#deni's art#deni's stuff#oc art#oc tag#horizon oc#horizon au#oc: dailah#dailah x talanah#oc x canon#talanah khane padish#i just got thinking about how dailah must feel about the hunters' lodge. bc of a future post-timeskip fic i started writing#where - this is after the whole cyborg fross thing happens - she warns fross he can't be seen by the hunters' lodge ppl#because instead of seeing and appreciating the technological prowess behind such a monumental scientific achievement#they'll instead see a new cool machine to shoot and kill to prove their hunting skills - and perhaps become sunhawk#(i don't know exactly how he would rank respective to other machines but i do believe he would be harder to kill than most)#and her dialogue just seemed so... resigned. to the idea that machine hunters might try to target her life's work. her crown jewel#for what she sees as a quick buck and a little praise and perhaps an authority title#so of course i started wondering how far back this opinion goes and how her opinion on the lodge has changed over time#because of course she has respect for her brother who gave his life in the massacre#and i'm sure she understands it matters when they're protecting civilians against the machines#but that's not gonna be relevant anymore once GAIA is repaired and all the machines are peaceful again is it?#it's just gonna be a pure show of raw strength again. and then.... i wanna hear her thoughts on it then#because she's always had that fascination with old world tech. i'm sure she feels it's a waste to kill machines and use them as trophies#instead of studying them and learning from them#but then i remembered the fic i wrote about her having a crush on talanah#so instead of writing a smart and nuanced character analysis about it i did the sensible thing and made this meme 👍#hope it gets the idea across!

I know eventually I'm gonna have to make a Palace AU for Dailah just like I made one for Kai and Fross and it's gonna be sun-themed (mostly for her religious trauma but partially for her interest in space) and it's gonna have all of the shame she doesn't express out loud if she can't help her. Maybe I'll deck her out in Sun Queen clothes, get two birds with one stone. Or - maybe I'll make it about her perfectionism, she knows about the shame but I don't think she realizes she never escaped the perfectionism, she just redirected it. It would make sense for that to stay relegated to her subconscious

I NEED to do something for the Horizon x P5R crossover like desperately !!!
#i told myself i would after playing p/5s but. well. i haven't touched it again so. the prospects of that are not looking great#and yes there's artekai but since i'm always talking about just him even *i* forget he's supposed to be this crossover's love child#i did have that fross&yusuke idea and the zenith!okumura au idea (which i still wanna draw) but those hardly count#and designing pt outfits and personas really IS hard. do i really wanna do that 😭#one thing i do wanna get around to is beta's awakening. bc that's one thing i know only i could do the way i want it (< full of headcanons)#buuuut i would also have to design her outfit for that first 😭#maybe i'll just stick to my ocs' pt outfits hmm. or i'll practice with those first before i design if i wanna go for it with canon#i do already have ideas for fross's and dailah's outfits (and kai's just the same one he has in the p/5r au)#ramble#p5r horizon au

Dailah vs Fross for the ask game!
Oooooh, that's an interesting one! 🤔
If they're at full power and have access to their usual arsenal, definitely Fross. This is a common theme with him because a combination of invincible shield + nanites + levitation tech basically makes him impossible to defeat to all and any mortals regardless of skill.
In equal conditions though... I feel like neither of them can really hold their own in a fight, but Dailah would have an edge over Fross simply because she's more decisive and resourceful, you know? Besides, Fross would probably be busy panicking while Dailah is already getting ready to attack :')
Though, I do like the idea of Fross learning some self-defense post-canon, because he's gonna need it SO BAD if he survives singularity, so maybe then he'll be able to defeat Dailah, hehe ^^
