An extraordinary city on the Baltic Sea (2)
The former Hanseatic city was the largest seaport on the Baltic Sea in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Monumental Gothic temples dominate the historic buildings, including the largest brick church in the world; St. Mary's Church. Next, I will present the most important monuments and interesting facts about the city of Gdańsk.

The Seaport
Mystic Seaport Museum Two weeks ago, I traveled to Mystic, CT to visit the Mystic Seaport Museum. This was my second visit to the largest maritime museum in the United States which is also home to the last wooden whaleship—the Charles W. Morgan.  As Old Sturbridge Village accomplishes so well with its recreation of life in New England in the early 1800s, the Mystic Seaport Museum recreates a…

The amount of happiness a person is given in their lifetime is decided, and it is split equally for everyone.
Such was written in a book somewhere.
Just as there was no abundance of good things, neither was there an abundance of bad. Everything was made to be equal.
——If that was the case, then just what did this bloody wretched life of mine ever amount to?
Since I was born, I had never gotten a taste of that feeling called ‘happiness.’
My father was an immigrant from Ireland, who worked at the seaport.
The place was filled with violent people, making both public order and the working environment in poor condition, but not working would be the same as death.
And what was tragic about the job was the fact that you could be laid off at any point.
Jude’s father: Blast it all! I went outta my way to show up n’ they went and kicked me out!
Jude’s older brother: Was a fool’s errand from the start!
In the cramped house, the scent of liquor and tobacco pervaded the room,
and perhaps because of continuous exposure to that, my younger sister and I had weak lungs, and were often prone to asthma attacks.
Jude’s younger sister: *cough* *cough*...
Jude: Quit it already.
Jude’s father: ...Hah?
Jude: If ya continue smokin’ that stuff, ain’t no way we’re gettin’ any better.
J: If you’re gonna smoke go n’ do it outsi——gh!
All of a sudden, he hit my cheeks, and the moment I collapsed on the floor, he grabbed my hair.
Jude’s father: I dare ya to try sayin’ that again.
Jude: Hah, did ya drink so much booze your ears gone bad? I’ll say it however much I gotta.
J: I’m sayin’ ya don’t even got a penny in your pocket and yet ya go off smokin’ that stuff——guah!
This time, he hit my other cheek without holding back.
Jude’s father: Jude. How old are ya?
Jude: ...Five.
Jude’s father: Which is the age ya can go n’ work a job. And yet here ya are not doin’ that ‘cause you’re coughin’ a lung up.
Jude’s father: Who do ya think ya are, complainin’ when you’re a useless piece o’ trash, huh!?
Grasping at my hair, he tried to drag me around, when——
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jude’s mother: Stop this at once...!
Jude: Mum...
Jude’s mother: I’ll give him a talk and make him listen. Okay?
Mother took some money, and the two left the house for a drink.
(That cash... went and sold off clothes again, innit.)
She was a woman who could use perfect Queen’s English, and she was originally a well-to-do lady, or so I heard.
But, she pulled the short end of the stick, getting together with a good-for-nothing.
She sold the little jewels and clothes she had brought until she had nothing left to her name, and her health deteriorated.
—— Time skip (I think) ——
Jude’s mother: Jude, come here a bit.
Mother took me out to the garden, and there she took a stick and started writing something on the ground.
Jude: Mum, what’s this?
Jude’s mother: These are letters. They represent the words we speak... let’s see... it’s much like a ‘sign,’ I’d say.
Jude’s mother: See, this is how you write your name. J, U, D, E.
I copied Mother’s letters, writing them on the ground.
Jude: Wow, I could really get behind this. Hey, how do ya write Jazza——
Just then, Mother pulled me into an embrace.
Jude: Mum...?
Jude’s mother: In the times to come, even when your body is weak, and your money scarce, as long as you have wisdom, you can live on with that.
Jude’s mother: Jude, you are intelligent. I am sure knowledge will be your guardian.
Jude: Hey, mum, if ya hug me so tight it’s gonna hurt.
Jude’s mother: Hehe, you’re a big brother, aren’t you? You can handle this much at least.
Not too long after, Mother’s body grew weak, and she passed away.
The only thing left behind was the cold bed which she no longer occupied.
(She probably knew things would turn out this way.)
Running my hand along the cold surface of the bed, I recalled the final conversation we shared.
—— Flashback ——
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jude’s mother: Jude... I’m sorry.
Jude: What’re ya apologizin’ for? There’s a mountain of people other than ya who gotta apologize.
Father and my older brother drowned in alcohol, and even on death’s door, they didn’t bother even showing their faces.
Jude’s mother: ...I’m sorry, I’m sorry...
Jude: ...N’ like I said, don’t apologize.
Jude’s mother: ...Please...take care of your sister...Jude.
—— End flashback ——
That became the final conversation.
And, after that, my life stumbled even more down to the pits of hell.
to be continued…

Hey all, as you may know, the Lady Washington is near and dear to my heart. She turns 35 this year, which is pretty old for a modern wooden brig like herself. She's sailed well every year, but before she can continue doing so, she needs some major work done.
There is a refit project that will begin this October and which will extend many years in multiple phases. Critical things like above the waterline hull planking, both masts, and a number of engineering/electrical systems need replacing before she can sail again in 2025, and it's not yet fully funded.
I know there's so, so much going on in the world right now, and many people that need money more than we do. But on the off chance you have a few extra dollars, we'd really appreciate the donation. This ship is my home, and there are many folks that feel the same; we'd hate to have to delay the 2025 sailing season more than it already would be, or even cancel it. Even if you don't have the money yourself, please share this around with anyone you know who might be interested!
Thank you so much! Fair winds and following seas, friends!

The Vatican: Human Trafficking Hub
The Vatican Underground- Cleared
The Dulce Base- Underground Cleared
The Area 51 Underground Base- Cleared
Orion Group ❌ (Defeated)
Ciakharr Group ❌ (Defeated)
Killy Tokurt Group ❌ (Defeated)
These are the three main factions responsible for the
The CIA is connected to the Killy Tokurt Ops. They are the one who specialize in soul scalping. This is how our government leaders were replaced. Removing the light body & soul and replacing it with a physical vessel void of any connection to source.
Sherry Shriner covered this in many videos/audios. Megan Rose spoke about this in one of her books. Corey Goode is also another source who spoke on the caste system of the Ciakharr who are the top elite in their race.
Remember when I mentioned that people were not ready once they found out who have been eating the children? Guess what was the capitol for the "Child Sex Trafficking" breeding hub?
The Vatican.
Do you remember the story or report that came out in July of 2019 where thousands of bones was unearthed in two ossuaries discovered in the Vatican City, as part of an ongoing search for clues into the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl more than three decades ago in 1983?
Do you remember the mass grave full of baby bones found along the shores of Israel's Mediterranean coast, in the ancient seaport of Ashkelon in 2014?
Do you remember An Indigenous group said the remains of as many as 751 people, mainly children, had been found in unmarked graves on the site of a former boarding school in Saskatchewan?
As a matter of fact that was a 2,300 page document that leaked that verified Pope Francis’ cover up of a Vatican Pedophile Ring. Did you know 20 Chilean Priests who went public on their connection to that very same Pedophile Ring, were killed in a plane crash right after their meeting with Pope Francis?
Back on July 20 2014 the International Common Law Court of Justice in Brussels found defendants Pope Francis Bergoglio, Catholic Jesuit Superior General Adolfo Pachon and Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby guilty of rape, torture, murder and the trafficking of children. (Nothing Is Happening?)
I highly doubt it.
Two adolescent women told the ICLCJ Court that Pope Francis raped them while participating in child sacrifices during the Springs of 2009 and 2010 in rural Holland and Belgium. According to a former employee of the Curia in Rome, rapes and murders of children also took place at the Carnarvon Castle in Wales and an undisclosed French Chateau.
A Prosecutor introduced notarized affidavits by eight others claiming to witness these same crimes organized by the Vatican. Another witness testified that they were present during meetings with the then Argentine priest and Bishop Francis and the military Junta during Argentine’s 1970′s Dirty War.
According to the witness, Francis helped traffic 30,000 children of missing political prisoners into the Vatican Pedophile Ring.
Do you know why this has taken so long? If you knew how vast these underground tunnels are you would understand why certain EOs signed by D. Trump kept getting extensions.
The Military at some point will disclose the battles that went underground.
The weapons used.
The strategies used.
The entries/exits used.
The medical technology used.
The portals/gateways that were used.
You got a glimpse of this during the fight that went on underground with the Phil Schneider lectures that still can be found on YouTube about the Dulce extraterrestrial confrontation that resulted in lives being lost and him being scarred from it.
People are only looking at the human aspect of this process. They are not looking at this as governments officials serving a unknown species that want world dominion who is an entire different secret government whose base are in these DUMBS-(Deep Underground Military Bases) who control all of our 3 letter agencies who are middlemen/conduits who these covert species use to control Washington. 🤔

i was looking around at tribe (and civ) planets and found some curiosities
note that i didnt do anything to cause these. i didnt use any tool to wipe out any species, or civilizations, nor did i use a monolith
-
on this save file, the planet with the ruined cities has tribes on it
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i never see a planet naturally just acquire a tribe (without monoliths) so i really dont know what happened here. however i found an old screenshot and it indeed DID NOT have any tribes!! im not sure when they showed up here
Tumblr media
-
another planet (t1 with no animals, aside from the tribe members; at least they were omnivores so theyd live) has a lot of leftover city decals, with tribes scattered around it and sometimes theyre ON the city decals
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
again no idea how this happened. i dont interfere with any tribe or civ planets on any of my save files, so im not sure how this just reverted on its own seemingly
its kind of cool seeing two planets with tribes surrounding long abandoned remains of prolific civilizations. how did this happen?
-
i did see just one other tribe with leftover city decals. its worth noting that both were basically right next to my home planet, so id guess this is related. though other nearby tribe planets didnt have this going on with them
this one even has a spice crate!!!!
Tumblr media
a lot of the city decals are placed on odd terrain though, this one is partly submerged
Tumblr media
if THAT wasnt enough it also has numerous leftover tribe decals. far more of them than the city decals, no less (which makes sense to be fair. theres always more tribes on a planet than cities)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
both types of empty decals next to each other, with an additional spice crate
Tumblr media
theres at least three spice crates here. im not picking any of them up though. just to preserve them (and also because its red spice thats WORTHLESS)
Tumblr media
i think this is all the cities i could find here, marked with yellow dots
Tumblr media
these decals even show up on the planet model in the sporepedia, same for the previous planet
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you know something particularly noteworthy? those are all space decals ...
Tumblr media
-
also found a civ planet with leftover city decals, from civ this time. the city decal on the first image here goes much further north than the living cities do, and it clearly had a seaport too!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
theres considerable overlap too
Tumblr media
also found one with a totally useless seaport
Tumblr media
i really do wonder why the entire northern half of the planet is completely devoid of cities. theres plenty of space
Tumblr media
different planets but these cities love having useless seaports
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-
found SEVERAL t1 planets with plants (sometimes only one plant even) but no animals, with the tribe members being carnivores!
Tumblr media
where did the meat come from. where did the egg come from. where are they getting this. and all the leather for that matter
Tumblr media
every single tribe i looked at has just had a pile of meat and one (1) egg at the food place. every single one also had fishing spear huts but no fish! the only thing you can do is fish (thankfully this planet is full of water) but nobody is fishing!!!
Tumblr media
so many tribes and i dont know how any of them even live
Tumblr media
-
seems like a fairly normal planet (t1, with just one type of animal). i was far away so i couldnt tell what was happening but it looked like theyre literally exploding the other animals dead
Tumblr media
at first i thought it was the actual tribe members spontaneously exploding, because theyre all blue here and it was too far away to tell what was going on. but i looked closely and i figured out the tribe members are just striking and charging the other animals. the effect gets exaggarated because im zoomed out. also you can see the tribe members use sneak!
-
i also saw yellow radar waves on my home planet. it was just a sky pinkinator but wow thats rare
Tumblr media
incidentally THAT has leftover tribe decals, but theyre just from me keeping some tribes alive up until the end of civ stage. they dont remain in space stage unfortunately

They’ve built a “Great Wheel” on the Seattle waterfront [...].
The small timber village became a military outpost in the Puget Sound War [...], [and] soon evolved into a trade gateway, with timber tailings and other industrial trash from Henry Yesler’s mill used to fill in the marshlands [...], atop which migrant laborers raised tents and shanties [...] now working to feed raw materials into the furnaces of the Second Industrial Revolution burning in the East. [...] The first nationwide strike ripped across the country’s railways in 1877 [...]. Meanwhile, young financial conglomerates rose after the city-devastating fire of 1889, linked openly to local government [...] in the kind of symbiotic public-private relationship that would become a hallmark of the Gilded Age. [...] [L]ocal elites rebuilt [...] downtown [...] from scratch, hosting the tallest building on the West Coast alongside other new constructs [fueled] with money gleaned from the supply chains linking eastern capital to Alaskan gold. [...]
Over the next century, Seattle would see new sequences of boom, bust, and reinvention. Military investment in the region during the First World War secured the city’s ship-building industry and expanded Boeing from a small lakeside hangar into a massive war contractor. [...] Across Washington state, capital had first poured into the “Third Industrial Revolution,” founded on electricity, chemicals, and massive hydropower projects [in the 1930s] [...], then into the “Fourth” wave of petrochemicals, nuclear, and, in the case of Seattle especially, aircraft and missile technology. Each was followed by periods of dramatic decline [...] paired with rapid financialization and, finally, re-orientation around the new industrial cluster [...]. Today the city - again rebuilt [...] - is seen as one of the primary beneficiaries of the “Fifth” Industrial Revolution in information technology, outshone only by California’s Silicon Valley. [...] The digital was increasingly thought of as somehow "immaterial," sustained by intellectual labor more than physical toil [...].
Silicon Valley myths of [...] "immaterial" labor disguise a more gruesome dynamic in which growing segments of the global labor force are being deprived even of the basic brutality of the wage, instead forced out into growing rings of slums, prisons, and global wastelands. [...]
---
Perched alongside a downtown business corridor [...], Seattle's Great Wheel seems to peer out over [...] [the] prophesied “cooperative commons,” an infotech metropolis abutting the beauty of an evergreen arcadia. But travel below Seattle’s cluster of infotech industries and the image appears much the same as that of a hundred years prior - a trade gateway, squeezing value from supply chains by selling transport and logistical support. The southern stretch of the metropolis bears little resemblance to the revitalized urban core of the city proper. Instead of the “cognitive labor” of Microsoft, it is defined instead by the cold calculation of companies like UPS, founded in Seattle when the city was one link in a colonial supply chain built first for timber, then Alaskan gold, then World War. [...]
In south Seattle, this logistics empire takes the form of faceless warehouses, food processing facilities, container trucks, rail yards, and industrial parks concentrated between two seaports, an international airport, three major interstates, and railroads traveling in all directions. Meanwhile, the poor have been priced out of the old inner city, moving southward [...]. [T]hey can be found staffing the airport and the rail yards, hauling cargo in and out of two the major seaports, loading boxes in warehouses [...]. And, beyond them, the shadow stretches out to Washington’s rural hinterlands where migrant laborers staff a new boom in agriculture and raw materials [...] - and further still into America’s long-depressed interior, where the Great Wheel meets its opposite: Memphis, the FedEx logistics city, watched over by a great black pyramid [the infamous Bass Pro Shop pyramid]. [...]
Every Seattle is capable of creating an eco-friendly, “cooperative commonwealth” tended by apps and algorithms only insofar as there is a Memphis that can provide human workers to sort the packages, a Shanghai to build the containers that carry them, and a Shenzhen to solder together the circuits of the machines that govern it all.

10 miles from boston harbor: a Kfak Crank drabble for @reallylilyreally
The thing about Boston is that even when one was miles away from the Seaport, if the wind was right and the weather kind, sometimes it was possible to smell the ocean on the breeze.
They never could in Thorpe, except maybe when the fog rolled in, but sometimes Crank had sworn he was able to, his nose seeking out any hint of salt and brine like a bloodhound. Maybe it was some innate sense built from summers crabbing on ocean causeways and working on his uncles Lobster Boat once he was old enough to swim and handle a knife. Landlocked in Germany, there’d been no salt or seaweed aroma and sometimes Crank was sure he withered for it.
He’s ten miles from Boston Harbor.
Windows thrown open because his mother always insisted on cleaning with the windows open and now he’d been trained into the habit as well and he’s breathing in the salty smell like it’s the only thing keeping him on this continent.
And he’s breathing because somewhere in his cleaning of this apartment he’d barely begun to make his own he’d taken his watch off to avoid damaging it. And he’s forgotten where that spot happened to be. And so he does not know what time it is and his gut is telling him it’s getting close to ten o’clock which is an awful thing for his body to have been trained to remember but he doesn’t know when ten o’clock will be and now he isn’t sure how he’s going to save Johnny Brady’s life for another day.
He’s supposed to feed Johnny numbers like they’re food and shrug at Benny helplessly when the other man shoots him a silent question.
He’s fine today. He’s just coping same as anyone else. Badly and with horrible desperation.
There’s a faint tanline, nothing impressive because Crank hadn’t met a color that could stick to his skin other than pale, but there nonetheless with damning clarity.
He’s ten miles from Boston Harbor and he doesn't know where his watch is and he needs to be able to tell John Brady what time it is because for some reason that had become his job and he doesn’t resent it really but he’s ten miles from Boston Harbor and it wouldn’t feel like it if it were not for the salt and brine.
In some ways it had been reassuring. It was routine, it meant things weren’t happening elsewhere in the compound. Crank couldn’t sleep so he watched Johnny not sleep, watched him lose his breakfast to nerves day and ask him for the time and go off to pray for all them sinners with clenched-jaw determination as if there was some way he could still win the war while on his knees.
Or save them all, at the very least.
Maybe it worked, Crank wouldn’t put it past Johnny to drag out a miracle with his teeth and thin-faced fury.
But he needs to find his watch.
He’s ten miles from the Boston Harbor and John Brady is even farther, and he probably has someone else telling him the time instead of Charles Crank.

There are significant problems with simple minds coming up with ego-driven simple solutions which require complex solutions for complex problems
IMPORTING
At least 30 days to get the first deliveries into supply pipeline and unto docks in the USA.
The foregoing estimate assumes
Products have been manufactured and are sitting in a warehouse near the docks
Crews for ships are available
Food, fuel, etc are available and can be loaded
Exit and entry paperwork can be expedited
Anything requiring longer term ordering and manufacturing will be scrutinized by businesses since Trump’s impulsiveness and thin skin may set him off. So..do you order or not?
Once you consider ordering you’ll be discussing with the Chinese seller what kind of lead times will be required to obtain materials, re-tool production lines, transport to a seaport, and load into a ship, sail 25 days to a US port. All within 90 days staring immediately.
(If you’re ordering from NYC your day is China’s night so one of you will be discussing complexity, racing against a timeline, while exhausted
EXPORTING
In addition to raising tariffs, China sought and found new suppliers. They cancelled a myriad of US purchases.
They would be as simple minded as Trump if they were to cancel their new contracts and reinstate billions of dollars on beef, soy, crude oil, coal, etc. from the US.
TRUMP FACTOR
Why would any Business person - or Diplomat - in the US or abroad believe that Trump will adhere to anything he pledges?
The whole world watched unilaterally repudiating the 20 year old NAFTA in his first administration and replacing it with his ‘beautiful’ USMCA. Then in 2025 he unilaterally repudiates the USMCA.
The only analysis of his disparate plea for China to negotiate the tariffs is that Trump bluffed then blinked.
Accomplishing absolute g nothing except bankrupting ten thousand US businesses.
The cancelled contracts INCREASING our Trade Deficit.
That kind of acrimony - particularly if it’s from his base - is likely to lead to him repudiating the China deal.
I can see it now: Blaming Bessent for Trump’s immature simplistic tariff catastrophe.
