Ulrik... Nah, they're still big. 🤡 So, it would be Altair!

Ash probably, and Juliva.

21. Do any of your characters have heterochromia?

Ash! She's my only character whith heterochromia, and it wasn't even intended at first. But, writing her background story and the part where she's gravely wounded during a hunting accident changed one of her natural green eyes to a blue-ish hue.

22. Do any of your characters have someone named after them? Or are they named after someone else?

Altair isn't the only "Altair" branch in his very extensive family tree, and also Mereel (one of the kids rescued by the Mandos on Aq Vetina in "The Foundlings") has obviously been named after Mand'alore Jaster Mereel.

29. Are any of your characters nameless? (In that there is no legal record of them existing, they just don’t have names in canon, or history remembers them but not their name?)

... Not one that I talked about here, but he's only known as "Sarge".

Yep! Jo and Josh, Merry's cousins. And Guten and Borg, Ash's adoptive brothers (she's the adopted one).

Ash again! After the hunting accident, she almost died while being treated because of said fever. Luckily, Walter and the Crone were good at healing people... 😰

Vivian, by her baby sister. She loved her, but so did her parents and she felt left aside. And sadly, she didn't imagine it even though she might have exaggerated it all in her child's mind...

Ash was, Zak too... And Elara, somewhat. But also the main character of a fantasy story with dragons I wrote long time ago.

Neal, even though he isn't around as much as he should, but Korben too. I think Din's biological father (and mother!!) was exactly what Canderous would praise against stupid Dantooine farmers whinging about not knowing what to do to protect and save their children, and Korben made a point for Din to remember them and their courage daily. Korben had a son and a foundling before Din, so he knew already what loss and pain could do to a child and how to handle it... even though after his son and foundling left the covert, he wasn't too eager to take another under his care. Until he saw that silent kid mesmerized by the controls of his ship... 😊

68. Are any of your characters intimidatingly beautiful?

Personally, I'd say Juliva and Litti (because Ana Torv and Gugu Mbatha-Raw are just gorgeous 😍). But none has been written to be seen or recognized as such. I'm not sure Isaac (Juliva's brother in arms and now husband) even noticed how pretty I think she is, and Ela just loved how nice and caring Litti was with her.

Elara wears goggles, Leona wears glasses after a long, tiring day and Vivian and Merry wear sunglasses anytime they need. No monocles but I feel like Anton could fit in here too, because of his stupid gunner helmet 😝

I... don't think so?! 😲 But I have a gnawing doubt now.

Vespera had a gap between her front teeth when she was a child. But not anymore.

Vivian started a revolution, somewhat. But if not her, then Ash. Not exactly a revolution though. More like raids?!?! It was against bandits and highwaymen so I'm not sure it can apply as "a revolution" though...

96. Which character is The Proudest ™ of their kids?

Crahl, for starters. All the kids he trained are his pride and joy. But Elara too! She's so proud of Jakem even though he's not her son, and now she's so proud of Tip-yip too!!! She doesn't understand SHIT about all that Jedi stuff but she doesn't care all too much either, so... What she sees is that he knows a lot of stuff, and understand even more!! And that's all she needs. 💖

100. Are any of your characters queer?

Well, Elara? Her most loving and lasting relationship was with a woman.

Astro and Nerio. The first is [REDACTED]'s dog and the second is Altair's.

Hmm. I think I have more characters doing the very opposite of that and preferring to go by completely different names like Zak using the name of his dead best friend, Ulrik being known under specific names by his snitches and other contacts, Vivian trying not to trigger Lawrence's script by using her college nickname/username in the park, Elara having a heap of nicknames and monikers given who's talking to her because she can't bear to hear people she barely know call her "Ela" like her parents, brother and Din did...

Well! Now that I think of it, Elara would be one of them! She'd rather be called "Elara" or even by her family name than to be called "Ela" by strangers!

Ash could count Walter (the grumpy asshole who taught her how to become a demonist) as an honorary father figure, I guess?! 🤣

Sadly, a few yes. Vivian and Ulrik were my only shell shocked characters, and Vespera has been added to the roster now... because of awful things she recently saw and had to run from during one of our game session! 😭

Elara! Litti is still a very good friend of her.

73. Has your character been to/ ever explored any ruins?

He did! Thanks to Kass mostly, who actually made him look at them differently and now, he kinda likes them better than just old crumbled stones with history he didn't know about.

82. Describe your character’s handwriting.

Very neat, but not always. In his notebook, when he can sit at a table and lay his thoughts properly, then he'll scratch that paper with nicely shaped and regular letters but, on the road or in a rush? He won't even make the effort to use a pen and he'll choose a pencil to switfly scribble some notes and sketch this or that… and even he will have some trouble rereading himself afterwards! 😅

95. If given total rule over a country, would your character step aside to turn it into a democracy?

I think he would, yes. Because he'd be lazy about it… He knows how to rule and be a leader for armies and people because of his family military background and heritage but he isn't too much into doing that himself.

110. What color is associated with your character?

A combination of brown, beige and green. Very earthy tones. I think even his family heraldry has green on it.

129. Has your character ever had to compromise on what they thought was right in order to maintain peace?

Not yet...? 👀😅

134. Has your character ever been alone in a hostile environment and been forced to travel a long way to reach a safety that wasn’t for sure?

Ahahahahahhhhhheeeelllppppp hhiiiimmmm....... Yes? He had to. It's a very long story (one of the bests I played, thank you 💕) in which he woke up in the middle of nowhere, badly badly hurt and alone— not his dog, nor even his friends were anywhere to be seen!! Not even his recollection of the night before!! And he add to walk his way back to a town he barely remembered, almost dying ten times in the process, working his memory ruthlessly to piece things together and save his missing friends!! It was intense.

135. Would  your character be content to go back to a normal and quiet life after going on an adventure?

He would, honestly. He's not regretting his decision to join that band of 'mercenaries' because he discovers too much about the world and everything is much more inspiring than he could have hoped for, but it's also very hard on him. But he realises that it's even harder on the people they meet and help along the way, so he hardly ever complains about a thing…

Maybe a little, yes. When it's about himself, I mean. He's far more lenient about other people's behavior and attitude in general.

Ooh, that's a great one!!! 👀 And it's even funnier because a lot of my OCs and other characters eat soups or some form of it at some point in all my stories.

Whomst of thy OCs art taller than thou? Smaller? Doth thou find some kind of pattern in thy new great knowledge of thyself?

Hi, "anon"! Thanks for asking this very tricky question.

I think most of my characters are taller than I am, like Zak, Ulrik, Juliva, Altair… Ela, Vivian and Vespera are just a few centimeters taller than me too, but Ash, Leo, Merry and I are the same size. Or very close to it.

But what it might says about me or what I might realise from that!? 🤔 I don't know for sure? That I like when people are taller than me, that I don't feel threatened by people taller than me... or that I would love to be taller and I live my dream vicariously through characters who see the world from up high?! 🤣

I really couldn't say because I'm not feeling that very salty about my own height. I'm not that tall but I'm fine with that. Actually, I even feel kinda bad when I have to look down on people because they are smaller. 😳 Not children though! It's normal for children to be smaller than anyone else so it's ok! But these little shitlings seems to love making me feel like a goofy giant by grabbing my legs and then stab my thighs with their chins to talk to me very fast about random things wherever I go!?!? (WHY?!?!)

So, yeah. Most of my characters are taller than me! 😁

My favorite line

None for the moment. I think he has yet to say it! To be honest, so far he had quite a few one liners or witty come backs that made us laugh while playing but nothing 'iconic' yet. Or, not that I would have considered iconic myself, at least.

My favorite moment

It's sadly a little gorey and that's certainly NOT why it's my favourite moment but, it would be when he found the body of the leader of their band. I had no idea what to expect at this point, when we were playing, and neither Altair or I had a single clue about what was going on... and the shock was real. 🥺

My favorite strength

He's very calm and has a great pressure and stress management. Well, greater maybe... His stress management skills weren't responding that well when someone tried to spear him in a corridor and that he bolted the guy dead with his crossbow. 😰

My favorite weakness

He's scared. I don't like the fact that he's scared, don't get me wrong! What I mean is, I like the fact that, even when he's scared out of his wits because he realised he stepped into something way more dangerous than he first thought it was going to be in all that "experience the world before writing it" thing, how dreadfully unprepared he was... he still manages to find the courage to go forward, to do the right thing for the people he cares about or he's responsible for now, for innocent people he promised to help.

Related to how scared he is and how much of a weakness it is, Altair is REALLY not a leader. He knows how to lead, he's been raised and taught into that skill by his family and their military history, but he hates it with a passion. But I think he'd probably have loved it or have no problem with it if that mantel of leadership hadn't been thrown on his shoulders with the additional weight of loss and grief.

My favorite personal headcanon

At this point in the campagne, I have no idea (even as his author/player) if it'll come to that, so it cross in the territory of headcanon, right?

I like to think that Lito will definitely publish a book that he'll manage to write and be happy about!! Maybe not 2 or 3 or 15 books, but at least one big book. And that this report (even though a little romanticized at times) on how left out some of the remote regions of the Empire are, even unintentionally so, is going to help change things for the better for them; the roads would be safer, people would be helped in protecting their towns, their traditions and craftmanship would be recognised, their unions heard by the Emperor and not just the bourgmesters and so on...

No, not really. Just plain soap is his favourite. And now, he spend too much time in the wild with horses, dogs and campfires to even think to bother with anything else anymore.

The scent he would prefer would be soap with milk and herbal tones, though.

I'm not even sure he has a hero outside of all the war veterans in his family so, I'd say no. And regretting it? Well… does having to hear the endless angry rants of highly intoxicated 'retired' general Molivar counts??

She has pretty rational fears in general but, an unusual one would be any scrapping sounds she can't locate. In space or on the ground.

42- Can they speak multiple languages? If yes which all do they speak and why?

Yes, she does! Quite a few, actually!

Basic: it's her mother tongue.

Huttese: it's almost her second mother tongue. Her parents started to teach her that one so young that she's as fluent as any Hutt or Twi'lek.

Jawaese: if it's not about trade, she'll be struggling a little more with this one.

Binary: she used to understand it very well as a child but she forgot almost everything about it by lack of practice. She still gets bits here and there according to the droid that speaks to her but it's rudimentary.

… and a touch of Mando'a because she heard enough of it during childhood to be able to pick up a few words and sentences, idioms and sayings that are all typically Mando even translated to Basic. And she has no idea that they are, most of the time.

She has just a little one. 👀

25- Do they have a daily/nightly routine?

In that aspect, and when she isn't running for her life under the cover of dubious military ops, she has a pretty comfortingly boring routine; wake up early, do her little things around a light breakfast, work (or enjoy life if it's a day off), get home, enjoy a hot shower or bath, cook something light, read or watch TV in couch or bed (which happen to be the same in her studio) and then fall asleep like that.

She used to!! And she tried many kind of characters but in the end, stuck to Mage in Fantasy contexts. (Magic is fun! Fireball!!!) But in other games she's been more adventurous and played quite a few one shot, huninged characters she had a ton of fun with.

But she also stuck to a player role. She's a shit GM.

35- Do they believe in fate or do they believe they are in charge of their own destiny?

As I said here, she'd have reasons to be greeting Fate (should she exists) with a baseball bat sometimes. But, honestly, she doesn't believe too much in all that. So, she's more of a 'in charge of your own destiny' kind of person actually. (But she's going to keep the baseball bat close to her hands, just in case…)

Oh yes, very much. Blaher poetry is especially good too, so it helps… and it's part of all the kids first experiences with reading in school so, it's also ingrained really young.

Currently, he's reading Bohrs and Nain poetry a little more in depths and he likes very much what he's discovering!

15- What kind of sense of humor do they have? Or do they have one at all?

A very light one. Kind of an opportunistic sense of humor. He used to prank people with his friends when he was a boy but now, he likes more tamed jokes and funsies.

But in general, he's ok with any kind of humor as long as it isn't cruel, actually.

Me? 🤡 But among my OCs, it would be Zak, somehow. He's kinda "lucky" in his bad luck because things could have been and still be so much worse but... thanks the dice, the crazy shit he's going through haven't been lethal............ YET.

Vespera is also of that stock, in her own way.

Altair, is kinda the 48549859th one in his family, if that counts. And Mereel, obviously... 👀

Jo and Josh, my demon hunter babies. And Guten and Borg, Ash's adoptive brothers. Jo has a complete disregard for his own life and do all kind of shits that makes his brother sweat through sleepless nights of bad vibes from his twin at the other side of the world, and Guten and Borg are the embodiment of their god's two faces; crazy and clever are more often than not going hand in hand.

37. Did any of your characters have a fever they almost died from as a child?

Well, Ash! She almost died from the wounds that left those scars on her face… The fever was an interesting experience during which she may have met her god (the same one as her brothers).

Vivian... 😔 She clearly loves her baby sister very much, but so do her parents. They care for her, but they don't like her being such an introvert compared to her beaming and oversharing sister, and they aren't exactly the most supportive in general. I'm not sure they did it on purpose and with ill intent but they pull up shit like "why don't you do *this/that* like your sister" or "Look at your sister, she *blahblahblahlbhalhba*..." And even if they didn't mean it in a bad way, but maybe more to make her less introvert while they were perfectly happy with a calm and manageable child when she was little help her, it did scar her and her relationship with her sister quite a bit.

But telling more about their sisterly bond in the future would spoil things from the chapters to come so... 🤐

Glasses: Leona! But only to rest her headaches a little. Sunglasses: Merry and Vivian, and quite a few others in my modern settings. Goggles: Elara, of course! Nobody wear monocles, thought.

Vivian! She was nesting in her flat in Boston, working remote most of the time for the company she joined barely out of uni and before being hired by Delos. And then, on site in the park.

Zak lived alone for quite some time too. And now that he found a little ball of fire, he wouldn't change that for the world.

Altair — 🙅‍♂️ what does my muse feel insecure about?

There are no actual base to this insecurity because he was loved and well treated at home and never pressured into anything but… his place in the family, and the family history. He comes from a long line of knights and famous names in the modern military, heroes some might say, and he feels like this heritage and all the skills he has been taught because of it are lost on him. So, he found a way to put all this military knowledge and skill he has been taught to good use while his real passion and ambition are to raise dogs in the family mansion and write books.

And speaking of which, a little more recently he's growing a little insecure about his writing style and how to actually write his stories, and staying faithful to his source material/inspiration.

Ashgari — 👾what was my muse’s childhood bogeyman?

The Snow Man and it's brother the Stone Man, spooky stories the children of Haglkornn tell each others around the fire. One is made of snow and swallow careless people walking out of the beaten path, and you should never yell in the moutain, or else you'll wake him up, and he'll kill you dead!! And his brother let you believe the path is strong, and then you step on him and he just slip under your feet, or crumbles on your head.

For long, she thought that they both killed her parents on the road to Kenor. But then she understood they were just cautionary tales to teach children to be careful of avalanches and that mountain path weren't there for ornament, and that you had to protect your head from falling stones and be careful where you put your feet too. But even though she knows all that now, she keeps telling these stories like they're real 'urban' legends to all the kids who gather in her hall, and she terrifies them with it. But those idiots love it.

Quite easily, everything that demonists are trained to fight. Demons and other extraplanar entities, along with what they leave in their wake… and that she and her brother of the Clan have to deal with.

Well, he has gray hair but, that's standard to his ethnicity, so this doesn't count. According to himself, it would be that he's too tall (he wouldn't have been against being a little shorter), he has scars he'd rather not have because it's all very sad memories for some and traumatically scary ones/close calls for others, and third isn't an imperfection but more like something boring to him; he has orangey/light hazel eyes, which is the more common eye colour Blahers can have and he would have loved something a little more out of the ordinary… But that was when he was a young boy! Now that he's a tall, stupid blacksmith, he's fine with how he looks like. Even fine with his oldest scars.

Well, at this point in time, he's the one hoping to write and tell his own stories. But, should the one about his life been told, he'd rather have it being the truth.

80. Was your character ever considered shy?

Yes, tremendously. He's still a little shy as of now, but not as much as the little boy he was. However, when he warmed up to someone, he could even be a little cheeky.

82. Describe your character’s handwriting.

Clean and neat, like in old registers... you could even say well "trained" by years of studying and writing in university. But it tends to be a little messier in his notebook since he's on the roads.

135. Would your character be content to go back to a normal and quiet life after going on an adventure?

Oooh, more than happy. He went on an adventure to find inspiration and see the world, but in the end, the goal always was to get back home and write about all this in the safe comfort of his big manor family home.

140. Can your character play an instruments?

He can... but just enough for people not to want to hit him repeatedly with whatever instrument he got his hands on.

For quite some time and still a little bit now, he hates being asked where he comes from and to talk about his family and childhood. He was a happy child with a loving family, that's not the problem — the problem is that he made quite a few mistakes on his own and thought that the best way to deal with them was to run away without telling no one. And he doesn't like to talk about that. And also, questions like "are your hairs gray everywhere?" 😑

Honestly, Altair manages his stress rather well… until everything goes to shit. Then, he shoots a crossbow bolt at a guy in a staircase because this a**hole kept talking in riddles instead of answering him straight while he had an open wound on his head to deal with! But now that all this terrible adventure his a few years behind him and his friends, he's back to his more collected self.

Well, she was homeschooled so, she didn't quite have the same subjects than other kids in actual school in the Imperial City or elswhere in bigger towns and cities but, it would be sewing. But now, far from home and on the roads with the Brotherhood? She can sew literally anything and anyone to save their lives!

A very ugly scar across her belly and hip. It's perfectly healed but the memory is still raw and painful. I mean, it almost killed her and actually killed some of her brothers in arms.

With extreme caution, Altair opened his eyes, blinked a little, faced with the raw light of the sky which send another wave of agony through his nerves and muscles. A groan died on his chapped lips and he froze still, eyes half shut, at least long enough to put himself together. But, even breathing was too much. Still, he found the strength — the need — to make another move; anticipating the pang with all the courage he thought he still had, Altair lifted his head up a little. His body ached and writhed but Altair hang on, dismissing as best he could the increasingly painful pulsing between his ears. Then, he opened his eyes and his blurry sight landed on a brownish, glistening shape, perched on his chest — a toad.
