I just realized I never actually showed what happened before Sun was given to Eclipse in this post, so like here :D

Since Im not sure if I explained it well:

—All the animatronics in the plex were active 2 hours before their working hours so they had time to prepare for the day, but then Sun (after he woke up drowning in the ballpit and emerging as a baby) was found by Montessa just 30 minutes before they opened.

—Moonlight and Sunshine were doing their best to calm Sun down as Montessa went to find Ruin, but the EAPS twins had no luck in getting Sun to cool down as Sun, due to his new instincts as a child, was looking and sobbing for Moon and would not take Moonlight as Moon.

•Ruin could barely grasp onto the fact Sun is here—as a child nontheless.

—Due to the fact Eclipse was on break that day, Ruin transferred Sun to him for a bit so he could help the twins around the Daycare.

•As seen in the comic, Eclipse was far from amused at the thought of taking care of Sun since he already had many children to care for at the moment, but he agreed nontheless since he cares he'll be six feet under if Sun were to ever return to their dimension with a bruise or gone.

•Andrew finds a sleeping Sun in a room near where Eclipse was at, and questions his father on what happened and who this was, and Eclipse just tries to explain as best as he could. Andrew brought Charlie over to help him entertain Sun since Andrew had zero clue on how he should do it.

—As much as 2 hours have passed and their working hours are over, Sun is still with Eclipse since Sun refuses to be with anyone else; Sun only recognizes Eclipse, and hes not just gonna separate from him that easily (Eclipse has no clue if thats a good or bad thing).

I mean, just imagine: you wake up and your twin is still there, but then hours before you open the Daycare, hes suddenly gone and you cant find a single trace of him.

Naturally, of course, you panic, and Moon did just that.

Not because nobody would be there to care for the kids in the Daycare (that isnt even Moon's priority at the moment), but because Sun just disappeared without a dam clue on where he even went—like seriously, Moon leaves for 5 minutes to assist Solar in something, and they return and Sun is nowhere.

Anyway, Moon is not doing well with that information and Solar is making sure Moon doesnt just overheat from all the stress and worry this brought him.

(part of the reason rye buys NONE of illario's bullshit at all right from the beginning is that he's basically vaccinated against this exact type of dude after that relationship lol. charming suave guy who in the beginning pays you a lot of lavish attention and takes pains to make you feel special every time you're in a room with him -- but shallowly and mostly, it slowly dawns on you, when there's something he wants from you (and he's often doing it at the expense of someone else, raising you up to put someone else down and you won't believe this... it can turn into a seesaw at a whim. yay). and beneath that there's just a seething pit of resentment and inferiority complexes and bitterness left to fester until he can make it everyone else's problem and that IS going to start to bubble up between the cracks with you too if you stick around for long enough. no thank you been there done that wasted my youth and potential on it and all I got was this lousy shiny set of new emotional intimacy issues haunting me for life! trust me illario I HAVE, as it were, chosen the wrong dellamorte before, which is exactly how I know I didn't this time. go get him lucanis I've got your coffee

And Then they Find The Mystery Shack

so they ask about weirdmageddon and Soos initially would probably deny it but when this strange creature seemed almost...happy? about weirdmageddon?? he would maybe perhaps (possibly accidentally) end up giving out more info. so the Creacher buys something at the shack and leaves like a $50 tip as thanks

eventually through a series of events that get wackier as time progresses, they find out the following information: - weirdmageddon was caused by a triangle demon known as Bill Cipher - how to interdimensional travel - stuff about time crimes. but don't worry about it - the existence of the theraprism and the fact that. what was it again. dead evil immortals go there for rehabilitation or whatever. anyway - Euclydia and what happened to it. somehow (this AU would use the headcanon that Bill destroyed the dimension by physically changing its axis) oh yeah and they would also either guess or find out somehow (this AU also uses the headcanon(?) that:) the destruction of Euclydia was an accident.

and with this information they get a brilliant (read: completely idiotic but kinda sweet tbh) plan:

step 1. commit some time crimes. step 2. get arrested and invoke Globnar - step 2.5. win Globnar (I think this AU would complicate the lazer tag event, where getting hit would like freeze you in time for a moment giving the opponent time to get closer to the goal. or something) step 3. use the time wish to transport themself in space and time to the sort of. "out space" of Euclydia, before it was destroyed step 4. stop Bill from changing the axis of the dimension and explain "I'm from the future, doing that will destroy the world!" step 5. Good Ending! :D [this music plays]

and. and of course they succeed. obviously. that was the whole point of this.

You know, I've never been a fanfic person, and so far I've pretty much only read short one shots, I think I've read only one fic with many chapters and a bigger plot? But a few days ago I read a few Road 96 fics I bookmarked in the last few weeks, and turns out!! Two of them are unfinished. One lacks only the final chapter, and that one wasn't as interesting to me so I don't feel bad for not being able to finish it, but the other I got super invested in before I noticed it has only three chapters out of who knows how many. I understand now the hell of finding the perfect fic and having to wait for more. Ough

I know it's unfair vilification and stuff but it's also a lot of fun to see old media and stuff where people were SO scared of big animals like lions, sharks, crocodiles and wolves were fully expected to just come and eat you the moment you stepped into their territory. In older media we also made that assumption about gorillas and in still older we thought it'd be whales. But some animals that will actually fuck you up got left behind. Boars will kill you and eat you. They're way more likely to do so than any of those other things actually. Hippos, obviously, got off like bandits always being depicted as cute and dopey. And then there's the squids. Not giant kraken size squids. The eight foot squids that hunt in packs and will fuck you up if you fall in the water at night. I can't BELIEVE people slept on that. It's like all they cared about were the huge deep sea ones we never see. The medium size wolf pack squids were right there.

So, I know I'm a little (very) late to the AvA stuff, but I was rewatching AvM Season 3 for the seven hundredth time and, well, I noticed something and I'm curious to know if it's been discussed before.

AvM Episode 29, Purple's story, specifically, Pink's death.

Her color changes as she dies, or is represented to have died.

It fades to grey.

Now, the question is, can we, or rather should we, use this to infer anything lore-related? Was this just an artistic choice to depict the act of becoming unhealthy/dying, or could this be what actually happens to stick figures that die over a period of time? Are their colors linked to their health?

Let's have a bit of fun with it, and presume that the fading of one's color can happen to a stick figure for health-related reasons, as the scene could imply.

This fading seems to involve loosing the saturation of one's color into grey. Saturation is how vibrant a color is, and the complete lack of saturation is greyscale.

The World-of-Alan reason for Pink's death is that she 'got sick', which is where the health connection of this theory comes from. If she did loose her color as she was dying as the notes depict, that loss of color was likely a result of her failing health rather than any other factors, like age or outside variables. A whole bunch of human body stuff are indicators for good vs poor health, including skin color (jaundice and cyanasis are good examples) so why not a stick's color for them?

What if, when they fully die, they lose all of their original color?

Now, let me propose this…

Who else do we know of who has had their color loose vibrancy?

What if Victim's color has lightened because he's ill?
