On the topic of Olena's fashion, her stylist recently gave an interview to Elle ua. She explains the process of choosing the clothes and the symbolism that they have. (At the end there's a cute story about a meeting she had with Olena which Ze also joined).

This month, Olena Vladymyrets, a Holodomor witness from the Vinnytsia region, celebrated her 95th birthday. Ms Olena was born on November 4,1929. She is the only one of 3 daughters of Oleksandr and Marta Tsvylyk who survived the Holodomor. Photo from Nina Vladymyrets' Fb page. "We lived in Tomashpil village in the Khmilnytskyi district, Vinnytsia region. There were 3 of us: the eldest, Larysa, born in 1927; me, in 1929; the youngest, Mariyka, in 1932. Both of my sisters didn’t survive. Mariyka was only 5 months old," she told our museum staff in an interview. During the Holodomor, she was very young, but she heard from her parents that before collectivization, people lived decently. "Those who worked, they lived..." But then, all their bread was taken away. "You know, as they used to say: 'Lenin told Stalin to take away the 'surpluses' but Stalin thought: take everything to the last crumb!' And so they did. My mother managed to earn a small amount of grain and put it in a pot to cook. She placed the pot in the oven, covering it with cauldron of water as if she were only heating the water. Activists broke in, poured out the water, removed the small pot of grain, and dumped it into their bag. Neither tears nor pleas helped. They took everything from everyone, and that is how the famine began." In 1946-1947, Olena Oleksandrivna experienced yet another man-made famine. "Mother and five of us, children, (four were born after the Holodomor) were already without a father (he died in the war). In the winter of 1947, Mother travelled to Western Ukraine seven times to trade some household goods for food." Ms Olena recalls. "She took all the essential items we had at home, including linens, towels, and various other things. It was a hard journey; they travelled in boxcars, got caught, and were forced off. And I, at 16, stayed home alone with the children. When Mum returned from the West, she brought a bit of grain. We kept a little for ourselves, then took the rest to the market in Bykiv, 8–10 km away. There, Mum sold the grain and bought clothes—jackets, skirts, dresses, scarves to go back to the West, as we had already sold out everything we had. I looked at those clothes and wanted a dress or a skirt so badly; after all, I was a girl! But what could I say to my mother? There were still younger children at home who were asking for food…" Today, Ms Olena, along with all of Ukraine, is going through another hardship—the war unleashed by Russia. Despite her age, she helps her daughter Nina make trench candles for Ukrainian soldiers. In addition, throughout the summer, the women made homemade treats for the soldiers they grew themselves: pastila, adjika, pickled cucumbers, tomatoes, fruits, vegetables, and berries! Although our birthday celebrant needs a walker to move, she actively contributes to volunteer work. She rolls cardboard for candles, peels fruits and vegetables, and assists her daughter as much as she can. Her daughter has also sent five drones to the front lines and provided medications, tourniquets and other essential items requested by the soldiers. We wish Ms Olena health,a long life, and a speedy Victory, which she dreams of more than anything else! May her dream come true! —Holodomor Museum

I'm sincerely sorry for the angst 😅.
Here's another oc, the tragic Horoe.
Horoe was born to a young Slovenian woman, who died during childbirth due to exhaustion and internal bleeding. The young woman's name was Ivana, and she was far too young to be pregnant, barely out of her teens, and had a hopeful future at just 19.
However, Mitsumasa Kido impregnated her, wanting to create a powerful warrior to defend Athena, and emotionally manipulated her by threatening to use the power of the Graad Foundation on her family.
When she died, Horoe was taken to the Graad Foundation a few days after arriving on Earth, and would never receive love from a family member again.
Growing up, he interacted little with the other orphans, except for Hyoga, but he had nothing against them, and the others always tried to include him, Seiya in particular. He was Tatsumi and Saori's favorite punching bag, given his physical weakness, and the efforts of Ikki and Hinata, as well as other boys, to protect him, were in vain. Only Olena, Hope, or Victoria managed to be scary enough to defend him.
When Horoe searched for his training location, he came across a place known to be among the worst, a remnant of the continent of Mu where the telekinetic pressure present there drove all intruders to suicide. Completely terrified, the little boy, then six years old, tried to escape, but Mitsumasa unleashed the Graad Foundation's dogs trained to kill, and Horoe was bitten to death.
Olena was absolutely furious, and became so angry that she nearly made the old Japanese man's heart break, while a devastated Hope prevented the children from seeing the corpse, and Victoria prevented Saori from helping her grandfather.
Horoe was manipulated by Hades in the world of the dead, and became the terrible specter of the rousalki of the drowned star of regret.
He spent his time sabotaging the Saints' plans during the Asgard and Poseidon arcs, and murdered one of Hecate's young shadows who had ventured into his domain. Every time Ikki dies, he enjoys showing him terrifying horrors and making the saints.
During the Hades arc, he met Tsuki and Akina, whom he fought until they realized they both didn't give a damn about his grand speeches about Hades' honor. And when he saw the glimmer of sadness in the Black Saint's eyes, he began to miss the little boy he once was, because in the end, he had only been used.
Unfortunately, too many ideas from the Mekai had been implanted in his head, and he couldn't be saved because he didn't want to, but he let the two girls go. He thought about attacking Dohko but was afraid enough of Tsuki not to.
He was loaned by Hades to Loki, and in SoG, participated in the entire Yggdrasil process, becoming quite close to Andreas and the god warriors. When Cecilia, the girl who was supposed to become the reincarnation of the goddess Hel, escaped, he nearly killed her, but suffered a panic attack related to the fact that his actions were weighing more and more on his soul. (Don't worry, Cecilia will find Tsuki.)
A few days before his seventh birthday, he took plants to drug himself and erase his doubts, and found himself facing Mutsumi in Yggdrasil, convinced he would defeat her. In a desperate fit of pride, Horoe used his most powerful attack, which he couldn't control, and accidentally caused a rockfall. Mutsumi was protected by the Garuda's surplice, but did not save Horoe, knowing full well that Horoe didn't want to hear him. Horoe was buried up to his torso and lost his legs. During his last minutes, Mutsumi did not abandon him, humming old German songs.
With his last breath, Horoe found himself embracing his mother, for after all, he was only a child.
In personality, Horoe is silent, not in a pretentious way, but rather out of a detachment that has always been present. He is extremely weak physically, and despite his intelligence, hates himself for not being perfect. He thirsts for love and will do anything for the person who gives it to him, even killing. As a specter, he attempts to erase the fact that he is a child, and quickly takes the lives of his victims. The drugs Pandora gives him cause violent mood swings, which leave him trembling. He was rather thoughtful, and knows he sees himself in Akina. He was close to Karla, and his own actions disgust him, when Hades isn't completely manipulating him.
Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

ask game :)
🌀, ❄️,🌤️
🌀-Victory feels different to the way any of them expected.
Volodymyr and Olena take a train through to the Carpathians and learn one another anew.
❄️ -She knows it will take time.
They have time now.
The first few weeks are strange - still full of a sense of unreality that leaves them both raw, exhausted. There are no more five am wake up calls, no more nights that are shattered by the cry of the siren, a discordant harmony entwined with the dull shriek of the drones.
As night curls around them, she watches him stand by the window, his face lit by the harsh glow of his phone.
“Come to bed-”
He glances over at her, almost as if he had forgotten she was there - forgotten that this place is not his tiny, ascetic room behind the office in Bankova street. He is still gaunt, drained - she wonders how much time will pass before he is well again, or if the shadows she sees in his face now are part of him, indelible.
🌤️ -
"Why are you wearing my shirt?”
“I'm not- they just look similar is all. Black, short sleeves-”
“No that's definitely mine. It doesn't even fit you!”
[...]
“Stop looking at me like that!”
“Like what?”
“Like you don't believe me.”
“Well I don't-”
“Would you believe me if I told you I missed you?”
“W-what?”

Happy Storyteller Saturday! Which sentence/section are you most proud of how it turned out?
Hey Tash! Thanks so much for the ask! :D
I'm super proud of how the scene (below the cut to save everyone else!) turned out. It takes place in Memento Mori Part III, so I had to wait absolutely ages to get to this scene, but I'm really proud of how it turned out (even in it's first draft state!)
IMHO, it really encapsulates Morgana's character arc; from being someone who didn't even want to help out Olena, to confronting the man who murdered her. It really shows her growing confidence in her own skills, and her drive for justice.
“Hi, Anatoli,” I sat down in front of him, and met his cool, blue gaze. He stared right through me. “We’ve never been properly introduced, although, the last time I saw you, you were trying to gun down several police officers in Glasgow.
His eyes flicked to me, and his lips slowly folded into a smile. “Ah...the one person that I’ve killed who won’t stay dead.”
“I’m sorry to let you down, and be an inconvenience to you,” I returned his smile. I pulled the pair of nail clippers from my pocket and sat it on the table between us.
“You think you scare me, little Lazarus? Is that a threat?”
“No,” I clasped my hands together and sat them on the table in front of me. “I’m not threatening you. I doubt I could. You don’t appear to be someone who gets frightened at all.”
“You’re right. I’m not. Gregarov was frightened of you. He still cries himself to sleep, locked in his little cell. He begs for forgiveness, haunted by his ghosts” Anatoli leaned over and spat on the floor. If only he knew how right he was. “I’m not weak like him.”
“No, you’re a survivor, right?”
“Of course,” he shrugged and sat back in his chair, as if we were at a coffee shop enjoying a quick catch up. “Like you. You survived many bullets to the chest, and yet here you are.”
“Here we both are,” I opened my hands so that he could see my palms, my fingers still interlocked. “We’ve both come a long way from Maryhill Police Station.”
“And what made you follow me, little Lazarus? Why  have you crossed the ocean to vex me?”
“I made a promise. To Olena.”
“Is that supposed to mean something to me?” He gave me a blank look.
“Olena Bogutskaya.”
“No idea. Is she famous? YouTube personality? Influencer? Pop star?”  He let his face slip into a sly smile. “Porn star?”
“Olena Bogutskaya was the woman you killed and threw away in the canal at Drumchapel.”
“Doesn’t ring a bell. There were so many women in Scotland. They all looked the same.”
“You’d remember Olena. She was special. You strangled her yourself. She wasn’t a suicide victim, or killed by one of your Johns, or someone who overdosed. You killed her yourself. She tried to escape, and she clawed at your face. That little scar on your eyelid,” I pointed to his left eye. “That was a gift from Olena. The police found your DNA under her fingernails, even after almost a week in the canal. Of course, we didn’t know it was yours until you shot up the police station.”
“A lot of bitches like to scratch and bite,” he shrugged again. “There’s nothing that stands out about her.” “I’m sure,” I stopped smiling. “To me, Olena was remarkable. She’s hard to forget. So that’s why I’m here. Over four and a half thousand miles. For her.”
“Look,” Anatoli sat forward, suddenly conspiratorial. “The FBI bitch who arrested me. She thinks she can pin things on me. But she doesn’t know all of my friends in high places. I give her another couple of hours before she discovers that I have diplomatic immunity. ”
“Oh, she already knows,” I leant in and copied his loud whisper. “The memo came in five minutes after the raid, and it was waiting for Agent Kemper when you got to the station. The Russian Embassy is sending over the Ambassador himself to collect you. They’ll be here in fifteen  minutes.”
“Then why am I still in chains?”
“Because I came all this way, Anatoli!” I sat back and threw my hands out wide. “I wanted to meet you properly.”
“Then you’ve wasted your journey, little Lazarus. You can’t arrest me, and even if you could, I’d just walk free. Like I did in Scotland.”
“I don’t feel like I’ve wasted anything,” I brought my hands down, and pinned his left hand. Gripping the clippers, I cut off two of his fingernails, and slipped them into an evidence bag. He was so stunned, he didn’t even try to pull his hand back.
“You can’t prosecute me,” he sneered. “My DNA is useless.” “To the justice system, sure,” I pulled a tissue out of my pocket, and wiped up his gob of spit from the floor. I sealed the evidence bag. “You know, in the olden days, like centuries ago, I think, going all the way back to the Egyptians maybe...but anyway, ancient peoples believed that a person’s essence was kept in their hair and nails. So to have someone’s essence, is to have power over them.”
I put the evidence bags into my pocket, along with the nail clippers. Anatoli was staring at his hand.
“Maybe there were more like me, back in those times. So, people were careful with their hair and nails, and teeth too. They knew the power you could have over someone, if you held their essence. For example, you can summon the dead back from their graves. Make sure they never find peace.”
Anatoli was back to looking through me, and maybe it was my imagination, but he looked paler.
“When Gregarov screams and begs for forgiveness, it’s not the universe that he’s speaking to, or God. It’s the women that you’ve forgotten...the nameless, disposable ‘bitches’...that have an entire afterlife to spend repaying the torment he gave to them in life.”
I poured myself a glass of water; I’d not spoken this much in a while, and my throat was dry.
“You were raised in the Orthodox Church, right? So you believe in life after death, heaven, hell. Life is a trial to decide if you get into heaven and all the rewards that await you. But, see, here’s the thing. I’m a necromancer. You’ve seen me come back from the dead. I speak to the Dead, and I can summon them. Some people think I’m the reincarnation of the Queen of the Underworld. The Dead could be pawns for me to play with, if I was that way inclined. And here’s the thing, with your essence, with my little bags,” I patted my pocket. “When your time comes, I won’t let you go to Heaven, or Hell. I can do whatever I want with you.”
His eyes flickered back to me.
“I can’t do anything to you in the world of the living, but no one lives forever, Anatoli. You’ll have to enter my realm at some point. And I’ll be waiting, along with all the faceless, nameless, disposable ‘cunts’ that you threw in the canal, in the garbage, just used up and discarded when you didn’t want them anymore.”
I stood up and leant over the table to whisper into his ear.
“You had better hope that you live a long and healthy life, Anatoli. I’ll no doubt be seeing you soon.I might not even have to wait that long.”
I knocked on the door, and the guard let me out.

Berlingske: Berlingske meets the woman behind the war President: "Sometimes I ask if he can give me some good news"
Ukraine's First Lady thanks Denmark for its support in a defense struggle that is currently bringing grim news on a daily basis. In an interview with Berlingske, she explains how she - and the President - keep her spirits up. And why the country risks losing an entire generation.

Olena Zelenska's eyes grow distant as she ponders the question. She has just told us how she tries to dose the amount of horrific news from the frontline. One person cannot carry everything on their shoulders. But a person at war can't stop trying either. Especially when you're married to a President, and when even the rare moments that should belong to the two of them alone are also invaded by the all-consuming war. Because the answer to that painful question is yes. Even the President's own family can feel the discouragement sometimes. Olena Zelenska, the Ukrainian First Lady who has stood by her husband and her country, can also reach a limit. She smiles sadly at the thought. "Sometimes I ask him if he can give me some good news. Something optimistic. Give me something!" she says about her conversations with her husband, Volodymyr Zelenskyj. Berlingske meets Olena Zelenska in Copenhagen, where she is on a quick visit. A visit that otherwise brings more positive news for some of the efforts that the country's First Lady has fought most fiercely for. On Tuesday, the government announced another military aid package to Ukraine of DKK 2.2 billion. And the day before, a Danish coalition announced plans to build new homes for war-affected Ukrainian foster children and their families. This is part of what she is in Denmark to give thanks for. It "fills her with hope," she says. "I am impressed by how Denmark helps us on all levels," says the Ukrainian First Lady in an interview with Berlingske. But she also brings serious thoughts from the war-torn country. Thoughts about "the long war" and its growing impact on the mental health of an entire country. Because 780 days of defensive fighting with lost limbs, air raids, funerals and escape tear and rip at the supporting walls of a society in ways that we are only beginning to sense. "There are children who are three years old now, who are only beginning to understand the world, who don't remember anything other than war because they are too young. For them, air raid alarms are everyday life," says Olena Zelenska. But despite the obvious needs, talking about the psychological effects of the war is still a struggle for many Ukrainians. "That's why we are now doing everything we can not to lose a generation," she says. "It requires you to be brutally honest.
Things are going the wrong way at the front We meet at a time when the war is more unpredictable than ever. Russian forces are on the rise again, while parts of the promised Western aid are frozen in the US Congress. In several places along the front line, the invasion forces are eating away at the front line kilometer by kilometer. Most recently, Russia launched the fiercest rocket and drone attacks on the million-strong city of Kharkiv since the first phase of the war two years ago. They used targeted double strikes, where a precision bombardment against civilian targets is followed by another attack after a short pause. "They wait for the rescuers to arrive and then they attack again, killing the rescuers," says Olena Zelenska. Last week, a video footage showed how a rescue worker in Kharkiv found his own father among the dead. The video shows him sobbing next to the body. This is everyday life. Every single member of her own small Ukrainian delegation has lost loved ones in the war, says the First Lady. "A whole community has changed. No one is the same as they were before the war. Not even those who are alive and in good health. Some had to flee the occupation. Some were pulled out of the ruins of their own house," she says. Here, it would probably sound right to say that adversity only makes people stronger. But that's not always true. "It drains our strength, even though we want to hold on as long as we can because it's a matter of survival," says Olena Zelenska seriously. Because even internationally, the psychological consequences are far less talked about than the material destruction. But according to the Red Cross, there is an "imminent danger that a whole generation of Ukrainian children and young people will be lost". And even once the war is over, the number of war veterans will be staggering. Ukraine's Ministry of Health estimates that close to 40 percent of the country's population, 15 million people, are in need of psychological care. Between three and four million are estimated to need medication. Therefore, the first step is to break the taboo that is still attached to talking about psychological wounds, says Zelenska. She herself has become the face of a campaign under the slogan "How are you?" with the goal of getting people to talk about it. And to seek help. "Sometimes we say we're fine so as not to scare our loved ones. Sometimes we say we're fine so that we can bring peace to others. So our task is to teach society and all of us to ask ourselves how we really feel and what we can do about it," says Olena Zelenska. Ukraine's past as part of the Soviet Union - when psychiatric hospitals were used to punish dissidents - hasn't made that task any easier. But if the adult generation doesn't learn to talk about their own vulnerability, neither will the next generation. "Some parents of young children might tell you that the air alarm is something other than what it is. I don't think that's the right thing to do. You have to choose the right words and the right tone, but you have to tell the truth," says Olena Zelenska. If you dodge children's questions, they might imagine something even worse than reality. A genre of children's books has already emerged in Ukraine to help parents talk to their children about war.
The luxury of watching a movie Olena Zelenska knows all about the latter. She still regularly runs down to the bomb shelter with the Presidential couple's two children when the air raid sirens wail. And on the morning two years ago when war broke out, she was the one who had to tell them that Russian forces had invaded the country. The couple's daughter, Oleksandra, was 17 and their son, Kyrylo, had just turned 11. Did you tell the whole truth about the war to your children yourself? "I was afraid to do it, but by the time I was ready, they already knew almost everything," says Olena Zelenska with a wry smile. "Fortunately, my children are not that small. And actually, we experienced everything at the same time," she says of the evacuation from her home outside Kyiv as Russian forces advanced towards the capital. "For me as a mother, it was a tragedy that my children had to experience this. No parent could prepare their children for this," she says. The war has also turned the Presidential couple's personal lives upside down. For most of their adult lives, the couple has worked together. They both have a background in TV comedy. He on stage and she as a scriptwriter. Now, the security dictates of war require them to live apart most of the time. And while the war can make you despondent, it's not the despair that's the biggest issue. "We don't stop. We don't lose heart. I wouldn't say that anger is our main emotion. But what happens when you are beaten?" "You can submit or you can defend yourself. And that anger, that anger gives us the strength to defend ourselves," says the First Lady. She looks out the window over the Copenhagen canal. The Presidential couple often only see each other once a week, says Olena Zelenska. When they do, she prefers to reminisce about the old days. "Sometimes we can watch a movie together. I like to watch things that we watched when we were children or young people. Maybe a silly comedy," she says. Can you laugh when you're together like in the old days? "Yes, of course we do. We try to support each other that way by making each other laugh," says Olena Zelenska. But no one and nothing is the same after the outbreak of war. Not even laughter, which now serves a different purpose. Olena Zelenska quotes the Ukrainian poet Lesja Ukrajinka: "I laughed in order not to cry".

Chesterlypso - 7 >:)
7- Write about one member of your ship asking the other to dance with them.
WEHEHE i love this but also SURPRISE CHALYPSO
The hall is loud – the band the reverend hired were a tad unusual. Mary supposes with the rise of the Unmentionables, musicians are finding it harder to get jobs outside their comfort zone. So what little they had, they made do: be it the strings are far more violent and the drums louder and heavier. She does note that Orlaag’s charge, Olena, stands on stage with her violin. She is good. Unfortunate that her business seems to lie in the unknown than music. She sits at her table, happily sipping her sherry as she listens to Angie discuss her most recent commission from Orlaag.
“You seem to be quite good with him,” her friend points out, and Mary shrugs.
“I find him easy in personality and in temperament.” She excuses. Though it is as if God thinks she cannot have too much of a good thing: Angie nudges her, head angling to their right, and Mary spares a glance, not making it obvious (the pair had made it their duty to be able to peer and peek and not be noticed for maximum information retention and gossip). Chesterfield approaches, snakelike eyes on the women.
“I’m not putting up with this,” Angie mutters behind her fan, “I’ll get you another drink, right?”
“No, Angie, do not leave me!” Mary hisses, trying to bring her back down onto her seat, but Angie is already up and resilient.
“I’m not gettin’ kicked out of another ‘do!” she replies, winking as she hides her smirk behind her fan. Mary grits her teeth, the fabric of Angie’s dress slipping through her fingers. Another meek ‘no!’ escapes before she straightens and clears her throat, feeling the shadow of a predator falling upon her.
“Miss Huggenkiss!” Dr Chesterfield smiles. He’s got a new suit jacket, velour and red. She despises it (it would look good on Charles). “I see you are alone. That simply will not do.”
“Oh, I find it quite adequate, Dr Chesterfield.” Mary scans the room over his shoulder for anyone she might make eye contact with. Unfortunately she already sees Roisin and Magnus sneaking out onto the balcony. Angie is following around a waiter. Finally Chesterfield leans into her vision, as casually as he can.
“Nonsense, you do not know adequacy quite like I do.” Mary wonders how he thinks these words might make any sort of positive impact, if that is even his intention. Suddenly he holds his arm up, “Come, I think a dance. I have not seen you on the floor once. Surely not all your dances are reserved for the Colonel, even in his absence?”
At the mention of Charles, Mary wants to bristle. Wants to know where he is. Wants to write him another letter. But instead she smiles, standing up, eye to eye with the doctor. “No, not only him. I keep all my friends in mind.” She makes a show of looking around, “Though you will do, if it eases your emotional state that I dance with you.”
She isn’t sure if he simply allows the comment or it’s flown over his head. But as soon as he turns, hand gripping hers a bit tightly, he grunts as he walks right into someone. Chesterfield nearly raises his voice, until he stares at the bespectacled man, still in uniform.
“Colonel!”
Charles, she thinks with a sigh of relief. The moment she sees him she slips out of Chesterfield’s hold and to his side, taking hold of Charles’ arm to make sure he is not a mirage.
“I do not mean to interrupt, but I do believe that ah – the first dance is at least reserved for me.” Charles explains, looking at Mary. As their eyes lock, her gaze softens entirely, and she doesn’t even feel the smile that is present on her face. He smiles back at the warm reception. He always feels prosperous when she shows him her beautiful smile. “That has been our deal for a very long time.”
“Yes!” Mary nods, soothing her tone, “Yes. Apologies.”
“Indeed, apologies for the interruption, Mr Chesterfield.”
“Doctor.”
“Hm.”
Charles turns with Mary, the pair effortlessly joining the crowd, leaving Chesterfield in the shadows.

creative release outside of my day job is VERY important to me and writing and d&d are my favourite types!!
💌share something with us about an up-and-coming work (WIP) that has you excited!
ria ty for letting me gush about my current wip. let's talk about the bridgerchuks. under the read more bc l o l
✨ fic writer asks meme ✨
ok so i mentioned in a previous reply that i'm writing a fic where matthew tkachuk is the eldest of eight so like.... here's a list of all my tkachuks, in age order, including all the ocs bc i love them:
Matthew - my son, not much different to canon but turn that Big Brother Energy up another, oh, 5 notches
Braeden (Brady) - brady also isn't much different, really, i'm not here to change too much up
Aisling (Ash) - here the changes start!! ash is two years younger than brady and was born the summer the family moved to st louis. she's loud and sure of herself and athletic to an extent but not into team sports - she goes to school in california and likes to surf and she's going to be a lawyer
Olena (Lena) - lena came two years later - the summer keith ended up reporting to training camp overweight which like. good reason. so many kids buddy. she's the quiet tkachuk. she likes her alone time more than any of the others and she will carve it out for herself, but she still loves them all fiercely even if she wishes they'd shut the fuck up. she watches everything so she knows a lot about hockey even though she never plays (and eventually will become a hockey scout bc of this)
Ciaran - Twin #1 - ciaran did the thing all the other boys did and went "hockey? ok!" but he did it different and went "shouldn't one of us play d though?" so he's a defenceman. i realised during the draft this year it would have been his year to get drafted to based the team he plays for off the teams who took d men in the higher pick so ya boy's a hab! and excited about it! he loves attention, and did theatre in high school (which is where he met his long term girlfriend who will follow him to montreal after college) and he's passionate and not afraid to speak his mind and stand up for minorities
Madison (Maddie) - Twin #2 - maddie saw her twin playing hockey and went "me too!" and then saw him switch to d and went "erm, no?". matthew and brady will be the first to tell you she's got the best slapshot in the family. she's playing collegiate but we'll see what happens with all the pwhl stuff before i decide what happens with her.
worth noting kieth had a vasectomy after the twins which, erm, did not stick. sorry buddy.
Oleksander (Xander) - xander was a suprise and i realised after building the spreadsheet (of course there's a spreadsheet) that his conception would have been when keith got home after being a playoff rental to the trashers LOL. he plays hockey as a kid bc he feels like he has to, and he's so nervous to admit he doesn't want to but everyone's like.. literally do what you want. why would you play professionally if you don't enjoy it!! so he's gonna go to college and do something DIFFERENT and be so much happier for it
Taryn - taryn is still taryn!! just much younger!! she is born in 2009, so keith's last playing year as he retired post 09-10 season. she's still the baby, still perfect in everyone's eyes. still highly competitive and will go into field hockey.
i went OFF and i'm not even sorry but i love them its nice to release them into the world a little after so long of them living in mine and @puckthisshift's head lol

//there will be two versions of this! Version 1//
Ivan stood on breach, the storm clouds whipping the top layer of sand around him. It didn't touch him, he somehow knew he was willing that but didn't know how to control it.
He stared at his hands, it's been weeks since the attack. Everyone had stopped asking him and his sisters if they were okay. Now everyone was worried for Alina, her magic wouldn't come anymore.
He was too, he missed feeling that light run up his arms like a cat.
"You shouldn't be standing here by yourself little one...don't you know there are monsters in these woods?"
Ivan turned from the choppy waves to the treeline. The male who walked toward him wore silk robe of red, blue and purple. He stared at that and not the feeling of this thing tasting his magic.
"Did you steal that?"
The figure laughed, moving to squat in front of him. Iron claws slid the material through its fingers.
"I did not, we make it. The red is dipped in the blood of our victims."
The figure touched the hem of his robes to show the red. He moved his fingers to the dark blue, it encompassed most of the robes.
"This is from draining those pretty blue Asteri eyes. And the purple,"
He wrapped a hand around his own throat to indicate the collar. It was a deep, dark purple, nearly black.
"This is made from crushed Valg souls."
Ivan swallowed, as the male unfolded to his full height again. He raised his chin, he would not be afraid.
There were rumors he would become Ayla's bodyguard - he would not fail her.
"Are you trying to scare me? Changelings lie is any of that true?"
The male laughed, moving to circle him, driving him subtley toward the water. Ivan tried to resist but he didn't want that thing closer to him.
But he couldn't swim.
"Souls don't have color boy, remember that. I'm Ramses."
Ramses stopped, letting Ivan scramble away from him. They weren't near the waves now.
Ivan turned to the palace, he needed to get to woods and down the main path thought town to gates. If he ran he could get there before -
"I think I'm owed some truths now yes? I've been fairly honest with you haven't I Ivan?"
He snapped his neck back to Ramses. His eyes wide as he stepped back. Fear finally slamming into him. If they knew his name they could become him.
Wasn't that what his mother always said?
"How do you know my name? What do you want?"
Ramses regarded him, tilting his head. His smile was amused, but he didn't attack him.
"Was your mother happy? Did your father keep her well?"
Ivan frowned, his magic snapping awake. Ramses smile widened as he felt it attack him.
"Well Ivan? Did he?"
"Of course he did."
Ramses nodded, his shoulders relaxing. He looked to the rolling waves.
"Your mother Olena was one of my older sisters. I haven't found the others but -"
"Another lie. Mama wasn't like one of you."
Ramses eyes briefly shut and he turned back to Ivan. His eyes dark as he stepped toward him, he drove to the rocks, pinning him against it.
"Should I tell you about Dragos? Your father his kin called the Blood King? Should I tell you about the females he bought and kept in a prison cell for his nobles to lay with?"
Ivan didn't respond, shaking now. Ramses knelt before him, gripping his collar.
"Your sisters are in danger boy. They are powerful, you know that. You're not that stupid, so will you do what I ask to protect them?"
Ivan bit his tongue, his voice found as Ramses shook him. His head slammed back against the rocks.
"You're the danger!"
Ramses eyes narrowed and he dragged him closer.
"Fae can contorl one thing, they are given one gift boy. The sand not spray of the waves have touched you. Do you think you're truly one of them? You'll feel it eventually, that drive to kill, to mate, to dominate. I'm offering you the help now, will you take it?"
Ivan spat at his feet.
"No. Kill me, I won't trust you."
Ramses shoved him harder against the rocks.
"I was going to give you this gift for the blood you share with me. The next time you come find me will not be for free."
Ivan struggled but didn't respond.
Ramses let him ago, turning to the sea.
"Suit yourself boy. I hope you know what you're doing."
------
Lumnos had a new queen, one Ivan had very little interest in. Alina seemed to think she was nice and friendly. Ivan didn't agree with that assessment. She seemed stuck up and rude.
But today was the day of the Coronation Ball and he had more important things to worry about.
He'd put out at that day in the beach, having told only her about it. Alina and he were finally old enough to attend the entire event tonight.
He'd wondered if that also meant they'd be able to finally drink too.
The hall was beautiful, he flushed as he stepped toward Alina and took her arm.
She look beautiful but the words failed him.
Like they usually did when she dressed up like this.
The night was beautiful, all of Alaric's family was here too. Aleksander was telling him about the newest book he'd read.
Alina and Anastasiya were whispering about...a hunt? He didn't understand that?
His eyes kept drifting to Yesenia and Alaric, they'd been dancing or mingling all night. He could hear the heartbeat of the baby inside her if he tried hard enough. He and Ludamilla had been hounding her to tell Alaric. He didn't understand her trepidation was she scared he'd not be happy?
His magic rose at that, Ludmilla had chosen to the healer but he was not. Thought they had similar powers he'd chosen it for offensive, for fighting. It served him well in protecting Alina, but he'd happy use it against Alaric too.
Ludmilla had guessed it was because Yesenia was just excited and wanted make the moment special.
He didn't understand that either, he looked to Alina. If he didn't think she'd laugh at him he'd tell her she looked beautiful tonight.
He'd tell her he'd wanted to dance with her all night.
He'd -
His eyes snapped as the window shattered and rebels poured in. He felt the magic in him vanish as they began to be boxed in.
Changelings.
He reached for Alina, trying to -
Trying to stop what he somehow knew would end in a massacre.
Alina had been eager to join the festivities in honor of the new queen. Being able to dress up and spend the night dancing was something she'd been looking forward to. Perhaps Ivan wasn't nearly as excited as her, but she intended to make sure that he enjoyed himself. She planned on entreating him to take her to the dance floor at least once, perhaps twice if she could sweet talk him.
The night soon exploded into a shattering of glass, a myriad of screams, and the smell of death. Panicked eyes met Ivan's as Alina reached for his arm.
"We need to-
Debris slammed into her, sending her sliding from Ivan's grip.

🖊 Romitri, bakery
This ended up double the length it was supposed to be because i couldn't stop writing... whoops? Enjoy x
The moan Rose lets out as she steps into the bakery and inhales the aroma of delicious scents is practically indecent if the judgemental looks from the people waiting in line are any indication.  But she ignores them, along with their grumbling, as she skips past on her way to the counter where she boosts herself right up onto it.
“Olena,” she sings, receiving an indulgent smile in return as she leans in to press a kiss to her cheek.
“Hello, Roza.”  Olena peers past her.  “No Lissa today?”
“Nah, she had an early class.”
Rose waits, somewhat impatiently, as Olena takes an order, ringing it through the register and accepting the customer’s money, before throwing her a pleading look, the silent question accentuated by a loud growl from her stomach.
It makes Olena laugh as she gestures behind her.  “Go, your breakfast is waiting.”
“I love you,” Rose declares, sliding off the counter and leaving her to her next impatient customer.
She squeezes past Sonya behind the coffee machine, calling a hello as she does, and receives something mumbled in return, a response that’s practically friendly coming from her so early in the morning.  She’s forced to dodge Yeva, who’s coming the opposite way with a tray of hot blini and who snaps something distinctly less friendly in Russian, before she can finally throw herself at the waiting plate of bread with another borderline lewd moan.  To watch Rose take her first bite of the black bread, that’s so fresh it's still steaming, one might think it’s a heavenly experience, what with the way she closes her eyes and tilts her head back.
“Roza!” Viktoria calls, coming out from the kitchen.  “I thought I heard you.”
Rose waves at her friend, savouring the mouthful of bread, but her chewing slows and her nose crinkles as she notices something.
“It’s different,” she says without swallowing, and it all comes out a little garbled.  “The bread tastes different.”
Olena hands the last customer their order in a brown paper bag and bids them a good day before turning to Rose with a raised eyebrow.  Rose is half expecting her to chastise her for talking with her mouth full - something so motherly that Rose still isn’t quite used to it - but instead Olena just asks curiously, “Bad?”
Rose shoots her an indignant look in return and swallows.  “Of course not bad, it could never be bad, just different.  Did you change the recipe or something?” she asks, knowing full well Olena doesn’t follow recipes.
“No.  My son baked the bread this morning.”
Rose, in the process of taking another bite, pauses, and feels her eyebrows rise.  She knows of the Belikov’s only son of course, but in the year she’s become a permanent fixture in their bakery, she’s never laid eyes on him.  She thinks she remembers hearing once that he’s away at school in New York.
Rose’s thoughtful hum turns delighted as she bites into the bread again; she would never admit it to Olena but she thinks she might almost enjoy the tangier flavour of today’s bread more than she usually does.
She hears the door to the kitchen swing open again and Viktoria lets out a crow of laughter.  “Hey Dimka, apparently your bread tastes weird.”
Rose swallows roughly and gestures in surrender so emphatically that she almost loses the rest of her breakfast.  “Woah, hey, I did not say it was weird, I said it was diff-”  Her words die in her throat as she turns to the newcomer and catches sight of quite possibly the hottest guy she’s ever laid eyes on.
Olena’s son has to have nearly a foot of height on Rose, his arms, exposed by his rolled up sleeves, are corded with muscle, and his shoulder-length hair is tied back in a ponytail that Rose has a wild urge to free from its band and runs her fingers through.
“I’ve never had anyone describe my bread as weird before,” he says, cocking his head with a slight smirk.
Rose ignores the cute dimple that’s appeared in his cheek and levels him with a pointed finger, followed by a glare at Viktoria.  “Different, not weird,” she reiterates.
“Different good?”  He folds his arm across his chest and Rose forcibly drags her eyes away from them.
“That’s yet to be determined,” she shoots back coyly.
“You must be the infamous Roza.”  He offers her a hand to shake.  “Dimitri.”
Rose isn’t too sure about the use of the word ‘infamous’ but accepts the proffered hand regardless; it’s big, and callused, and warm, and she doesn’t want to let go.
“It’s nice to meet you, Dimitri.  And I guess I’ll just have to try your bread again tomorrow to decide.”
“Yes,” Dimitri says, with a slight chuckle, finally, regrettably, releasing her hand.  “I’ve already been told to expect you most mornings.”
Rose levels a glare around at the Belikova women who are watching their exchange with thinly veiled amusement; even Karolina has appeared in the kitchen doorway to observe.  Dimitri moves to his mother’s side and ducks to press a kiss to her cheek.
“I’m going to meet Ivan for a couple hours, Mama, but I’ll be back for the lunch rush.”
Olena reaches up and pats his cheek, smoothing away a stray streak of flour that’s found its way there.
“It was nice to meet you, Roza,” Dimitri says, before lifting his hand in farewell to his family as he heads for the door.
“He called me Roza,” Rose says faintly, once he’s out of earshot.
Viktoria shoots her a bemused look.  “We all call you Roza.”
“Yeah, but not like that.”  Rose snatches up her breakfast and hurries after him, ignoring Yeva’s bark of Russian that follows her, no doubt a warning of the perils she’ll face if she doesn’t return her plate.  “Hey,” she says, catching up with Dimitri at the door.
Dimitri looks amused to see her, but holds the door open for her to step through.
“So, when are you heading back to New York?”
“I’m not.  I finished my degree last semester, I’d moved back home to help out for a few months before I worked out my next move, but…”
“But…” Rose prods.
Dimitri’s eyes trace over her face.  “But maybe there’s more here for me than I thought.  I’ll see you around, Roza.”
Rose grins, “See ya, comrade.”

Here it is!
❄️Share a snippet from a WIP of your choosing.
“We'll find the way and be there in a minute,” Volodymyr finally said to him. The servant nodded to him and looked at them indecisively for a moment, but apparently saw another guest who needed help, so he gave them another nod and then disappeared. Volodymyr followed him briefly with his eyes before looking back at Olena. To his surprise, she was no longer looking at the picture but was also looking after the servant, a mischievous smile on her lips. Then she briefly checked her surroundings, but they were now alone, as all the other guests had passed them by. “Come with me,” she said to Volodymyr and before he could say anything, she pulled him with her into one of the adjoining corridors, which were only lit by the light of the hallway.
🌈 Share something soft/fluffy from your WIP.
With a sigh, Volodymyr turned to her and pressed himself as close as he could to Olena's body. Then he lay down again and she stroked his hair with one hand while she continued reading. But apparently Volodymyr wasn't satisfied with that, because Olena heard the blanket rustle again and suddenly Volodymyr's head was lying on her upper body, both arms around her body and he cuddled as close to her as he could. A soft laugh escaped Olena as she tried to reorganize her documents.
💧Share something romantic/hot from your WIP, or just something sweet if it's gen.
Olena gently kissed his neck once more before Volodymyr felt her moving down his spine with small kisses. He pressed his lips together and sighed as Olena reached his tailbone. With each additional kiss, he had grown harder and he rubbed himself lightly against the mattress as Olena placed kisses along his hip. Then he felt her shift her weight again and kiss the skin between his shoulder blades once more. The goosebumps that spread across Volodymyr's skin were joined by a moan as he felt one of Olena's hands slide under his body and grasp his cock through the fabric of his pants.

The 100th day of the war. And the people
One very tired man, one night in a train station, point blank asking me "I don't know where to go. I don't know what to do anymore. Where would you advise me to go?" Sir, it's almost midnight. Right now you're not going anywhere. We are transferring you to a place where you can sleep. Tomorrow you'll decide.
Olena, who exchanged phone numbers with me. She jokingly told me to register her number under "Olena the refugee". That was how she introduced herself. The next day when she called me she said "Olena from Ukraine". The Ibis hotel wouldn't unfreeze the 100 euros deposit she had to make. I had to call them two days in a row for them to give back the money they owed. They blocked my phone number. Joke's on them, I had another one for work.
Vitaliy's mother who told me her two years old son kinda looked like Khrushchev.
One Nigerian and his very pregnant wife who wasn't feeling well. We called an ambulance for her and while we were waiting the man was asking the Red Cross volunteers "so if my wife were to give birth in France would the child receive french citizenship?"
Galya, 8 years old shouting "Mom, that man is called Olivier like the salad"
A woman with a big bandage on her finger telling how her cat escaped from his cage during their transfer in Berlin, how she grabbed him by the tail because the train was about the depart and how the scared cat scratched her so strongly she basically had no skin left on her middle finger. And what caused her distress wasn't the pain but the fact that she mistreated her cat.
That very sweet old woman in a wheelchair. She told me her name and I forgot it. She also told me that when she read the Gospel when she was young she used to cry thinking about all the suffering Jesus endured. "But God saved me and led me here to safety".
Sasha who was going to Barcelona, who just finished school and did not know what to study at the university, and who asked me "Why are there so many Asians in Paris? Did you get invaded? Are those migrants?"
Svitlana and Karina, from Kharkiv, desperate and so very very tired. They had spent ten days on the roads of Europe, gone all the way to Madrid only to discover that there was nothing prepared for welcoming refugees, and now wanted to go back to Germany, because they needed a country with a strong social security system. "I don't understand, Svita said, why everyone in Germany is so much kinder toward refugees than our own countrymen. You wouldn't believe how badly the people in Lviv treat the refugees from Eastern Ukraine".
Rita, 14, who wanted to know how to make friends with French teens. "It's easier to make friends when you have a house where you can invite them. Mine got bombed last week. There's nothing left."
A professor of nuclear physics headed to Bordeaux. "I've always dreamed of working in France, and my French colleagues have managed to arrange that"
That refugee who met Zemfira in a train station in Paris.
One mixed race couple who were absolutely unfazed by all the chaos of Gare de Lyon and were looking for a good restaurant because they had some time before their train.
That very old couple who absolutely refused to be sent to the Red Cross's dormitory. "We went yesterday, they said they would drive us in the morning to the train station, that we would be able to get on the train on time. They didn't, we missed the train, and now we're not going anywhere. The train leaves at 6 am, we're gonna sleep in the station and if they close the station at night, we're just going to walk around until they open it.
Anna from Kyiv. I told her that was the name of one of the Queens of France. She spent a month in Paris but ultimately decided to go back to Kyiv. While she was in France, she visited a friend who found a home in Toulouse, then went to Biarritz because she'd never seen the Atlantic Ocean, and had the perfect occasion.
A couple and their two years old daughter, Zlata, who found an accommodation in the middle of bumfuck nowhere near Brive la Gaillarde. They sent us lots of photography. They spent their first month sightseeing, as there are loads of medieval castles around.
The woman with blue and yellow ribbons in her braids, who was trying to find something like kefir in French supermarkets.
Another Anna, who tried croissants and éclairs for the first time. The croissants were heavenly but the éclairs were way too sweet and honestly she found them overrated. Croissants did deserve the hype.
A therapist from Kyiv who found a place to stay in Rouen, but is considering moving because her daughter is in highschool and she wants her to go to a reputable one. And she is shocked by how bad French students' maths level is.
Sanya, Vika and their turtle.

Vacation on Isle Esme
Tumblr media
Word Count: 6,989 Demetri x OC Part 7. Warning; Fluff, NSFW
“What’s going on with Ally?” Felix asked over Carlisle’s shoulder “I don’t know Felix, Demetri can’t wake her” Carlisle replies “I’ll get the plane ready and go and bring them home” Felix replies leaving the room “Demetri, Felix is coming out to Rio to bring you both home” Carlisle advises him “I know you’re worried but you need to stay calm, as long as Ally’s breathing she’ll be ok. Gently lay her on her side on the bed and pack your things because as soon Felix arrives you need to be ready to leave, ok?” Carlisle continues “O-Ok. T-Thank you Carlisle” Demetri replies low.
Ally woke up in Demetri’s arms “D-Demi” “Oh Ally” He breathed “Don’t ever scare me like that again” He kissed her forehead holding her closer to him “I-I’m sorry. I’d been sick…and… felt a bit lightheaded…and…and… I’m guessing I passed out” She replied softly “I came back and found you on the bathroom floor…I-I couldn’t wake you” He said low “I’m sorry” “You’re awake, safe and in my arms, that’s all I care about for now. Felix will be here soon and Carlisle is waiting for us back at the castle” He says quietly as she snuggles into him “I love you Dem” “I love you too.”
“Demetri, Ally” Felix calls out when he arrives “In here” Demetri calls out; Felix enters the bedroom and sees them both lying on the bed, Ally’s eyes closed “Is…Is she ok?” Felix asks voice shaky “Yea, she came round a few hours ago. She’s sleeping now though” Felix nods “I can’t begin to tell you how scared I was Fe, when I came back and found her…” Demetri trailed off looking into the bathroom “I can imagine D…Come on let’s get you both home, Carlisle’s waiting for you” Demetri nods and carries Ally out of the house as Felix grabs the suitcases.
Once back in the castle Carlisle comes to Demetri and Ally’s room to check on her “How are you feeling Ally?” He asks “Nauseous, a little light-headed again” Ally answered quietly “Ok, let’s have a look at you” Carlisle adds but before he can Ally runs into the bathroom and throws up what little food she ate for breakfast. “Carlisle is-is she going to ok?” Demetri asks concern clearly shown on his face “I can’t lose her” “Yes Demetri. She’ll be just fine as long as she takes my advice and you support her 100%” Carlisle replies “Of course I’ll support her. Why wouldn’t I?” Demetri says as he walks into the bathroom; putting her hair into a low ponytail before sitting down beside her rubbing her back gently. “Ally, I know what’s wrong with you” Carlisle says standing in the bathroom doorway “W-What is it?” She asks low not looking up “You’re pregnant Ally” Carlisle replies “Pr-pregnant? But th-that’s not…Oh my god…” Ally struggles to string a reply together before throwing up again. She looks over at Demetri; a look of surprise clearly shown in on his face. “How?” Demetri asks “Well now Demetri at your age I would have thought you knew how babies were made” Carlisle said smirking; Ally choked back a laugh “I know that Carlisle, I meant how could I let this happen? Aro told us how after seeing Edward’s and Renesmee’s thoughts that Bella died just after she gave birth…” Ally put her hand on his arm “I should have remembered that. I should been more careful with you mi amore” He turned her to face him and looked into her eyes “Forgive me. Please” He begged low “There is nothing to forgive my love. I get to have a baby with you, my husband, the man I love” She cups his face in her hands and places a kiss to his lips.
“All that matters now is that Ally follows my advice” Carlisle says “Of course Carlisle. Will you be staying until the baby arrives?” “Yes. I’ll be your doctor through this. I know what to expect this time around. You will need to drink blood daily as the baby requires it and it’ll help keep you healthy through the pregnancy. I will perform a caesarean when it’s time to deliver the baby. We just need to work out roughly how far along you are” Carlisle replies “She needs to drink blood? But she’s human Carlisle” Demetri asks thinking he may have heard wrong “Yes Demetri. We figured that out a little late with Bella I’m afraid” “Ok. When do I need to start drinking blood Carlisle?” She asked “As soon as possible” He replied.
There was a knock on the door “Hi baby girl. How are you feeling?” Renee asks as she wraps her arms around Ally “I’m ok mom” She replied “Do you know why you passed out whilst you were away?” “Yes mom. It turns out I’m pregnant” Ally responds “W-what? How is that possible?” Renee asks shocked “It turns out that male vampires are able to father children with human females. We only found this out last year when Bella got pregnant” Carlisle replies “Wait. Bella’s a mom too? Why wasn’t I told?” “Because Bella’s a vampire now and humans aren’t allowed to know about us” Carlisle replies “Bella only has Charlie in her life because of her friend Jake” He adds “I need you mom” Ally tightens her hold around Renee “I’m here baby girl” Renee says holding Ally closer stroking her hair “Are you happy about the news?” “Yes mom. We are” “Then congratulations to you both” Renee says smiling reaching out to Demetri who steps forward wrapping one arm around Ally and the other around Renee “Thank you Renee” He says low.
Once Carlisle and Renee leave, Ally goes to the closet to change and places her hand on her stomach “I-I have a baby bump” She says low, Demetri having followed her into the closet now notices the slight swelling of Ally’s stomach and wrapped him arms around her from behind resting his hands on her bump “How-how did I not notice before?” “We were otherwise engaged Demi” She says chuckling lightly, she feels him smile against her neck “You look so beautiful darling” He spoke softly in her ear before placing a kiss to her temple “I love you cara and I’m right here with you” Ally smiled and turned in his arms “I love you too Dem”
The following day Carlisle comes to check on Ally bringing her some blood bags, Esme coming with him. Alice and Jasper come by shortly afterwards “Congratulations you two” Alice says grinning wide, gently hugging Ally then Demetri. “You know you’re going to have to stop sending human/vampire couples to Isle Esme for their honeymoon, right mom? Because we’re currently two for two. There’s obviously ‘something’ about that place” Jasper says laughing; Esme smiles but doesn’t answer him as Carlisle and Demetri choke back a laugh “Yea, mom and Marcus are not allowed to go to Isle Esme together whilst she’s still human” Ally says pointing at Carlisle and Esme; both of them nodding at her smiling.
The following morning Demetri, Ally and Felix are watching TV and Demetri is making sure Ally drinks the cup of blood Carlisle bought by as she’s snuggled up beside him. “Hi sweetie, just me. Thought we could catch up” Jane said as she entered the room. “Sounds good” Ally replies “So what happened with you and Felix after we left for Rio? I mean you two were dancing all evening together” Ally asks curiously. “Felix walked me back to me room at the end of the night and kissed me goodnight. It wasn’t entirely unpleasant” Jane replies with a little smile “Aww. That’s so sweet” Ally says smiling at Jane and Felix. “That goodnight kiss became two…which then led to something more intimate” Felix said smiling; Jane looked at her hands, if she was human she’d be blushing “See Dem I told you there was something between them” Ally says nudging Demetri’s arm “Just because they spent the night together it doesn’t mean they’re actually together though” He says eyeing Felix who just smirks at him “He held me in his arms afterwards, like how Demetri holds you when you sleep” Jane says quietly “Aww so does this mean…” Ally started but stopped when Felix wrapped his arms around Jane and she snuggled into his side “Told you” Ally whispers low in Demetri’s ear; Demetri smiles “Wonder what Alec thinks about the two of you” He muses “I think it’s funny that Jane still pain drops his ass despite them being intimate with one another” Alec answers smiling, entering the room.
“How’s Ally doing?” Felix asked as he entered Demetri’s room a few nights later “She’s doing ok. Carlisle said she’s handling the pregnancy better than Bella did, but I think that’s due to Carlisle knowing what to expect this time around. I mean Ally has been drinking blood since we got back whereas apparently it took them about a week before they realised that Bella needed to drink blood to get her through it” “Well that’s good at least. You’re lucky Carlisle extended his stay with us” Felix replied “Yea, I don’t think it was luck, I think it was Alice” Demetri said smiling looking down Ally asleep in his arms “You think she knew?” “Yes Fe, I think at some point whilst we were away, she had a vision and told Carlisle. He called me just after I found her passed out; asked me if she was ok. He seemed too calm and wasn’t surprised by her symptoms, in fact he had a supply of blood bags ready and waiting for her” “Never thought of it like that before, either way it’s a good thing they’re here” Felix added, Demetri nodded.
Demetri, Felix and Alec had to go on a mission to deal with a few rogues in Spain and were gone for two days; so Ally decided to use some of this time to google baby names; writing down some ideas to discuss with Demetri when he got back.
The night he returns home Demetri and Alyssa sit and discuss baby names in front of the fire “We need to have a think about baby names” Demetri said looking at Ally. “I’m already ahead of you. I had a think about baby names whilst you were away and decided that I’d like to honour your Greek heritage; so I googled Greek names and for a girl I wrote down my three favourite; Catalina – it means chaste / pure, Olena – means torch of light and Sirena – meaning enchantress. My favourite three for a boy are; Galen – it means calm / peaceful, Nikolaos – means victor of people and Xander – means defender of man. What do you think?” She asks holding his hands in hers “Wow! You have given it some thought and it means a lot to me that you want to honour my Greek heritage. I quite like Catalina for a girl and Galen for a boy” Demetri responded smiling “We really are made for each other” Demetri looks at her eyebrow raised “Those were my favourite names from the list too. Did you have any ideas?” “No, that’s why I thought we could discuss baby names, but we have our favourites now.” Demetri replied smiling. “Ok then but for now it’s Baby Volturi” Ally said placing a hand on her baby bump; one of Demetri’s hands doing the same.
Later that night Demetri held Ally in his arms as she slept ‘I can’t believe I’m going to be a dad’ he thought to himself smiling. Ally was woken up by the baby moving about “Oh” She said rolling over feeling the baby kick “Give me your hand Demi” She says placing his hand on her belly “What are you…” He was cut off when he felt the baby kick his hand; Ally looked over to see shock then happiness wash over his face. The baby kicked again “Not sure he’s a fan of your cold hands” She laughed “Or maybe he’s just saying hi to daddy, isn’t that right little one?” Demetri says to her belly and the baby kicks again “See daddy was right” He sounded a bit smug; he then proceeded to talk to the baby quietly whilst Ally went back to sleep, telling the baby all about how he met mommy, how he’s looking forward to meeting him and how he will love and protect them both forever.
Ally woke up to find Demetri on his laptop beside her in bed “Morning mi amore. Sleep well?” “Morning Demi. Mmm once the baby stopped kicking” She replied “What are up to?” “Looking online at cribs, never realised there were so many to choose from, but I like this one. It’s light brown in colour so it will go well in the nursery. It’s easy to assemble and turns into bed when they’re old enough to need one” He replies “That sounds great Demi” “Glad you like it as it arrives the day after tomorrow”
They turned the empty room opposite theirs into a nursery for the baby; everyone lending a hand to get everything ready for the baby’s arrival. The walls were painted cream and Esme and Ally painted a jungle themed mural on one wall complete with tigers. Alice and Jasper bought a pair of big stuffed elephants that sat in a corner near some brightly coloured building blocks “We couldn’t decide between the blue or beige elephant so we bought both” Alice said smiling “Of course you did” Ally replied smiling. Demetri assembled the crib and the chest of drawers on his own refusing any help but he let Felix put the shelves up when Felix declared it was his ‘duty’ as uncle to help get the room prepared.
Renee and Ally celebrated Christmas with Marcus and Demetri by watching Christmas movies together whilst Renee and Ally ate a small Christmas dinner, although Ally had to drink a glass of blood afterwards in order to satisfy the baby’s need “Sorry mom, this must seem weird to you” Ally said low apologising to Renee “Don’t apologise. I get it the baby needs blood; he is half vampire after all. I’m just looking forward to meeting the little one” Renee replies smiling “I think it’s time we exchanged presents” Marcus said handing Renee two beautifully wrapped presents; the first one being a deep blue knee length short sleeve dress, the second being a first edition copy of her favourite book ‘Pride and Prejudice’ “Thank you Marcus, the dress is gorgeous and I love the book” She kisses his lips “This is for you. I hope you like it” Renee said handing him his gift; a copy of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ “It’s perfect mi amore” Marcus said giving Renee a kiss “I noticed your copy was looking a bit battered and I wasn’t sure what else to get you” She replied smiling. Demetri handed Ally a beautifully wrapped box and inside was mosaic photo frame with the word ‘Family’ across the top “I thought we could put pictures of us and the baby in it. I hear humans do that sort of thing” He said looking at Ally with a big grin “We do and it’s a great idea, thank you” She kissed his lips and gave him a hug before passing him his gift; ‘First Time Parent’ parenting book “Figured it would help you and Felix out whilst I’m going through my transformation” She said smiling wide; Renee and Marcus trying not to laugh “I love it thank you. I must confess I bought a parenting book myself a few days ago” He responded wrapping his arms around her “I have no idea how to take care of a baby so I’m hoping your mom helps too” He added looking at Renee “Of course I’ll help that’s what Nanas are for” She replied smiling and snuggled into Marcus’ side.
Everyone gathered on the castle roof to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks that were being let off around the city “Happy New Year mi amore” Demetri whispered in Ally’s Ear “Happy New Year to you too” She leant up placing a kiss to his lips.
January 6th – Baby Volturi’s arrival.
Carlisle and Jasper had turned one of the guest rooms into a make-shift hospital room ready for Ally’s caesarean. That morning Demetri was fussing over Ally “How are you? Do you need anything? How’s the baby?” “Demi calm down, I’m fine; the baby’s fine, the only thing I need is you. Come and sit with me…I need a hug” She replied patting the space beside her on the sofa; he sat beside her and gently held her burying his nose in her hair letting her scent calm him. A few hours later Demetri and Ally made their way to the room Carlisle had set up for them; he and Renee were waiting for them “How are you today Ally?” Carlisle asked as Demetri helped her get comfortable on the bed “I’m ok thanks, just a little nervous” She answered low “You’ll be ok, I promise. You’ve handled your pregnancy a lot better than Bella handled hers, but then I knew what to expect this time” He said reassuringly “I’ll be here with you the entire time amore” Demetri says softly stroking her hair and placing a kiss to her forehead. Renee was acting as the nurse as Demetri didn’t want any other vampires in the room with them due to the blood. “Dem you can wait outside if you need to; please don’t make yourself uncomfortable” Ally squeezes his hand a little “Ally I’m fine and there is nowhere else I would rather be right now” Demetri kisses the back of her hand his eyes closed; his forehead resting gently against hers, Renee watching them with a big smile on her face ‘He truly does love and adore her’ she thinks to herself. The silence in the room is broken with the soft cries of a baby “Congratulations it’s a healthy baby girl” Carlisle says handing the baby to Demetri.
Demetri looked down at his newborn daughter in his arms and the first thing he noticed was her blue eyes…his blue eyes; the blue eyes he lost when he became immortal. He fell in love for the second time in his long life “Hello little one, I’m your daddy and I love you so very much. I will protect you and your mommy forever” He placed a kiss to her forehead and breathed in her scent then looking up at his mate he smiled “Thank you. You’ve given me something I never thought I’d have in this life, a family. I think I love you more now than ever Ally” He leant down capturing her lips in a soft kiss “I didn’t do it on my own handsome; she’s fifty percent you, so thank you to you too.” She said smiling before kissing him “I love you so much Demi”
“Sorry to interrupt the lovely moment but I think there’s another one” Carlisle says looking at Demetri. Demetri's eyes widen in shock. “Santo cazzo…” He breathed, the swear word slipping out effortlessly. Carlisle's eyebrows raised, but he didn't say anything. "There's…there's two..?? You're telling me I have two children..?" Demetri added, an awed smile appearing on his face as he exchanged a glance with Ally. She looked just as blindsided as he felt in that moment. He couldn’t believe it; he had been blessed with not just one, but two beautiful children, to help carry on his bloodline.
“Let me hold her Dem” Ally asked and he passed her their daughter to hold. Carlisle then handed Demetri his newborn son; who had Ally’s chocolate brown eyes. Demetri looked down at his son and fell in love for the third time in his long life “Hello son, I’m your daddy and I love you so very much” He held him close; his eyes filling with venom “I’ll protect you forever too” Demetri placed a kiss to his head; breathing in his scent “He’s perfect. They’re both perfect. Thank you Ally, mi amore.” He kissed her lips softly “He’s fifty percent you too Demi” Ally chuckled.
Carlisle stitched Ally up leaving her with a neat scar and administered some morphine for the pain. “Thank you Carlisle. I really appreciate everything you have done for us” Demetri said shaking his hand “You’re very welcome. I’m glad things worked out for you both” Carlisle replied smiling.
There’s a knock at the door “Only us” Esme says and she and Marcus enter the room “Hi Ally, how are you?” Esme asks “I’m ok thanks to Carlisle, mom and Demi” She replies “Would you like to meet our grandchildren Marcus?” Renee asks “I would love…wait…grandchildren?” He asks surprised “Yes master; Ally and I have son and a daughter” Demetri replies, smiling proudly “Congratulations my dear boy” Marcus smiled wide shaking his hand “And you Ally my dear are most amazing. Congratulations” He kisses her forehead “Thank you Marcus” Ally says smiling. Marcus moves to stand by Renee who is now holding their granddaughter; Demetri sits beside Ally as he passes their son to her. “Have you decided on their names?” Esme asked curious “Well we had a boy’s name and a girl’s name picked out ready as we didn’t know what we were having, so I suppose we can use both names now. Demetri would you like to tell them?” Ally asked smiling; Demetri nodded and smiled back “I’d like to introduce you all to our son Galen Volturi and our daughter Catalina Volturi” “Beautiful names and Greek if I’m not mistaken” Esme replies “Thank you. Ally wanted to honour my Greek heritage so she googled Greek baby names” Demetri replied smiling “I love the names you’ve chosen” Renee adds smiling.
Carlisle carried Ally carefully back to her and Demetri’s shared room so Demetri could turn her whilst Renee and Esme cleaned and dressed the twins, staying in the guest room with them whilst Demetri and Ally spent a little bit of time together before he changed her “I’ll be in the hallway if you need me Demetri” Carlisle said “Thank you.”
Demetri climbed on the bed carefully beside Ally and wrapped his arm around her “I just want to hold you once more before I turn you. I’m going to miss hearing your heartbeat when I hold you and when you sleep bedside me. I’m also going to miss your warmth. I love you so much Ally.” “I love you too” Ally responds; he unwraps his arm from her and positions himself so he is hovering above her, leaning down he kisses her neck, venom collecting in his mouth before biting her; letting his venom flow through her system, he then licks the wound to close it. “I’ll see you in a few days mi amore” He kisses her lips and rests his forehead against hers “I love you.”
Esme and Renee bring the twins to Demetri’s room and place them in the crib together “I’m going to have to get another crib as soon as possible, now there’s two babies” Demetri said “In fact we’re going to have a second set of everything” He continued “It was definitely a surprise when Carlisle said there was a second baby” Renee added “Would you like us to change Ally into something different?” Esme asks “Yes, if you wouldn’t mind. There’s a green sleeveless dress hanging up in her closet” Demetri replies. Renee and Esme change Ally into the dress and brush her hair out before leaving and going back to their rooms “I’ll be back a little later to help with the twins” Renee says as she gets ready to leave “Thank you Renee, I’d appreciate that” He replies.
Just as Renee and Esme leave Felix comes to see Demetri “”Hey Fe come meet my beautiful children” He said pride evident in his voice “Children as in plural?” Felix sounded shocked; Demetri chuckled “Yes Fe, Ally had twins. I have a son and a daughter and they’re gorgeous… perfect, like their mom” “Congratulations D. Our little human really is amazing” Felix replied looking at Ally and smiling “She not our little human any more Fe. She’s going through her transformation” “She’s still amazing and looks so peaceful D” “Carlisle gave her some morphine after her caesarean so that’s helping with the initial part of the transformation” Demetri smiled lovingly at Ally.
Meanwhile Ally is going through her transformation; ‘I felt Demi kiss my neck before he bit me letting his venom enter my system…the initial pain...wow! I know that mom and Esme changed me into a clean dress following my caesarean. It feels like my body is on fire; every nerve ending burns with his venom. I can feel my blood being replaced with venom; Demi’s venom. This is too much…I-I can’t do this.’ “I love you cara mia” She hears Demetri’s voice. ‘I can do this; I must do this… for Demi; for Galen and…Catalina.’ She not tries writhe too much despite the pain she is in; knowing that Demetri would feel bad enough, as he is the reason she is in this much pain.
On the second day of Ally’s transformation Demetri and Felix were holding the twins whilst watching The Hunger Games when they noticed Ally’s heartbeat slowing down “I know Bella completed her transformation in two days but I didn’t expect Ally to do the same” Demetri said looking over his shoulder “Carlisle did say that is was possible and let’s face it the fact they were both prepared for their change probably helps speed up the process for them” Felix says nodding in her direction. They decide to take the twins to Renee’s room “Can you watch them for me please? I think Ally’s going to wake up today and I’d like to take her hunting before she sees them again” Demetri asks “Of course I can, just come and find us when you’re ready” Renee responds smiling “Hello little ones, ready to spend the day with Nana and Grandpa?” The twins cooed in response.
Demetri returned to his and Ally’s shared room and stood at the balcony doors looking out over the garden; waiting for Ally to wake up as her heart beat had slowed right down now so he knew it would be soon. Ally’s heart stopped beating; the room now completely silent and Demetri looked over his shoulder to see her open her now red eyes. She could see everything more clearly; her eyes scanning the room and they fell on Demetri and she smiled wide, getting off the bed and running into his arms hugging him close “Oomph. You’re a lot stronger than I am now amore. It’s your turn not to break me” Demetri said into her ear “Sorry Demi” She pulled back a little and he took her in; eyes looking her up and down “Stunning baby” He ran his fingers through her hair that was now longer, brighter and fuller than before. He leans down and kisses her lips; his hands cupping her face “I love you Demi” She kisses him “I love you too” “How are the twins?” She asks “They’re amazing cara mia and so gorgeous” He smiles wide “Can I see them?” “I want to take you hunting first. Come on” He takes her hand in his and they make their way out of the castle, luckily it’s a cloudy day so they don’t have to worry about being exposed.
They leave Volterra to go hunting; Ally noticing every little thing as they run together including how fast Demetri is. He stops running and turns to catch her in his arms; Ally coming to a stop in his embrace. “Close your eyes and listen, tell me what you can hear” She closed her eyes and focused on listening to her surroundings. “I can hear faint chatter of people below; birds in the trees, traffic in the distance. It’s amazing Dem” “You’ve focused really well cara. Come with me and I’ll show you how to hunt. Stay close”
Ten minutes later they’re standing on the roof a building looking down at an alleyway that was about 5 minute walk from a bar. “Keep your eyes on those two” Demetri said pointing to a couple of drunks leaving the bar and making their way towards the alleyway; he took her hand in his “Jump with me cara” They landed silently in the alleyway below; Ally caught the scent of the couple and squeezed Demetri’s hand tightly “It’s ok cara. I’ve got you” She nods and brings her other hand to her throat feeling the burn “Not long now amore, just do as I do” He kisses her temple and releases her hand as the two men enter the alley and make their way towards them; once they are near enough she hears Dem say “Now amore” She watches as he grabs the man and sinks his teeth into his neck, the other goes to run but Ally is quicker and grabs him around the throat holding him to her chest and bites down on his neck, the warm blood flowing down her throat easing the burn. When she had drained the human she released him and he fell to the ground “Well done amore” Demetri says smiling and kisses her “Are you still thirsty?” “Thank you babe and just a little” She kisses him back “Let’s dispose of these two and then we’ll find you someone else.” Demetri snaps their necks and throws the couple into the nearby river and watches as the bodies wash away. “Come on cara” He takes her hand in his and they make their way towards another part of the city where they ‘share’ a human before disposing of them “You were amazing cara. You were fast, efficient and they were very clean kills for a newborn. I’m so proud of you” He wraps his arm around her, pulling her to his chest and kisses her “I learnt from the best” She kissed him back “Let’s go home” She laced her fingers with his and they made their way back to the castle.
They arrive back at the castle to find Felix and the twins waiting for them “How did our little newborn do?” Felix asks “She did great. She was fast, efficient and very clean for a newborn” Demetri replies his face and voice full of pride “Well done sweetie” Jane says smiling “Yes well done Ally. I must say you seem very calm for a newborn” Alec sounded impressed “Hopefully Aro will be just as pleased with you after the next tour” Felix adds; Demetri continues to look down at her with adoration, feeling proud of his mate “You think they’ll let me join the next ‘tour’?” She asks “Yes, especially once they hear how well you did on your first hunt” Felix replied.
Demetri and Ally make their way back to their room stopping by Marcus and Renee’s room to collect the twins “You look amazing my dear” Marcus says smiling at Ally “Thank you Marcus…or is it master now?” She replied “Marcus will do my dear” He smiled at her; Renee stayed seated on the sofa waiting for Ally to approach her “Hi mom” Ally sat beside her and carefully wrapped her arms around her “Hi baby girl” Renee replies hugging her back “Thank you for helping Demi with the twins” “No need to thank me that’s what Nanas are for. I’m looking forward to watching them grow up and spending forever with you all” “Me too mom” Ally replies smiling. “I’m impressed with her self-control Demetri, I must confess I was little worried how she’d be around Renee” Marcus said too low for Ally and Renee to hear “Thank you master. She also did amazingly well on her first hunt; she was fast, efficient and they were clean kills” He added smiling; Marcus chuckled and Demetri looked at him with an eyebrow raised “I think you’d be proud of Ally no matter what she was like as a newborn. I mean she could kill the postman tomorrow and you still be smiling and telling us all how proud of her you are” Demetri laughed too “You’re right master, I would be proud either way, but you know I’d cover for her, take responsibility for her” He said looking at Marcus “And that my dear boy is why we are allowing her to stay with us during her newborn phase. We know that you would take care of any ‘slip ups’ before they became an issue and so would Felix, Jane and Alec. She is also a new mom and we couldn’t separate her from you and the babies” Marcus replies “I’m guessing it also helps that Ally is now your step-daughter?” Demetri asks “It does. Your loyalty, your position as an elite guard and you being my personal bodyguard also went in her favour” Marcus added smiling “I have always thought of you as a son and now you are officially my son-in-law. We have a family to protect now” Marcus placed a hand on Demetri’s shoulder and nodded to the seating area where Ally and Renee were holding Galen and Catalina “Thank you master, that means a lot coming from you” Demetri responded “You can call me Marcus when we are not ‘working’ Demetri” “Ok, that’s going to take a little getting used to master…I mean Marcus” Demetri said smiling.
Once back in their room Demetri sat on the sofa beside Ally holding their daughter in his arms “I don’t care how quickly my little girl grows up; she’s not dating till she’s like 30, and even then if I don’t like him he’s gone” He said to Ally who was holding their son in her arms. “Now Dem, come on. You remember what it was like when my sister disapproved of you…of us” She replied “Yes I do. You stayed with me anyway. Hell you even left home at 17 and married me… gave me two beautiful children” He replied smirking but that smirk faded quickly when he realised what he just said “Annnnnd…there it is” Ally replied smirking and snuggled up to him “Oh Sshh you” He said pouting, kissing her hair.
Once they put the twins to bed they cuddled up on the sofa and watched a film together “Just for the record though I don’t regret anything and I am proud to be your wife and the mother of your children” “Glad to hear it mi amore as I am proud to be your husband and the father of your children in return”
Ally’s hand made its way down Demetri’s stomach fingertips brushing over his crotch and down his thigh then back up to his crotch cupping him and squeezing gently; he growled low “You like that?” She purred and repeated her action before climbing onto his lap straddling him, placing her hands on his cheeks she captured him in a passionate kiss; she bit his lip gently as she grinded against his hardening cock, his lips parting allowing her to deepen the kiss tongues dancing together. ‘He tastes better than I remember’ she thought to herself and started to unbutton his shirt her hands moving over his chest nails lightly scratching him; a light growl left him and he reached  over and ripped off the dress she was wearing “Hey! I liked that dress” “I’ll buy you two new ones cara” He said smiling before getting off the sofa and laying her down on the rug in front of the fireplace; removing his trousers, boxers and her lace panties before settling himself between her legs. She wrapped her legs around him then rolled them over so she was on top and removed her bra “I’ll be gentle with you. I promise” She smiled and winked at him “You’d better” He winked back.
“Remember the last time we were in this position with you on top?” He asks smiling; she smiled back at him, and if she had still been human, she would've blushed for sure. "Oh, I remember..." She answered, gazing down at him. He smirked, his eyes taking in all of his mate's glorious beauty. "God, look at you, Ally..." He breathed, in awe. She bit back another smile, and he laughed softly. "What? Say it, amore." He coaxed gently. She gestured at him lovingly. "Me? Look at YOU, Dem... You're beautiful... I mean…" She said, quickly becoming a little flustered. He laughed again, taking her hands in his. "No, it's okay; I know what you meant..." He reassured her. "Come here, amore..." He added, his red eyes darkening slightly. Ally let a sharp little gasp escape her as she finally, finally lowered herself down onto her mate. Oh, sweet heavens alive, did he feel amazing...! She let out a soft groan at the same time Demetri did, as every last little part of her was now completely claimed by him. "Jesus, Ally..." Demetri said in a ragged, breathless whisper. "I know, Dem... I know…" She answered, moving her hips against his. As she looked down into those dark ruby eyes of his, he gave her a sudden knowing little smile. "What?" She asked, her own crimson irises sparkling with humour. "Just... We're the same temperature now, baby." He remarked, smirking up at her. Ally's eyes widened as she realized he was right: what was once ice, and cold and somewhat foreign to her before, was now warmth, and heat and just... Home. Comfortable, perfect, made for her in every way and shape, possible.
She bit her lip as she looked down at him. He gazed back up at her, his complete love and awe of her newfound immortal soul reflected in his eyes. "Yes, we are... it's perfect. You’re perfect..." She murmured, leaning down to kiss him. He kissed her back with fervour, urgency, a heat that he'd had to hold back on a little bit, when she was still human. But now that Ally was immortal, well... all bets were off. As his tongue intertwined with hers, he let out a shaky breath, her name escaping his lips in a soft moan. She kissed him harder in response, at the same time moving her hips forward on him so he entered her a little bit deeper than before. The new angle caused a groan to escape both of them; the sensations and heightened awareness was all too much, but in the most delicious way. Her head fell back, eyes closed and lips parted slightly as she continued to move her hips over his; his hands trailing up her sides and taking her breasts in his hands squeezing lightly “Ahh” She breathed her hands resting on his chest; her entire body alight from the lightest of touches, he gently thrusted up into her hitting a new spot inside her that had her crying out his name “Demi” He thrusted up into her again as she grinded against him; letting out a hiss as her walls clenched around him, Ally quickened her pace as she chased her release “That’s it baby….” He encouraged feeling his release was close too. Demetri moved one hand down her body until he reached her clit pinching and circling the bundle of nerves and watched in awe as she experienced her first orgasm as a newborn. Ally felt Demetri pull her over the edge and into the abyss; her entire body tingling from head to toe “Oh…God…Yes!” She cried out; Demetri’s release followed “Oh…Ally…”
He sat up still inside her holding her close as he thrusted up into her; riding out their orgasms together. She wrapped her arms around him kissing his neck teeth grazing over his skin before she bit down on his neck and he let out a cry of ecstasy feeling her venom tingle against his neck “You’re mine” She purred in his ear; pride filling him to know she had marked him, claimed him as hers, the way he had marked her, claimed her as his when she was still human. “I thought my first time with you as a human was amazing…but god that was…” “I know baby” He kissed her softly holding her closer to him.
He laid her down on the rug and pulling almost all the way out of her; he ran his hand up her thigh holding her leg to his side as he re-entered her filling her fully, deeply, completely being at one with her. He roughly thrusted into her capturing her lips with his muffling her cry; her nails scratching up his back as he continued to take her roughly, growling into her ear “Sweet Jesus…Ally!” Him enjoying being able to be with his mate intimately without the fear of hurting her “I’m never going to get enough of you baby” He left a trail of open-mouthed kisses along her neck, his teeth grazing her skin “How is that different to when I was human Demi?” She chuckled; he growled in response and thrusted a little rougher that time; a breathless moan leaving their lips as they came together, their orgasms washing over them entirely.
He pulled the blanket down off the sofa and placed it over them as he held her in his arms “This is the part where you would normally fall asleep” He said low “I can always pretend to sleep…if you’d like” She replied winking at him “Don’t you dare amore. I’m only holding you to be a gentleman Ally” He winked at her “I plan to take you again…seeing as you no longer need to sleep” She gasped slightly as he re-entered her “I was hoping you’d take me again” She purred in his ear.

Here’s the OC I created right after my main girl group, the resilient Olena!
As always, the incredible @littlelightvii.
Olena’s family was never there, more by sad fate than by choice. Norwegian immigrants, they all starved to death, drowning in grief and famine, but trying to keep their youngest, Olena, alive. When members of the Graad Foundation tried to take the infant, the family refused, sensing a bad impression from these wealthy men.
Three years later, Olena’s father, the only survivor, sick and dying, entrusted his young child to a Silver Saint who was passing through his village.
She was trained to become the Selkie’s Silver Saint, and was primarily coached by Sedna, a mysterious saint sent by Shion. Sedna is actually an elite member of the Pope’s close guard, who doesn’t possess a cloth but a ray, that of the snow leopard. Indeed, she is a huntress of Artemis who agrees to train Olena in exchange for the protection of her sisters in arms.
Olena is the messenger of the Sanctuary, and her second mission is to deliver messages and monitor the progress of the training of future saints. Sedna took her to many different places, and despite the fact that little Olena had the fright of her life when she met Dohko, they remained very good friends afterward.
Olena is from Aiolos and Saga’s generation, and had a romantic relationship with the Gemini saint. Unfortunately, an Amazon could not have a connection to love, and Olena was left by Saga so she could obtain her cloth. It wasn’t a lack of love that separated them—far from it, their feelings still burning—but duty and the rules of the Sanctuary.
When Aiolos was chosen to be the new Pope, Olena was happy for him, as the two were good friends. She spoke normally to Saga afterward, something that had become rare since their separation, and Olena, a mere teenager, thought everything was fine.
When Shion was killed, Olena had a very bad feeling, finding the “new” Pope familiar, but not in a good way.
When Aiolos “betrayed” the Sanctuary and fled with baby Saori, Olena was on his side and hid his presence for a brief moment, but wasn’t quick enough to stop Shura. Taking advantage of the chaos, she found the one who had truly attempted to assassinate Athena’s reincarnation, and was horrified to discover it was Saga. She was completely unable to land a single blow and was violently beaten, resulting in the scar on her face.
Sedna, having sensed the confrontation, managed to teleport her discipline to safety, before being teleported to another dimension by Saga. Thirteen years later, Sedna’s corpse was brought back by Ghost Haru, aided by the deity Atè. The huntress had died of thirst, having drifted so much in this other dimension.
For a few years, everything was relatively calm, except for the fact that Olena completely hated Mitsumasa Kido, and yet had to visit the Graad Foundation several times to see when the orphans were ready to be trained.
Olena tried to take care of the young boys as best she could, and didn’t hesitate to physically distance Tatsumi or Saori from them.
She said absolutely nothing to the Saintias, but she didn’t go arresting Victoria or Hinata if they attacked them or defended themselves physically or verbally.
Her disciples were: Hope, Victoria, Hinata, Enora, and Esperanza.
Olena knew about Hope and Victoria’s relationship but said nothing, preferring to wait for her disciples to tell her rather than force the truth. She visited the future saints several times and met little Akina on Deathqueen Island.
One day, she heard screams while returning from a mission in Thailand, and barely had time to react before Misty, Hinata, Ptolemy, and Asterion hid behind her. Hinata was screaming that she had seen a man’s behind, Misty seemed quite shaken, Ptolemy was ready to run away, and Asterion was ready to fight.
The children were being chased by a man still dripping wet, and Olena was absolutely assaulted by the darkness of his cosmos. He struck her, which she received violently, but not before slapping him. She realized the man was Saga, and was overcome with relief. She noticed the mental struggle he seemed to be having, and embraced him with all her strength. Saga used this embrace to erase the memory from her and teleport her to safety with the children, before his evil side could hurt them.
Olena’s home was attacked by Ikki and the Black Saints because of her “bond” with Mitsumasa, and Hope lost her life defending them. Olena and Enora were saved by Hinata, who teleported them to Jamir.
Olena was rather amused to see Hinata’s feelings for Mu, and vice versa.
During the Black Saints arc, Olena was the first to meet Akina and was heartbroken for the young girl. She offered her painkillers and food, and let her leave with her piece of the Sagittarius Gold Cloth, to spare her a beating.
When Akina switched sides, she welcomed her with open arms and mourned her death, being one of the only people who knew the location of her grave. She made Ikki talk about Akina and their relationship, whether he liked it or not. Olena looks like Akina, who would be 14 years older; it was easier to make the Phoenix talk because of that.
With Mu, she prevented Hinata and Deathmask from killing old Dohko, but took a violent telekinetic blow from Tsuki, who wanted to see the Cancer Saint’s victory.
(Haru’s note: you were asking for it, Dohko.)
During the Sanctuary arc, Olena sided with Saori, understanding that she was the reincarnation of Athena and that she was doing her best to change.
Hinata’s death broke her heart, but she chose not to blame Mu when he told her the reason for his actions. However, she confronted Saga when she learned of his manipulation of her disciple.
She injured him and fled before she could take a single attack. When Saga died, he apologized, and it was clear that the two still loved each other. The Gemini Saint died with his hand in Olena’s.
During the Asgard arc, Olena confronted Hilda and managed to knock her out. She also managed to fend off Elania of the camellias and saved Kayla’s life by providing first aid.
During the Poseidon arc, she helped Ikki defeat Kaça and was the one who aided Kiki in her mission. She dispelled Kayla’s illusion.
During the Hades arc, Olena was very reluctant to let Dohko face Tsuki alone, but complied with his request to leave them alone. She encountered a completely panicked and bloodied Tsuki, who admitted to having killed Dohko and that she had done so out of fear. Despite her sadness, Olena let Tsuki live, understanding that this was what Dohko wanted. She met Raven and stopped her from slitting Ban and Jabu’s throats.
When she saw Saga, she quickly understood why he was there and didn’t let go of him for as long as he was alive. (There’ll be a kiss, lmao)
She went to the Underworld and was devastated by the sacrifice of the Gold Saints to destroy the Wailing Wall.
With Elania and Kori, they managed to seal Melinoe, and she managed to find Asmita’s spirit so he could speak to Tsuki.
In Elysion, she cheered Victoria and Hope’s reunion, while Raven gained a new trauma by understanding the origin of the noises she heard in Hope’s room as a child.
She was happy to see Akina and Ikki reunited.
In Soul of Gold, like Tsuki, Raven, Elania, Mutsumi, Esperanza, and Kayla, she was teleported to Asgard to stop Andreas. She was moved to find Aiolos again after so many years. She greatly helped Tsuki regain some self-confidence.
Personally, Olena knows how to survive hardships. In one evening, she lost her childhood friend, her master, and believed her former boyfriend, whom she still loved, was missing. This didn’t stop her from taking on neglected children as apprentices and fulfilling her duty as a saint. She is an extremely kind person who will try to understand the thoughts of her adversaries and seek common ground before resorting to violence. She hates all types of prejudice and will keep Aiolia company, despite the bullying of others. She knows how to take care of others and is generally a reliable person. She is quite curious, asking around as soon as she doesn’t know something. She is a good teacher.
Don’t hesitate if you have any questions !
The next oc will be Sedna, Francesca or Hinata/Raven.

+Uli what's the name of your childhood sweetheart?
“My Childhood sweetheart- his name… it isn't a simple thing to speak of.” Uli shifts uncomfortably, glancing to the side, he covers his mouth, the name chokes him as he tries to gather his thoughts.
“There.. Are a few things I would like you to know before I give you his name.. Then you may dismiss me as you will. Though I don't have all of the information.. I do know we were both very fortunate children..” He focuses on something in the distance, lost in thought, flooded with the fond and somewhat sad memories. He closes his eyes and sighs.
“Ama once said the King had fallen from grace.. I didn't really understand what she meant by that at the time.”
Years ago, the sun had just set, armed soldiers with torches approach the tiny town of Atrealia, Uli's grandmother had had some ill feeling all day and tucked her sleeping  grandson into the cellar with many blankets. Though they didn't linger long in this sleepy old town, though, the damage they would cause in their brief search would be felt for decades.
Days away, another small family spurred by a bit of overheard gossip. The matriarch of the family, a heavily pregnant mother by the name of Olena creeps out in the night, her two sleeping children hidden away under the softer goods they could carry with them on the wagon. They travel for days. Talking breaks under the heavy cover of woods. Her eldest, a sweet girl, helps forage and cook eager to help her mother. The boy still very young helps forage as well returning with what he could find.
And finally after days of travel the mother glances out beyond the treeline, a home, the chimney smoking and windows dimly lit.
A bit of hope flutters in her chest as she alters the wagon's course turning to the home in the distance, then finding a road and setting the rest of the town gradually emerge from the darkness.
A knock from the door makes the elderly couple stand from their seats, Ama scoops up her grandson as Apa cracks the door open before finding relief in the woman at the door opening or wide to welcome her in from the cold evening air. And after a bit of arrangement her two children are tucked into the warm home and their wagon safely stowed away in the shed for protection. With a couple days the new family was accepted into the village one of the vacant homes bestowed upon them.
“At first we were a bit wary, protected by our mothers from any straggling soldiers. though as a child ama simply told me it was typical beasties of the night on the prowl for children.. You know, as Ama would.”
Some years later, the son of Olena was sent to handle their few goods at the market and for a while his trip went well, that is until his cart hit a rock that broke part of the wheel, just his luck he sobs to himself trying for a moment to lift the cart to help his mule along but it was too heavy by himself.
It slips and he cries with a bit of surprise and curls up crouching. Home was such a long walk back and, market was just as far.
After several minutes another wagon rolls up the path, Uli notices. The boy and the wagon he pulls his horse to stop before climbing off letting his curiosity reign.
Uli crouches next to the boy patting his back tenderly.
"Do You need help? I have some rope.. We can probably do something to get your wagon moving again." He says Softly, the other boy, small and fair, his cool hued eyes wet with tears looks up to meet Uli's green eyes before drying his eyes with his sleeves.
Together they get the wagons tied together and ride carefully to market then home chatting the whole time.
“we were inseparable after that.  We did so much together, we would play in the woods and River. Make trouble all the time! And sometimes.. We Would just lay in the grass in the fields surrounded by the grass and the cows.. Then.. The call to my journey- I wonder.. if I'd had known what awaited me on my journey… if I’d have gone at all..”
“when I returned home to Atrealia, I was so eager to find him I ran to hug him as soon as I saw him, and he seemed to do the same before wavering to something behind me. I slowed pausing to look back, one of the guards from the castle had followed me home only to pull me back to the castle to fulfill my nine year draft..”
“I was never able to tell him how I felt. After being summoned I couldn't bear to tell him only to find out he didn't feel the same.. Ah- Not that it would matter now.. I know he went on his journey not long after I left.. But so much happened it all seems like a blur. Four months after the fall of the king of Embers. My most beloved friend stumbled into the throne room with some help from the guards who'd first seen him. My Vanya.. Holding the staff that claimed his heart.. Dearest Ivan, is the King of Clubs”
“he's better off now, with all the luck in the world and so many interesting opportunities… I hope it all makes him happy…”

on bede, rose, and olena
(or, how not to raise a child)
So it’s to no one’s surprise that bede is a touch starved orphan to begin with
He just wants Rose’s attention so bad
Despite Rose adopting Bede when he was about ten years old( giving them about six-seven years before swsh begins, I headcanon the main cast as 15-17) Rose never really paid attention to Bede?
Sure, Rose was there at the orphanage, flaunting his donations and philanthropy like any wealthy person would
And yes he adopted this “troubled pokemon prodigy”
But it was half him wanting a child to groom into a new champion ( plus the added bonus of the narrative of raising the troubled orphan to greatness, the press will really eat that one up) and the other half olena finding the best one there
In the beginning, life was good for Bede
Love, attention, clothes, the warmth of a bed and food, his very own pokemon-
It was more than he could ever dream of!
So this ten year old-this child- absolutely adores Rose
But after a week or so, Rose has to return to work, and suddenly has very little time for Bede
And so Bede does what every child would: he works his ass off to impress him
Sure, he’s enrolled in some fancy school in upper Wydon and has the top scores in his class
But he could do more
He spends his nights barely sleeping, studying until midnight, and training until after
He all but collapses during school and his head is constantly pounding and his vision blurry—
But you know what? It’s worth it.
Because every so often Rose will stop by, order some dinner for them, and congratulate him, before pressing on to work ever harder,
And Bede’s heart soars.
At the end of the day, with two papers half-written on his hardrive, a stack of books to study, and bleary eyes—it’s nothing. It’s worth it.
But it’s not enough.
Eventually, Rose’s visits peter out from weekly to monthly to seasonally—
(During his graduation, Bede scans the crowd for his father Rose, and when his classmates ask him, he loftily quips that of course, Rose has better, more important than their parents, and has other work)
Bede sees Olena maybe on a monthly basis, only for her to regard him coldly, and say that now that he’s out of school, he can look for wishing Stars and be useful
At this point Bede is running on pure spite
(Spite at what? His parents for leaving? Olena for pointing his every flaw? Rose for being a figure-head father? Himself for not being enough for anyone? The world may never know)
So, naturally, he can’t be mopey and sad and tired, because he’s Rose’s son successor (“Appearences,” Olena once said to time, stripping off his old clothes, an opal pendant his mother once gave him, discarding it amping tin brown clothing, “Reflect on Rose. You look poorly, and so does he. We can’t have that happen, can we?”) so he then turns into the cockiest little bitch
Bede carries Rose’s name, he was enrolled into the best school in Galar, so Appearences are e v e r y t h i n g .(aka he ends up with a lot of false bravado because that’s all he really has)
After graduating, he constantly breaks lesser rules, with no real parental figure to tell him no, and he’s actually more of a delinquent than he was in the orphanage
But he’s not really a bad kid, just acts out for attention like your everyday attention-starved kid
But he stops the first time when he actually gets attention and it’s disappointment
Some kid was mouthing off Rose, and Bede actually beats the kid up. No pokemon, just Bede
It turns into a media scandal, the chairman’s son beating the tar out of a kid, and Rose scrambles with public apologies and Olena slides in some hush money as well
And god, the tongue lashing he gets from Olena spans two hours, but Rose’s disappointment sure is something else for Bede
Just a frown and a few words, and Bede is nothing, without Rose, nothing. (Olena makes sure he knows that.)
So then, he shuts up, nearly for good. Finds darker corners of Wyndon, sits around the forest around town, never really talking to anyone. Just sitting.
One day, he just leaves. Makes off to wander a bit, away from the bright lights of Wyndon. (It’s not like Rose and Olena really care as long as he doesn’t pull another stunt)
His hattene finds him as Bede is swinging his legs off the bridge between Hammerlocke and Route 5. Just looking up at the stars, being quite at all that. Bede doesn’t say a word as the small thing plops into his lap, just begins stroking her hair. The boy always had a talent for connecting with pokemon, after all.
By then, it’s a couple months before the main story of SwSh. He’s all quite until the Gym Challenge is brought up, and people start whispering, and all of a sudden, he’s back with Rose, chin up, arrogance at full force.
(But his pokemon know-they always did- that Bede was never a bad kid. In the quiet, under the stars, he was kind. Just has his North Star thrown off kilter, that’s all.)
