucio, and Nadia due to warfare. Lucio always questioning her authority due to her always hiding her face with  a dust mask and some of her curly bangs. Meanwhile Nadia showing her some respect, befriending her, and welcomeing her to to the castle anytime. After a few years, specifically after the plauge and Nadia wakes up she moves to Vesuvia, into her late Uncle's Manor. After being settled she returns to the castle, Nadia thankfully rembering her somewhat and ends up helping  her with Julian's case. Where she ends up in the west wing and blood binding herself to Lucio….

Her Unfortunate Name

+Her Name was supposed to be Dolly, but her parents were so out of it when she was born  they called her Despair.

Her Non- Battle scars

+Unfortunately she was born without  a right eye, no build at all in that area just smooth skin. When she was about 6 she would wear an eye patch to cover it. And all her playmates thought it was cool.  But then around when she was 6 without her parents permission, her grandparents on her mother's side took her to a shady doctor to get her an eye. None of that went in her favor and she ended up getting big ugly scars all over her face.  To cover up her scars some of her afro covers her face and she always wears a dust mask. Even to this day.

Ilya and Despair

+After the incident with her grandparents she became selectively mute,  and her face was 95% covered. Because of this she lost her main play mates. Now oneday while she was  of play with toys by herself, a certain red head asked if she wanted to play pirates with him. That certain red head was Ilya. And from that  one interaction sparked a long friendship, full of fun until they both went there separate ways for jobs, only to be reunited in a situation where Despair has to save his hide from getting hanged.

Getting  To  Know  The  Account

What  Inspired  You  To  Take  On  This  Muse These Muses: I needed a space to throw a bunch of other misc characters / bring retired blog muses here so I could write them again. I really just wanted to bring out more middle aged women (with a couple of younger exceptions) that are all bi or lesbian. I don’t know why i hated multi muses in the past. I fuckin love them now.

What  Are  Your  Favorite  Aspects  Of  Your  Current  Muse(s):  That they all love and date women. ha. but no for real, they all usually have an aspect of their lives that involves challenging the norm/current situation/context that they’re in and the things that come with that.
