This is Todd Patterson! (Wait... Isn't he a sentient pocket dimension that inhabits the inside of a top hat sitting on Alex's head?) (me, pretending you knew this information already.) Well, this is his representation of himself. His sona, avatar, whatever you wanna call it. He has full control over the pocket dimension, since he is the pocket dimension, so he has the ability to manifest this... Little guy. He uses this to interact with anyone who comes into the pocket dimension. (Otherwise, you'd just hear his voice coming from the sky, which isn't nearly as inviting.)

Alexander & Todd Patterson, Rob Fletcher, and Sal Lester are who I'd call the main characters. They all live in a house together in the town of Westerfield.

i'll, uh... i'll try to be brief here

Alex is a magical being who bears his initials on his torso. He spends most of his time practicing wizardry, talking to/making friends, and baking cakes.

Todd is a sentient hat sitting atop Alex's head, made out of the same magic that Alex was made out of. The two are brothers, and they've been together since creation. Inside, Todd houses an infinite pocket dimension that he has the ability to control. Effectively, he is that pocket dimension, and his hat body is just how he affects the world outside of it.

Rob is a red stick figure guy who's best friends with Alex. He typically gets roped into the weird shenanigans that Alex gets into, whether he likes it or not. Usually not. Alex usually feels guilty about it.

Sal is both Rob's friend, and Alex's boyfriend. In contrast to Alex, he's very introverted and shy, and in contrast to Rob, he hates any sort of confrontation. He also happens to be a gray shapeshifter.

Rob is almost completely drawn in 2D, but I have his cap modelled out for reference.
